I had booked a flight from Chennai to Kolkata for the 10th April 09 under the Re1 Fare (Total Fare Rs 2225). The departure time stated was 1655. Later, when i checked the schedule for taking a printout, i found that the timing had been changed to 1945. This disturbed all my onward journey plans. When i talked to the customer call center, i was told that the Airline allows free of cost change in schedule only if the flight timing is changed by more than 3 hours(the change in timing here is 2hr 50min). Now, even changing the flight will be charged Rs 750.
This seems to be an ingenious way by Indigo Airlines to cheat its passengers as they have advertised Re1 tickets and will be charging its passengers Rs750 due to the change.
Surprising that such blatant cheating is going on at Indigo Airlines.

A similar thing happened to me. I was never informed about the change in arrival timings and the airline has the audacity to charge customers for canceling as a result of changes in their flight timings. This is an unfair practice and i hope the greedy airline goes bankrupt soon

    Sir - I booked a ticket for 2 from HYD to BLR for the journey dated 13th March 2009, by Indigo.

    I made the booking on 5th March 2009. However due to some reason i wanted t cancel pr postpone the ticket.
    I was told by Indigo officials that i would be charged Rs 750/- per person for cancellation or postponement(also the difference in amount will charged which is understandable).
    I can't understand why would they charge me Rs 750/- per person for cancellation/postponement.
    When i asked the same to Anand/Aslin from INDIGO customer care(11 Mar 2009 1:00 pm) about the same i was told that it is a penalty for cancellation.
    I think i deserve a better explanation as i am the one who is bearing the brunt from the flight company for having booked a ticket here.

    I would like to book a complaint regarding the same. I think these flight companies are leaving the customers high & dry with no options at all.

    air tickets cancellation — No cash back after cancellation of air tickets which were booked through credit card

    Last month I booked Two air tickets one in Kingfisher airlines another in Indigo airlines through my credit card ,but I cancelled those tickets .But I don't get that cash back in my last months'credit bill,nothing had been mentioned there about that.
    Sir, I have booked Two tickets from Pune to Bangalore on 28.04.09. Due to some avoidable circumstances I am forced to cancel my tickets. I am told that i will be charged rs 750/ per ticket as cancellation charges and the remaining money will go to my credit and not be refunded in cash. This is very unreasonable.
    Charging such heavy amount for cancellation and not refunding the difference in cash is harassment to customers.
    The company should review their policy and refund the amunt with minimum charges.
    Please act quickly.

    There is a directive from DGCA-Directorate General of Civil Aviation which, apart from many other things, state the following:

    1. In Case of cancellation, the amount has to be refunded to the customer credit card(in case of Credit Card Payment) or by Cash in case of cash transaction during booking. They can not simply create a Credit Shell like that.

    2. The airlines have to refund all the taxes or fees and only Base Fare can be deducted. So, if the Base Fare is Rs.500/- and the total amount of ticket is Rs.3000/-, then Rs. 2500/- have to be refunded to the passenger.

    You can still claim for your money. I can help you on this. But you have to contact the airlines and raise a complaint and do mention that you know about this directive.

    I have a ticket for kol-patna-kol for today ie 8th of October 2009. Since 7.30 am today i have been trying to get in touch with your customer care but to my dismay the lines are engaged for the past 2 and half hours. result i am unable to cancel my tickets.     Go Air — flight cancelled by Airline after booking

    Dear Sir

    I had booked a go Air ticket Delhi to mumbai on 30th. March 2010. through Cleartrip.com. Trip ID [protected] Date of issue 08:58 PM, March 04, 2010. Now I received a SMS from Go air saying the flight cancelled and if I do not call their call no, then they would autometically refund my money.

    When a consumer cancels a ticket, cleartrip charges Rs.250 as cancellation, and Go air charges about Rs.750. but when the Airline cancels the ticket, dont they have to offer compensation to consumer. I lost on time and have to pay excess fare on the flights available now. So cant I hold the company responsible for it. kindly advice

    I agree with you. This is wrong way of robbbing the passengers as they wont be having any choice at that moment.

    The government should take some strignent actions against these things.

    They can charge a minimal amount of Rs 200 or Rs 300 but Rs 750 is really a ridiculous demand.

    The only reason I could understand is that if they wouldn't keep a higher cancellation charge, people would go on booking tickets in unplanned way condisering the lesser cancellation charge and at the end the airlines will lose money.

    But still i feel there should be some customer friendly solution for this.

    Indigo Cancellation rules:

    Once a booking is made, the basic fare and all IndiGo surcharges paid are refundable, subject to change or cancellation rules. If you do not check in for a flight at least 45 minutes prior to its scheduled departure time, you will forfeit this total amount. You are, however, entitled to a refund of the Government of India PSF amount and the UDF if applicable.



    However, IndiGo allows cancellations or changes to be made subject to the following:

    •Changes/Cancellations to booking must be made at least two hours prior to scheduled departure time in the booking.

    •IndiGo charges a fee of Rs. 750 per passenger per sector for making changes/cancellations. This fee will be deducted from the total clubbed amount of the basic fare and IndiGo surcharges, and the remainder is refundable to you (in the case of cancellation) or is applied to your changed booking (in the case of a change).

    •IndiGo does not allow name changes to a booking already made.

    In the case of changes to a booking already made, the residual amount (i.e., after the deduction of the Rs 750 per passenger per sector fee mentioned above) will be applied to the changed itinerary. Changes to the itinerary will be made at prevailing prices at the time of the change. If the residual amount is less than the price of the changed itinerary, the customer will be required to pay the difference.
    In the case of a changed itinerary where the residual amount is greater than the price of the new itinerary, or in the case of a cancellation of a booking already made, a Customer will receive the balance amount (i.e., after the deduction of the Rs 750 per passenger per sector fee mentioned above and the cost of the new itinerary, if applicable)as a refund or, at the option of the Customer, credit in the Customer's name, which can be used for future travel on IndiGo for up to "one year" from the date of the cancellation.



    In case the customer desires, refunds against the residual value after deduction of the applicable fee, will be made available as per the following:

    •For bookings made through credit cards, the refund will be processed back to the credit card.
    •For bookings made through travel agents or online travel portals, the refund may be claimed from the respective travel agents/ portals.
    •For bookings made by cash at the airport, the refund will be processed at the respective airport.

    Please note that IndiGo bookings are not transferable. If someone other than the customer entitled to be carried thereunder attempts to travel, or to obtain a credit or a refund in connection therewith, IndiGo shall not be liable to the customer so entitled if in good faith it provides carriage or makes a refund to the said person.

