I have traveled through indigo from indore to delhi on 23 december with my booking pnr as - n6ftqb and booking named with "pravi chopra"

Now when seating on the aircraft i have placed my handbag carrying laptop on the aircraft cabin above my seat. One of the flight attendant came and placed a bag above my bag, i have told him not to place anything above the bag as it has laptop but he said rudely that he is not placing anything above it. Now when i took out the bag when arrived at delhi i could see a heavy bag placed above my laptop bag and my laptop's screen is broken, i have contacted a air hostess and she said i dont know who was that attendant.

Now when i opened my laptop, its screen is broken as expected because that attendant inspite of telling him placed a heavy bag above mine.
Can you please look into this issue as i am not that rich that i can get a new laptop, i am a working women and working hard to earn money.

I need a support from you guys if you can, else i have to put up this experience on social media because thats the best place to contact anyone online.

We have gone ahead with our investigations with the concerned airport team and staff on duty and have established that no complaint was raised on arrival.

Further, as per our conditions of carriage, a customer who leaves the baggage delivery area without reporting a bag as missing or damaged to an IndiGo representative will be deemed to have received his/her bag correctly and in good condition. As there was no complaint raised on arrival regarding the same, we would not be in a position to initiate any repair or compensation process.

Nevertheless, we have shared your mail as a feedback with the concerned airport teams for further review and to ensure baggage delivery as per the standard practices.

We thank you for sharing your views with us, as it plays a critical role in enhancing quality of our customer service and achieve our goal to exceed customer expectations.

    We had booked tickets to bangalore to mumbai and we reached the airport just ten min late before the board chek in and indigo people refuse to issue the boarding pass though we were at airport 30 min prior but due to car issue couldn’t reach and they have told us to take new tickets which was 37000 rs nothing got adjusted with old tickets.. Same happened with us while coming back but spice jet issued us boarding tickets hence forth bad service given to customer and just looting people very bad experience.

    Looted us by 37000rs by not issuing the boarding pass . They can issue the boarding pass it’s was in their hand but they didn’t . Two more passenger suffered for the same they were old citizen but still indigo people asking them for payment . They would have managed these old couple by adjusting in other flight which they missed very bad experience with indigo airlines

      Our flight (For two passengers) 6e 321 from kolkata to guwahati was scheduled on 12:40 pm, 25th december 2017. We reached the airport more than 1 hour 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. When we reached the counter, we were told they cannot let us board the flight (Also that the flight was full) inspite of prior web checking in and booking our seats. At the counter, one of the staff, sanjib kumar sarkar told us he can give us our boarding passes (Because we web checked-in) if we remove the sharp objects from the luggage. After removing the nailcutter (The only sharp object in our luggage) in a minute or so, the staff told us he cannot give us our boarding passes because we were late by a minute and then went to join his other staffs cutting the christmas cake. He came back saying he can shift us to the last flight 6e 573 scheduled on 19:55 the same day. The flight got delayed to 20:40 and again to 22:40. Christmas is ruined because of indigo. Worst airline staff ever. Never traveling by indigo again.

        Hi,

        I have booked a flight ticket in dec 21, 2017 for travel on dec 30, 2017 from mumbai to jaipur through bigbreaks website.

        Today when i tried to cancel the ticket from bigbreaks site, i could not find any options. So i went to indigo site and there i tried to cancel the ticket. However the website stated that no such pnr is available.

        I was shocked and had no other option but to call indigo directly as i had paid the amount and indigo site stating that the ticket is not available.

        Thankfully mr nitin from indigo confirmed that the pnr is valid, however to my surprise he said cancellation charges of inr 3000 will be applicable.

        I reminded him about recent directive of mr. Jayant sinha, civil aviation minister of india on dec 17, 2017 that airlines cannot charge such high cancellation charges. Mr. Nitin told me the charges are as per policy. I tried to explain him that policy/ terms & condition cannot defer from law of the land but he refused to agree to that. I could only conclude from conversation with him that policy of indigo are over and above the law of india.

        Also to my surprise he refused to transfer the balance money to me and said he will transfer it to agent/website.

        I told him there is no way to reach out to the agency and i am the rightful owner of money but he said we do not know you and agency is source of money.

        I tried contacting bigbrakes through both email and call, however no success.

        I have no clue on how to cancel the ticket and get my money.

