Dear Sir/Madam, I am a frequent flyer who travels quite frequently domestically and internationally. I was witness to a shocking conversation involving pilots. When I had recently travelled overseas and was at a very popular mall……..while I was waiting in a coffee shop (Waiting for my wife to finish her shopping). Several gentlemen of Indian origin came to the same coffee shop. It was evident with their conversation that they are Pilots of Jet Airways a leading airline in India. Except for two pilots the others left to do some shopping in the mall, the two pilots who stayed back, from their conversation, I could make out that apparently one is a senior (commander) & the other a first officer, started conversing in Kannada, a language that I understand and speak very fluently (I could not help but overhear as they were sitting very very close to me were quite loud). Either they were oblivious to the fact that another Indian is sitting in the next table or they assumed by my very distinctive Non Indian looks & appearance that I cannot speak Kannada, or maybe they simply did not care as they are in a foreign country and have assumed that maybe people cannot understand Kannada. The first officer supposedly had his medical/fitness test in a few weeks & was confiding with the commander that he was apprehensive & skeptical about clearing the same as his cholesterol levels were high and he had certain other issues. What shocked me was…..the senior pilot rather than put sense into the junior's head suggested he take some pills that will thin the blood or show reduced cholesterol levels during the medical test and also assured him that he will pass his medical/fitness test with flying colors if he listens and does exactly what the commander says, The commander was boasting that this is what he & most of the pilots in India have been doing for ages and that there are many techniques to cheat the many tests that are conducted on the pilots, only if they ever do a random check he will definitely fail or get caught and that he has resorted to cheating the system for ages rather than comply with the guidelines. The senior pilot seemed to have a solution for every test including alchohol, he was mentioning that there is a drug which will mask alchohol in their blood and he frequently takes the same...Now isn't that scary... The senior pilot also mentioned that the doctors who perform the test CANNOT BE BRIBED to get clearance, and the only way is to cheat the system rather than take corrective measures/steps. While I was very very glad to hear that the doctors cannot be bribed, but was shocked that pilots have found a way to cheat the system. After the discussion about the various parameters of the medical tests and various ways to cheat the same, the topic moved to sex. Both the pilots (from what I overheard were apparently married & with kids too) had employed the services of commercial sex workers the previous night and were sharing their experiences with each other as to how good the experience was and then exchanged the numbers of women & pimps to try out on their next visit. while it’s none of my business to interfere in anyone’s sex life. Aren’t they compromising our national security by sleeping with unknown women? What if they are walking into a honey trap? What if they are blackmailed to smuggle drugs/weapons/bombs on board? What bout diseases like aids? What if they are forced to carry contraband into a foreign country or our own country? Also aren’t these guys compromising our safety and security, whilst cheating the medical test and flying may seem ok to the pilots, What about us flyer who are at the mercy of these pilots, what if something happens like if one of them has a fatal heart attack while flying. Am aware that the job of a Pilot is very very demanding and that they shoulder a lot of responsibilities, What about the lives of hundreds of passengers, what about the multimillion dollar machines that they operate, what about the reputation of our country and the company that they represent, aren’t these important responsibilities as well. Do they they think that rules should not be applied to them or their families. Do the pilots think they are above the law and invincible. Hope you will highlight the issues that I have mentioned and expose the pilots to the public. Aren't our lives valuable. Regards. An Air Traveller

    Dear Sir I was travelled through jetlite on 04.06.2014 from Hyderabad to Indore. My ticket no was[protected], flight no S2-3822.. My ticket was misplaced. I was contacted to your Khel Prashal office, Indore for travel certificate and deposit required amount of Rs 200/-on 12.06.2014.When we have contacted to your officials more than 6 times regarding the matter but he always deny we have not received your certificate and last time they have insulting me. This is your customer service.Please provide me my travel certificate. with regards navin

      I travelled from Delhi to Sharjah by flight 9w 548 on 22.6.2014 I got seat no 30F. LCD was not working I request & cabin crew checked inform i will change seat but after no any response. We asked snack one more not provided. I travelled 5times in Jet but this time i felt not happy with cabin crew services jitpal booking ref. XAVHKQ

        My Dad's PNR number was TZMRWD.On 15-July our sister marriage was scheduled.
        My dad was supposed to traveled on 13-July & return on 20-July(Booked in March). But unfortunately JetKonnect cancelled its flight(they said they sent mail in April end) but we came to know only just 2days before the scheduled date as i called them to gather some information & during that time they said the flight has been cancelled. My Father/Family's whole plan was washed away because of their unprofessional behaviour. Please let us now how we can file a case against them.