    INDIGO AIRLINES — fairer charging policy

    dear sir,
    i booked round tickets from del-kolkatta for 24 dec ,2011 return on 30 dec 2011 & booked on 28/10/2011 online with fare 15836/-.my booking reference is AJLLEQ .to my great surprise,i checked today with changed outgoing flight,fare is 12836/-.how can it be so?it means booking at earlier date is wrong.you can not charge more on booking earlier.their is need to refund this extra charge
    All low cost airlines charge rescheduling or cancellation charge. It is a source to make money. It is clearly specified in booking terms so you can't complaint that they charged 750 INR. If you want free rescheduling or cancellation, book on an expensive airline where they already charge everything in base fare.
    i have cancelled my indigo ticket 1 month back!! but i didnot get my money back till now
    I cancelled my wife Mrs Sumana Dhar Indigo fight ticket on the 14th September 2010 vide Indigo Cancellation advice Number G7BPCI and after cancellation charge Rs.750/- they advised me that the total credit is Rs.1889/- but till date I have not received the refund. Since the amount is debited from my account through INB, why they are are not crediting back the amount to my account instead of putting stipulations that the amount can be used to purchase future flights with Indigo and that should be availed within 365 days. They also not advised how it can be adjusted while booking on line ticket in their web site. It is more than 2 years I have send several compaints to them but there is no response nor I get the refund. Can you just help us in getting refund of the amount. Kindly also take up the isssue why they are not crediting the refunded amount to the account or the credit card from whre fund is paid while buying the ticket. H.K.     I've booked a ticket for my daughter from Trivandrum to Dubai. But due to personal reasons, the date postponed twice. At first they charged Rs. 1850/- as penalty and I paid the same along with the difference in fair. second time they charged me Rs. 3700/- I never cancelled the ticket but only changed the date. It is a kind of robbing to charge two fold of cancellation fee for a date change. Government has to take steps to stop this kind of robbery.
    Do preponement of a ticket also attract penalty charges ?

    Dear Sir,

    I need clarification for the below.

    1) If a flight gets cancelled or delayed due to airline fault will I get a full refund or get another flight booked without paying fare difference of the same airline or different airline.

    2) I have booked a round trip and the onward flight is cancelled/delayed due to airline fault and due to which I am not able to attend my meeting at destination so i need to cancel the return journey. What happens in this case. Will i get refund for the return trip also in case of same airline or different airline.

    I have booked 4 tickets thru Make my Trip from Chennai to Trivandrum which cost me Rs. 11, 300/- . Due to unforeseen circumstances I have cancelled the tickets and I got only 1200 as refund. The cancellation is done 4 days before departure on 05/18. I enquired Air India also. They said the cancellation fee is Rs.2000/- per ticket. The cancellation fee is too much. Pls. look into this immediately. Max 30% is reasonable.

    The cancellation charges per passenger is 3000/- which is very high. Even the rescheduling charges is 2500/- per passenger. I don't know why ministry of civil aviation doesnt take any steps to curve such mal practices by airline companies.

      I had called up the Airlines now to cancel and refund me the ticket as any airlines cancel if its 2 hrs delayed.
      They had denied to pay the refund and was continously arguing, they had mentioned I can take legal action and they are not affected by it.Kindly solve it.

It is the attitude and spirit that is reflected by the stand that you have taken in replying in a routine fashion which not only smacks o[censored]ltra red tapism of your esteemed concern but also shows extreme lack of concern towards bonafide registered customers. Your highhandedness in dealing with a genuine grievance (if at all you are sensitive to the issue regarding passing on benefits to your customers) is srongly deplorable and rather unfortunate.

        In fact, I got a taste of your attitude, when your below-mentioned customer relations officer had the cheek to mention "if we had raised the surcharge by Rs. 1000.00 would you be willing to pay?" My question is whether this is your official stand too? If yes, you can yourself imagine how insensitive and rude you can be to a customer of yours.

        Initially I was making a humble request to you albeit a genuine one. Now I demand the following :---

        1. Explanations from you for such comment from your customer relations officer, which is thoroughly unprofessional against customer governance.
        2. Immediately refund the excess amount of fuel surcharge you had realised from me, which was reduced subsequently and I am well within my rights to get the benefit passed on to me.
        3. Your contention "when you made the booking, you got the best fare available then" is absolutely not tenable, as you too have enjoyed the funds from that date and it is a mutually benefitial arrangement and you are bound to pass on any benefit to a customer, as per the law of natural justice.
        4. Further, if your actual motive is good / excellent customer service, you have no business to charge more on upwardly revision of fare too.
        5. Under no circumstances, I can be penalised for purchasing my tickets in advance and you have no business to do so. In one hand you are harping on for being 'early birds' and thereby ensuring capacity utilisation and in the other hand you are penalising for advance purchase, which is simply NOT done.
        6. As it is a non-refundable ticket (which has been made per-force) if terms and conditions of travel is changed either you shall have to offer full refundability or pass on the benefit to the customer, without fail.

        Further, any lapse in proper response to this mail shall be deemed as customer dis-service and shall be dealt with accordingly. I hope that you shall rise to the occasion and not force me to escalate the issue to other authorities.

        tarun travel — e tic booking

        respected sir myself shamsher chauhan i have taken the railways licence through smart shop and they asls provide me their own softwere

        there was an incident happen that on 22/11/2008through smartshop i was tring to book a tic of 27/11/08 tatkal from BCT ---->> NLDS and than i got a error massage that unble to retrive due to communication error than after that i have got my tic through irctc site but after 3 minitues i have got a call that my tic was also booked from their side also but if they have first show any error haw can tay book the tic without my permission
        and when i have tried to contact them every time they have told me that i should call tham .

        sir, as we all know that tatkal tic are very sensitive and avlable for short duration so if i will gone for cll back requse it might be happen that the tic are not avlable so pls try to understad my problem and pls take proper action on smartshop

        defence — No boarding due to Excess booking

        I was travelling to my native calicut for an important function and had booked an online confirmed ticket on IC 657 for 09th May. However after reacing the airport well in time at 0820 hrs I found the check in line moving very very slowly and finally it was closed at 0915 hrs. I along with a few other passeners kept waiting in dilemma and after repeated enquiry were informed that there was no room in the flight as it was overbooked. Finally they offered as other flights to Coimbature and Calicut. My flight to Calicut was in the evening from the international airport and after all the trouble I reached my place after the function was over.I am really surprised that such a reputed airline can make such mistakes.Being in the govt service I thougt it was my duty to first check Indian airline/air India before cecking for other available flights but this incident has really put me off and would think twice before booking a ticket with air india next time.

        I took corporate Kol -Gou tickets for 18th & 19th Sept2009. However, on return flight (Seat 2F) I was not treated as a corporate customer despite my reminding to crew incharge.         I would like to draw your kind attention for solving my problem that arises yesterday during my security check in. I lay down the facts before you in details undernith.

        That sir, I was an Indigo-airways passenger in flight no 360 dated 28.01.2010 vide ticket no[protected] whose booking reference is stated above.

        That sir, my destination was from Kolkata to Agartala at 12.40 hrs.

        That sir, in due time I took my boarding pass from the counter & stood in que for security check.

        That sir, there was a long que in the security counter seeing that I requested Sequrity personels repetedly to allow me to go inside early but they didn't allow me.

        That sir, during that period I received a call from Indigo officials that where I was? I told them I was in the que for Gate no 2 but they unable to recognise me & disconnect the phone.

        That sir, finally completing my security check I entered into the security room & call back in that no from where I received the call.

        That sir, security officer of gate no 2 also talked with that person but the officiating person told me that I was missed the flight & there is no way to get enter into the flight.

        That sir, I came out from security room & gone to the Indigo counter to enquerd the matter that was happened with me. Returned me my baggeges they snatched my boarding pass from my hand telling me that its for security reason & refused to return me back the same.

        That sir, I then tried hard to met with higher officials but unable to met anyone.

        That sir, then I met with Airport manager & told him the fact briefly. Hearing all he wrote a request letter to Manager Indigo, stating him to revalidated my ticket but no one heared me.

