I purchased intex aqua style 3 champ from amazon on 31/08/2017. Around a month later, the mobile stopped working and switched off completely. I submitted the device in jammu service centre on 10/10/2017 who told me that the ic has damaged and will need repairing. I did not receive the device even after 15 days and upon calling the service centre, the receptionist was so rude and crass while giving me any details about my device. I had to file a complaint with the head office after which my device was repaired and returned to me.
The dissappointing part is that even though my device switched on again, there were several other problems that my device acquired such as taking more than 8 hours to charge fully and not receiving incoming calls. I submitted the device in the service centre the very next day and filed a complaint with the head office regarding the faulty device. I was told that intex doesn't have a replacement policy which is utterly disgraceful and dissappointing since no company can ask a customer to use a defective device, which intex, apparatenly, is asking me to do. I was l, however, told that someone will call me up to provide a resolution to my problem which no one did.
I filed a complaint again after a couple of days stating that nobody bothered to call me up and provide redressal. The customer care representative again told me that someone will surely call me up this time which no one again did.
All i was asking was for a replacement or a full refund because i am not going to use a completely defective product, but it seems that intex is least concerned about its customers.
Now, as a customer i feel so cheated and so dissappointed with how intex has dealt with my problem that i am left with no option other than to go to the consumer court and defame this company publicly. And this time i will assure that not a single product of intex is sold on marketing platforms such as amazon.
Intex Technologies customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
