Hi, We booked a round trip ticket from Guwahati-Bangalore for my parents for my mother's treatment as mentioned below. PNR- VTAHSG Travel date- 20 Dec'13: Guwahati to Bangalore (Flight no 9W 2364) 5 Jan'14: Bangalore to Guwahati (Flight no 9W 2363) But on 5th of January'14, when they reached Bangalore Airport to board the flight, jet airways suddenly cancelled the flight saying its too foggy in North East region. Whereas other airlines like Air India, Spicejet, Indigo were flying to Guwahati on the same day. The next best option the Jet Airways ground stuff offered to my parents was to travel till Kolkata and then arrange something on their own even though we booked ticket till Guwahati for them. After fighting with them for a long time, they gave tickets for 7th January'14. At the end my parents suffered for the whole day, wasted money in traveling to and from Bangalore Airport that too without any clear reason of the flights being cancelled. Please look into the issue and take necessary action to make sure that Jet Airlines provide a proper justification for their carelessness and because of which hundreds of people suffered.     I am truly disappointed. I flew with Jet on the 29th Oct, London to Bangkok via Mumbai. The price of the ticket wasn’t anything special. THE FLIGHT WAS DIRTY AND STAFF WAS RUDE.
    I was planning to stay in Thailand for 4 months then return to India for a month before coming back to the UK.
    However, plans changed and i had to come back to the UK in 3 weeks of my stay, my father tried to ring the London jet office explaining the situation and asking to change the flight earlier.
    We understood there would be a charge to change the flight. However, the office/call centre said it will be £350 to change the date of the flight.
    Therefore, as it was a emergency i didn’t argue i bought a new flight via Air India which I must say excellent service. Which was £280, they were there in a time of need. I change my tickets within 12 hours of my flight and they were happy to help and let me fly a few days later. Which i returned to the UK on 15th Nov 2013.
    As i returned to the UK, decided to visit the Hammersmith head office for Jet. I explained the situation; they said there is nothing that can be done. Speak to your agent. Spoke to the agent speak to Jet. It was passing the blame from here and there. This was on the 17th Nov 2013. Kavita at Hammersmith, London said she would call me back. No response.
    After a lot of calls, they said that the information given to your father was wrong; it only cost about £50 to change the flight. We are not sure why they said £350. But that doesn’t make it right; I am still out of pocket of £280. So who is going to give me a compensation for this mistake?

    Now 27th Nov 2013, i decided to write a email to guest relation as advised by the call centre. I got a response on the 17th Dec, when they said they will reply by 6th Dec. Seriously, what kind of service is this? Nalini d’Penha, sent me a reply, sorry for this speak to your agent hope you fly with jet again!!
    Was she serious?
    I sent her a reply, and today it is 30th Dec, no response. I spoke to the call centre yesterday again and the same responses please email the guest relations. Also sorry forgot to add, they said why you don’t buy a new ticket to Bangkok and have a holiday. Who is going to pay for this? Even if i decide to fly to India for a small holiday, they said i will still have to cancel my ticket Bangkok- Mumbai to use Mumbai – London which will cost £100.
    This is outrageous. Honestly.
    • This is what i expect to happen, full compensation for mis-information.
    • Someone senior to respond to my emails and give me a answer.

      This is in reference to my missing baggage at New Delhi airport with baggage number 9W632023 from flight no. 9W0017 from singapore to delhi on 16.12.2013. i was informed at the airport that the baggage has been missing due to the load issues on the flight and i was assured that the baggage shall be received by me on 17.12.2013. i have been making endless calls to JET AIRWAYS since then for my baggage and it's 19.12.2013 today and i have not received my baggage. Such kind of behavior from JET AIRWAYS is causing me mental harassment and also wastage of my time. I have my another trip scheduled on 20.12.2013 and there is no assurance on my baggage till now. being in vain i am writing this e-mail. i had also given my feedback on website of JET AIRWAYS and also at [protected]@jetairways.com on 18.12.2013 & 19.12.2013 expecting a reply on the same but still i have not got the same. This harassment has forced me to take a action against JET AIRWAYS for compensation for their ignorant behavior, harassment of customers and mismanagement of the belongings of the customers. I request you to kindly assist me in following up with JET AIRWAYS for my missing baggage and the compensation for loss of my time and efforts for the baggage which is yet to be received by me.         Hi I traveled on Jet Airways 9W 353 on 11th Dec from Mumbai to Delhi. I was served a meal with a green sticker. When I ate a bite, I discovered that I had been served a chicken roll. I suffer from severe food allergies and am allergic to chicken. I shudder to think what an individual with religious sentiments would have done in my place. Your flight crew was entirely non-committal and did not give me any avenue to address my concerns. I rushed to a doctor from the airport and could not attend the event for which I had traveled in the first place. The entire trip was wasted and I have been suffering ill-health on your account as well. I demand full compensation for this. PNR: YYDCCR