        This is resulting into unnecessary mental stress and hassle at my side for no fault of mine. How can a corporate operating in india can refuse to adhere to directive of government of india.

        Also i am scared as if they believe that agency is source of money than is this route being used for money laundering?

          Please note that i have a booking with indigo under the pnr - hbn7wm scheduled from ccu to cjb. The original flight timing were[protected]. This flight has been rescheduled and made delayed by 1 hr 35 mins, also, its preponed by 15 mins to[protected]. I am a student at iim-kohikode and have connecting travel arrangements that depart at 1500 from cjb. My final destination is clt (Calicut). Because of this rescheduling i will not be able to get on with my further arrangements to reach the institute. This travel arrangement was made long back. Further, being a student and operating out of student loan account i cannot afford to pay extra. I have to reach calicut city by 1900. Request you to kindly make suitable arrangements for me in this regard.

            Indigo flight 6e 844 which was scheduled at 9:30am from hyderabad to ranchi has been delayed 3 hours and 30 minutes on december 25th 2017. I am still not sure how long it would take me to finally board my flight today. I have a family event to attend but i think i won't be able to attend it. Does indigo has any additional benefits or facilities available for passengers who are facing inconvenience due flight delays? It would be a customer delight if airline respects passengers valuable time and value for money. I have been a valued indigo customer but today i am sorry to say indigo customer centric ideologies are fading away these days. Hope airlines makes a note of this. Thereafter take corrective measurements for the same.

              My check-in luggage was tagged fragile after my personal request. Though the baggage was tagged fragile, it was mishandled and a glass bottle containing liquor was crushed.. Resulting in entire wastage of the product and damaging the remaining luggage.. The fragile tag was also teared off partially when i received my luggage. I demand immediate response to my complaint and a suitable compensation for the poor service, that i have received. Flight 6e - 118 23/12/2017.. Shardul vinayak gore.

                Dear indigo staff,

                I want to confirm that is this your staff duty to cheat with the customer by giving wrong information to make money.

                As this instance was done with me by your ground staff on 12 dec 17 on 5:08am for my flight 6e 315

                I was reached on airport on 4:00 am in the morning for my flight 6e 315 that was on 5:35am, after reached the airport i received my boarding pass by showen my web checking boarding pass, and i complete the security check within 15 mints, when i ask to the upper floor staff of indigo that door is not getting open to go then he said that it’s too early pls come on 5:20 and again i asked them to confirm that my flight is on 5:35 i have to come on 5:20 or early he confirmed me that sir no problem pls come on 5:20 am to go for boarding, at 5:05 am i walked with my wife to the 9 b gate for boarding, when i asked to the indigo staff who was stand in coridoor by showing my boarding pass to confirm is this same flight then he said that sir final call is going on pls go hurry, when i reached the gate (9b) at 5:08 am, then staff he and she who were standing for boarding sir your are late by one minute and she confirmed my and my wife name and suddenly removed the name from flight without asking any question or confirming anything, after this he said you have to adjust another flight, when i said adjust us in which you want he said pls come with me and he said pls go to that counter which was outside of security check area and that staff of your indigo said that you have to purched another flight for traveling, when i asked why i have to, this is your responsibility to adjust me i was on time and where was my fault, she said you have to take new flight of rs 31313rs which will fly on 2:30pm and after few minut she said it’s full now we have only 4:00 pm flight when i said something would be adjust from my last flight the. She said yes sir 4:00pm flight will be your for 2 passengers for 27000rs after adjusting your 3000rs govt. Tax, is this your service facility to the first flyers???

                At 8:00am when i said to the staff my wife is not well i have to go my home then he said your have to wait in the premises because your bag is in 5:35 am flight 6e 315 which can not be returne so you have to wait at here i want to ask you guyes how can my lagage go in that flight in which i am not traveling??? Confirm me on this urgently.

                After this staff said that you can go to your home pls confirm that you will take your 4 pm flight i said to her that i had paid 27000rs how come i will not take it. Then she said ok pls go without saying that you have any lagage in the airport.

                This is your level for providing service to the first time flyer for making their money by cheating with the passengers.

                Confirm me is this your service or what was done in this incident, if you want to check the camera recording then your can check the 5:08 am recording of your cctv at 9b gate number on 12, dec, 2017 for flight no 6e 315.