        That sir, failed to meet with any Indigo high officials I returned back to A/P manager again hearing me ultimately he arranged a ticket in Air India-airways for Kolkata-Agartala & advised me to sent a written complain to Indigo customer care regardin that untowards happening.

        That sir, this is the fact for which I faced lots of trouble only due to non cooperation of the staffs of Indigo airways & became very disappointed.

        Now Sir, I request you please enquier the matter codially and take nescessary action thus I can get back my ticket fare in full & also ensure me that such type o[censored]nwanted situation will not arises in future. If you do not take the matter seriously you will bound me to take the matter in consumer forum.

        INDIGO AIRLINES — Unprofessional attitude and information not on time

        I booked a ticket PNR no G6JHAA with Indigo airlines on 13th July for 20th August New Delhi to Ahmadabad flight 6E 153 t 3PM form Delhi. I got a call on 6.30 pm on 19th August that my flight is canceled and i was asked to board another flight at 7.30 am on 20th august. When i called their customer care and asked them that i cant board the 7 am flight as i was traveling and could reach delhi only by 9 am then they suggested me that they cant do anything. I asked them that they should have informed me about it earlier so that i could have planned again then they said they tried but couldn't connect. What a lame excuse? how hard it is to call a customer on his cell phone number? Then they asked me to either get refund or they will get me a ticket for next day flight at 3 pm. I told them that its not my fault so they should arrange for my travel but they didn't do anything. I was so irritated with their excuses and explanations that i asked them that i cant board the flight at 7 am next day so do what they want to do...As i was traveling i had some network problem with my phone so couldn't connect again. And when i called them in the morning they told me that they had already put a NO SHOW against my name and they will not reschedule or refund my ticket. Now this is a proper example of cheating the customers.they don't give information in advance and then ask consumers to do whatever they want.

        Delhi Metro TICKET — Excess Charge to me

        I travelled in Delhi metro on DT 02-10-10 from Vidhansabha to Malviya Nagar . The Actual charges for this trip is near 17 or 18 rs . Due to metro's reaosn , I was late for changing one metro to another merto , any finally they charge me 28 rs .

        I was so busy so i was not able to discuss with him . In this evenng they told me you was was punching your card with big diffrence timing so we are chagring this fund to you . My colegious with same travelling with me with TOken , they how he trvelling in same 19 rs .

        He made the booking by paying through his credit card in Perth Australia and sent me a mail that the tickets are booked and you can go hassle free. i also got a sms in my mobile number [protected] from Ingo people that my flights are confirmed and I should board 45 minutes before blaw blaw blaw...


        When I reached at Lucknow airport and approached the Indigo check-in counter I was shocked with the behavior of the counter clerk. She bluntly asked me as to how this ticket has been paid, who has paid, when has it been paid, what is the credit card number, which credit card is it. and tell me the last three digits of credit card.

        To my shock she also told me that if I am not able to tell her the detail she will not allow me to board the plan and will not give me the boarding pass..

        Fortunately I had mobile phone and number of my son. I had no option but to make international call to my son and to satisfy the query of the counter clerk. The she issued the boarding pass. It took me more than 40 minutes with my family and children to remain hanging and frustrated with the policing behaviour of your counter clerk.

        This according to me is a harassment and deficiency of service according to "Consumer Protection Act 1986". The airline never informed me about these information. The airline should have confirmed from its own computer whether the payments have been made or not. The airline after issuing the ticket cannot hold me or reject boarding pass unless they have any security reasons or otherwise to reject me.

        In case if I had not carried the mobile phone or my son was not available on phone then my family would have had to come back home.

        This gives me very shocking and disgusting experience from your airline. I would like to hear from you as to why this has happened within next 30 days failing which I will be forced to take the matter to redressal under the law of the land.

        An highly irresponsible and unacceptable behavior set by the Indigo customer care representatives. I called customer care for the ticket cancellation(DEL to BLR) flight and they confirmed me over the phone that they have cancelled the ticket but at the day of ticket i got the message to board the filght and i have called again at the customer care and they told me that ticket has not yet cancelled.Both the time customer care representative said me that they are facing server issues hence unable to send the ticket cancellation confirmation message.

        I don't understand that after giving clear instruction to the representative why they had provided me wrong information and why they were unable to cancel the ticket.

        I was travelling by Indigo airlines today(10th Nov'13) from Jaipur to Mumbai (Flight 6E 214) and when I received my strolly suitcase in Mumbai the top was completely missing and the strolly was damaged indicating that it had been handled roughly.
        The airport staff of Indigo was totally unhelpful in Mumbai airport and now I can't use my suitcase strolly as it has been totally damaged.

        I have a complaint against indigo domestic airline supervisor miss sunita.. I had a flight to mumbai on 8th december 2013 at 9:30 .Indigo has a single counter for all airlines.. And i was standing in the queue 1 hour before the flight timings. The queue was long and i asked one of their staff that i am getting late for check in.. He said that dont worry be in queue you will be able to check in. I reached the check in counter 10 minutes to 9.. And the supervisor told me that boarding is closed. Just a person before me was allowed to enter the same flight telling he is a staff. And i told the supervisor that she can check the cameras and my time of entering the queue.. But she was so indecent to attend me as a costumer. She was on phone and least bothered to attend me. Very poor staff. And she dint let me board.         I am travelling by 6E494 from delhi to patna tom marrow ie 11th dec 2013. The PNR no is x48qgf .The schedule time mentioned in ticket booked thru make my trip was 8:15 am departure. But when I did my web check I found that schedule time of departure was mentioned as 10:15am instead of 8:15 am .         Disappointed with Indigo's Quality of Customer Service

        Hello,
        I have been a regular and loyal Indigo passenger and I am thoroughly disappointed at the way I and my case has been handled so far.

        I flew Indigo Flight No- 6E 552 (My PNR No-Q35ZSL) on December 09, 2013 from Bhubaneswar to Mumbai. I had an International flight to Toronto (British Airways) in late hours the same night

        Since I had excess baggage (over 15 Kgs) I called up the Indigo customer care center on 9th December at 7:40am to book for excess baggage. The customer care executive on the other end informed me that if I have an international flight with in 24 hours of flying then I need not pay for excess baggage. He himself suggested upon sharing my onward international flight details that I have a British Airways Flight which allows me 2 baggages of 23+23 kgs each. And since my baggage was way less than that I do not need to book any excess baggage any further. All I needed to do was to show my International Flight itinerary at the Indigo Counter in Bhubaneswar Airport while dropping off my check-in luggage.

        Upon arrival at the Indigo Counter in Bhubaneswar Airport when I showed my International Flight itinerary along with my Indigo Flight details I was told that no such policy exists and that I need to pay for excess baggage. Even after repeated requests and my willingness to pay for excess baggage well in advance I was tormented and had to undergo a lot of stress and embarrassment of being pulled out of the queue and made to wait for a long time almost till the boarding announcements for my flight were made. After all this an Indido representative who works in Bhubaneswar Airport (named- Ankita) came to assist me. She called up the customer care executive over phone (named- Ashutosh) again to clarify.