            I had a flight from Kolkata to dibrugarh via Guawahati on 24.11.2013 of Jet Airways. I had bought a brand new laotop of sony just a day ago and had packed it properly in my luggage for safety. However, when I reached destination and unpacked my luggage reaching home, I found my laptop fully damaged. It took seconds for me to realise that my luggage was mishandled either while loading and unloading or while flight transfer. As I reached Airport for complaint the very next day, personnel in counter said that I am coming one day after flight landing and I should have opened luggage infront of them. Further, They gave some vague excuses too like Airlines is not responsible for any damages inside luggage If airlines cannot take proper care of luggage, why cannot they leave the same at passanger's possession instead of giving such vague excuses. I just need my laptop in well to do condition. We are Senior Citizens and 77 & 73 yr. old couple & when we reached the Lucknow Airport yesterday ie Nov 9th, 2013 morning to catch our Jet lite flight booked through your Portal several weeks back on Aug 12 from Gurgaon via makemytrip portal (Booking ID -NF[protected], we were told by Jet lite staff that the Flight has been cancelled. Our repeated questioning to them that "WHY DID NOT WE WERE INFORMED EVEN ONCE EARLIER BY THE AIRLINES OR YOUR PORTAL" was not answered at all. We told them that we have an evening flight from Delhi to Indore the same day and it is very important for us not to miss it We had to eventually buy another ticket of Spice at a much higher price so that we do not miss our evening 5 pm flight from Delhi to Indore via Indigo the same evening on 9th Nov, 13. THIS INCIDENT HAS CAUSED US TREMENDOUS HARDSHIP, FINANCIAL LOSS, PAIN & MENTAL AGONY AT SUCH AN OLD AGE. BEFORE WE TAKE THIS MATTER FURTHER WE WANT YOUR EXPLANATION FOR THIS IMMEDIATELY.                 I was scheduled to catch 21.20 PM from Hyderabad to Mumbai last night which kept on getting delayed at regular intervals starting from 10.15, 10.45, 11.10 and so on ….. The on ground staff of Jet Airways was so rude that they did not give a reason for the delay and please look upon the t screen for further details. On top of it as customers started fighting they quietly pushed them to their lounge for free dinner so that they do not make a noise and create a panic. As the crowd started gathering they could not control and then they started saying that they have not offered free meals even after the people who had those meals acknowledge that JET AIRWAYS only guided them to the lounge. There were senior citizens and parents with infant kids who were struggling to manage the long delay with no reason and they could care less for them. As per policy if the flight is delayed for more than 2 hours people are entitled for meals but they refuse to acknowledge the policy also. At that point we decided enough was enough and we will not board the flight till all the passengers are served meals and they give a written apology. The question out here was not of meals as we were least interested of having a meal 11.30 in the night but the question was of respect. Even after paying the necessary fees for travelling if we are treated like slaves for the services which are bare minimum to be offered is NOT ACCEPTABLE at all. As we progressed ahead many of senior citizens, families with kids started boarding the flight as they were already exhausted and had no energy to argue. I must approx. 40 to 50 people including ladies and foreigners that we will put up the fight and not board the plane. After numerous arguments they agreed to provide meals on the flight but refused to give an apology letter. We also stood firm and said that unless we get the letter we do not move ahead !!! They were trying to threaten us that the plane will fly leaving all of you behind etc and they will not accommodate us stuff like that. We mentioned to them that they can go ahead do what they want but we will not move unless we receive the letter. At 12.45 AM they agreed they gave in to our demands and they gave an apology letter !!! It did not stop there… then as we boarded the flight the Captain threaten us I will not allow you all to Board the flight and the staff on the airplane mentioned that we will not serve free food as it is not possible. However the flight took off at 1.10 AM and then in the mid way they switched off the AC and they had a rough landing as they were under the impression that they also gave us a fight. The only regret I have is there were many senior citizens and families with kids and people had to catch connecting flights and were under stress because of the delay, I would sincerely apologize to all of you !!! Please note the intent was to teach JET AIRWAYS a lesson to treat people with respect, dignity and not like slaves etc…. There are more videos where the ground staff promised to provide food inside the flight late on but the cabin crew refused. Also the crew behaved very badly. Ac wasnt working in the flight. They gave apology later which is again fraud as the letter they provided to us didnt have any of the staff's name.                   I have purchased ticket through jetairways website to fly from Chennai to Singapore on 10th Novmber. Due to some reasons I have cancelled my booking and got informed that I will be getting the refund in 7 to 10 working days. But, when I check my credit card account for refund, I am really shocked, only part of the amount is refunded. So, I have called your call centre to check the status today (11/11/2013), they advised me to check with my bank, hence I called bank and they told me that, there are few transactions made from jet airways as follows: Partial amount XXX credited on 20 OCT 2013 Amount XXX debited on 23 OCT 2013 Partial amount XXX credited on 23 OCT 2013 All the above transaction made by Jetairways, India. So, finally I got only part of the amount XXX, which is 1/3 of the actual amount. I am totally upset while writing this. Regards, Hariharan