                I had already my web checking boarding pass and my lagage was already gone on 5:35am flight 6e 315. How can staff removed my name from flight to adjust another passenger to sale out the ticket on higher amount. That is called cheating by reputed flight company,

                Pls confirm what is your response in this incident, i am waiting for that, provide me the solution for my money.

                With reference to your concern raised, we have investigated the matter and would like to summarize our findings for you.
                You were booked to travel on flight 6E 315 from Delhi To Kochi which was scheduled to depart at 05:35:00 hours on 12th December 2017. As you may be aware, boarding for our flight closes 25 minutes prior to departure. Based on our records, you reported at 05:15:00 hours which is 20 minutes prior to the departure. Since our boarding gates were already closed for your flight, our staff were unable to accept you for the flight.
                At IndiGo, our endeavor is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help you reach your destination, our airport team offered to accommodate you on the next available flight, subject to payment of applicable charges i.e. the difference in fare and re-accommodation charges, which we understand were accepted by you, and you duly travelled to your destination.Therefore, we are not in position to offer any refund in this regard.

                As always, we were happy to have provided assistance to you and would request your understanding in this regard.

                We look forward to serving you on board again.

                  I showed up late for the flight from pune to delhi, i had done the web-checkin before hand, in spite of that, i wasnt allowed to board the flight. I requested the ground staff to send my check-in baggage in the next flight. The ground staff supervisor, miss nupur, escorted me and my family outside the airport without giving any updates. This was very rude and unethical behaviour. I was forced to buy the reaccommodation ticket for the next flight which costed me inr 46k. Please arrange for a refund.

                    Dear sir,
                    This is to bring to your kind notice that 21st dec1-7 i travelled from kolkata to vizag (Via bhubaneshwar) on your air craft no: 6e-512 which was departed at 11.45 am from gate no: 19 from kolkata.
                    I was travelling along with my father who is 82 years old and undergoing treatment with regular medications.
                    While travelling, i had two cabin luggage’s (One black color american touriester stroller bag and another one was a green color duffle bag).
                    While boarding at gate number 19 my father was not feeling well and i was holding him and helping him for boarding on the air craft, observing that, one of the lady ground staff was very kind enough (???) and told me to keep my two luggage’s at the gate (19) and she told me that the luggage’s will be brought by them just after me. Once i entered the air craft and took my seat (11e & 11f), i requested the lady flight attendant to confirm me the loading of my luggage’s, they told me that once the staffs at gate number 19 have assured me that they will get the luggage’s that means they will definitely load it it in the cargo.
                    After landing at the bhubaneshwar again i checked with the flight attendant and they further confirmed me that the kolkata indigo staffs have confirmed them that luggages were loaded in the air craft which i will be receiving at vizag.
                    The flight landed at vizag on time and i was informed that i will get my luggage’s at baggage belt number 1.
                    Accordingly i went to the belt number one with my father and with my biggest surprise i didn’t get my luggage’s there. I had immediately reported the issue to indigo staff at vizag airport and done the pir (I have a snap of the copy).
                    I was told by the staff that they are co-coordinating with kolkata indigo and requested us to go to the place where i had planned to stay at vizag (Hotel novotel) and once they trace out the bags they will immediately inform me and they will also deliver those bags to hotel novotel.
                    The issue is, it’s now more than 48 hours and i am yet get any update regarding the status of bags.
                    I was given two number’s from vizag indigo for follow up ([protected] & [protected]) and names of two staffs of indigo one is mr manikandan and mr suresh. Unfortunately none of them is able to give me any update till now. Though they have promised me that they will update me in one hour or two hours, i am sorry to say that even after 33 hours (Last call i received at arroung 10.30 pm on 22nd dec-17) indigo doesn’t bother to give me a call and update me.
                    In fact in the last call indigo informed me that kolkata indigo staffs have confirmed that they didn’t found any luggages at gate number 19 at kolkata and also the lady staff (Who was on duty on 21st dec-17 during boarding in 6e-512) denied that she had requested me to drop the luggages at the gate number 19. This is really unbelievable.in fact my father was also with me and he also heard that the lady told us to drop the luggage at gate 19 and she also told that thise bags will be carried just after us in the aircraft.