        Ashutosh after a lot of discussion suggested that I pay excess baggage (Rs. 2000) at the moment considering that the boarding for my flight to Mumbai was to begin shortly and that he would take the responsibility to go back and check the records (telephone call recordings) and will refund back my money with in 2 days and will keep me informed about it the same day. I looking at the paucity of time and pressure of the situation decided to immediately pay Rs. 2000 trusting that my case shall be taken up immediately and settled.

        Its the third day today and no one from Indigo have either called me or send me an email with regards to what is my status. I demand an immediate repayment of my money which I should not have been made to pay in the 1st place. This is really unacceptable that Indigo does not care about its loyal clients and encourages such a carefree behaviour. Also what surprises me is the inconsistency of policy where one representative says one thing while the other is completely ignorant of such a policy or denies it.

        I demand an immediate settlement of my case with a clarification of the policy so that no other passenger suffers like I did.

        Upon confirmation of a seat on a flight you send a message (sms) with inadequate and incomplete information.
        That is without the PAX name and the airport security scowl at the pax when it is shown at the entry. They either chase the pax to show the full ticket in laptop or ipad or ask them to get hard copy from your kiosk who charge Rs 100 per sheet which less than 1 Rupee.
        On one hand all cry to save paper and save tree and ecology on the other hand you depend on the ERP guys who never apply their mind except spilling the site with data given to them.

        One led to other i was forced go round in vicious circle that your people telling me SMS is sufficient and the CISF telling that it is in complete without name.

        Kindly add name also in the SMS alert such that there is no hassle and repetition of work.

        The cabin crew Hostess services are very poor. Not bothered to offer Breakfast. Not bothered to ask any need of a passenger. I have to ask 4 to 5 times for a cup of water to take medicine. Nothing is available with you sugar less. Atlast I asked for a coffee, you don't have coffee without sugar. She offered me a black coffee, which is nothing but a hot water with coffee flavour. When asked for SUGAR FREE, SWEET n LOW, she refused that nothing is available like this request. I AM SHOCKED TO TELL YOU PEOPLE, IN INDIA MORE THEN 60% . IS NOT WITH DIABETICS. How come you don't have a basic need of sugar free coffee/or break fast at 7 AM. To take this fight, passengers should leave home by 5 AM. A sugar patient without such non availability of services will suffer very badly. More then that your hostess have no basic etiquette to help. I travelled morethen 100 times in Indigo, I nver get such bad services and non availability of breakfast items. Disappointed with your efficiency levels.         I am Commander Damodaran TV (Retd) and had made a journey from Chandigarh to Calicut on 12 October by flight 6E463, seat no 14C, PNR No AJFTFSR. The total nubmer of passengers in the flight booking were 4 nos. There are 2 issues which need to be addressed.

        1. Excess baggage. We had weighed the luggage at home. It wes 61 KGs. How ever, the at the check in the Indigo executive told that it is 63 Kgs and charged me Rs 750.00 vide their receipt no [protected]. The check in executive gave only one boarding pass ie from Chandigarh to Mumbai. The boarding pass from Mumbai to Calicut was not issued. We noticed this after the security check in. So we told the security and he canceled the boarding pass. I again went to the check in and got new boarding passes issued for both the sectors. these were avoidable problems had the executive been trained properly. He was very prompt tin collecting excess baggage of 3 kgs, which works out 750 gms per passenger. My request to waive off that amount fell on deaf years. He should have been slightly magnanimous considering the negligible weight of 750 gms/passenger. Since the luggage was not booked form Chandigarh to Calicut, we had to collect the luggage at Mumbai. When we went to the check in we found that the luggage was only 61 kgs and we were told to proceed. I explained the whole thing to the Indigo Manager. He told me to make a complaint for further action. I would request you to investigate and refund the amount.

        2. While we booked the flight ticket, we had indicated NV as our menu preference. how ever the air hostess told us that there is a shortage of NV meals and served us 2 NV and 2 veg meals. The NV meals were sold to the current meals ordered passengers. why this goo[censored]p please? Kindly look in to this and revert.

        Dear Indigo team,
        I was your traveller in flight 6E 495 on 23 Jan 2016. My flight departure was at 8:30 am. Although I reached airport at 6:45, but due to huge volume of passengers and long Que in boarding counter, I couldn't able to get my boarding pass on time. Then one of your employee Ms.Ekta Ahuja (emp code - 17676) contacted and helped me in getting boarding pass.Moreover she had to convince her seniors, officials to get my boarding pass. She handled all the furious passengers with a calm and smile on her face.Even after getting the boarding pass, I couldtn able to clear security and board the flight, I contacted the indigo ground crew manager, she told me that I can board next flight and my luggage will be retrieved and send along with me in next flight and asked me to wait for half an hour to get new boarding pass.she also updated the comment under my previous flight boarding sequence number.Unfortunately she went to attend some meeting and I started contacting other employees from indigo.Everybody was sending me to one counter to another and no one was listening my case properly and no one was sagacious and calm to listen and check what comments the manager wrote for my case.so I lost track of my luggage and no update on whether I will be able to board next flight or not. Once again Ekta came to my rescue, she saw me struggling hard at various counters and in problem. She came to me spoke to me about the issue, again she handled it to efficiently and explain very properly the whole process. She also promised to help me even after if her shifts get over.
        Before ekta, I decided that not to fly with indigo ever in my life, but ekta changed this view of me and I am sure that till the time employees like ekta are still working with indigo, Indigo will achieve high success in customer satisfaction. She was like an angel for me on this day.

        I am very impressed by you service since i started to travel in IndiGo but this is first time i was totally disappoint by your service. I and my spouse(Kavita Mallik) travel today from 6E-31 from Delhi to Kathmandu but your help desk totally misguided us.

        One of the Top Doctor from AIIMS, New Delhi Prof. Dr. Shishir Rastogi told and suggest that, my spouse is totally safe to travel in Airlines but Mr. Sandeep and two ladies staff are ignoring his decision of Dr. Rastogi and called Mr. Umashankar, that seems not as a doctor but that Mr. Umashankar comes and treat as Doctor. I also request both of them and also mention all the x-rays and prescriptions of Dr. who operate her in 12 Dec 2015 but there is no value of such senior Dr. recommendation. He firstly said that this is ok to travel but due to force of Mr. Sandeep, the staff give the slip/money receipt of IRs. 5000/- for airlifting.

        ​Your slogan is totaly mismatched with this incident. The traveler who have insufficient money thus S/he can travel in IndiGo and also due to good service, is it kind of service we assume for future? Is it fare to cheat your regular customer? if yes then no problem!!!. I already mail in claim department, indigo group and finally you people for support. I wish good and quick respond from your side and also request for fire the person (Mr. Sandeep) who duty at 9:30 AM in IGI Airport T-3 for sector of Delhi -Kathmandu. Also i want to know why you people are not clear the customre, when S/he booked the ticket and request for wheel chair?         I am K. Suresh. My PNR: J3NIGL, travelled from TRV to BBI Via HYD by Flt No. 6E 315 and 6E 264 on 20/02/2016. I had a baggage booked of approx 10 kg weight, the tag number is SEQ-0046 [protected]. When I collected my baggage at BBI I found my handle and lock of my baggage broken, I showed it to the indigo staff on duty at the airport near baggage collection, she advised me to lodged a complaint on line further she took the photo of the tag and damaged portion. Further she told that it was damaged shown when booked at TRV, I replied that there was no damage neither the staff brought to my notice while booking nor any signature obtained in this regard. Kindly investigate the matter and pay me the repair charge of Rs 650/- remitted to my account number in which my ticket is booked or send bank draft to my home address. An early action is requested.

