IRCTC OTP is being sent after 10-15 minutes with the result it cannot be used for the purpose as the website gets timed out. The purpose gets defeated if OTP is not released within 5 seconds.
Respected Sir/Madam,

I was booking a Railsway ticket from using my debit card, but I was not successful.
After that I checked my account there were reduce my balance of RS. 832
I am trying to calling irctc's helpline number but there is no response.
what should I do.
Please help me.

    Dear sir,

    It is an irony that the pm of this country is seeking to go for digitilization and one of its own prominent agency (Indian railways) is setting example so pathetic that anyone would get scared to go digital.

    Below is the description of harrassment i had faced with the online ticket and seek your intervention:-

    I had booked a 3rd ac online ticket from irctc portal via my credentials. I had to cancel it a day before the journey, but due to technical error from the irctc end, i was unable to do.

    I tried it for multiple times that day from mobile, laptop but no luck. I sent mail to irctc helpline ([protected]@irctc.co.in/[protected]@irctc.co.in)
    Equesting them to cancel it from their end, but they were also not able to do so. As online ticket cannot be cancelled by any other means i was helpless.

    After the train departed i was informed that tdr has been filed on 16th oct, against the cancellation.
    It has been almost a month and there is no futher updates with no conirmation on the timelines when the money will be refuneded or not at all.
    I have been following up every week with no direction on this

    Its not my fault that ticket was not cancelled due to techincal glitch on irctc site.
    Indian railways or irctc do not have right to block my money for so many days and without any transperency on the delays

    I need railways to refund my money immeadeatly along with intrest and compensation for the mental abuse i have sustained due to the inablility of a goverment institutuion which is supposed to much more efficient.

      Ticket was booked in 4 months advance on21 july for 18 nov.2017. While booking seats were available but after payment booked ticket was on pqwl waiting list. If the tickets can not be confirmed then why it is getting booked giving trouble to public and wasting there money. If any ticket can not be confirmed it should not be booked. There should be some alternative. Kindly check and provide resolution. Pnr [protected]

      I booked a ticket from vadodara to new delhi on 14/11/2017 for 19/11/2017. The amount of Rs. 1681.80 was deducted from my account but the ticket was not booked. i kindly request you to please refund me the amount deducted from my account. The reference no. is [protected]IGACJJQIZ0.

        My bank account was locked when refund was initiated, which is why refund status on irctc shows account closed.
        Bank account has been activated again but there is no option on irctc site to get the refund back.
        I tried to contact irctc on the phone numbers (+[protected], +[protected], +[protected], +[protected] but it seems there are no representative to attend these calls. I also tried to contact through mail but only reply i got was from automatic mailer.
        I am not sure if irctc has any actual customer care service and it is very frustrating for anyone who need assistance.

          I have cancelled irctc train ticket vide pnr [protected] for sleeper class, the ticket is booked for 26-nov-17 travel, but i have cancelled the same on 10-nov-17, the cancellation fee charged for sleeper class was 120/-, as per irctc refund rules e-ticket cancellation fees for sleeper class is 60+20+applicable tax, where as irctc deducted 120/- from the amount i paid, which is totally wrong, i called irctc and explained and they do not have any answers for this.

          The refund policy is not clear and they are were deducting too much.

            Dear sir/madam
            I booked tatkal ticket on 11-nov-2017 as the availability of seat shown by irctc i immediately proceed to book. But i dont know why irctc did that transaction/deduction done in my account without booking my ticket.
            Okay i understand its sometime site or server issue
            But they have to refund me my money back
            When i call to irctc customer care they told me that refund will be given in 3-4 days
            Now problem is that i dont have enough balance in acc. To book ticket again.

                Please note that i sushant kumar travelling by 13287 on date 10 nov 2017.
                At the above stall the price of samosa written rs 20 for two, but debited 25 for two from all the customers.
                When iasked about this, the manager returned me rs 5/-.
                But this is not fair.
                Why they do this dirty work from all another customers in front of me.

                  I entered by auto to danapur railway junction parking perimeter. Even before entering that is on the road I was asked by an agent to pay parking charges of Rs 30 then I asked for coupon he gave me coupon of Rs 15.
                  Then I told him either to give me Rs 30 coupon or I will pay you Rs15.
                  But he started threatening me.
                  Then I tried to know the actual parking charges. And asked to different auto personnel. Then they replied that these agents are giving coupon of Rs 15 but they are taking Rs 30. And we are unable to do anything?
                  Is it not a corruption???
                  Where a no of people are involved. Plz enquire and sort out the issue permanently..

