I was so looking forward to my train travel from so many days…But it turned out to be a big horrific train experience… I want to desperately share it with you as I don’t want anybody to be stuck in this situation. We r going to kalyan (mumbai) from Guwahati by Lokmanya Tilak train . Though we booked a ticket for Second class Ac coach…It doesn’t feel like its an AC coach bcoz of its poor and unhygienic maintenance. In so called AC train…AC are not working…I fail to understand why on earth they write AC on ticket when they don’t understand AC coach needs working AC. Just bcoz AC is there doesn’t make us feel cool air to add it to our misery the unavailability of ventilation is suffocating us to death as fans are not working . To make matter worst we r not getting any official personnel to get an answer(no attendant, No TC) Even their call centre representative is unsupportive. I really wish to give feedback to Mr.Suresh Prabhu that under your care Indian raliways turn out be worst than ever…where r your promises now…they don’t stand here…all I can see is failure…Where are you?...my past experience with Kamakaya express when I was travelling from Guwahati to Nagpur was no different…Is it the way to make railway profitable by ripping of[censored]s with false services?I want t9 raise my complaint against railway department.

    Train was cancelled by railways due to some reason, there was not any information regarding refund process. So, I was waiting for the refund from IRCTC since I considered it should be auto refund process for tickets booked online. Not only I, most of the people have same knowledge regarding refund process. On enquiry about the refund IRCTC told no refund shall be given since the time for filing TDR is over now. So no refund will be given now. "As per railways - passenger should file TDR against the ticket within 72 hours of departure time of train to get refund." My point is if the train is cancelled, ticket is also considered to be cancelled, and then IRCTC should give full refund of the ticket since it was not customer's fault. Why to file TDR against cancelled Train. IRCTC has all the information regarding passengers so they should initiate the refund by their own. Or else they should inform about the process in cancellation message itself. Many o[censored]s has suffered the same due lack information provided by IRCTC. This is total IRCTC's fault. In this modern generation almost 90% of the tickets are booked online and I guarantee out of 90%, more than 90% people are unaware about the process and rules. Railways can make rule but they should share the information clearly to customer, not like hiding rules somewhere inside portal where no one can see. This way they have looted many customers keeping themselves safe telling rules are there in the website. This is harassment to all o[censored]s. Please help me to get my money back, I am filing a case against IRCTC.

    Train was cancelled by railways due to some reason, there was not any information regarding refund process at that time I called to IRCTC Chennai office Customer care no [protected] he is saying if your ticket is online booking than your refund will be credited automatically but till today refund is not credited in my account, so Today I am Calling to Delhi Office he is saying refund will not processed because you are not filled the TDR so Please mail on [protected]@irctc.co.in. I have mailed to [protected]@irctc.co.in than he is saying your refund is not possible because you are not filled TDR within 72 Hours.
    If the train is cancelled, ticket is also considered to be cancelled, and then IRCTC should give full refund of the ticket since
    it was not customer's fault. Why to file TDR against cancelled Train.Please help me to get my money back,

          Sir, I had booked tickets for my mother aged 86, my wife aged 57 and myself aged 65 on 01 Apr 2015 for a journey from Mavelikara to Pune boarding on 15 June 2015. I failed to get the entitled concessions for my mother and myself. PNR No. [protected] refers. However it may be mentioned that i got the entitled concessions for the onward journey vide PNR No.[protected]. One more thing i would like to point out is that even though i was the first person to book the ticket we got upper berths, and this is not the first time this happened. Persons who booked tickets later and considerably younger have got lower berths. It is requested that the difference of fare eligible to us may please be refunded.               I have traveled from bombay duranto and ordered veg food while I was having food despite rotis are like rubber trying to eat when I was eating sweet ( gulabjamun) I found a bee inside that this what u provides to customers... I am seriously stuuned by seeing that I have each and every proof which u cant imagine so I am wrighting this detail to complain that we are veg plz dont do such things to break our vegetarian nature I have a document sighned. By your staff..we go to duranto so that we can eat a good food but the food we get is really really really bad I demand my money back .

