We will often travel in the flight especially in the indigo, today we have arrived banglore airport at 4.30 and we got the boarding pass at 4.40, i have 2 years baby. Today it was too much crowd in the security checking, finally we reached the gate at 5.05, my flight was 5.25. I was keep on checking the screen, it says boarding status. They didn't allow me to board the flight even i requested. I have traveled so many and many times last minute i have entered the gate and they allowed. But today it seems something wrong. Not only around 7 passenger not allowed. Suspecting that the ticket was sold or allocated to the vip. Kindly take necessary action. They didn't give the refund also.

    Hi, i’m traveling from indore to cochin via mumbai, at the baggage check in counter they refused me through check in to kochi and raked my baggage only upto mumbai. My next flight from mumbai is 3 hours later and still the personnel didn’t allow to issue
    Me my second boarding ticket. I am a frequent flyer and no airline has ever told such a clause of ‘forced check in’ till now. My pnr no is z9bjqy. Please look into this error and rectify this issue.

    Further, since two different flights were booked under the given PNR, through check-in of baggage is not possible. The passenger has to collect his baggage at a halt and has to submit same for his next flight.

      Hi, we have a bad experience on 31st dec 2017 in mumbai domestic airport. We r staying in panvel and on that day after travelling 1.30 hrs., we reached mumbai airport at 5.30 am to send my father in law shri. Neelakantan elayath, 85 yrs and smt. Shanta n elayath, 77 yrs to cochin, kerala. Scheduled time of flight was 7.30 am via bangalore. I booked the ticket through yatra.com under their booking ref.[protected]Indigo pnr no. Zjehsx) and spent a total of rs.11486/-. The passengers were not able to walk towards flight due to their old age and hence they were carried in wheel chair on my request. But on security check at the entrance, they were not allowed to go, on the ground that they were carrying only xerox copies of photo identity cards. To my request that they were on wheel chairs and may allow to travel with the xerox copies, security personnel were insisting on for the originals and refused my request. Hence, we were forced to come back and informed of the same to indigo airlines for cancellation and refund of the amount at the airport counter as well as over phone. To which, they flatly refused and informed that i will get only rs.389/- as "no show taxes" amount, thereby i had to incur huge loss of rs.11, 097/- looted by indigo. The same passengers came from cochin to mumbai on 9th november by the same airline and allowed to travel with the same photo copies of photo identity cards from cochin airport. Instead of helping these senior citizens, they were refused to travel by the security personnel and the poor disabled old gays forced to come all the way back.

      Looking into the matter, indigo must have to consider for reimbursement of reasonable amount towards which indigo have refunded only rs.389.00 and taken away the whole balance amount which is unfair.

        I was having my indigo ticket from mumbai to chennai for 21 dec2017 by 6e229 of 6:10 a. M my booking ref number is oyc27c. I reached the airport at 5 a. M all the way from navi mumbai cbd belapur early in the morning, and at the airport i was in passenger quew for luggage drop then finally when my turn came for dropping luggage the lady said sir your bag cant go in this flight because you are late i was shocked and said how early i should come to airport i am in quew and from 5:05 onwards i am here, she said your suitcase is in big size for that we cant send in this flight it will go in next flight but you can go along with small check in baggage, i said ok i don't mind, after keeping me wait for long time she informed i have to pay the difference for 9:30 a. M flight. I was upset i said you only told the above bag cant go where as my bag was my regular suitcase and weight was also 16 kg. Really stupidness i informed please mention my reporting time on the ticket and then i will agree they were not bothered instead of arguing with them i went search of other airline and found spice jet airline and they informed their flight is at 7:30 a. M i asked them is it possible to accommodate me. They said yes off course lot of time is there they asked me the reason i informed them the matter they also certified this is the purely badmaashi of the the check in staff and suggested me to fight or present the case to duty manager, i spoke with duty manager indigo she also took prestige matter and informed luggage cant go without passenger i have to accompany the luggage and till that time they were ready for checking in small size suitcase. Anyway instead of fighting or arguing with those stupid illiterate staffs must be from badmassah family or useless family or might be unhappy with indigo management. I suffered for extra waiting at mumbai airport but lost entire indigo airways ticket amount and also paid high fare of spice jet airways. And first time i found spice jet airways behavior is much much better then indigo airways staff. And in indigo no one intrested in listening passengers problems. Where as at chennai airport pl see the indigo staff behavior it is very very nice we feel like travelling with indigo if it from chennai. I touch my ears and i take oath i wont use indigo airlines flight from mumbai any more in my life time.

