Hi, I was going through Jet Airways at 19-Feb-2014 from Bangalore to New Delhi to Lucknow to my native to attend my brother marriage. I was having one trolley bag. I handover my bag to jet airways guys and they given me tickets and putted one slip in my bag and saying you will get your bag at Lucknow but while arrival at lucknow i didn't get my bag. I had larged complain at Lucknow Airport. They said we should traice your bag and we will send it to you address but afetr completing 14 days they were saying its losst and they are not giving proper compensation for this. Now they are saying we will give compesation according to weight 450/ per kg. But lot off things was there inside the bag but that was not heavy and are tomuch costaly but they are not giving proper compensation. Below are the thigs which was there- One fastrack wrist watche, One envelope containing some documents, One Samsonite(Duralite) 4-Wheel Red-ColourTrolley Bag, One Blazer(Blue), One coat-pant(light black), 2-Jeans, 2-shirts, 1-lower and t shirts, 12-shope(Santoor+Hamam), 6-Surf-xl Big Bar, 1-PondsD/F, 3Vim Bar, 2-Active wheel, 2-Clinic plus Shampoo, 1-Bvita, 1-Horlics, 2 Nivea deo men. So please resolve my issue.

I have already ask and send mail also they are saying we will give compensation 450/ kg. But lot off costly things are there inside the bag which are not having much weight but they are not listing any thing.

    I travel frequently from Dubai - Delhi-Dubai sector with jet Airlines. Their services at Dubai Airport are excellent but while travelling back from Delhi, they actually torture you at boarding card issuance counters.You will always see long que at any time. The staff is rude as if they are welcoming prisoners. On coming back to Dubai from Delhi on March 9th by flight 548, I reached the Airport at 17.10 hrs for getting a boarding card for 19.50 flight. The duty Manager, Ms. Gauri was constantly on phone and all the staff at counters were totally confused. They were taking Indigo passengers also as a result of which they overlooked their own passengers.Inspite of repeated requests and at times, shouting also, for better coordination and fast work, reached the counter at I9.10 hrs( barely 40 minutes before the take off time) and then the lady on counter was so confused that she did not know, how to issue the boarding card. The manager, Gauri was looking and acting more confused vanished from the counters.Inspite of repeated requests, that I was having fever and my legs were paining heavily, I had to stand in the que for over 2 hours to get my boarding card. By the time I reached the Aircraft, I could barely walk and was in uncontrollable pain. This Lady, Duty Manager, Gauri should be thrown out right away and the ground counter staff should get proper training on how to issue boarding cards fast and be courteous to poor passengers who stand in line for hours to get a boarding card issued. SHAMELESS STAFF


    If Jet Airways cannot manage passengers properly, they should sell this Airlines to professionals who can handle it properly and do not get a shame to themselves and to India. Their flight are good but the ground handling is pathetic and shameful, to say the least.


    I hope they learn from their mistakes or they will end up like Kingfisher very soon.

      Hi, i am a resident of Perth, Western Australia. I tried to make a payment for a confirmed booking through phone booking at Jet Airways Chennai office. I probably tried 20-25 times and it went to various levels.. People asking the same questions over and over again.. Every time, the call drops out.. People put me on hold invariably and i get disconnected. I am completely frustrated as i write this email. To this time, i haven't been able to make the payment. I am appalled at the response of few of your customer service personnel. I find them unaccommodating at best and rude at worst, except a couple who know how to empathize. Sometimes they even go to the extent of lying / Cheating... This is just ridiculously unprofessional from Jet Airways or whoever they have contracted their customer service to. There seems to be absolutely NO accountability for people in the customer service? They are ravaging the brand name of Jet Airways. Some who cares about Jet Airways needs to take some serious action! Overall, i will DEFINITELY NOT recomment Jet Airways to anyone!!