        I had booked the above tickets through your Airline for my family. Due to unrest in Haryana (JAT Agitation) during this period, we coud not reach the Airport. Though I tried our level best to reach IGI Airport Delhi but could not. I re-scheduled our dates of journey from above to 23 Feb 16. Again we could not reach the Airport and were not able to pay the supposed re-scheduling charges. In the end, I had to cancel the bookings as there was no improvement in conditions of Haryana.         I have booked 3 Pax tickets on 07/02/16 by indigo airlines on urgent basis, 2 from Delhi to Mumbai by 6E 169 ( Syed Qayam Raza+Hina Sayyed) Reference Number N6EWB3KMW one ( Syed Mahendi Raza) from Delhi to Mumbai Reference Number N6ES5SLQ1, using my HDFC bank credit card [protected] through smartbuy mobile apps as my uncle was very much serious at Mumbai so these tickets were booked on the same day and costed high. I am a frequent traveler of the indigo and have traveled at least more than 20 times through my bank or personally . I have booked my ticket from Varanasi to Mumbai by jet and then to Mumbai by indigo 6E 129 at 5.55 but in changing terminal from T3 to T1 i was late by 5 minutes before departure which was intimated to your customer care Gurgaon by me only before I repeatedly requested your staff to permit me to board the flight but they did not allow me then i again i requested to get next flight which was there after 30 minutes and seen your staff providing reservation to other passengers as the seats were vacant in that flight . i imploringly told the ground staff to accommodate me in the next flight at 6.30 but they did not allow me .they have only allowed me to take a flight at 10.30 after taking 5543 with PNR no S5SLQ1 which shocked me in spite of the fact i told them that i am their frequent traveler . Now I request to look into this incident which shocked me badly and gave a negative impression about the services of the airlines which i used to prefer for my travel.         I was shocked to the behavior, I faced at X-Ray counter, when I was told that “ as per airlines system no helper at X-Ray counter will be provided. i.e. I have to get X-Ray done, of check in baggage, loading & unloading.

        I am a senior citizen have gone through Major Surgery. I am not supposed to lift weight, in such case what such passenger is supposed to do?

        Bring a helper with him or avoid air travelling.

        Also at the time booking through web. This message should be there in bold letters. So that every Senior Citizen, or every carrying Mother should know your system before preparing for travelling with your airlines.

        Dear Sir,
        I had booked the tickets through Indigo website from Ahmedabad to Mumbai on 10th May 2017 and my PNR number is L7Z8NY for the sector. I tried web booking well in advance but seen No standard seats available and for few seats there is a charges in the name of premium seat, when we book ticket, it is airline to provide us seat and cannot charge. It seems flight over booked and they blocked seats intentionally. I missed my flight though I reached 50 minutes before but the staff tried to argued and subsequently I was told counter is closed. I missed my flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai and connected flight from Mumbai to Nagpur at 15.50 by Jet Airways. This is purely unethical and unprofessional way by Indigo Airlines and how one can charge us for the seats ? Since I book my ticket, it is airline to provide me seats whether web or physically check in but cannot charge. I spent full ticket charges and Rs. 8211 for rescheduling my Jet Airways flight. Kindly I can provide you all evidences and this Airline should be banned for seat selection charges. I am even going to court for my charges and the day I wasted and spent huge charges .           Hi,
          I am writing this mail to inform you about the trauma i had to go through due to Indigo. This was my very first flight experience in my whole life as I was flying for the very first time. I booked an indigo flight from Delhi to Goa (6E - 181) with PNR No. BZ3SBB, which was scheduled to depart at 9:15 AM on 05/12/2008. When I reached the counter with my wife at 08:55 we were told that we are too late and they cannot accept passengers. To our surprise the lady at the Boarding pass counter was extremely cold. Then we spoke to the Indigo Supervisor (Lady) who was having a Walky-Talky in her hand. She had the wrong and very arrogant attitude & did not know the basics of customer service. She told us that they cannot help us and the money will not be refunded. We too have seen cases & have heard of cases from my father who too is working at IGI airport as Duty Officer. If any celebrity would have been in my place & would have come 10 mins back also, then the airline staff cater them. But the attitude of that lady supervisor was not at all helping, rather was very arrogant & adamant in checking the possibility of boarding us on plain. We kept on requesting to them & cribbing in front of that lady supervisor that it was time for the flight to take off.
          We spoke with Eezigoo from where we have booked the tickets, but no signs of relief. We were asked to get in touch with indigo. If this is how it goes then why should one ever book a ticket through Eezigoo and not go directly to the airlines??? Eezigoo asked us to get in touch with indigo and vise versa; it is just a vicious circle.
          First of all no announcement were made as we were sitting exactly in front of the Indigo booking counter from last 30mins & were checking the On-screen flight information on the LCDs, where it was mentioned as Security Check. I went to the counter when the LCD display showed " Pls board the flight or Kripya Prasthan Kijiye". NO announcements were made at all. Although other airlines were announcing for their flights. since we were half an hour earlier than the flight's actual departing time, we should have been offered another ticket for the next flight or a refund should have been given. Thirdly the unwillingness to help from indigo really put us off not to mention the trauma of not being able to be board my 1st flight.
          We went ahead and booked another tickets through Go Air which costed us another heavy amount. This was our first encounter with indigo and I will ensure I mention this to every single person I can.
          We not only lost approximately rs 11500 but the amount of trauma that we had to go through is priceless. Thanks to all the miscommunication & pathetic service. I would never ever recommend to go for an Indigo Flight.
          Indigo's advertising line is the coolest airline in India in my case it's been a complete disaster and ridiculously handled. I am sure this is a way for the budget airlines to earn money. They must have given the ticket on a higher price to someone else.

          Every Airline service clearly mentiones the fact that check in closes at 30 mins before the departure time. Plus during times like these when the security is at stake...one ought to be more careful.
          though the airling should have sent u a message about reporting the Airport 90 min before departure due to additional security checks. I have been flying Indigo for 2 years now and am very happy with the assistance extended.
          I am unsure of the reason for the cold shoulder by the ground staff, I strongly oppose it too. i feel even you were at fault by not keeping the airline in the loop that you will be delayed to check in.

          Im sorry for the bad experience. But im sure the holiday at goa shall wipe away the sour memories.

          I soma sinha, booked a flight (6E277) with PNR No- X28HLR for Bangalore to kolkata on 16th may 09, at 6-20 p.m. and after that I cancelled the flight due to some problems. For that reason when I called to the indigo customer care and they told Rs. 750 will be cancellation charge and reaming amount will be in Indigo as credit cell which I can use within one year for the next booking & immediately I got a mail saying the same things. But when I go for the new booking on17.5.09, they told I can’t use my credit cell money because this is already blocked due to some verification purpose. and I will get this money back after 10 days in my credit card only. My query is that INDIGO should have informed me through mail or through SMS, but the did not inform me in writing.. Yet I told the customer care supervisor- NEHA GUPTA to mail me that the amount will be refunded back to me so that I will be confirmed in writing. But instead of requesting for 2 hours over telephone she did not mail me. What is the problem for indigo to mail me regarding this when my money is only lying with them? If Indigo thinks they do the right things by befooling clients like this way then I am ready to take it to MEDIA & Consumer Forum& the Indian people will come to know who is right? I am totally helpless, I came Bangalore for treatment purpose, now is very difficult for me to book new ticket, because again I have to pay, so I want immediate action, I can easily take legal action for that because I am having all the supporting documents for proving myself right legally.
          Waiting for your intervention immediately before I do take it to open forum.