                    As i mentioned, my father is 82 years old and a patient who consumes essential medicines for his well being and all those medicines are in one of those bag. The doctor prescription of appllo hospital which is also there in the bag. My father has spent 2 days without medicines and since the prescription is missing, i am unable to purchase those medicines at vizag. Due to this issue the health of my father is being deteriorating. Indigo airlines claims to be the number one airlines india and i am really surprised for not getting this service in 48 hours of time. You are failing to trace the bags till now.
                    Please note, due to no medication of my father if something wrong happens to him indigo has to take the entire responsibility.
                    I had almost rs 32, 000/- to rs 35, 000/- worth stuff’s in those two bags. If those bags not traced and returned to me indigo has to given compensation of the same amount and for that i will definitely send you legal notice.
                    If your staff of kolkata is now denying that she didn’t request me to drop my luggage’s at gate number 19, then i request to take out the video footage of gate number 19 on 21st dec-17 during the boarding at 6e-512.
                    I request you to do a proper investigation on this and get back to me with a feedback of status of the bags and way of returning the bag to me as soon as possible.

I contacted two times on tele number [protected] but i don't get any positive response from your office, i also mailed in [protected]@goindigo.in on today but no response is received from there also. Please let me know what can i do for refund of excess money deducted by your indigo airlines.

                        I was booked on indigo flight 6e-5126 from mumbai to delhi on 20.12.17 @ 9.30 (Pnr h9w17c), due to an accident suffered on the previous night i was absolutely not in a position to walk and requested wheelchair assistance from the indigo staff and was flatly refused in a very rude manner (Was even told that such assistance has to be requested 48 hrs in advance, as though accidents happen in an elective manner).                           Hello,

                          I booked indigo flight through yatra from chennai to kolkata and back for 27th-28th nov. The yatra ref number is[protected] & pnr tenpxg and i was charged inr 5803 for the to and fro journey.

                          Now i had to cancel my ticket due to an unavoidable situation. The purpose of my journey was to attend the marriage ceremony of a very close friend of mine. Now last week his would be father in law expired which resulted in cancellation of the marriage and likewise i had to cancel my journey owing to this unexpected situation. Now i called airlines (Indigo) directly and explained them the situation and the reason of cancellation. I requested indigo to understand the situation for cancellation and waive the cancellation fees as much as possible. The cancellation ground has been a death which has happened. But they didn't and instead refunded inr 1380 to yatra through which i booked the ticket. Now yatra inturn has also deducted their cancellation charges and i am being refunded only inr 367!!!

                          Now the question is is that i had a situation where in i am being forced to cancel my tickets due to situational conditions and after paying around inr 6000 i am being refunded only some peanuts!!! Is not there any such clauses for both indigo & yatra for emergency situations. Why cancellations charges are so high in case of any valid cancellation and not out of fun!!!

                          I would like to raise complaints for both indigo and yatra for toying around with customer sentiments.

I stand there in indigo counter for new reservation but no body responding to me. As per my knowledge it is a service industry where customer expect help from employee. You were booked to travel on flight 6E- 375 from Bhubaneswar to Mumbai which was scheduled to depart at 08:45 hours on 18th December 2017. As you may be aware, boarding for our flight closes 25 minutes prior to departure. Based on our records, you reported at 08:21 hours which is 24 minutes prior to the departure. Since our boarding gate was already closed for your flight, our staff were unable to accept you for the flight. Moreover, if the booking is not cancelled and also if the passenger is unable to board the flight 25 minutes prior to its scheduled departure time, the complete ticket amount is forfeited as the seat on your original reservation went vacant. Therefore as per policy, you would be entitled to government/airport applicable taxes of passenger service fee and user development fee. Adhering to the above-stated policy, an amount of INR 539 towards no show taxes, has been refunded to the agency account.                               We are the customer if we are don't know anything, that is not important to abuse customer in badly manner, i am always going by flight - bangalore to kolkatta or ranchi every times in indigo.
                              Few days ago banglore airport, i ticket is bangalore to kolkatta, plane - indigo, after reaching the counter nearby no -18, the sound is coming suddenly very loudly manner by the indigo counter no 17, 18, 19, and 20, all counter lady is there conter no 17 lady is abusing very bad langauge to the passenger in front of me, after that, all lady counter like 17, 18, 19 and 20, all ladies not any (Male is not involved), all ladies are abusing very fithy language to passenger in very bad manner, i passeneger lady having only 2 kg more in laggage the lady counter no - 17, 18, 19, and 20, they took more then 15 thousand rupees from so many passenger,
                              I am asking you what kind of services this was they are cheap kind of lady behavior abusing any passenger and asking any amount from passenger, then all ladies having in group and forcingly asking money to passenger in very bad manner and harassing also.
                              Counter no 17 lady is shouting like anything, the matter i am discussing about ingigo counter (Bangalore to kolkata)

                              I am analyst i am always coming by fight only, and this is not a first times indigo (Females are need some politeness and behavior also).