        JetAirways has not refunded my money since over 2 months! after over 6 emails, none is able to even respond appropriately. There seems to be no system, process since ticket refunds should be a basic operation. Especially when it was confirmed to me by the JetAirways Duty Manager herself. Horrible feeling when you have to fight for money that is rightfully yours BOM/CQ/200214/7393214

          This is another sad day when a customer's right was violated while travelling by esteemed Jet airline. I was travelling from New delhi to toronto by jet airways flight number 9W 230 seat number 40E, via brussels. Every thing was going perfect untill i got to know that crew members do not have gluten free food as i am allergic to gluten and can not have food which contains gluten.the request for gluten free food was mentioned on the ticket. On requesting the staff for gluten free food they came up that they do not have gluten free food and gave me a muffin which contained gluten and i had to eat that plus the fruits which never satisfied d appetite because it was 20 hours journey. Adding more to the mysery was when i was given ommellete which was without gluten to satisfy the appetite. This whole incident made my journey worse from bad and furthermore after landing at pearson airport i had two episodes of vomitings and loose stools because of the carelessness of the airlines. I never expected such a bad experience from such a premier airline and now i have to think many a times before boarding a flight with jet. Now i request you to take a serious action for the mental and physical(medical) Agony caused to me otherwise legal action would be taken for violating the consumer's right and would seek help from consumer court.               Dear Guest-Relations,



              no
              action at all was done on this matter the last 6 weeks. Why ? This is an urgent
              request !!!.

              Here are
              the details:

              RTVROB
              (Bangalore Mangalore with 2 changes on the first flight booked as the flight
              was cancelled Bangalore to Mangalore.
              And the second flight was delayed, but each time other earlier flights were
              been given and flown).

              ERKLVY –
              name was misspelled while booking - at airport later they agreed to forward the
              matter. The Coimbatore - Chennai flight on Jan. 4th: There was a change in
              flight time, but I took it. The Chennai Bengaluru flight was on time; The
              Bangalore - Mangalore flight was on time. The flight Mangalore to Chennai was
              put on delay for 2 hours, so the airport manager reissued a ticket and gave Bangalore-Chennai
              flight instead only and did refuse to pay Mangalore - Bangalore (which I had
              taken with Air India)

              But all
              the last 6 flights had not been put into my account !!! (Including GESEFV and EJQTZY
              and others)



              This
              means: Only within two Booking references the flights had been cancelled once
              and in addition delayed twice and therefore changed.



              a) I did
              not get any JP points/miles.

              b) I did
              not get the upgrade, which I was eligible since January (6 flights in 6 months)

              c) I did
              not get reimbursed the Mangalore- Bangalore flight which I paid to Air India
              (some 5000 Rs:)

              d) I did
              not get any reimbursement for all the mishappenings.

              e) I did
              not get any reply on all that for six weeks in ERKLVY and no excuse for the new
              mishappenings at RTVROB.

              Pls.
              Either answer now to this within a week !!!

                My Father(Mr Nandan K N) who is frequent passenger of jetairways from Dammam to Mumbai, went through a very bad experience. While coming to Mumbai from flight no 9W 963 Dammam to Mumbai on 23-Jan-2014, he found ( 1 gold chain, 1 pair of gold earing and approx 400 cash ) stolen from his luggage . We did complaint to jet airways by call and mail many times but there was no response for the same. I feel sorry that my hard earned money has no value for these people and airlines.I requested them to check their CCTV camera while loading/unloading the luggage for that flight, but seems no one is interested whatever happened with their customer, as i feel there no proper security system with them. I have seen many of your episode, so even i felt I should raise a voice against these airlines who are only involved in making profit not taking seriously their customer satisfaction.I feel if i don't get my things back, atleast i should have a right to know what that company did in this matter so far

                  Its a dual booking because Expedia
                  site did not confirm the booking even after payment and the same was confirmed
                  later by their Contact center executive that she can see that the booking was
                  saved with an error !! So I made another booking with Yatra
                  which was confirmed instantly(I am not a 1st time internet
                  user and Ive been
                  booking tickets since 5 years now so I know how this works).Now why am I being
                  asked to pay up cancellation charges which are almost the cost of the ticket to
                  cancel the duplicate ? And I am still travelling with Jetairways
                  on the same day same flight then what is the point of charging such a huge sum
                  from me, as it is you will sell those tickets to someone and get paid again !!