        My indigo 6e 275 from CCU to maa was scheduled departure at 1405 on 30 dec flight was delayed by 05 hrs which disturb all my program even I missed my next planned journey. Your customer service manager says she is only responsible to send me Maa .Indigo is not responsible for timing.Then who will pay for my loss.plz help .

          My flight was on 25 dec 2017 and it was on 8:45 am and my pnr no is ydufqz
          And its on 6e-375, i reached at sharp 8:00 am but the staffs there told me that check in time has been exceeded and forced me to buy a ticket for the next flight for which i have to pay 3500 rs more it's just the horrible experience that i have been ever get through. So i[censored] could do anything about it, i will be satisfied to book my next flight in indigo.

We’d like to inform you that as per the policy, the check-in counter at the airport opens 2 hours prior to scheduled departure and closes 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. Boarding gate closes 25 minutes prior to departure at all airports.
          We have also investigated with our airport team and found that you reported late at the counters. Since our check-in counters were already closed for your flight, our staff were unable to accept you on board. At IndiGo, our endeavor is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with intention to help you reach your destination, our airport team offered to accommodate you on the next available flight, subject to additional payment i.e. the difference in fare and re-accommodation charges, which were accepted by you, and you duly traveled to your destination.

          We look forward to your understanding.

            I have booked ticket of indigo flight from bhubaneshwar to delhi for 4.1.2018 in the name of shri bs chauhan through irctc website but indigo flight has been cancelled on that day and time and accordingly the passenger made alternate arrangement to return delhi. On enquiry from indigo officials they said that they have made arrangement on next day flight without consent of passenger and told that no refund will be given at this stage. Since there is no fault of passenger then how the indigo is not returning the money. It is harrassment to passenger and compell to use their flight as per their own conveyance.
            I with my wife and daughter travelled by Indigo flight 6E719 on 30 Dec 17 Pnr JYIJPC and VFTB2A. However on receving luggage on vishakapatnam airport i found one bag in damaged condition due to mishandle. I complain ground staff at visakapatnam airport but they just apolize only.

                On 3rd January evening i received the following email from Marketing GoIndigo In.

                I had booked to travel ​from Haridwar ​to Bangalore by train, the return journey was pending as i was tossing up between returning by train (which i did not relish due to the long journey) or flying back arriving Rishikesh the same day​ instead of 3 days later if travelled by train​. When i received ​Indigo Marketing​ email, the Flexi-ble price and the fact that i could change dates without incurring charges seemed very attractive. I immediately went online and booked a return ticket for 21​st ​Feb a direct flight from Bengaluru to Dehradun on 6E 911 departing at 13.05 hrs and arriving at 16.00​ hrs​. ​The base fare was rupees 4, 088 with Passenger Convenience fee rupees 200, the total fare came to rupees 4, 288/- ​So far so good. Went through all the procedures of giving my debit card details to pay for the e-ticket. After completing my booking i expected an immediate ​confirmation of my booking​As usual I also expect​ed an email booking confirmation and ​an ​e-ticket. Waited for few minutes nothing came through.

                ​At 7 pm ​I​ rang Indigo Customer care no. [protected], [protected]​. First spoke to a lady by the name of Adhira. She was very helpful and after checking called me back on a no. 91+ [protected] which showed up as Dinesh Indigo Aluminium Tube. She told me that my booking is not showing up and asked me to check with my bank if the payment has been released, if it has not then this transaction has not been completed and that I should re-book as the low prices will not be available if I waited longer. Meantime she gave me an temporary PNR no. which I am to quote when calling again.

                ​At 7.29 pm ​I phoned again and this time ​I​ got a Mr. Suvendu Naik who confirmed that ​they have no record of ​my booking and no payment received. ​​

                At 7.31 pm ​I received the below mentioned email from Indigo Marketing stating:

                Dear Bibi,
                We noticed that you didn't complete your booking. Here are the details from your recent search. Go ahead, complete your booking early and get the best price.
                Flight No. 6E 911
                Bengaluru - Dehradun
                21st February
                Remember, prices might change and flights might get filled out fast. So, book now and take off with us. Your trip starts as soon as you check out that cart.
                Complete your booking now

                At 7.45pm i made a second attempt to book and went through the same process. Once again i faced the same problem. Booking completed but no confirmation of PNR or Booking Ref or email e-ticket.

                However from the time of my first attempt at about 6.30 pm and my second attempt at 7.45 pm and the time spent talking to the Call Centre staff the orginal flexi-ble fare had increased to rupees 6, 000 plus. When I re-booked the second time I inadvertently booked myself on the Saver fare for rupees 4, 417. The flight 6E-246 was via Delhi with a stoppage of 40 mins.