                  I have received update from jet airways that, they have credited the balance amount to my account, and I will be getting in 7 working days. I will update here once I receive my money successfully.

                    I would like to say that I have had a very pathetic experience with Jetairways. My wife, my sister-in-law and infant niece had tickets on Flight no-9W 2484 from Kolkata to Guwahati on 18.05.2013. PNR no.s were as follows-GCYSFO, AWFGVO. They did the check-in on time and got the boarding pass. After security check they were waiting for boarding. However, when they reached the boarding gate, they learnt that the flight had already taken off. There were no announcements or final call for boarding. When they approached the local officials, they were offered no help but were treated very badly. We were not refunded our fare, On the other hand they were asked to pay Rs.9000(approx) more for the next flight. This sort of customer mishandling and lack of professional ethics is not expected. I have lodged a complaint in Jetairways website but was not offered any help. I also put a complaint on pgportal.gov.in but got no help from there as well. I think this country is only for the rich, the politicians and the hoodlums. There is nothing for the common man.

                      this is to bring to your notice that i am presently sitting in flight no:9W 2824 since 8 am and its 10:25 now . the flight is still grounded at bangalore and we are mercilessly sitting with no informationThese bloody airlines have no spare aircrafts to board the passengers . I had a connecting fligt to dehradun, will the jet airways [censored]s make me reach my home on time for the festival, or we burn their asses out here in the aircraft .now we r grounded and dont know what next . bloody jet airways never ever travel by jetairways please learn a lesson from our mistake

                      Every Friday u sell flights tickets from Abd to mumbai at 7.35pm and it takes off at 9.45. Why do u cheat customers? If its not going to leave at 7.35 pm then do sell those tickets. Flight nbr 9w0324.

                        I was travelling from Kolkata to Mumbai via Jet Airlines flight no. 9W 628. dated 28th Sep 2013. But when i reveived my bag at Mumbai Airport, one of the entire wheel was not there. On enquiring with the Jet Airlines staff, they were highly non cooperative. It was clearly not a case of over sized bag. My Bag was almost empty. Also, I had recently bought it only a month back. It was also a sturdy bag, the wheels cannot to be broken that easily. I am very disappointed by the behaviour of the staff and also by the way luggage is being handled by jet Airways. Also, I am an Air India FF and this was only my second trip with jet.                         I was travelling from rajkot to Mumbai to bangalore today and I had mentioned fragile on my main luggage still the things have been broken inside and my bag is torn from many sides ! Please look through this

                          I noticed a long female hair in my food tray served to me on Jet Airways Delhi - Patna Flight no 9W727 of September 08, 2013 (In name of Sharad Kumar Singh, Seat 14F, PNR PNDJOW) after finishing my meal. I brought it to the notice of the flight attendants and asked for a complaint book. They came back apologizing with a feedback form after some time and said that the flight captain had been informed about the case. I’m quoting part of lines from mail received from Guest Relations, Jet Airways on 13th Sep, 2013 “In keeping with our process, the crew members are required to handover such objects to the base-in charge. A lab test is thereafter conducted of the sample to establish the content. I understand that the sample was not handed over to our crew. Nevertheless, you have my assurance, that we have taken this matter with all the seriousness with our Caterers for an appropriate action internally.” I want to point out in rebuttal to their mail that the sample was shown and handed to the crew and flight captain was informed about it according to them. I’ve photos of the sample on my mobile as proof. It is the short coming of the flight staff that they failed to inform the passenger about lab testing in such a case and to send the sample for the same. Their mail seems to me as politely and incorrectly brush the matter under the carpet. I want Jet Air ways to take strong actions in order to prevent foreign particles like hair in food and educate their staff about importance of procedures and compliance as it is evident from the mail sent by Jet Airways Guest Relations that the procedures were clearly breached knowingly/unknowingly.

