Hi, I had booked ticket from irctc in tatkal on 27th Aug, There were two transactions I did, one for 4531 rs which was not confirmed so I had to cancel the ticket as it was in waiting and was of no use, irctc returned only 4290 rs. The second transaction I did on the same day was for booking premium tatkal in same train as my previous ticket was not booked. For this transaction, the ticket did not book as the tickets were not left though they diducted amount 10425 rs. When I got the refund only 10215 rs were refunded. What I need from these online services is why are they not refunding the whole amount. They deducted almost 500 rs from a common man pocket in just 2 failed transactions.. God knows how much they would be earning from these failed transactions.

      Hi, I'm Jagdish Rao and this complaint is related to the IRCTC. I booked a e-ticket in train number 12620 from Udupi to LTT. The scheduled time of the train was 15:57. And due to monsoon conditions the changed train time was not mentioned in the sms which I received upon booking. Due to this inconvenience I couldn't catch the train on changed time

        I have tried applying for IRCTC UBI Prepaid card twice and the payment was successful via Citrus Pay(total of Rs.1000 has been debited from my bank account) but I didn't receive any confirmation from the merchant. Also, my application wasn't registered successfully. Its been a week but I didn't receive the money back to my Bank account yet.

        I contacted Citrus Pay and they asked me to contact IRCTC. Therefore, I contacted IRCTC and they asked me to contact Union Bank of India. UBI customer rep. gave me an E-mail ID([protected]@unionbankofindia.com) and I sent an E-mail along with the attached information.

        Till now I've not received any response regarding this issue. I'd request IRCTC to take immediate action on this problem before I take any legal step.

            I had taken an e-ticket on last june 6th 2015 through IRCTC and journey was from Trivandrum to New Delhi on 23rd june 2015.And due to some reason the train was cancelled.Here are the details PNR :[protected], Train no: 12643, Date of journey :[protected].The ticket rate was 1830rps. And it have been 3 months, yet i didnt get my refund back.
            Until my complaint is solved, I cant rate this, ,
            I had book an e-ticket on 17Sep. 2015 through IRCTC and journey was from New Delhi to Jullandhar and Jullandhar to New Delhi And due to some reason I was cancelled both of Tickets.Here are the details PNR :[protected], Train No.12497 and PNR No[protected], Train no: 12030, Date of journey :[protected]. Payment(GATE WAY) done by AXIS BANK yet i didnt get my refund back.kindly do the needful.

              Yesterday i tried to login with my existing account in order to book a ticket, but had forgotten my password. so i followed the specified procedure in order to receive a new password. i received the mobile verification code and typed in the code in order to receive an email with the new password. but its been almost a day and there has been no progress on the matter. i repeated the procedures 3 to 4, times still no use. upon looking up for the solution in google all i find is the same problem for many people going unanswered. Are you people seriously running a professional website? What would a person do in case if it was for an emergency purpose. People might suffer great a loss just because of your tomfoolery. PLEASE improve the response time for your website. No wonder so many people hate this website.

                    Support team, I have booked a tatkal ticket from ADI to AF for AGRA SUPER FAST on 25-Aug-2015 and Date of Journey was 26-Aug-2015. For reason train Cancelled ( delayed more than 3 hours and partially cancelled also from ADI ) so the passenger has not traveled, I filled the TDR for the same in IRCTC against my ticket and the status was turned to CR Registered, but the amount was not refunded yet. I am not sure what else I might be missing to get amount refunded.                       My trip in 13484 on 14-09-15 I have one water bottle rail neer by pantry cart staff printed rate Is 15rs he take 20rs . I said printed rate is 15rs he its available on 20rs u bye or not. There is no meaning of printed rate this is 20rs is the right rate. I dont have any option so I bought it to pay extra 5rs.