            Dear Sir,
            I have booked 3 flights in Indiago for the month of Dec 08. All these
            flights are after 6th Dec 2008. In connection with the recent
            announcement from Indigo Airlines that the fuel surcharge has been
            reduced to INR 2700 from INR 2900, I want to get refund of 200 Rs for
            each of the tickets I have purchased.

            Please note that while purchasing tickets I find fuel surcharge under the
            taxes and not under fare. So when the surcharge is getting reduced from
            6th Dec 2008 Indigo Airlines cannot charge me Rs 200 more for each of tickets
            which I have purchased earlier. In my opinion it is illegal if the airlines does
            not return Rs 200 for each of tickets passengers have purchased
            earlier and flying on or after 6th Dec 2008.

            I want a quick response from your team on this regard.

            I was also highly disappointed with the way my grievance has been
            handled when I reached Indigo Call center.

              I was travelling from Delhi to Kolkata via Indigo Flight 6E209 on sunday 19th Oct. We were 2 adults, one child and one infant. I was enroute from London to Delhi to Kolkata to LOndon. On check in we were informed by the staff that we were excess baggage by 33 kgs. I had a total of 93 kgs and was told that we were allowed only 60kgs. The staff were very uncooperative despite showing them my international tickets and that we were in transit, which allowed us 30 kgs per ticket. The manager, Mr Neeraj Ailawadi, came when I insisted and his explanations were that Indigo had a fixed baggage policy even if someone was in international transit. Indigo apparently does not share any transit arrangements, they are a low cost airline, were some of the arguments provided. He even said that there was no baggage allowance for infants... and he KINDLY gave us a GENEROUS waiver of 10kgs. Eventually as we were getting held up, I had to pay the extra baggage for 23 kgs - Rs. 1600.
              At no point during our booking was this mentioned to us, and infact it would have been cheaper and more comforatable for us to have travelled by Jet or Indian Airline etc.. taking into account that we had to shell out extra amounts for baggage and food on flight. I shall take this matter with the athourities in Indigo, and definitely in future no one from my family, friends and colleagues shall fly with Indigo.

              The same luggage in AIR-INDIA weighted around 8 kgs. and in INDIGO it was 11 kgs. I noticed it since I had connceted flights on the same day with same lugguage.

              Hardly people get to know this..

              I don't know what to say about this to INDIGO airlines... be aware of the facts...

                My brother Dr. Tapas Medhi, travelled Indigo Flight 6E 201 dated 1st nov'08 from Delhi ( starting at 5.30 AM ) to Guwahati.
                The security did not allow to take his moble ( with Airtel prepaid sim [protected]) in handback but in checked in baggage. On his arrival at Guwahati Airport to his surprise he noticed the Mobile with above prepaid sim was not available in the bag.
                On 2nd Nov'08, when he tried the number [protected] some one responded. It implies the moble is in some one's poseession / hand, who is definitely one of those engaged in handling bags in morning hours of 1st Nov'08 and probably some security personnel ( who did not Dr. tapas medhi to carry the moble in hand bag) giving indulgence for this kind o[censored]nfair task.
                Dr. Tapas Medhi, for his official task at present, is not in place where he could contact through internet to customer complaints/ police complaints as it may call for. Hence undersigned is writting on behalf of Dr. tapas Medhi.
                My request is that the Air liner should take appropriate actions immediately in this case since the theft of mobile sim is likely to pose security problem.

                  I travelled from Delhi to chennai on Flight no. 6e 283 on 7th june 2008. Seat no. - 2c. I had bought a 'vegetarian' veg. roly-poly from your in flight food trolley. This happened to have an egg coating which is NON-VEGETARIAN. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY IT WAS CALLED VEGETARIAN? I AM A PURE VEGETARIAN FROM BIRTH AND I HAPPENED TO CONSUME A SMALL PORTION OF THE FOOD ITEM. I AM VERY VEXED WITH YOU ABOUT IT. I HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED A STRONG COMPLAINT WITH YOUR IN FLIGHT STAFF. BUT WHAT WAS THE USE! THERE HAS BEEN NO CORRESPONDENCE. CONSUMING THE ROLY POLY WAS AGAINST MY RELIGION AND YOU ARE TO BLAME FOR IT! WHY HAVE YOU NOT CORRESPONDED FOR THE LAST THREE MONTHS. I NEED AN ANSWER FOR THIS.

                  I have Cancelled two tickets 1 Hour Before... with PNR I9H52D, UE9PSX . I was supposed to get the refund amount in mail from the Customer Care, But It has not happened till now.Please share the E-Mail confirmation ASAP.

                    It is very evident that This indigo airline is flouting all norms set by DGCA. DGCA clearly says that all airlines (indian) will have to refund 100% amount within 7 days of cancellation, witout withholding the money.

                    Is there anyone or place where these complaints could be heard?
                    Not even sure if airlines cartel have filled DGCA pockets for not acting and sitting tight.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I cancelled my ticket no VLDULB, they charged rs 750 as cancellation charges, and the rest amount they reserved as indigo points.
                        I wanted to know if they are charging the cancellation amount then why they are keeping the left amount as indigo points, instead this amount should be credited back.
                        This is not a fair practice, in this manner they are forcing the customer to use their flight in a one year time. If the customer doesn't use this amount in a years time then this amount is lost.
                        If airlines charge cancellation charges, then why they keep rest of the amount with themselves.

                          I cancelled ticket from Indigo airlines from Banglore to delhi,
                          For that Indigo charged cancellation fees Rs 750 per ticket, that is fine i got agree with that .
                          But they are not returning the remaining money around Rs.4000 saying that they don't give refund and will add it my indigo credit but i didn't get any chance to fly again and the worst is that they are just asking me to forget the money as it isthere policy while all other airlines gives refunda after cancellation and deducting the cancellation fees.

                          Please guide how can i get my remaining money back.

                          I am really very upset when I show all these complains not been taken care what I can say about my problem when someone waiting form Jan and March. I suggest all private airlines if you need to increase your services you most take care about services.

                          This is really bad experience with indigo. I am always using to book my ticket with Air India or KF. This first time I am booked my ticket from Indigo. As per there rule if we reach airport at 30min before check in, and we need to cancel the ticket we must get refund. I book a ticket from Bangalore to Calcutta and reach before 24 min. The indigo gays told me they cannot refund my ticket. I paid Rs: 7, 524 I didn’t get single rupee as a refund. I suggest my friend do not use these kinds of services.

                          Hi, Why domestic flight rates have become more volatile then stock market ? Not only base fare but Taxes and Fees are also fluctuating rapidly. Everytime i book ticket i feel good one day since fares have increased and i feel sad because even before date of flying rates have reduced drastically. Ex. 4-5 days back lowest fare for Del-Mum for 10th March were aroun 4200/-, and today lowest is 2900/-. Please explain.