                    Sir, kindly note that since last more than one month i booked ticket from nzm to indore but surprised that ticket booked 3 times detail as under were in waiting till chart is prepaired:1. Pnr no. [protected] booked on 29/09/17 for journey date of 4/11/17 and till last moment it was under rac.
                    2 nd ticket pnr no.[protected] booked on 07/11/17, in tatkal but till last it was tq wl 2, 3 hence i cancelled the ticket, 3rd ticket vide pnr no. [protected], booked on 9/11/17in tatkal, again till last moment it was tq12, 13. I want to understand that why tatkal waiting list is there. You should book tatkal ticket only when it si confirmed. I have paid cancellation charges of around rs. 400/00 for all this reservation. I think some thing is going wrong as tatkal 1& 2 was not cleared as i think 10% quota of tatkal in every train is there. Please enquaire.

                        Am yet to receive my refund of ticked details mentioned below :

                        When will my tdr refund process will be initiated. I am going to complaint on different platform now.
                        It's been 20 days since i filed tdr for the ticket, i don't know why irctc is not taking any responsibility for quick solution to my complaint.

                        I think it's time for me to move to consumer forum. And why zonal railways is not repsonding on the case, since last 15 days tdr status is shown as "cr registered while the time generally it takes to resolve the issue is seven days.

                          I was traveling from bangalore (Sbc) to tumkur (Tk) for the first time and took the tickets asking for intercity but the vendor there gave me the ticket for passenger train. I dint know about it and traveled in the train. The tickets examiner verified my ticket and fined me on that.. This is the example for irresponsibility by the vendor and from which the passenger will have to suffer. I request the refund of fine amount that is 270 rupees...                               Once i canceled a ticket 1 may 2017. But still now on 10 november 2017 have not get my refund amount of 1280 rupee. I want to get attention to the senior authority that the present online payment service is third class. I also went the ticket counter but they said you will get the money soon; but after 6 month till now i have not got my refund amount.

                                Kindly help resolve my complaint.

                                I had booked an eticket from irctc website on 9th nov 2017, for which twice the cost was deducted from my hdfc bank account.

                                I used irctc rail connect mobile app to book the eticket.

                                The pnr no is [protected] and the transaction id is [protected].

                                The hdfc bank narration of the excess amount deducted is [protected] and the cheque/ref no is[protected].

                                The amount deducted is inr 2236.80.

                                Kindly refund the excess amount deducted from my account.

                                  Bearing pnr [protected] along with my spouse. The dinner which we received at was the worst food i ever had in my life.
                                  The food was taken from barauni as per told bt the manager mr. Shambhu sahu. Top of that when i asked for suggestions book he also refused to give me the same. Please look into the matter and give me the feedback.

                                    Really shameful for deducting an amount of 11.80/- without any prior information in the name of service charges by irctc. We all know that at the time of booking all the charges are added and irctc is not a lending bank to lend the money of 11.80/- at the time of booking, so why it is earning with such hidden charges. Till now i have been charged more than 200/- and yet the deduction is going on. Sometimes, it is upto 3 to 5 times in a single day. No response from customer care number. What to do now? Should i delete my login id to stop irctc?

                                    You may take your revenge to create trouble for me in booking. It is in practice now that with marginal waiting list i am not being upgraded to confirm ticket, but a person may get confirm seat if he has some contacts, i have this experience in delhi, when one friend of mine got his ticket confirmed because one uncle was there in railway. How is it possible in online booking system? So, just an eyewash, isn't it? Are the new railway ministry is unaware of all this? Trying to message them all.

                                      On date 06/11/2017 i m reserve one ticket from new delhi station by two agent they are standing at ticket counter they allso connect with railway police & tc they conversation with them one stall at out side tuch of plate form handicap stall
                                      They are manage from that stall they are given me ticket fro sarai rulla to bandra turminious when am traveling tc say this ticket not for mum its from abbu road they are charged me rs 1765/- +100 prosesing charge total rs 1865/- than i rich mumbai & i chk the charge of ticket amount rs 665/- no one can help me