                          Dear IRCTC On 11/9/2015 I booked train ticket ( PNR no: [protected] ) at the site of yatra.com but the ticket was cancelled. after two days later IRCTC send me a mail that was dear customer your ticket has been cancelled so the amount of 259/-rs will refund shortly. But I didnot get the amount 259/-rs. So I kindly request you to please refund the amount shortly THANKING YOU

                            Dear Sir, I have booked tiket from DNR- CDG Express from Danapur Jn to Roorkee Junction today on 13 th sep 2015 from Patna. While booking the tkt i have booked my ticket and got middle birth on S1 coach seat no 53 of Booking Status Current Status CNF/S1/53/MB CNF at nearly 12 30 pm. On 3 :01 pm i have again got one PNR confirming my seat in same coach on S1 seat no S1 32. So i stunned and checked that the ticket was booked twice and then cancelled and the 50 % of the value of second ticket was deducted from my account. Kindly look into the matter urgently and i am hereby appealing for my further move will be to the session courts for further processing of my ticket amount and a justice appeal from you.My both the ticket details are as follows 2 Transaction no pnr no train no from to date status [protected] [protected] 13255 DNR RK 13-Sep-2015 Cancelled 13-Sep-2015 [protected] [protected] 13255 DNR RK 13-Sep-2015 Booked 13-Sep-2015 i dont know how second tkt was booked, so kindly refund my excess amount deducted. I have booked another ticket the same day for travelling on the next day - PNR No [protected] for the same set of passengers and we have traveled on the next day Its been around 4 months since i have raised the TDR and there isnt any progress/update in the status or refund of the money Could you please escalate this and refund my money as early as possible.                                 Wrong Cancellation Charges

                                This complaint is regarding the common glitch in cancellation amount charged by the IRCTC. As per the current refund policy of IRCTC (http://contents.irctc.co.in/en/refundrules.html), the cancellation charge for AC 3 is Rs 90/- when cancellation of confirmed tickets is done more than one day in advance of the scheduled departure of the train, excluding the date of journey.                                 Hi,
                                I got a call from this number ([protected]) saying that he was calling from IRCTC and asking for details of my Debit Card with CVV. He told me if you don't provide the details then they can not transfer the refund amount. When I interrogated why are you asking any valid authority should not ask so. Where are you calling from. Then that person suddenly disconnect the call. This one looks like a Big Fraud.

                                I have received this call at one of my phone number ending with 675(I will provide full details to forum authority o any valid authority)

                                True-caller location found: UP EAST
                                The fraud done from the phone number-[protected]
                                True-caller found that phone connection holder name: NADEEM
                                DATE and TIME of calling-12 Sept 2015 .. 1:01 PM

                                Be aware of this fraud. I request Forum authority to take steps for strong action against this fake caller.

And every time I received message that "email has been again forwarded to the concerned department". But I have not received any update for my refund amount when it will be provided.                                       PNR [protected] Train No./Name: 13113 / HAZARDUARI EXP. Amount paid : Total:1695.6 and PNR [protected] Train No./Name: 13113 / HAZARDUARI EXP. Amount Paid : Total:1695.6 I filed for the reason that IRCTC cancelled the train at the time of travel. These both PNR is E-tickets purchased online through IRCTC website. If a person is travelling round trip holiday purpose it is almost impossible to file TDR within 72 hours of train boarding time. however i was facing failure issues on the website during the SLA period, may be because of heavy load on website due to lot of trains are cancelled or delayed (Rainy season in August first week for Kolkata) i did emailed to [protected]@irctc.co.in and [protected]@irctc.co.in about the TDR issue. Response is TDR filled out of 72 hrs period. When it is e-ticket, whenever a customer cancels the ticket or if it is Waitlist or not confirmed the amount is automatically transferred in cusomter's card or bank account, but when irctc cancels the train, they expects us to file TDR within 72 hours of time period, no matters website is working or not working. I was relieved and under impression that though its an e-ticket amount will be credited in my card account. Still its been seen in irctc portal the status is CR Registered. I called customer care today moring and spoke to one of the executive and she told there is no estimated time to get it fixed. Please it's an request do make a refund to the account as soon as possible.