                          I have never received any statement from your end which would stae me the purchase of the product.

                          INDIAN AIRLINES TICKETS — DONOT BOOK ANY TICKETS FOR PAYMENT MADE, PLEASE REFUND FULL AMOUNT

                          while booking tickets by makemytrip.com, for 31.03.2010 for IC -168 & 05.04.2010 for IC 602, for 03 adults, from mumbai to New Delhi and back, the amount got deducted, but with transaction error . The amount of Rs 20,694/- got deducted from my A/C [protected] -PNB Debit card , but then transaction error came. Please do not book any tickets, and refund my amount to my bank account.

                          INDIGO AIRLINES — Refund on cancellation

                          I wanted to cancel a booking on Indigo from Mumbai to Chennai. I was told that the cancellation cost per booking was Rs. 750 (for a base fare of Rs.300) which wasn't too unreasonable.

                          What came later was a shocker. I was told that the remaning amount will not be refunded to me but will be added to my Indigo credit that I can use during my next booking.

                          To add to this, I wasn't even told how I could use this. Only on further probing, I was told that I could use this only by booking through the Indigo call center and NOT through the website (I book all tickets through the company websites). I'm sure there are many people who haven't been told this during cancellation.

                          AAI should bring in stringent rules for cancellation.
                          Can't you book with that amount for some of your friends?
                          I had missed my flight due to irresponsible behaviour of Customer support executive at Nagpur Airport. I reached before 40 mins, at aiport and screen at the Airport showing Boarding, but I was not allowed to board/check in saying that I m late well..

                          Regarding PNR T6LNCL and P6MEAH ("Delhi - GOA"), I talked to your customer care executive and She told me that refunded amount has already CREDITED BACK to Travel Agent account on dated 18th SEP 2010. But Travel Agent (from whom i bought the Ticket) is saying the amount is not credited in his account. I don't know where is the misunderstanding but the result is that I am the end customer and I don't have the refund money in my hand. Kindly advise what should i do? What should be next right step.                           Dear Sir/Madam,

                          It refers the original PNR No of my cancelled ticket[protected] T1L7AP

                          I requested for refund of the above amount Rs 4,524.00/= on 24 th of february
                          2011.
                          I was told that it will be refunded on the credit card originally used for
                          booking the ticket within 10 days max. The last four digits of this card was
                          --0003.

                          Meanwhile I made so many calls requesting to give me e mail confirming the
                          refund request .But every time I was told that it will be send, but not done
                          till the date. When I contacted again on 5 th March,2011, I was told that it will be send by demand draft to my
                          residential address.which will take lot of time.I am not able to understand why
                          should it be taken so much of time to refund the money and why innitially I was
                          told that it will be refunded on credit card. Although every time i requested
                          for e-mail confirmation of this refund request but it was not done.It is not the
                          way to treat your customer .

                          Pl see that I am getting my refund within 10 days as per your norms only .

                          Indigo does not refund the money. It provides a credit for the amount to be refunded which is valid for 365 days. I suggest you book ur next flight with indigo and redeem the amount. Ensure that you have te cancellation number.

                            I wrote this email in the feedback form in the Indigo airlines website.

                            This sunday, 8th June 2008, I had an extremely upsetting and disappointing experience with the ground staff of Hyderabad airport. My flight was a 3.45 flight for Mumbai and it was an urgent trip and I had booked the ticket via credit card by 12 that day. I had reached by 3 for my flight and had joined the check in queue at Indigo All Flights counter. By the time the queue moved and I reached the counter, the time was 3.15, and I was told the check in for Mumbai flights was closed! I understand the late part of this issue, but what I demand an explanation for is this:

                            a) why weren't the Mumbai passengers proactively asked to come to the counter first, as time was running out?
                            b) who gives the ground staff the right to be so rude? Myself, along with another passenger who had the same plight as mine, were obviously frustrated at what had happened to us. Not an ounce of sympathy but we what received was replies like slaps on the face saying that the counter was closed. Infact the check in counter staff even asked the other passenger if it was in his habit to appear late for his flights!!! Remember that it is "us" who pay the money and it is "us" who are your customers. Also, we were made to run from one check in counter to another and finally to the customer service officer. And his behavior was so disgusting that the people who hired him should be fired first.
                            c) I am a frequent traveler and there have been times when I was stuck in a traffic and have been late for flights(i believe that since i am paying the money the airlines has minimum responsibility to atleast try that i can board the flight). Once I was just 15 minutes away from boarding time and I was traveling via Kingfisher. They wouldnt have taken me in alone but there again there was another passenger late like me and then the ground staff personally accompanied us and made sure that we quickly clear all the procedures and borad the flight in time. If I could receive this kind of treatment from another airline just like yours, is it wrong to expect it from you guys?
                            d) why wasn't it written anywhere in the email print out i took the time I have to appear for the flight?

                            I do not expect any response to this feedback but just to let you know, last sunday you have definitely lost one customer (hopfully 2 if the other passenger feels as strongly about what happened as I do).

                            Whatever, thats not the point that if she let us pool in or not. The point is your staff's behaviour. I've the first time in my life that the staff is using abusive langugage with the customers and you're defending her? You should be sorry. And if you ask her, why the hell would she confess? She did use those foul words. So we have every right to complain

                              To whosoever it May concern,

                              I am writing this mail to inform you about the trauma i had to go through due to Indigo. This is my last resort. i booked an indigo flight from Delhi to Bangalore which was scheduled to depart at 8:45 PM on June 8th”2008. When I reached the counter with my husband at 7:50 we were told that we are too late and they cannot accept passengers. To our surprise the lady named Tina was extremely cold and did not did give any reasons. She had the wrong attitude and did not know the basics of customer service. I am surprised by the attitude and the one. Then we spoke with the supervisor nidhi who informed us that the flight is scheduled to depart at 8:15 (flight- FLT1807867) was preponed and they gave the message to Ms. Krishna on phone, SMS ed and sent a mail informing the same. We did not get any message or any mail. We don’t even know who Ms. Krishna is!!! We also spoke with the manager there. I am unable to remember the gentleman's name (I think Naresh), who told us that they cannot help us and the money will not be refunded. But since we have made the reservation through make my trip, and the ticket we had specifically said is refundable, hence we should be able to get it from them. Getting to the floor supervisor took us so much time due to his unavailability that it was time for the flight to take off.

                              We spoke with gagan and tenzel from make my trip and no signs of relief. We were asked to get in touch with indigo. If this is how it goes then why should one ever book a ticket through makemytrip and not go directly to the airlines??? Make my trip asked us to get in touch with indigo and vise versa; it is just a vicious circle.

                              First of all if we did not receive a message then it’s not our fault. Secondly since we were half an hour earlier than the flight's actual departing time, we should have been offered another ticket for the next flight or a refund should have been given. Thirdly the unwillingness to help from indigo really put us off not to mention the trauma of not being able to be with my sick grand mother.

                              We went ahead and booked another tickets through spice jet. which costed us another heavy amount. This was our first encounter with indigo and I will ensure I mention this to every single person I can.

                              We not only lost approximately 12k but the amount of trauma that we had to go through is priceless. We were unable to say goodbye to our grand mother. Thanks to all the miscommunication.