                            Hello Sir, I travelled from Edmonton to Amritsar on June 24th and my ticket no. was [protected] and the confirmation no. was GXLMET and when I reached Amritsar airport, I did not receive my bag and after waiting for more than 2 hours, I contacted the Jet airways help desk and they issued me the delayed baggage report form. I was informed that the bag will be delivered in 3-4 hours. As my all the clothes and the other necessary items were in that bag, so I had to purchase the necessary items. In the evening when I received the bag, my bag was damaged. The driver also gave me the report for the damaged bag. I had already sent all the receipts for the purchased items but till date, my claim has not been settled inspite of my repeated request.                               I approached the checking counter at london heathrow before 830am to checking my luggage to the flight number 9W119 scheduled to take off at 930am. I had already done my on line booking previous day. The man and a female representative at the counter refused to check in my luggage claiming that they are closed even though they had one hour ahead of departure. I made series of attempts seek some help from them they were unwilling to help me and stated if I wanted board the plane, to leave the luggage and board the plane. When I told them that I am going home after a holiday and I have no place to keep the luggage and they are all my personal belongs.They took no care for my call. After all I had come to the counter one hour before and also already had checked in on line on the previous day. When I pleaded them to speak to the manager, the male staff took his mobile and assumed to be speaking to his manager for a second and confirmed that no one can help and walked away. I had to check into a hotel and had to call my agent abroad to arrange a flight tomorrow paying additional amount for the ticket. I am in tourism business and travel to UK and Europe once a month and this is the second time that I have used Jet Airways and was keen to use it constantly. Please investigate this matter as to why they closed the counters one hour early and why they are very unhelpful. I was put to lot of difficulties. When I did my on line booking yesterday I got a message telling me to come within 60 minutes before the departure. That what I did.                                 Dear Team , My name is aman vats , I was on vacations on 16th Aug at Leh , Since net was down at Leh during this period so i hwas not having any other option but to approach sonu fliers , at leh main road , I got the ticket in the name of Aman Vats and Nishi Vats , Travelling from delhi to varanasi .Due to some reason i was not able to board the flifgt so i got it cancelled at Delhi airport from Jet Airways counter , Ticket no was[protected] and[protected] , Jet air executives told me that there will be deduction of 1100 Rs per ticket and rest of the money will be refunded to me , Since i have booked the ticket with cash so after cancellation money will be refunded to the agent , Now from 18th aug i am following like anything with the agent so that my money will be given to me back , He is continously giving excuses that he will deposit money in 1 days or two , From few days he stop picking up my phone . I had approached jet airways and they are saying that coordinate with travel agent and let us know RAA number then only they can follow for the same and they are saying that they are not responsible for travel agents , I want to know that these travel agents are appointed by jet airways or some one else , They are putting big boards on behalf of Jet airways without there permission , I am highly disatisfied with the response of Jet airways and urge you to get my money back or arrange to get the license cancelled of that agent Address of travel agent is as follows Sonu Fliers Main Bazar Leh - Pin code 194101 Ph no [protected] Regards Aman Vats [protected]

                                  I booked myself in 02 Sep 2013 Jet Airways flight 9W 304 from Delhi to Mumbai. Considering the checkin counter closure norm of 45min prior to flight departure, i reached Airport at 7:20. Since there was ample amount of time left, staff asked me to stand in the check-in queue. Morning rush could be seen in the long waiting queue. It was already 7:45 AM and i was still number 4 in the wait list to be served. I asked the airline representative if we are still OK w.r.t time. Hearing 8:25 as flight time, she then told me to meet the Supervisor. A BIG surprise was waiting for me. Supervisor told me that checkin is already closed for Mumbai flight. I was dumbstruck. Typically, the checkin staff call out for the final checkin for a given flight. There was no such announcement that i experienced, though the staff beg to differ. As per them they called for final checkins. I was in the queue waiting for past 30min and never heard a single shout. Perhaps they called in their minds. I missed one urgent meeting and was booked in 9:55 AM flight. Boarding staff was totally oblivious to this and cared least. I'm not sure they do it on purpose with intent of selling the tickets at premium. Morning flight on this route especially on mondays always sell at premium. May be these airline muggers accommodate people at extra cost in early flights by adopting such tricks of the trade. Never again will i fly with Jet airways.