                    My mother, an aged senior citizen of Canadian nationality was booked on Del-Toronto flight 9W 230 to fly Premier Class on 10.2.2014 departing 03:00hrs. At the time of booking as well as telephonic contact with CC I had sought information on what help and care can be provided to an old lady who was traveling alone. I also informed them she being not very mobile should be seated near the washrooms and that she be helped if needed. As she was a cancer patient she was carrying life saving injections and drugs regarding which I requested facility to have them kept in a certain temperature range. Agreeing to this I was advised to carry the same in a container inform the check in counter who would inform the cabin crew to keep them in the refrigerator. My mother had a return ticket issued at Toronto and had traveled economy class that too unaccompanied despite her ill health that made moving difficult. With specialized treatment and supportive care she became mobile and her health improved. Keeping in mind the Del-Toronto long journey I upgraded her ticket from economy to Premier Class by paying the difference of Rs.70815-00. I was given all promises of good care as desired by me. On the due date we reached the airport at 00:15 hrs and made arrangements for a wheel chair and had her accompanied by an assistant. The assistant specifically informed me that he had told the officials at the check in about the medicines and they said arrangement will be made in the plane. After completing all formalities she was taken for boarding at 2 am. I was told by the accompanying assistant that some crew members were not inclined to have her fly but better sense prevailed and she boarded the plane. At 3.39 while driving back from airport I received a call on mobile from a staff of Jet airways informing me that my mother had been offloaded as a decision was taken that she was not fit to travel. I asked whether the fare will be refunded to which they replied in the negative stating that as she had boarded the plane she was not entitled to any refund. I was asked to wait an hour for the formalities to take place. This time of one hour extended to three hours to complete the above. The second shocker came when I was informed that they could access only the checked in luggage but there was no proof of the hand bag being with her in the plane. This bag contained the costly life saving medicines. I asked them whether any doctor was called to assess her ability to undertake the flight to which I was told that consultation must have been done. How such a consultation can be done without examining the person and secondly the cabin crew as well as the other staff were not qualified to decide on the medical condition of a passenger. On my further asking I was told that my mother was asked if she had any complaints etc to which she replied that earlier she could not walk but now with the treatment by her son she can walk. She might have hinted about her body pain that she had suffered earlier but was now free. She was then off loaded from the plane. I argued that an aged lady who was on the way to recovery was kept awake from the 10 pm on 9.2.14 in preparation to fly upto the time of her boarding the plane will be sleepy and lethargic that is further aggravated by sitting and waiting in the wheel chair for so long. Though she was off loaded for body complaints why was not she taken to the airport doctor for treatment. Worse than that they could have contacted me before offloading her. Maybe the issue could have been resolved as I was one of her treating physicians and care giver. As per the opinion given by the person who completed all her formalities it became clear that the crew did not want her on board. The staff could not satisfy me with the rationale behind their decision to off load her. Not going further into the matter I would like to know:
                    1. The status with regard to the refund of fare
                    2. The return of the lost luggage
                    3. The matter of life saving injections being kept in high temperature thereby destroying their efficacy
                    4. The options available for claiming damages for this whole episode
                    5. A complete report on the whole incidence.

