I'm an employee from TCS (Chennai), I was given an offer saying there is no closing fee while pre -closing the loan and processing fee is only Rupees.1000 and I can close the loan after 6 months by the agent from Indusland Bank. Since I had an idea to close the loan as soon as possible I opted for Indusland Bank for personal loan. The application form was filled, when I asked for Loan agreement the agent informed that the agreement will arrive soon. If the agreement is shown and if the loan details are mentioned, I would have cancelled the loan that time itself. But till end the agreement was not shown and I have not signed the agreement papers. But the Loan was processed and amount was credited after one month delay. I got frustrated and informed manager of to cancel the loan since I dint get on time for my need. But manager informed if I cancel the loan, I will be charged 4% of loan amount, kindly come after 6 months I will help to close the loan he committed. Now it has become 6 months I'm interested to close the loan but as committed it is not done.
According to the agents words following were mismatching terms used with the welcome kit we obtained after loan was given.
Closing Charge was free, but it is charged 4%
Processing Fee is Rs.1000 but it was charged to Rs.8000
Pre-closure duration was 6 months but it is 1 year
My biggest concern is the agreement papers was not shown so i was not given prior information about the charges for the loan, so I am totally dissatisfied with the loan processing process. Kindly help to close my loan as soon as possible.
I have given complaint to customer care but query is not answered, Informed Branch manager to resolve our issue and asked for Loan agreement, past two weeks the Agreement will be dispatched he said, but not yet received the agreement and no response if I try to reach now.
