Unfair Practice.IRCTC website. My complaint is, Why do you allow Tatkal Waitlisted Tickets by IRCTC online booking. Why should passenger suffer loss, even if he has not got Confirmed ticket. Today I was planning to book Sleeper Tatkal ticket for train no.12655 Ahm Chennai Navjeevan exp from Ahmedabad to Bhusawal. At sharp 11am, on Irctc website's Tatkal qouta I had seen 123 seats available, I started online booking procedure, website took my payment and at the end showed my Waitlist of 18. This was cheating. Then to cancel that Tatkal Waitlisted ticket, I loose Rs 90. Finally I got refund of Rs 380, where as I had paid Rs 465 from ICICI netbanking account. You should not give Waiting in Tatkal Qouta. Kindly look into it. This is Cheating happening. Naresh Sharma

    Sir, On Sunday evening, I tried to board the lalbagh express at Perambur station, Chennai with my 2 small kids. That sunday was close to diwali holidays. Since my compartment S10 was near the unreserved compartment, the compartment was fully occupied with unreserved people. With much difficulty, I boarded the train with my 2 yr kid in hand and a luggage but my purse was stolen within minutes in that heavy rush. Now, I am left with the scar of boarding the train in Perambur and on sunday evening. So, it looks like people should only book AC chair to avoid these issues. I request IRCTC to please do something for the people occupying reserved compartments. Can you please increase the unreserved compartments on Sundays and on Holidays ? Also, please put penalty for people occupying reserved compartments. regards A sufferer

      PNR:[protected] Tickets were booked for 3 passengers. Two were confirmed while 1 was waitlisted. The waitlisted passenger did not travel.Thus as per below policy we had to file TDR writh in 72 hours of arrival at destination. https://www.services.irctc.co.in/beta_htmls/REFUND%20RULES%20wef%201-Jul-13.pdf We reached at our destination at Saturday, 21 November 2015, 08:10:00 while I filed TDR on Monday, 23 November 2015, 14:58:00 (Transaction ID [protected]) thus the difference is less than 55 hours, but still the refused TDR mentioning " Invalid TDR Timestmap : WL " If anyone from IRCTC reads this, please reply.Otherwise. I would like to raise this to railways if IRCTS fails to answer.

A TDR was filed at the same time. Its been 6 months as you can see, but no response has been got. I can only see a status CR registered on my irctc account.I called up the northern railway and they said it is rejected. I don't see a reason why this is rejected as 2 tickets were not confirmed at all and this is unfair from your side.             I had booked a waiting e- ticket but was not confirmed charged rs217 approx including irctc service charge, but after automatic cancellation irctc have mailed me that they will refund only rs138 into my bank's account. Why is it so? And other thing is that I am calling at Customer support line but no one is receiving call and money goes on charging, I spent rs 30 in call but haven't talked to any executive till now. Why irctc is doing this type of money laundering policy.? Now I will file case against irctc soon. In call Support line I think irctc earns daily of approx rs20 lakhs. Just think.

              I have booked a e-ticket with pnr no. [protected] in train no. 12137 punjab mail express, but waitlist not clear upto chart prepared so my ticket automatically cancelled but my refund amout of 300 rs didn't refund in my bank account till now.

                I have an account in irctc.co.in (user name is Deepyaman7). Unfortunately, I forgot my password. I am trying to reset my password and your site ask the email verification password and mobile verification password. I already got the mobile verification password by an SMS. But, I can't get email verification password. I have tried twice and both of the time no email i have got.Please send the email verification password in to my mail ([protected]@gmail.com) urgently or suggest another way to reset my account.

                    This is being insane. I tried booking a tatkal ticket online. It shows seats available. But, when I finish booking, I get a ticket of 118 waiting list. Even if IRCTC attaches a new hogi for the train my ticket will not be confirmed.
                    Evenon a Sunday morning my money is deducted and when I ask for a refund I am being asked to wait for 5-6 WORKING DAYS. The earlier government used to suck our blood out. We thought this new government can do something better and so we voted for them. But these are more dangerous. They suck even our bones and out o[censored]s.

                                Again today my experience with Shatabdi Train remembered me about my travel 10 years back. Same improper quantity, missing food items, poor or say third class service from the attenders.

                                Even when complained they told that "its not possible" simple one liner.

                                Ordered Non-Veg meal at the time of bookings and received Veg meal with one liner "not posssible"

                                Received snacks in evening with missing products and less articles and received again one liner "not possible and thats what available"

                                So; why am i paying for such crap train and service when i am not getting it.

                                  Dear IRCTC team, Please note that I do frequent ticket booking on www.irctc.com for hassle free transaction. One of my TDR is not yet settled after giving so many reminders. it's been a long time (almost 5 months) to get a revert on the same. TDR was filled for PNR No. [protected] I had filed the TDR because ticket was partially confirmed. Out of 3 passengers, only one got a confirmed seat. That is why they did not travel with that ticket (note that they travelled 2 days later with another confirmed ticket). I have been sending e-mails to IRCTC but get the below response always: "Kindly note that all refund policy is framed by Indian Railway. TDR Refund is process/approved/repudiated by zonal Railway as per Refund Rules. IRCTC forward the case to Zonal Railway on the basis of customer requests. Once refund received from Zonal Railway, it will be credited back to customer account." I don't understand if IRCTC sends me this response only then whom should I contact from Railway. I have also sent e-mails on [protected]@swr.railnet.gov.in many times but did never get any reply back. Kindly settle the TDR soon. Ticket cost was Rs. 4770 and I am awaiting my refund of around Rs 3850 (50% deduction on 1 confirmed seat charges of Rs. 1590 and Rs 120 for 2 waiting list seat as confirmed be IRCTC executive thru 139 before filing the TDR) Please call me on [protected] or write me at er.[protected]@gmail.com if required. Smt. S roychoudhury, having ill health and old age can not climb upper berth. I request for one LB as per rly ministry's decision for her for safe journey and inform me. earlier.

                                      I have issued ticket of second sitting class in bandra okha spl train 09561 on 24/11/15.my seat no was D2-33.But when train arrived on baroda station there is no such coach in train.other passenger like me also searching for D2 coach.I have asked the Ticket cheker about the coach and surprise what he himself dont know where is D2.someone said the coach behind the engine is D2, but there was no lable on it, there is no lable of seat number in that coach and it was full of general passanger.hence i have to travel in general coach.I am very disappointed with indian railway.

                                        Hi, I tried to book a tatkal ticket on my user ID Kishorgzb from Anand Vihar Terminal TO Kiul Jn on[protected] against which transaction amount Rs. 699.20 has been deducted vide Transaction Id No. [protected] from my debit card but ticket has not been booked. only massage been display 'No Seats available. Transaction is dropped'. but refund is not made till the date there for you are requested to arrange the my transaction. Regards Kishor Kr. Bharti
