Sir, i am milan jana, purchased railway ticket through irctc in sbi debit card in pos (Paytym). Purchased ticker on 13/11/2017.. I get msg/email from bank that my account has debited money. I also check balance that money has debited from my account. But i do not get any msg /mail from irctc for any confirmation of purchased ticket. I send an mail their customer... But i do not get any proper response. They always send ticket id. I atleast send mail 10 times. But i do not get proper response. Pls help me. I confused about present status of purchased ticket through irctc. Pls help me

    When i book tickets on irctc there are too many failed transactions for same ticket. Amount gets deducted and ticket only gets booked after 5 or 6 attempts.
    Experienced similar experience on irctc in past too when my friend booked tickets by paytm for me he got money deducted 3 times for failed transactions, then my brother booked same tickets for me he got money deducted 3 times through sbi net banking, was successful in 4th attempt. I think irctc is deliberately doing this so they can accumulate money from people and earn interest on failed transactions or they want people to go to agents.
    I have attached picture of recent failed transactions i suffered, finally have to give up booking this ticket.
    I think irctc (www.irctc.co.in) should be fined with the amount of interest equivalent to the amount of interest on failed transactions they earn each day, and this matter of number of failed transactions each day on irctc should be looked into.

    I am trying to verify my mail on IRCTC login portal but it shows that your mobile is already verified. But when when I go on portal for train booking it shows your I'd pending for mail verification.
    Please do this needful as soon as.

    It just shows no transactions available
    I booked 3-4 tickets in coming days.
    How will i get my tickets ? This is rediculous from indian rail

        Dear sir,
        My pnr no. [protected] (S5-51), i take a journey from howrah to ahmadabad on 11th november-13 november.
        I am order a meal (Egg curry + rice) on 12th november at 4-15pm for night as per your representative of that pantry car. But in mean time my physical condition deteriorate badly.
        So when they deliver the food at 8pm, i requested them to cancel my order for the reason of my physical condition, but they cant hear my word and force me to take this because i order that and i need to pay rs. 130/-. Then i receive and leave it on my berth (S5-51) as they give me because my internal condition is not able to take that.in that situation i haven't any way so i pay that money.
        So, i did not what is rule what not, if its wrong from that caterer site of that pantry car, please give a notice to that body that will not happened again.

        I don't know the pantry car representative name and their group but in their t-shirt back written as nccpl.

          Actually i had tried tatkal booking from bidar to yeshwantpur on 23 oct 2017, while i was booking ticket is not booked but money got deducted, i was booking through irctc android app and my payment gateway was paytm.
          In irctc website it shows as amount had been refunded to paytmsdk but till now i did not get any refund to either to my paytm account or bank account
          Please help me through this...

            I booked ticket online from bct to kota on 10th nov. Date of journey is 11th dec. The ticket amount was 6490. Train name is ndls durronto. The payment was done but the error msg popped up of ticket not booked. I mailed irctc regarding this but i am only getting automated response even their phone numbers are always on busy mode. Its been 3 days and i have not heard from them neither my amount is refunded.

            I am attaching the pic of payment settled and ticket not booked image.

            Please help in getting the amount refunded.

              Passengers are suffering because of this late... Why such a terrific delay is happening... 6 hrs delay.. It is unbearable... By this time it would have crossed Vijayawada but it s not yet reached rajahmundry.. Wht s the compensation irctc going to pay for passengers... Only thing irctc can do is raising ticket fare and providing worst service... Just come and sit with us then u can understand our trouble...

                            I had traveled from bangalore to kochuveli on 26th october 2017 on the train bangalore kochuveli express (16315). I had bought chappati & egg curry from the pantry services provided in the train. Two days later i was diagnosed with dysentry. I have heard about the bad quality of food being served and the conditions in which the items are prepared. I regret to take anything served in the railways furthur.

                                Hi all,

                                I was travelling from ludhiana to delhi on 8th nov, 2017 early morning. I have reserved my seat in sleeper class train
                                Seat number:cnf/s5/7

                                My boarding time was around 3am, 8th of nov.

                                The mentioned compartment was s5 which was not attached with the train due to which i had to travelled in general compartment where the seats are wooden benches. This made my entire journey pathetic. Though the train was late but this absence of compartment made my journey really painful.

                                I humbly request you to please refund my booking amount as this time it was not worth travelling in this train.

                                  We are travelling from shridham to bhopal at 5/11/2017. We have asked the ticket generator to give us the ticket of janshatabdi he gave us that ticket and said the reservation will be done inside the train by tc. But when we are travelling in the train the tc charges the fine for that train and doesn't gave the reserved ticket for some charge.                                     The metal covering is out of coach so that no one could sleep on it.
                                    IRCTC OTP is being sent after 10-15 minutes with the result it cannot be used for the purpose as the website gets timed out. The purpose gets defeated if OTP is not released within 5 seconds.

                                      It is an irony that the pm of this country is seeking to go for digitilization and one of its own prominent agency (Indian railways) is setting example so pathetic that anyone would get scared to go digital.

                                      Below is the description of harrassment i had faced with the online ticket and seek your intervention:-

                                      I had booked a 3rd ac online ticket from irctc portal via my credentials. I had to cancel it a day before the journey, but due to technical error from the irctc end, i was unable to do.

                                      I tried it for multiple times that day from mobile, laptop but no luck. I sent mail to irctc helpline ([protected]@irctc.co.in/[protected]@irctc.co.in)
                                      Equesting them to cancel it from their end, but they were also not able to do so. As online ticket cannot be cancelled by any other means i was helpless.

                                      After the train departed i was informed that tdr has been filed on 16th oct, against the cancellation.
                                      It has been almost a month and there is no futher updates with no conirmation on the timelines when the money will be refuneded or not at all.
                                      I have been following up every week with no direction on this

                                      Its not my fault that ticket was not cancelled due to techincal glitch on irctc site.
                                      Indian railways or irctc do not have right to block my money for so many days and without any transperency on the delays

                                      I need railways to refund my money immeadeatly along with intrest and compensation for the mental abuse i have sustained due to the inablility of a goverment institutuion which is supposed to much more efficient.

                                        Address: Thane, Maharashtra, 401105

                                        Ticket was booked in 4 months advance on21 july for 18 nov.2017. While booking seats were available but after payment booked ticket was on pqwl waiting list. If the tickets can not be confirmed then why it is getting booked giving trouble to public and wasting there money. If any ticket can not be confirmed it should not be booked. There should be some alternative. Kindly check and provide resolution. Pnr [protected]

                                        not returned my amount against my ticket cancellation on 08/11/2017,
                                        we raised the complain again & again but we have not received my amount in my respective accounts,
                                        my ticket ID (IRCTC #7231444)

The amount of Rs. 1681.80 was deducted from my account but the ticket was not booked. i kindly request you to please refund me the amount deducted from my account.