                      REPUBLIC DAY SALUTE BY JET AIRWAYS TO INDIAN SOLDERS We Indians are very proud of our largest democratic country and celebrate our republic day with total pride and patriotism. As a part of our RD celebrations we admire our soldiers from defence and paramilitary forces parading down the Rajpath in colourful ceremonial uniforms. Then we want the same solders to guard our posts on borders in combat or fatigue uniforms. Then we want the same soldier to attend their offices in normal summer/winter uniforms. Then we want the same soldier to attend evening functions hosted by authorities in evening rigs. Then we want the same soldier to be in smart PT rigs on the sports ground to keep-up their fitness. Then how many TYPES uniforms (with different boots and caps) these soldiers have to maintain. My husband is in defence forces and is presently undergoing training as part of official requirement. As part of course, he has to travel to various places and have to carry all the above types o[censored]niform. In all, there are minimum five types o[censored]niform to be carried along with respective shoes and caps. Every uniform has to be carried in minimum two or three sets. So in all there may be 10 to 15 pairs o[censored]niform. Along with these, while travelling you need other basic utilities as like a normal civilian. So naturally, the weight of luggage carried during any travel will be more than what is specified by the airlines, and will be definitely more than a normal civilian travelling on official duty. Now I come to specific incident narrated by my husband which occurred while he was travelling from Mumbai to Indore on Jet Airways flight 9W2385H on 02 Feb 14 at 1810h (barely 6 days after Republic Day). His PNR was H21PJK and Etkt was 589 [protected]. Thought officially he is supposed to travel by Air India, but due to non-availability of flight he had to travel by Jet Airways on sanction from Ministry of Aviation. While travelling on Air India he is generally allowed for extra 10 kgs being a frequent flier. However, in this case, while at check-in counter, the check-in baggage weight was 16.5 kgs (1.5 kgs extra) and cabin baggage was 11 kgs (4 kgs extra). The lady on the check-in counter insisted that the luggage from cabin baggage be shifted to check-in baggage and he pay extra for the same (Rs. 250/- per kgs means 1250/-). My husband informed the lady about his profession and even told her that he was travelling on official duty. However, she refused to budge and kept on insisting on the same. Luckily, other officers travelling along with my husband came to his rescue and seeing this, the lady changed her tone and agreed to include the extra baggage as some of his fellow officers had checked-in lesser weight. However, during this entire episode, my husband was asked to move away from the counter twice and felt very humiliated. I am posting this article on various social sites as well as official sites of aviation industries as it amounts to the way we Indians treat our soldiers at various places, at the same time we want them to be responsible and turn out in smart uniforms at every place. So a Republic day salute to our soldiers.

                          Dear Sir, My ticket could not be cancelled for 3rd February, 2014 with Flight Jet Konnect 9W-2856, PNR RMTGPI, from Kolkata to Delhi for your negligence. On 2nd February, 2014 I was put on hold for more than half hour at 7:16pm. I made so many attempts to contact Jet Airlines, but failed.                             Reference: Jet privilege No:[protected]; email: [protected]@yahoo.com I traveled by Jet Airways flight 9W 583 on 8th Jan 2014 from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai and from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi on 9W584 dated 25th Jan 2014. Separate emails were send to customer care after each trip along with the scanned copies of the boarding passes and there was no response, For the first trip, after 3 weeks I received a reply stating that the miles have been credited and it is subjected to approval by Etihad which will again take 4-6 weeks and there are chances of it getting rejected too. I fail to understand why the miles are not credited when the privilege card was presented at time of check in and proof of travel(boarding pass) have been submitted and why it should be gain approved by Etihad.The customers have to undergo such problems harassment with repeated follow-ups due to the tie up of Jet and Etihad.My only fault is that I booked the tickets through Etihad website showing the Etihad flight numbers with a foot note that it will be operated by Jet-airways. The Jet airways flight number was mentioned only after check in. Needless to say the deteriorated quality of the flight, dirty un-cleaned toilets, non-responsive flight attendants continues on the flights operated on middle east sector. There was'nt even common television on flight from Mumbai to Abudhabi. Seeking a prompt attention to this cause please.

                              I booked a ticket for Aizawl to bangalore for 14th january 2014 . My PNR number is AJULQT and booking number is [protected] . Printed departure time was 12:55 pm. I reached Aizawl airport at 12:10 pm and when i went to Jetlite counter, the staffs informed me my flight 9W-2874 had already departed. I would have no complains if had reached after departure time and missed my flight . When i went to the ground crew, and instead of giving me refunds or rescheduling my flights, they told me to pay 13600 rupees more to get another Jetlite flight for the same day. This is totally inappropriate because it was entirely their fault as they did not even give me warning calls. I demand a refund of atleast the 13600 rupees i paid extra

                                Dear sir

                                We regret to inform you about the kind of experience we had today. My wife was pregnant and the mental harassment she faced today was very hard to bare. After her luggage was checked in and after all other checks was done she was finally not allowed to board the flight saying that she is late.

                                - flight departure time was 7:00 am. We reached airport at 5:40 ( i have parking slip as a proof)

                                - web checkin passengers should be cleared at the most in 05-07 minutes. But this lady sitting at counter took around 15 minutes to clear. Finally my wife was able to do her luggage checkin at around 06:20 and proceeded for boarding the flight with a hand baggage of 6 kg in her hand (As the counter lady refused to take the hand baggage in checkin, she told they are having instruction not to accept more than 15 kg luggage)

                                - my wife informed me about this on phone. I was surprised to know that why the handbag was not accepted in checkin. She is pregnant and she can not lift any weight.

