Sir/Madam,

IRCTC payment gateway is continuously failing at IRCTC end. Payment is getting deducted from bank but IRCTC is not providing booking. This issue has been reported by many other user but IRCTC has been neglecting this major issue. IRCTC is handling the world's largest railway booking chain in this digital era and fails to provide the basic need.

I request a proper investigation why this failure is occurring every first time when I try to book a ticket. If it's a technical issue why this is not being corrected. If this is intentional, who gave IRCTC the right to keep money for a week. Please assist.

    Hi,

    As per my experience while booking Tatkal tickets, if we select option as "Book only if confirm berths are allotted". But my ticked booked under waiting list my PNR no [protected] and my balance diducted from my account. When I contacted IRCTC helpline they didn't not provide any proper information. I didn't understand why they allow to book the ticket if there is huge waiting list and if there is a option for book only if confirm berths are alloted then why they charging the customer. Please look into this.

      Me and my brother were traveling from chandigarh to Delhi we were silently sitting on platform not initiating any inappropriate behavior suddenly 6 cops came to us and asked us to show our ID cards to them...we asked them reason for checking only our ids out of 100s of persons sitting there one of the cop started raising his voice I showed my ID card and my brother too at the end they said oh they have same father's name ...like what?? What if we don't have same father's name then ?? Then they were about to leave when I asked them reason for checking ID they didn't specify...they insulted us in front of whole railway station without any reason what if I was with my cousin ?? Or my boyfriend I'm an adult ...my train was about to leave that why I didn't take any action but now I want to.

        I canceled my ticket pnr [protected] and the amount was Rs. 12105.00. and 9, 084.65 The money was debited from my bank account and the UPI app says the transaction has been made. But the money was not credited in my bank account after the canceled my ticket.

        I request you to resolve my query as soon as possible since I am a regular college goer. Thank you.

          With all the respect and love for our Railways, I regret to inform you that the Berth Allotment in the online booking is totally illogical. When I bought a ticket PNR:[[protected]]) of four -person, one lady of 62 yrs and one man of 69 yrs, they both were allotted UPPER BERTH AND MIDDLE BERTH. This is absolutely inhuman and I would rather say total negligence on the part of IRCTC at least TWO ticket for LOWER BERTH but failed in two times.
          So I would like to request all concerned persons / departments, to kindly take a look into this matter and save hundreds of senior citizens from mental and physical turmoil.

          any update on this?

          Sir when I booked the first time then I got the same 4 seats two middle, and two upper berths, after that I canceled my confirmed (deducted ~750 Rs) ticket because my parents will not capable to climb the middle and upper berths.

          so the second time I booked with mentioned lower berths again same seats we got two middle and two upper berths.

          Note: that time ~150 seats are available

                              I was recharging my R Wallet with Rs.200 on 12:07 on this day through BHIM UPI. The money was debited from my bank account and the UPI app says the transaction has been made. But the money was not credited in my R Wallet.                                       From Chandigarh to sabarmati bg
                                      I had taken dinner from IRCTC person Veg dinner, he charged Rs 130/- No bill given, but while checking on website of IRCTC Price is Rs 80/- !! Tea in disposable cup is also charged double Rs 10/- while it’s Rs 5/- in your price list
                                      Please take necessary action to regulate by providing official Bill of items, who is taking this extra money ? Is there any checking system? Passengers are being LOOTED

                                        Actually in Bhubaneswar railway station I buy some snacks. It's includes some biscuits, cold drinks and veg Pettis. Trust me, that veg Pettis was really like black from inside. Black the sense, it was totally outdated, may be around 1 month old food. The shopman stores those Pettis in his show case from a long time. That Pettis was like blacky sewage like from inside and having a very bad smell. You know, outside of Pettis, you can't recognize that what is inside it. And also cold drinks doesn't have any MFD . What does it means? Be aware from rail ahar neither you may got a nice sickness an disease. 30 ruppes doesn't mean a lot if I say, but I requested you to at least have a up-to-date vision on rail ahar by food security service. Indian citizens knows about the food service and cost by rail ahar very well. But please think about any foreigner. If Indian Railways really wants to get some bad and hateful speak for rail ahar then let it keep like this. And yes take some actions against at least on the quality of the food, check the food quality and manufacturing date. It will be better to stop these services than killed by outdated food.