                Sir My reservation cofirmed in magadh express 12401up on 8th july 2015. I take tatkal ticket from agency situated in ranchi town. PNR no. is [protected]. But due to emergency i"ve to cancel my ticket after 15 minutes. Agency told that no provision of refund in tatkal ticket. whether Railway announced 50% refund in tatkal ticket. suggest what i can do.                   Today i was booking ticket for my mother and grandfather from new delhi to patna in sampark kranti super fast train and their is more than 180 seats are available and i have also selected the preference of lower birth as they are more than 60years in age and they can not go to upper or middle birth. But as irctc planning and business team has strategy not to book lower birth first and made web site as their requirement and business, i am not able to book lower birth and i got one middle and one upper. This has happened earlier also. So, It is humble request from the customer that please at least for senior citizens and handicap peoples, reserve some lower birth so that their could not be any possibility of trouble and inconvenience.                     Dear sir/madam I am registered member of IRCTC with user id - abhilesh03 (e mail id - [protected]@gmail.com) On 07th July 2015, I got SMS from my bank on my registered mobile no -[protected] saying Rs. 3842.26 was debited from my South indian bank account by IRCTC. Here is the actual SMS that I received - " Dear customer, Your A/c XXXXXXXXX is debited with Rs.3842.26/- Info: DOUBLE CREDIT IRCTS TIC REVERSED." however, I never booked or cancelled any ticket costing this much amount any time as far as I know. Also I am unable to understand what this DOUBLE CREDIT IRCTS TIC REVERSED means and for what reason this amount was debited by IRCTC. Kindly explain the above query and give the details about this deduction as soon as possible.

                      Booking Tickets 4 months advance is ridiculous. In four months, it is very much possible that your plan will change. And the cancellation charges are heavy. Does other websites like snapdeal, flipkart, amazon etc charges any money on cancellation of the booked items. No refund on Tatkal is another way to earn money. Once I was booked flight from GOA delhi. And I booked Tatkal train from Delhi to bathinda. My flight got delayed by 5 hours. So I had to cancel my train booking. No money was refunded to me. Is it my mistake ? Why should I bear the loss ? If train is getting cancelled, is IRCTC giving any compensation to passengers and penalises the railway ? No. Then why the other side is biased? Whether by introducing new schemes such as book premium tatkal, book 120 days advance, book after 10 AM, agents can't login before 8' O clock etc is offering more seats to passengers. For the same train, the passengers traveeling is still same but the earning to IRCTC is more. Actually when private companies such as amazon, snapdeal etc can provide free booking and cancellation, why not a government company can provide the free service when it is made for it.

                        I booked my tatkal ticket through my irctc login account on 8th July 2015 in All JAT Express train no 12413 from Delhi to Jammu Tawi to travel on 9th July 2015, while I start booking availability of seats were 169 and I made payment from SBI salaried account a sum of Rs. 477/- but reservation was declined by stating that no seat available and payment dropped. Now I am seeing that WL 01 shown awaiting list. Therefore, I would like to know the circumstances under which my tatkal ticket was not booked even in awaiting nor amount refunded to my accounts so far. Please elicited.

                          I have booked ticket 2 ticket on 15th march 2015 in tatkal and 16th of march i have placed tdr for 1 ticket bcoz train is running late by approx 9 hrs
                          As per irctc guideline the tdr money is refund in max 90 days but i can't get any amount from irctc

                                  I have booked the tatkal ticket from bksc to njp wrongly with pnr no
                                  [protected] on 07-jul-2015 in train no 15661. As i have read in news paper that cancellation of confirmed tatkal ticket will got a refund of 50% amount w.E.F. 01/07/2015.But after reservation, i cancelled immediately that tricket has shown that there is noi refund amount vide transaction no [protected] on 11:44:13 hrs. Kindly refund the amount in my account

                                  I agree. They advertised in all news channels, newspapers, websites that they will refund 50% against cancellation of confirmed tatkal tickets from July 1st, 2015 but now when I call to 139, they say that still this new rule is not implemented yet and said NO amount will be refunded.

                                  We planned to book a tatkal tkt from Varanasi to Vijayawada but since booking was over, so we planned for a break journey and booked a tatkal tkt from Varanasi to Bhubaneswar and(3hr45mins time gap is there btw 2 trains) Bhuvaneswar to Vijayawada where it got confirmed. Now, Varanasi to Bhuvaneswar train delayed by 7.5 hrs which resulted in cancellation of 2nd train Bhuvaneswar to Vijayawada and thus no amount is refunded. This is fully cheating from IRTCTC/Govt. when train comes late and we are losing all the amount for cancellation without travelling. Please refund the amount. File a case on IRCTC..

                                      Hi I traveled in Delhi-Jammu Rajhdani on 3rd July along with 2 relatives and unfortunately had to travel without AC whole night as AC did not worked. Many Male members asked TT to work on it but he could not help and refunded the money to those male Passengers. We Request our Money to be refunded as we paid for AC travel which did not worked as expected and could have traveled in NON-AC in much lower fare.