                                    HI, would like to inform you that my baggage has been mishandled at bangalore airport. Aug 16th traveled in JetAirways flight Number 9W 0391 from bhubaneswar to bangalore. When i got my luggage at bangalore airport the wheels of my trolley bag were broken from one part. Please check the same in the picture. Also the luggage stand one stop was broken. The same is visible in the picture attached. When i received the baggage it was completely drenched from one side. I had reported about the same to the jet airways luggage in-charge person Mr. Ravi. He also had taken few photos of my bag. I would like to formally lodge a complain for the same. Do let me know if you need anything more
                                    I was travelling from Kolkata to Mumbai via Jet Airlines flight no. 9W 628. dated 28th Sep 2013.

                                    But when i reveived my bag at Mumbai Airport, one of the entire wheel was not there. On enquiring with the Jet Airlines staff, they were highly non cooperative. It was clearly not a case of over sized bag. My Bag was almost empty. Also, I had recently bought it only a month back. It was also a sturdy bag, the wheels cannot to be broken that easily. I am very disappointed by the behaviour of the staff and also by the way luggage is being handled by jet Airways. Also, I am an Air India FF and this was only my second trip with jet.

                                    Kindly redress my problem

                                    I am A. Madhan Kumar, passenger travelled from Singapore to Chennai on Oct 5, 2014 by 9w 2341. The baggage was booked for domestic transfer at Singapore for Onward journey on Oct 6, 2014 by 9w 21. On clearing custom and immigration, I handed over the baggage to your ground services staff after scanning the bag on Oct 5 at 11.00 p.m in a good condition. It was scanned in front of me. No queries were raised. I am enclosing the boarding passes as proof of travel and the luggage slip for reference

                                    On Oct 6, 2014, when I checked the baggage at my residence, I was surprised to see my locked suitcase was broken and my inside baggage was disturbed, the belt inside the luggage was untied. I don’t know what is lost as I had many reading materials and valuable documents.

                                    This is brought to your notice to have a track on your ground service staff to take the passenger into confidence if they found anything unusual. I need to be informed about the action taken which will enable me to bank on your flight in future as considerable mental disturbance has happened because of this event.

                                      Good day My Family and I flew from Doha to Mumbai on the 06th of August 2013 and arrived at the Mumbai Airport on the 07th of August 2013. Since this was our first trip to India we had problems in finding the correct terminals and arrived 5 minutes late to check in our luggage. The staff at the check in counter was not helpful at all and did not even assist in directing us to the correct counter to book another ticket. A guard at the gates assisted us to advise were to book another ticket. We were then told that we had to pay an additional 2500 rupees per person as a penalty for being late and that they will book us on the 2:30 pm flight. We were also treated like prisoners in the airport for 8 hours as we could not check in our baggage or leave the airport. Is this how the staff are trained to assist passengers? I have always heard good reviews about Mumbai,however after the treatment we received from the Jet airways staff I would think otherwise before booking or travelling to Mumbai.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        It has been a very bad experience for me while travelling thru Jet Konnect flight number 9W 7136 on 14th Aug from Rajkot to Mumbai. My boarding pass detail is SEAT 16A.

                                        The flight was already delayed by approx half an hour. After flight took off there was an announcement about the " Jal Paan Seva" and passengers were asked to use the menu card place in the seat pocket.

                                        I have asked for a Sandwich which is a very much a regular snacks served by all other air lines. But to my surprice flight attendent denied with the reason that flight time is just 40 Minutes. And offered me potato chips. How can one feed his hunger with chips at presicely dinner time.

                                        This is not logical. Because once you are already on service it does not matter what is the flight time.

                                        The act was in real contracdiction to the annoucment made regarding "Jal Paan Seva". What is the purpose of placing a Menu card in the seat pocket if you are not able to serve the same.

                                        And the biggest surprise came to me when I saw that passengers on seat 12 D, E, F have been served with Sandwich and other stuff.

                                        I am completely failed to understand such kind of act from Jet Airways staff.

                                        I had to travel completely empty stomoch and that made my travel a most difficult one.

                                        I request to take necessary action againt the air line.
