Please note that my father had booked two-way train journey from durg to nizamuddin and nizamuddin to durg dated 05/05/2020 and 16/05/2020 respectively. These tickets were booked through ixigo. However due to covid lockdown both these tickets were cancelled by irctc with an intimation that refunds will be received in 3-4 days.
The total refund amount aggregate rs 7670 and pnr of journeys are [protected] and [protected]. I have attached intimation from irctc and ixigo with this complaint.
Following this, and not receiving refund in stipulated timeline, i contacted ixigo customer care and was informed that refund had been initiated on 08/05/2020 and will reach my account within 7 days.
It has been 2 weeks now and still the refund has not been credited on my account. On contacting customer care, ixigo representatives are saying that customer service related to train services are not working and only related to flights are avaialble. Further, on chatting with ai through app, it keeps telling me for lockdown to be over.
Given that refund has already been initiated, i feel cheated that i am being told to wait till the end of lockdown which remains uncertain even as i am writing this.
Please look into my grievances and take appropriate action at the earliest.