        ADVICE: I have found so many complains googling abt this company that i will never ever book my ticket with them even if their ticket is 500Rs cheaper then other airlines .. My sincere advice to all of you please don't opt this airline. Worst airline, i have ever dealt with.

          I and my family is having relationship with jet airway since 2010. We are travelling to canada from india very regularly.
          On may 22nd i boarded jet airways flight no 9w 229 from toronto to amritsar. We reached on time at brussels at 7.30 am in morning. Sudden announcement came that the flight to new delhi from brussels will be late for one hour, then they said 3 hrs then 5 hours and so on.
          I don't mind there may be a technical reason and i respected that.

          Then they said flight is cancelled and will go next day.

          I told the jet airways chief lady at brussels that i have heat sesitive herbs and oils for my mother who has been detected with cancer recently. They could stay as is for 30 hours in such packing.
          She said don't worry your luggage has been already sent to new delhi in other flight. So when you reach you will get the same.

          I believed her. We started next day from paris airport via air india to new delhi.

          When i reached there they said your luggage is still at brussels. I got my luggage after 4 days and had to ask many times and repeated requests were in vain.

          The oils were cold pressed and were spoilt in delay which she lied to me ( sorry to be very blunt). Those medicines were so important for my mother's condition.


          It was an expense of more than 1700 us $ . If she told me truth i could made some arrangement in luggage. I had to arrange the things again for her treatment with extreme hassles. Which even the ailie couldn't even think of.

          I should be compensated for the loss and damage done mentally and physically.

            My luggage bag is being misplaced by the airline .Due to which have nothing live here in Taiwan. Most of the important things are in the bag. There have been almost a week but still i have not got my luggage back. This is the worst experience in my life time. Right now i am totally frustrated because of this and Jet airways is not responding to me on this matter.

              My PNR no SIWNVO, the Jet Airways cancelled my ticket without any intimation. We only got to know when we went for collecting boarding pass. When we checked with Jet Airways they are blaming it on to the Travel Agency Akbar Travels(Ref no AT[protected]. In turn Akbar Travels is blaming it on Jet Airways. When we asked Jet Airways to send us an email stating that Akbar Travel has cancelled our ticket, Jet Airways declined this request which it self proves that they are at fault. This is highly unacceptable that a passenger is suffering due to Jet Airways mistakes..We are standing at Dehradun Airport, where no supervisor is ready to help or support. Highly unethical & ruthless behaviour by Jet Airways. They don't even know how to behave with Passenger who is suffering because of their mistakes.. Email ID: [protected]@gmail.com

                I have booked a ticket from riyadh to hyderabad via mumbai (PNR APMLLR). Now I got urgent work in Mumbai for which I wanted to stay for 2 days so I requested Jet airways for rescheduling my travel from mumbai to hyderabad leg. They suggested one particular slot after 2 days but they demanded heavy amount towards charges almost to the extent of 15000/- . Then I requested that I forego the amount from mumbai to hyderabad sector, just cancel only that leg without refunding amount. Still they insisted that I have to pay the amount even if I don't travel by their carrier from mumbai to hyderabad. It was really ridiculous rules that even after not travelling also one should pay amount to the carrier. What a ridiculous rules. Please check whether the practices of the airliner is ethical.

                  Hi, My wife and two kids aged 2 and 1, were planned to return to Chennai on 15:55.(Shreeleela Balaji, Vidhathri Balaji, Tanushree Balaji, Krishnakumar Mehta) They reached the Delhi airport by 15:05 and had no luggage. Though the ticket was issued, The lady supervisor in the counter wasted 30 minutes in the name of verification / enquires. She was not understanding. Had they cleared and issued the boarding pass, things would have been comfortable. You should realize that it is not easy for a lady going with two kids (new born) and try to have humanity to help them reach your flight. All the good reputations and hopes on you is getting shattered by such acts. If the next flight of yours (Scheduled at 20:30) can be delayed for 41 minutes due to rain, why not she been allowed to board the flight when it was ready and still in airport. Need a explanation for the same and solution too. REgards, Balaji B

                    I want to make a serious complaint against Jet Airways privilege membership points. I am a blue plus member and wanted to book tickets from Kathmandu to Bombay wherein the regular fare is around Rs9000 for one person one way. If i book the tickets through miles (12000 miles) ideally there shud be a benefit in cost to be paid. But the money they are asking to pay is around Rs8500 to Rs8800 which is similar the base fare rate. Jet airways people are fooling people to run privilage program. I urge amd request the relevant authorities to seriously look into this and ask Jet airways to pay hefty fine for fooling customers. My name Siddharth [protected]