                After my second failed attempt I looked at the Caller identity and ​ ​got worried about the identity of the caller. ​I asked myself "​​Why would a reputable airline have a Caller Identity "Dinesh Indigo Aluminium​ ​Tube". Was this some sort of elaborate scam​​. Had i been scammed? Such were my thoughts at 7.45 pm on Wednesday 3 January.

                I phoned again and this time i got Mr Sujan at 7.56 pm. Again i explained my situation. By this time i am besides myself with rage. I felt that Indigo Airline was engaged in unethical marketing practices. Enticing public with attractive schemes but had no intention of allowing the transaction to be completed and thus delaying the booking process as i have described above. In the period of 2 hours the flexi-ble fare had increased from rupees 4, 088 to 6, 000 plus. I did vent my anger at Mr Sujan who was polite and helpful at all the time. I also requested that he record my dissatisfaction with Indigo Airlines' unethical practices and that this be sent to whosoever the person concerned.

                ​After a what must have seemed like an hour Sujan ji to pacify me offered to hold my 2nd booking for 24 hours till 20.45 hrs 4th January. Despite my request that he hold my first flexi-ble fare booking he said he could not as the price had increased. He reiterated that my second booking was a Saver Regular Fare at rupees 4, 417 on flight 6E246, flight leaving at 13.05 via Delhi with 40 mins stoppage and arriving Dehradun at 17.25. He advised that if i should find a flight cheaper than this i should go ahead and book it. The flight he is holding for me will automatically cancel itself at the end of the 24 hours expiry time. The call was disconnected 9 pm as he could not fulfill my request nor did he want to prolong the conversation.

                I felt cheated by Indigo Airline and their covert marketing practices enticing the public and then forcing them to pay a higher fare to fly with them.

                For the third time this evening of 3 Jan i went online to check if there were any flight cheaper than the one being held for me. I found a flight leaving two days earlier than my intended departure date at slightly cheaper fare. I booked it. This time the booking and payment went through without a hitch or glitch. Immediately I received my PNR No., Booking Ref. No. and confirmation email. I was even able to web check-in and reserve a seat and received my e-boarding pass two months ahead. I was surprised that a web check-in was allowed so far ahead. Most of my experiences has been 72 hours the earliest you can web check-in.

                With this Saver fare i don't have the luxury of changing dates of travel at nil cost nor is it a direct flight. It is still via Delhi with a stoppage and fare higher than my original flight plan.

                My experience with Indigo Airlines's marketing tactics enticing public leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. This kind of practices should not be allowed to continue. A reputable airline such as Indigo should ensure that their marketed fares go hand in hand with smooth booking on their website.

                Being a senior citizen i have to be careful with my expenditure hence i travel by train. Train journeys are not always comfortable and it is tedious so sometimes i bite the bullet and allow myself little luxury of travelling by air to save myself the tediousness of long and slow journey by trains.

                I hope a positive action will come out of this complaint.

                  I booked two tickets today 04/01/2018 for 20/02/2018 with details as under:

                  Sagar jain (Delhi to vishakhapatnam) pnr wh6gpa

                  But the gst invoice was not made available. I contacted on[protected] but as told to wait for 30 days for gst invoice. As per guidlines, the airline is required to issue the gst invoice as and when ticket is booked

                  मैंने दिल्ली से गोआ के लिये आने जाने का टिकट goibibo से 31/12/2017 से 4/1/2018 के लिए बुक कराया था ।दिल्ली से गोआ जाते समय सामान का कोई चार्ज नही लिया गया।लेकिन गोआ से दिल्ली जाते समय सामान का 400 रुपया चार्ज किया गया।आपके स्टाफ ने बताया कि goibibo एक बेकार साइट है और गलत जानकारी देती है।आपके स्टाफ ने बहस करते हुए मुझसे चार्ज लिए।मैं पंकज लालअस्सिटेंट कमिश्नर सेल्स टैक्स के पोस्ट पर हूँ आपको बताना है कि गलत साइट को अपना टिकट बुक कराने के लिए क्यों athorised किया है।?जिसकी वजह से मुझे प्रॉब्लम हुई।

                  Thank you for writing to us. As checked your booking was made under Lite fare, hence an amount of INR 400/- has been charged at Airport for adding check-in baggage. As per our Lite fare policy, only hand baggage is allowed, in case any passenger wants to add check-in baggage of maximum 15kgs an amount of INR 200/- will be charged for per passenger per sector.

