My booking transaction id : [protected]
I tried to book my ticket on 14 may 2019 from train no. 12420 (Gomti express) but it failed and my money of rs. 565.49 got deducted and haven't refunded to me yet.
I talked to customer care of irctc and they told me to wait for 1 week but the time passed and my money didn't refunded then they told me to talk to my bank customer care.
Therefore i talked to my bank (Allahabad bank) customer care they gave me a complaint no. I. E (Albcare97390) and time of about 2 weeks and again time passed and my money didn't refunded, then they told me that irctc hadn't transferred money to my bank so i have to talk to irctc customer care again, hence i talked to irctc customer care again on 17 june 2019 and he told me that irctc hadn't received my money and it had been in the hands of payment gateway and also told me to mail here.
Please refund my money as quickly as possible. I am a student and have not much money to buy my books.

    I have booked tatkal train ticket from haldwani to umbala cant on line mode from irctc side on dated 03/06/2019 amount paid through sbi net banking. Due to waiting list ticket has been cancelled. I have contact irctc customer care he told me amound has been refunded from irctc. I contact home bank branch but refund amount not credit my bank account.
    Please solve this matter as soon as possible.

      Sir/ madam,
      I have booked 2 tickets from irctc on dtd.26.04.2019 one in tatkal quota and other in general quota but unfortunately both tickets got cancelled by irctc after chart preparation as both ticket was e-ticket and were in waiting list.

      But i am surprised in spite of reminding irctc team by email / direct calling to customer care no result found in my favor. Customer care persons always says same dialogue "now our system is not working please call after half an hour" where as irctc email department writing same thing we have forwarded your complaint to concern department, you will receive reply shortly ".

      I do not understand what irctc is doing on refund case???
      Can anybody assist me in this matter.

        Irctc wallet description on website says:-
        It saves the payment gateway charges charged by banks and irctc charges rs i10.00 per booked ticket while booking.

        The time taken for payment is less as there is no need to pay through gateway but it asks for password at the time of payment for booking which takes approximately the same time as payment gateway to confirm payment. It creates problem during tatkal reservation.

        The refund amount of cancelled tickets is refunded on the next day as described by irctc but customer care says it can take anywhere between 24 hrs to 7 days for refund.

          I used paytm gateway and my sbi debit card for railway ticket booking dated on 27/05/2019. Due to unavoidable situation i have cancelled the both tickets on same day. Irctc has credited ticket refund amount to paytm. Which is not credited till now in my account. The details are as under.

            I had booked a train ticket but it was running 12 hrs late. So, i filed a tdr 3hrs 8mins before the supposed departure time and i'am attaching the file of tdr complaint here as a proof of this. I did not travel in the train and booked another train. The status is now showing repudiated. As the rule is to apply 3hrs before the expected departure time, i dont't why it has been rejected.

            Train details are as follows :-
            Train no. - 15705
            Train name - champaram hamsafar express
            Date of expected train departure - 13th june
            Time of expected departure - 3:30pm
            Actual departure - more than 12 hours late

              Booked a ticket with irctc on 24th april and cancelled on 25th. But till date, no refund has been credited to my account. I got the below mail from irctc saying the refund is processed.

              We wish to inform you that, with reference to refund against pnr number [protected] /irctc transaction id [protected],
              An amount of rs. 485.0 has been processed as per below details:
              Date of cancellation of e-ticket/date of failure of e-ticket booking: 26-apr-2019
              Refund processing date: 30-apr-2019
              Refund amount: 485.0
              Refund id = [protected]
              Refund reference no: [protected]
              Payment option used : credit & debit cards / upi (Powered by irctc ipay) (Mobile_pg)
              Booking reference no: [protected]

              But when i checked with the bank, they said the refund reference number is not valid. So they cannot check. I tried to contact irctc customer support, but no response from their side. They keep on responding, your request has been forwarded to concerned department. But i never got any proper response.

              Calls made to customer support team of irctc, keep on rejecting my request to look up on the issue. Also senior executives keep on disconnecting my calls.