                      Dear sir, madam i am rinki sharma from switzerland.my ticket is swiss airline zurich to delhi, in 23 march 2013.this next airline jet airways delhi to jaipur, but i was go bagage cheking, but your crew not gave me ticket, they sayd this ticket number is not show my computer, i had a big problem in aipport, after that i thing i i take new ticket, but they give me ticket very costly.not bagagae not allowence, pay extra, my ticket booke for germant travel agent, jet airways member says you call you travel agent, but that time its not possible, because timing its not suffecient, and 3.00 clock am.i asked every jet member but they not help me, and they not search my new ticket number, why?and also sayed this your problem and your travel agent, and now they not give return money, please send me your answer,

                        Sir, i have visited port blair from delhi on 8.6.2014 having pnr no sdyoci by flight no 9w-7105. I submitted my one bag at airport and received it from port blair and found that the lock of my bag was brokened and the chain out side and in side was open seems there was search of some thing was done. I feel very bed at air port and give a written compliant at your official on airport.My bag is not in possition to reuse but some how i mannage it. I would like to know how is it happened and who is responsible for it because there were two other person also complaining but your staff dismissed and they ignore them also. They were old age so i think they should not go further but i request you to verify it and give responce as early as possible.

                            I booked a Goi-Maa Jet Airways flight via Cleartrip.com. It was a direct flight scheduled for August 16th from Goa to Chennai. The flight was cancelled without notice - only an sms was sent to me confirming that the flight was cancelled. The airlines re-booked me on to a connecting flight via Mumbai without permission. Our party is made up of 4 adults and 3 very young children. When I called Jet Airways customer service and told them I wanted a direct flight because it would be inconvenient to do non-stop with three children, they said all their flights were full for the next day i.e. Aug 17th. I checked online but Jet Airways was still selling tickets for Aug 17th flight. I was forced to cancel my tickets. I lost a processing fee of 1080 re because it was booked through Cleartrip. I was also forced to rebook my tickets on a different airline for a higher price. Jet Airways has not offered to help me in any way...they are not even taking responsibility for cancelling the flights so much ahead of schedule.

                              Hello Jetairways,

                              It is very hard mail because of that inconvenience which my sister get only because of Jetairways delhi airport authority staff.

                              I am Gaurav Pahwa a privilege member(Blue+ card holder) of jet airways and my Privilege ID is :[protected].

                              Brief About Problem Faced by My Sister at Delhi Airport (Dr. Preeti Pahwa)

                              Yesterday(3rd June) My Sister was about to fly Delhi to Pune for her Annual exam(MS) as per ticket PNR No. LCLNTP(under redemption of JP miles), when she reached at airport check in counter almost 47 Min prior to scheduled departure, which was at 6:25 AM and she reached there at 5:38AM, your check In counter guys were responding, you are late and you need to rush because check in has been closed, Although after requesting them(1 guy name was Prabhat) they convinced and accept my sister luggage with these baggage ref TAG no’s(9W2513PNQ, 9W791IDR, 75899W790896) for check-In, but immediately after 1 min they replied, sorry we can’t allow you to check in because you are late although they people were wasting time in useless discussions(like where you are coming from, when you bought this bag, did you buy this bag for this journey etc..etc).

                              After that around 6:10AM they said sorry, we can’t help you, please book another flight, when my sister requested for rescheduling they said it is a redemption deptt. who is responsible for this type of matter and they will open their customer lines at 9:00AM.In this whole discussion that flight has been missed, and that exam as well for which my sister was flying to Pune.

                              Now my point is that what kind of rules you have??If your Staff is not able to fulfill them, once they said, you need to rush and immediately after a min they replied sorry we can’t allow you to check-In although they guys were having enough time for useless gossips..

                              Answer me, who will be responsible for that loss, which my sister has already missed her EXAM for which she were preparing since 1 year(Annual Exam-MS-ENT)??

                              Why Your redemption team is not available at Airport premises, if Airport regular staff is not having any authority to take decisions for this type of tickets??

                              Once your airport staff Tagged ref to (9W2513PNQ, 9W791IDR, 75899W790896) my sister’s luggage and immediately after how come they denied to check-In. Are they mad or out of their mind who doesn’t know how to deal with passengers..?

                              Answer to all of my questions and let me know how you can compensate this huge loss which I got because of your illiterate jet airways Airport staff??

