I had booked a spicejet flight no sg8179 having pnr ff38xn from delhi to mumbai on 22 march 2020 having departure time of 19.45-22.05 hours from ixigo having booking no if[protected].
On 22 march morning at 6 a. M., i got a message from spicejet indicating that due to operational reasons my flight has been cancelled and preponed to flight no sg8723 with revised departure time of 08.30- 10.45 hours. Since the flight was preponed for more than 11 hours and intimation was given just 2 hours before its departure, i could not travel in it. After contacting spicejet customer service, i was told that since the flight has been preponed for more than 11 hours by the airline, i was eligible for the full refund if not travelled. Later i received a mail from them stating that they have initiated a full refund of rs. 2, 676/- to the booking partner which was forwarded to ixigo.
However, even after two month i have not got the refund from ixigo. Whenever i call their customer care, they give the same reoly tgat refund will be credited in one week. Why so much delay when the airline had already refunded back the money to ixigo? If my money is not received within 5 days, i will lodge a complaint against ixigo with the aviation ministry.
Ixigo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