              Bank asked for the mode of refund and the correct refund reference number to check for the refund. But irctc support team is worst. They don't listen to your queries at all.

                    Today i have try to book tatkal ticket but unable to book. After typing the correct captcha system is asking wrong captcha. After trying 3 times i can able to go next page and message is not available.

                    What i understood its not possible to book tatkal ticket with internet. Irctc not allowing internet user to book the ticket the captcha issue is to making fool. I have the screenshot and three times i have type the correct captcha.

                    Is there any justice for this issue.

                        I've read through all the helpful posts re: syncing a cleartrip and irctc account and was able to secure a mobile otp as a non-indian resident but never received an email otpin my activation email from irctc.

                        I contacted [protected]@irctc.com and they told me to contact cleartrip ([protected]@cleartrip.com) which i did but haven't heard back.

                        Any tips? I'll need to book train ticket in a few weeks.

                          I have booked 4 tickets on Bhopal shabdi on 22/07/2019 vide PNR [protected]. I have opted vegetarian meal for all 4 passengers but the booking shows 2 veg and 2 non-veg. kindly advise me as to how to correct.

                            I had ti receive a refund amount for my waiting listed ticket from vijayawada to krishnarajapuram on 28/5/19, i had received information that i will be refunded through mobile msg and in my irctc account.                               I have cancelled a ticket with PNR [protected] and it has been more than a month but did not receive the refund. Raised a complaint for this and attached the bank statement for this but no action has been taken till date. Complaint has been raised several weeks ago but no action has been taken. I spoke to Bank regarding this and they got a confirmation from IRCTC stating that money is with IRCTC. So look into this issue.

                                I have cancelled a ticket on 3rd June 2019.
                                But Still amount of Rs 2240 not get credited in my Account.
                                I have contacted IRCTC customer care they said Refund has done, please contact your branch.
                                Then i have also contacted with my Bank branch they said there is no refunds done or i have not get any Details regarding your refund.
                                Getting more trouble from both side

                                What can I do now i request you to please take some action regarding my Issue.

                                    Dear sir/madam,

                                    Three o[censored]s ladies (Copied on this email) were booked on the
                                    Wztt06/uttarakhand chardham yatra ac tourist train from 3/6/19 to 16/6/19. We have major concerns with how the tour was managed by irctc/tmi and hence this mail. https://www.irctctourism.com/pacakage_description?packageCode=WZTT06

                                    From day one, our concern started. First hick-up was lack of
                                    Communication. We received information on our coach and seat number.
                                    But we were not told the train number or which platform it will be
                                    Arrived. We were not given any contact details to get in touch to get
                                    Such information when we reached station. So we ended up running from
                                    Pillar to post to find this information.

                                    During one and half days travel to hardwar, we faced two major
                                    Challenges - cleanliness/water provision and food
                                    Quality/arrangements. Only one place (Kota) train did water filling.
                                    Which was emptied by the same night and rest of the way we ended up
                                    Having clogged and stinking washrooms and were unable to use them.
                                    During travel of 1.5 day from pune to haridwar, only once cleaning
                                    Person came for sweeping and mopping. They came twice for collecting
                                    Garbage. We found our coach and clogged washroom as it is once were
                                    Back in train after 10 days. This was the level of cleanliness and
                                    Hygiene maintained.

                                    Second issue was how the food distribution was arranged. Tea/coffee
                                    Servers where just passing by without really bothering to serve them
                                    To all. If you are lucky to catch one, you will get to drink it. Then
                                    Came lunch arrangement. 30 seat capacitor dining hall was used to
                                    Serve 235 passengers. The way we had to wait in queue outside dining
                                    Hall because coach manager was sloppy in communication and the way we had to fast forward eating so that we can make space for others was
                                    Too humiliating.