                              Why should females are asking so much money without any reason from passenger, tell me first? Passenger are not # they gave respect to female its doesn't mean they are creating anything about any male and mentioning i am calling to police if they are not gave to money.

                              I am already make a complaint about counter no 17, 18, 19, and 20 counter - ingigo (Bangalore to kolkata) to the nearest police station, this is 17th times females counter is always behaving very bad to any passenger.

                                This is to inform you that i was a passenger from delhi to mumbai via ahmadabad on 31/05/17. The check in bag was having one small imported power bank in discharged condition which was kept unknowingly. During
                                My boarding i was called to security zone by your staff. The small power bank i took out. I was not handed over with the power bank though it it is allowed to carry in my hand baggage, i requested but nothing happened. Course of action taken by me:-

                                A) approached to indigo staff in ahmedabad at 8 am (31/05/17), only given a no to contact to delhi.

                                B) contacted mb no - [protected] in the night of 31/05/17 but the person said it is disposed off.

                                A) sent feedback sms to 566772 on 01/06/17-sympathy call came from the customer care indigo executive madam (Name unknown) at around 10 am and she taken very initiative that she is doing something - but
                                All are for show & formality.

                                D) as per customer care executive directive after 6 hrs i called customer care no-.[protected] & talked to mr. Bhubonesh kumar and mr amin to lodge a complaint.

                                E) next day miss neha could not answer my quarries and connected to mitalli who finally connected to mr. Deep in gurgaon office.

                                F) mr. Deep assured me that he is trying to get back my item contacting to delhi airport and will call me to my no but made me full &wasted my time.

                                The indigo security management to satisfy my questions-
                                Note:-
                                I) the luggage scanning machine was not available in delhi before approaching to boarding pass issue counter whereas mumbai & kolkatta do have. It is not so criminal offence and customer may forget during
                                Packing. Any one does not have authority to destroy any customer item. It should be returned back to the passenger with sufficient proof afterwards with some handling /courier charges (Thus customer mistake should be penalized). Ii) while such small thing is
                                Allowed in hand baggage why not given my item to me.

                                Iii) every passenger/staff is concerned for flight safety but adopting the policy of destroying the customer, s valuable item should not be indigo, s customer care policy.

                                Iv) customer valuable feedback sms sent on 01/06/17 is not suitably answered yet with the acknowledgement of management input.

                                V) my grievance will be uploaded in your web site in customer feedback page for better communication to all your valuable customers

                                Vi) waiting till 17/06/17 to approach to indigo care in delhi by my friend with the original boarding pass to collect my item.

                                Vii) your kind co-operation is required to seek customer right through grievance filing to knock your top management to adopt alternative policy to protect customer, s valuable item in future.

                                  Worst flight service ever my friend was travelling from australia to india he has a connecting flight from delhi to raipur in indigo flights and when he reached to raipur he found that baggage people have stole his stuff from the bag i send lots of expensive stuff and even he had too and they stole everything.                                       They refused to onboard though entered airport at 1.21 pm (Can check cctv). Had to be long in queue to collect boarding pass and finally refused boarding.
                                      Asked for rs51000 for the next flight though it was showing rs13000 online.

                                      A ground staff named 'paramita bora' misbehaved though one of the pessenger was senior citizen. She argued extremely rudely.

                                      They did not did any announcement also. First they lied that they did announcement. When asked to watch CCTV to track presence at the time of announcement, then mentioned the funda of silent zone. However, an sms is supposed to be sent to intimate if this is a silent zone. That was not done. A ground staff named Parmita Bora misbehaved.

Further, if the booking is not cancelled and also if the passengers are unable to check-in 45 minutes prior to its scheduled departure time, the complete ticket amount is forfeited as seats on your original reservation went vacant. Hence, as per policy, you would be entitled to government/airport applicable taxes of passenger service fee and user development fee. Adhering to the above-stated policy, an amount of INR 1, 090 towards no show taxes, comprising of passenger service fee and user development fee under booking reference WED1HG, has already been refunded to the agency account.