                    I had booked indigo flight 6e756 for 04/01/2018, 6:45am from delhi to raipur.
                    I had done web checkin and i reached to boarding counter at 6:05 am. But indigo staff did not issue the boarding pass for me. They said i am late. But the flight was delayed by 1/2 hour. But still they didnot allow me to travel.
                    I need refund for my loss. This was highly unethical. Had worst experience with indigo airline.

                    Thank you for writing to IndiGo.

                    With reference to your email, we would like to inform you that, at Indigo, we close the boarding gates 25 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight. This information is also mentioned on the itinerary sent to you and also on the boarding pass.

                    Further, we always try our level best to accept passengers reporting past the scheduled reporting time, however, on 04th January 2018, it was not possible for our staff to accept you at that time as you had reported after the closure of counter for 6E-757 Delhi – Raipur.

                    Apart from accepting a passenger, once the counters are closed the load sheet needs to be amended, headcount has to be changed, baggage (if any) holds also need to be re-opened to accommodate any addition which may further hamper the operations.

                    Moreover, we make every possible effort to minimize such delays and offer our customers an on-time and hassle-free flying experience. Our operations are dependent on various factors which determine our on-time performance like airport infrastructure, runway availability, air traffic etc. These factors can contribute to delays which are beyond our control. Additionally, delays in incoming flights due to weather and/or air traffic congestion also contribute to delays.

                    Moreover, we would also like to mention here that the seat on your original reservation went vacant therefore as per policy you would be entitled for government/airport applicable taxes of passenger service fee and user development fee.

                        1. I flew from delhi to madurai on 22nd dec17 on 6e 859 and i already bought the excess baggage of 20kg for this trip. I traveled with my family of 4 on indigo for all the legs and i spent more than s$3000 for the entire trip from singapore to mumbai, delhi, varanasi, madurai and back to singapore from bangalore. I booked the trip using my ipad and looks like there is a bug in the app.
                        2. The guy checking us at delhi to madurai was very rude and dumped our bags in the conveyor and refused to waive the excess baggage. We are 4-people and we had no hand luggage. We could have avoided excess baggage if we were allowed to carry the hand luggage with us but he refused to take out the bags and give back to us. I paid rs3000 for 10kg excess baggage.
                        3. I booked meals for my family of 4 on return trip from bangalore to singapore by 6e 73 on 30th dec17. But they could not find our names in the manifest. I showed them the total amount paid for 2-trips for meals. They took long time and at the end of the trip asked us if they can serve us food. We obviously refused as we felt humiliated despite paying for the food in full ahead of time.
                        4. My bag was torn though the tear is not big. But the luggage is expensive being american tourister brand. I reported to the agent in singapore and she said there is a disclaimer that small tears are not eligible for compensation.

                        So many issues on indigo for one trip to india and i will not be flying your airline next time even it is cheaper than other airlines. Quite disappointed.

                          I had booked a direct flight from hyd to tvm just few hours ago and it was all ok. Few hours later i am receiving a mail to reschedule my trip since the flight is cancelled and "none of the timing matches to my schedule". Getting money refunded also does not solve the purpose. Now i will have to spend more money to book some other in order to reach at the same time or will have to look for other options.

                          There were other direct flights at the time of booking but i chose to book indigo. Now no other direct flights are available for me to reschedule and i am very much annoyed.

                            I had a flyt on 02.02.2018 indigo flyt (6e 306)_ 16c and 16d. Due to recent trend we are unable to do web checkin as we are only getting middle seats for free and the rest will be chargeable so i am not intrested to pay for that after paying for my ticket charges. Me and my husband got two diffrent seats then i requested one gentleman to exchange his seat with me. While seating i realised that seat cushion foam was not fixed and dislocated, so i called my hostess to help and she responded ma'am this is how all the seats are then i got angry with her response and i repeated my self she answered me same, i answered atlist accept, this is not the way seats should be or any anything els, she quickly gave me some number to call and make a complaint and she did not helped me at all i kept my mouth should i got no answer to give her back. I do fly with indigo and felt bad and understood this is how they train there people, beautiful faces and fake smile will never help your flyers but you need to be good with us. I feel they are so frustrated with there job so they are behaving like this.