                              Indigo's advertising line is the coolest airline in India and makemytrip's is wish.click.go in my case it’s been a complete disaster and ridiculously handled. I am sure this is a way for the budget airlines to earn money. They must have given the ticket on a higher price to someone else.

                                Dear Sir/Ma'm;
                                Since the first time that I flew on Indigo some 1.5 yrs ago I had a very high esteem about you and your employees in all sense of the word.

                                On 1st May 2008 under the booking PNR ZI1RLD my mother;wife and 3 yr old son was travelling from Pune to Kolkata by flight 6 E 410.As a measure of prudence since I bought this ticket on my credit card I accompanied them to the airport.All was fine except the security asking for individual I cards for my mother ( 56 yrs and a homemaker); my wife 28 yrs & a homemaker) and my son (3 yrs old ).On explaining they asked me to get a seal from your counter at the Airport.

                                At the Indigo counter I got a rude initial shock.There was this lady Ms.Tina with a unforgettable pout who thinks she is the CEO of Indigo or maybe the Miss Universe 2008...she simply refused to assist me anyway in this subject.'We cannot seal'...at my wits end and panicked I fervently requested her ...then she went on a sermonising trip as to why can't my mother;wife and son have a I Card.Finally I spoke to a male staff who asked me to wait till your security incharge arrives.

                                The security incharge was very cooperative and just saw my credit card copy and patiently heard me.Then on his instruction the same Tina stamped the paper and my wife;mother and son finally entered the airport and completed the journey.

                                The point here is how do you see Ms. Tina's role here? I am sure Jet Airways or Kingfisher they wouldn't have behaved such uncouthly in such a case.Not only me just behind me there was a old man who tried to speak to Ms. Tina and was dejected by her disposition and left the counter aghast.

                                I am sure no where in the country we will ever again see such a haughty and rude Indigo staff.I am also sure that had it been Jet Airways or Kingfisher or else then persons like Tina would have been instantly sacked.

                                Why shouldn't Tina be sacked?Atleast she should learn manners from the girl who was so courteous next to her or the male staff who helped me.

                                I sincerely request you to review this episode and please ensure that no other passenger in similar dire straits face characters like Ms. Pouty {Oops!!} Ms. Tina again.

                                I had a really bad experience with indigo and while i was searching on the net i am surprised because i too encountered a extremely rude staff of indigo at delhi airport counter called tina. She refused to give her last name and was really rude. and at the same time nidhi the supervisor and another lady who was at the ticket coutner was helpful. I am surprised how can a person who doesnt understand the basics of customer service be allowed to be the first point of contact. I am sure this was the same tina in Pune who is now working in Delhi. i booked an indigo flight from Delhi to Bangalore which was scheduled to depart at 8:45 PM on June 8th”2008.                                 Please haul Indigo to consumer court.If that lady from Pune is shifted to Delhi then even worse.

                                I am sure consumer court will rule in your favour.
                                I had registered the ticked for Bombay to banglore return trip. BOM to BLR was goes fine but when i am returning i was getting late 10 minute in boarding because of local traffic in banglore. So Indigo Air lines does not allows us to enter to flight, Also their staff did not responded well about what to do next. I asked them about Ticket cancellations but they Indigo Air lines did not answer me and said me to contact makemy trip because they donot sold the ticket. Also said this ticket is non refundable but according to makemy trip it was the refundable.

                                So indigo staffs behaviour was very bad even they donot given me Indigo Customer Care number . They said "We donot have any numbers ". So i wish if the employee does not have their company numbers they should close the counter because peoples are facing problems with that and feeling they were cheated."


                                I got lot of problems on air port and later i goes with Go Air with expensive ticket.

                                  This is to inform you, i was suppose to travel by INDIGO, PNR No.MM5WAA, Flight No.6E-404 from Kolkata to Mumbai, Depature time- 17.40 Hours. I had reached airport by 17.05 Hours and there was a long que for scanning of the luggage. There was only one machine that did the scanning and that was shared with three Diffrent airlines. SPICEJET / MDLR and INDIGO due to this there was a further delay of 5 minutes for the scanning of my luggage.

                                  The person named DEEPAK at kolkata airport at the checkin counter did not allow me to checkin inspite making several requests that i had turnedup on time. Thus he did not allow me to board the flight because the delay caused by Indigo person at the checkin/scanning counter and the worst thing is that the Guy / Deepak of Indigo airlines did not even cared to talk properly and started argueeing about the delay. I belive if at the time of checkin he wouldn't had argueed and tried to let me board the flight than it would had been a good service to customer.

                                  Inspite of delaying and missing my flight i requested him to give it in writing the checkin time of mine that is 17.10 Hours he simply refused saying its not in our policy and the sadest thing is he has no manner to talk with the customer. As far as the policy is concerned than it is no where written that the scanning machine will be shared by three airlines.
                                  Therefore, i requested Indigo airlines to kindly refund my money but they simply refused to my request.

                                  my credit card no .[protected].on 15th of june some body take ticket by online transaction.amount is 5124.00 and on 16th its canceled.amount 4300 is returned and i lost 750.00 rs from my card towards indigo..pls give me a reply for that
                                  didnt let me board the flight due to absence of credit card
                                  I had boarded the flight 6E 322 on 30th Nov 2008 from Kolkatta to Mumbai and to my surprise when i took the luggage from the coveyor belt on mumbai airport the lock of my trolly bag was tampered. On talking with the customer care executive I was told that I would get Rs. 50 as compensation. I took the money then and there but I would like to know if Rs. 50 will suffice the repairing cost of the trolley bag. If not please give me the appropriate compensation amount. Why should i suffer for the irresponsibility of the airlines staff? Request you to take an appropriate action asap and let me know.
                                  I have lost a baggage while travelling with Go indigo. Its been 3 days and they havent found it. All i hear is please bear with us ma'am. This baggage has things worth at least Rs 50, 000/
                                  I am hoping to get a favourable reply from them and if i dont i have decided to go to the Consumer forum and also the press.
                                  they always do so
                                  for me also they didnt let me board and said that weare cancelling ur ticket u'll get the remaining amt. afterwards it turned out that they did not even cancelled my ticket. i didnt get any amt in return.
                                  This has been faced today (oct-15) by my husband who had a boarding pass in hand, to fly from Chennai to Pune. The Manager of GoIndigo Airlines Mr Arun Kumar, in an insane and ridiculous manner tore off the boarding pass and said that though my husband has a boarding pass he is not eligible to fly. This so called official even denied it in writing that he is eligible to do so.

                                  High time that pathetic, arrogant and hopeless replies and behaviour by these airline officials be changed.

                                  Iam sure even the money will never be returned, as this is an easy way to earn money by these ailines

                                    Booking Ref: EZR 508384/A & 515696/A.
                                    Indigo Airline cancelled on 11 Feb,2008, flight from Delhi to Mumbai on 14 Feb,2008. Your staff offered alternate flight on Goair for all six passengers. This was accepted & paid for. As advised by your staff the necessary cancellation was also done online at the same time. At first one staff member advised that full refund will be received by me in 7 days. A subsequent enquiry this was increased to 3 weeks. On enquiring today as to why has the money not be refunded, my complaint was passed to the concerned department & I have been advised that it will be another 7 days before the money will be refunded. To say the least this is most unfair & shakes my confidence in Ezeego. I insist that my money be refunded as a matter o[censored]rgency immediately.