                              If I will not receive any satisfactory answer from your side, I will be bound to take help from consumer foum under Human Harassments Law through Jet Airways

                                I purchased Jet Airways ticket from London to Chandigarh via Delhi. PNR: NSASAU. I traveled from London to Delhi on January 31, 2014. I checked in my bag for the flight to Chandiagrh but after some time was told that the flight has been cancelled. No body from Jet Airways took care to inform me or just make any arrangements for my stay in Delhi or onward travel. I was told to go myself to Chandigarh. On my was back on Feb 10, 2014 it was a same story, I had to travel on my own to Delhi and take the flight to London. Jet airways customer service said I will get a refund for the Delhi Chandigarh sector and my travel costs. After a long wait of about 2 moths Jet Airways sent me a cheque of £5.40 as refund!!! I paid £520 for this ticket. Is this kind of a joke??? I need to know how this refund was calculated and I should receive a suitable refund and compensation for such a lot of confusion, humiliation and harassment

                                    Piara and Satwant Kang 34 Hillcroft Dr. Markham, Ont. L3S 1P9 April 10, 2014 To Whom It May Concern: We are seeking reimbursement for hotel, food expense and inconvenience incurred due to the change in flight time for Jet Airways flight 2644 which was scheduled to leave at 10:35 P.M. from Amritsar on April 2, 2014, but departed at 7:00 P.M. At the time of booking we were told that these flights were confirmed(our itinerary also indicate that the flights are confirmed). At the time of our departure on February 24, 2014 from Canada, we were not notified of any changes to our flights. We arrived at the Amritsar airport on April 2, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. and learned that the flight had left at 7:00 P.M. We were not given any notice of change time in flight. We were left stranded with many other passengers who also had not received any notice in change in flight. The offices of Jet Airways were closed, so we dealt with airport personnel to reschedule our flight to Delhi. After many hours of dealing with various personnel, we were given a flight for April 3, 2014 to Delhi for 11:00 A.M. and to Toronto leaving at 2:30 A.M on April 4, 2014. We were stranded for the night at Amritsar Airport since it took until next morning to reschedule flights. We were offered no compensation for food, hotel and inconvenience, but other passengers were given Rs. 4000 each. The next morning we left Amritsar to Delhi, and had a wait of 12 hours before our flight. We booked a room at the Eaton Smart Airport Transit airport at a cost of Rs.6457.88. We are seeking compensation as follows: Amritsar passenger compensation: Rs. 4000x2 8000 Delhi hotel stay Rs. 6457.88 Delhi food 2000. ================================================ Total Rs. 16457.88 Total Cdn. $305.00 We thank you for your attention to this matter.                                       Date: May 11 2014 My wife name Jamila banu mirza was travelling with my two son Uwaisbeg Mirza and Asadbeg Mirza age 11 and 8 and her sister was (her name Ruqsanabanu pathan travelling with her and also her brother in law was (his name zahoorkhan pathan). They are came at the e mumbai airport around 4 hour early and their flight from date (may 11 2014) Mumbai to London Jet Airways flight # 120 takeoff time 1:40 Am but delay about one hour.my son name Uwaisbeg is a wheelchair passenger, and they did not provide the wheelchair until my wife asked to jetAirways staff and also Flight was delayed from Mumbai Airport and Landed at Heathrow Airport Around 9:00 Am London Time but expected time 6:45 AM and she missed her flight from London To toronto Flight # 5069 Aircanda and jetairways did not help to find another flight to toronto only Aircanda staff provide another flight from london to St John and Stjohn to Toronto. this was very hourabble experience from jetAirways staff and jet Air did not provide wheelchair for my son name Uwaisbeg Mirza my wife has very difficult time to get him wheelchair on London Airport JetAirways had very very bed service i will never travel again near future specially from Mumbai to London.                                       I had a similar experience with my 80 year old mum recently. They are completely inefficient and have no regard for the passengers booked on their flight. I had a very high regard for jet Airways but will never travel with them again, and tell everyone of my horrifying experience. My mother and sister could not fly due to delay in wheelchair service. There is utter callousness in their attitude, They say "NOT OUR FAULT" and are now demanding no show charges and date change charges to reschedule the flight.

                                        Hello Sir, I have flown to Doha from Delhi on Jet Airways flight no 9W554 on 18th May 2014. I have a very serious concern about the quality of food served in the plane. First time in 15 years I had food poisoning because of spoiled food served in the plane. Food served consisted of rice and chicken curry with Indian style rotis and the whole food tough served hot, seemed to be stale specially the desert. I was starving because of the high time for dinner and I ate what ever came in front of me. Since I never faced such crisis on board a plane, it never occurred to me that the food may be spoiled. I also noted that the majority of the passengers onboard were from worker class and I sensed that they were differentiated and because of this the food served was of low grade. I just hope that this was not the case otherwise my concerns will be amplified to the level of witnessing classicism where all passengers were not treated with equality regardless of their socio-economic status.