                              I have booked a flight ticket for couple from delhi to coimbatore on 20th december, which had been depart on 20th december at 06:24 am and the boarding time was 05:40 am. Unfortunately i was enter the airport on 20 dec. At 5:55 am due to high traffic jam on road. When we came without wasting time i was stand to the line but i saw the shortage of time then i meet indigo crew member and ask to fast check in, she responses me that you are not be able to take flight without any querry to authority from wireless or mobile and give suggestion for take next flight. She sent me to last cabin. I was done the same but when i reached that cabin the cabin incharge said to me that please wait for 15 minutes till my flight not depart. After 15 minutes i went their and ask for him to make ticket, she made a new ticket and charge me 16300 something, i was shocked and so helpless, they take profit of that occasion and taken the money. I have that money for my tour, i am so amberressed by this incident. Kindly do the action against the crew and the flight management.
                              Please note when i was return to coimbatore to delhi on 25 december the flight shedule to depart at 7:00 pm and i attended the airport at 6:32 pm but rather then they responded me well and i was got my flight

Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time.                               As per our policy, check-in counters closes 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. Also, we advise our passengers to reach the airport 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure to avoid any last min hassle. We request for your understanding in this regard.

                                The ladies were standing in the queue from 4:30am and none of your indigo staff announced to bring up the passengers whose flight flies first. Hence when they reached the counter thay said that we are closed and very rudely. The ladies even web-checked in and had their boarding cards, so i dont see why it is a big deal to make them travel.
                                This is actually your staffs fault for not calling earlier flight passengers.
                                And there was no staff either.

                                We were travelling from Hyderabad to Chennai Indigo - 6E872 on 31.12.2017 -22.50 -00.05 flight. We had shown the PNR Details in Mobile, was denied entry and was asked to bring the printout. I checked with the Indigo front office who gave the printout and was permitted. In this world of digitalization, im amused why the mobile sms is not allowed. It is the responsibility of Indigo management to inform the passengers that printout is needed for entry, which was not mentioned anywhere in the mails received by us.There was no signboards on Indigo check-in, had to ask people and went and stand in the queue. I was with my wife and two kids (9 year and 1 year old). I had seen the person in front of me check-in for Chennai. When our turn came, the person told the check-in gates are closed and cannot be checked-in. There was no announcement, no displays. It was as if the gates were closed at the mercy of the front office staff. When we enquired, they behaved so rudely and said we have the go in the next flight with paying 14000/-. There was almost around 45 minutes for the flight to depart. When we told that we have a kid and it is difficult to spend 6 hours in airport and had to excuse on humanitarian grounds, they refused and charged extra Rs.5000/-for me and my wife and waived off for my kid. The higher officer told that it is unfortunate that we had missed the flight, which was not the case. There was atleast 45 minutes for the flight to depart. When we went to the front office, the lady was shouting at us and wantedly delayed giving us tickets. They gave the ticket around 22.35 for the new flight even before my original flight departed.
                                I had pleasant experience in Indigo earlier, and i always prefer indigo flights especially domestic. This experience has made me think twice before i go in any Indigo flights in FUTURE. Indeed i will not travel in Indigo only for my front office experience. This experience has created an impression that Indigo is not having any human value consideration and planning to get extra money based on the situation.

                                I dont know if the management will look into this, if yes, it is important that the front office staffs behaves well with the customers to retain your customers.

                                    I booked a refundable ticket for my parents from hyderabad to
                                    Bangalore and back on 31 dec 17 for travel on 03 march 18

                                    With regards to your request, we would like to mention that as per conditions of carriage, once the booking is confirmed - changes can be done by contacting IndiGo no later than 4 hours for International flights before the scheduled departure time and 2 hours for Domestic flights before the scheduled departure time. Customers can change booking by contacting IndiGo Call Centre, at IndiGo Airport Counters, on the IndiGo website, or through the participating Travel Agent who made the original booking.

                                    IndiGo will charge a fee of INR 3, 500 for International flights and INR 3000 for Domestic flights per Passenger per Sector (inclusive of service tax and cess, if applicable) or equivalent to base currency paid for IndiGo reservation.
                                    Plus any difference in the fare, between the original fare paid and the fare for the revised booking.
                                    Further, in case if the fare is lower than the original fare paid, the difference in fare will be kept as a credit in the customer account which can be used for a new reservation till next 12 months from the date of rescheduling. The same will be reflecting in your account summary as balance. The same can be processed for refund by contacting our call centre.

The staff at booking counter 17 mr abhishek asked me to find out if there was any known person (Relative) travelling with the same flight. So i waited outside of q and after about an hour spotted one such willing traveller. But on approaching mr abhishek he flately declined. Imay ask indigo why at all i was made to wait so long as directed by the said staff if that was of no use.                                       With regards to your request, under PNR Z9RKPV, we would like to inform you that passenger was allowed to carry 15KG of Checked-in baggage, however the passenger was carrying 26 KG of checked in baggage. Hence as per the conditions of carriage, the excess baggage of INR 3600 was charged for 12 KG excess baggage at a rate of INR 300 per KG.