                                    Then came the bus issue once we reached hardwar. We were promised a/c bus, but driver declined to start a/c as they were not informed about
                                    It. After three hours delays and mental harassment due to arguments
                                    With driver and tmi "managers", we finally were given a/c bus. Again,
                                    The next issue is how the bus was filled till the last seat. Char dham
                                    Yatra is generally done by 50+ aged people. Still bus was filled till
                                    The last seat which resulted in 5 people sitting in the last seat.
                                    Imagine old people of your parents age, travelling in last seat, on
                                    Ghat roads, which are narrow and full of potholes. Do you really make
                                    Your parents travel like that? Then why this was not considered for
                                    Aged passengers doing yatra through irctc?

                                    Next issue is of food quality. We were given such bad quality food -
                                    Half cooked/over cooked, thickest chapati possible, burnt chapati,
                                    Left over dessert from previous night, fried things in breakfast (Who
                                    Eats fried onion bhajji in breakfast at 6am?). No thought process
                                    Given in food menu or quality. We all ended up having stomach issues
                                    By the 5-6 days of the trip which lasted till end.

                                    Next issue was accommodation. You name the issues and we have it. Tmi management was so lethargic that they didn't plan the accommodation in advance. Rather the did it the previous day. Because of that we ended up getting worst accommodation possible though we were promised a/c accommodation in the itinerary. We were struggling to get the basic necessity at the place like clean bed sheets, clean blanket, hot water, dust-free bed, curtains, zero cockroaches, clean toilette. But we didn't get all of them at any place (Except for one location). It was such nightmarish experience that i have not enough words to explain it.

                                    Next issue was management. Tmi/irctc managers - mr. Alok parma, mr. Ajay sharma, mr. R. N. Singh, mr. Sumit suman (I am not 100% sure if
                                    These are correct names as they didn't have any id with them). These
                                    People are not fit for management. They were rude, careless and were
                                    There just for the name sake. They showcased as if they heard our
                                    Problems, but none of them were capable to resolve even a single of
                                    The issues. Our pleas ended on the deaf ear and we all suffered
                                    Through the trip.

                                    Next issue is itinerary. Since after gangotri, itinerary was changed.
                                    No reason given for the change. We were just told that this is what it
                                    Is, take it or leave it. So we ended up having bad accommodations at
                                    Wrong places and additional journey as they decided to change the
                                    Places which were too far from our destination. It was such a hectic
                                    And harassing experience that i would not recommend to any of my
                                    Family members to do this yatra by irctc.

                                    This is all i have to explain in terms of the issues we faced. I can
                                    Not explain the pain that i felt when all my imagination of a yatra
                                    Which should have been a memorable trip for me till the end of my life
                                    Had turned into such a nightmarish experience that i could not enjoy
                                    It fully.

                                    I request to look into this issue and ensure that these are not repeated. I also expect to be compensated by irctc for putting me through this mental agony which ideally should have been a pleasant yatra.

                                        Dear sir,

                                        I was traveling from Indore to Mumbai with my Uncle and Aunty and their kids, via Avantika express (12962) on 17th Jun 2019.
                                        Around at 10:45 P.M Train has stopped at Godhra station and started after halt of 10-15 min, when train started, train speed was quite slow even in outer area of station, at the same time one guy hanging our coach gate (S7) pull the gold necklace from the neck of my aunty through window and jump from the train and entered in dark area. Necklace valued around Rs. 100000/-
                                        We did the chain pulling and called RPF, there was no RPF in train at that time, later some RPF personnel came from Godhra station and did nothing just knowing the facts of incident.
                                        We requested to rail staff those roaming in train for registering police complaint, all peoples are avoiding to register the complaint then I tweeted to Rail minister and his Official account and rail ministry for asking help. We got some positive responses in twiter.
                                        Police staff reached at baruch station police came to our coach and write the complain in plain paper and told us this complain will be transferred to Godhra police.
                                        Further, we find that our coach is not designed as per railway norms, the gap in our window grill is higher than usual. Thief has took the advantage of slow speed of running train and higher gap in widow grill.
                                        My humble request to you to give justice to me and my family, for this incident the IRCTC administration will be solely responsible, if the gap in widow grill is appropriate then this incident can be prevent.