                                - i told my wife to go to counter again and request them to take handbag also in checkin as she is not allowed to lift any weight.

                                - finally jet airways authorities accepted her hand bag in checkin which took again another 15 minutes of time. They didn't even alarmed my wife that you are getting late and boarding can be denied.

                                - in the last when she reached the boarding gate she was refused to board saying that she is late. She screamed that its only 6:45 and flight time is 7:00. But she was told that the captain is not allowing for boarding now.

                                After all this mental torture we taken up this matter with jet airways officer at window but he also told that nothing can be done now. We also requested to arrange booking in some other flight at place of this flight but that also was not considered.

                                This delay has happened due to mistake of jet airways. Medical certificate was submitted at checkin window which itself speaks that the person holding this certificate needs special assistance. Secondly if she was late then why the luggage was accepted.Thirdly if the luggage was accepted why she was not alarmed that she is getting late for boarding. Special assistance would have been given to her if she was late to speed up the process. Jet airways would have avoided this inconvenience with little support and coordination.

                                I ended up paying rs.7, 609/- extra for booking another flight of jet airways at 4:05 pm today from jet airways window.

                                Kindly advise on the matter.

                                    I generally travel by British airways to London, given that Jet was an Indian airline and I did not get tickets in BA I wanted to try long distance travel in Jet. My flight detail are following: Flight no: 9W0463T from London to Mumbai Flight no: 9W0119 from Mumbai to Chennai 3:00am My membership no is: 9W[protected] the flight took off late from London. when I asked the jet airways staff in the flight about my connecting flight they said that should not be a problem the local jet airways flight will wait if there is a delay in landing The flight landed at 1:00 am instead of 12:00 when I asked the ground staff in international airport they said it should not be a problem. I was made to run between queues after queues to get out of the international airport and take the bus to domestic. There was a jet staff who initially said he will help in the baggage but asked for money when I said no money he dropped the bags and left. the next one came (since I was in a hurry) I conceded to give the money. He took the money and checked in my luggage etc.. After I cam to domestic terminal gate the time was 2:50 they said the gate is closed. I was very polite initially talking to the staff asking for reason she didnt bother to respond properly. There were 2 french couple who were stranded the same due to inefficiency of Jet. They just made us to run around the domestic airport looking for the next step. After making us to stand for 30 to 45 mins they said we will be put into next flight. I am not so much bothered about the above these things are destined to happen when there are connecting flights but the attitude of the staff and they way they talked to me and the 2 french couple was atrocious. That is when I got very frustrated first thing I apologized to those foreigners because as an Indian I was feeling ashamed. when I started confronting the staff she was more rude and when I asked for the supervisor she just said someone named Imran will be there I just need to stand, I stood for 30 mins no one. Then she asked me whether they need to get the baggage that I already checked in to me and I asked why? They were clueless in the way they were handling us. After some time this lady left and the next lady came, when I asked her she said I dont know your history just take the tickets for the next flight and leave. The French couple had booked for cab from Chennai the staff did not help to reschedule that. I gave the french couple my phone to make calls and helped them. Atleast someone should save the face of India for the goo[censored]ps done by your staff. I will not be surprised if Jet does not take an action or respond to me on this. But you have lost me as a customer. The more annoyance is the two foreigners had a very bad impression about India Thanks a lot Jet Adios Shreraam Gurumoorthy
                                    Oh look at you.such a great person..missed a flight..people treated you badly..and just so people should believe it, you throw in the french couple in there too..and you also take the high ground and help them and raise the indian pride..all that in a single day..get a life you little ..its one thing to complain about something but why did you have to go with this elaborate plan of writing this whole story

                                    1) you say you always fly with british airways..who are you kidding? you take whatever flight is the cheapest..If there is a flight 2 pounds cheaper but you have to sit on the floor, you will take it ..you know you will take it.

                                    2) French couple and all the drama- Oh Come on.. that's all crap..you go abroad and all of a sudden you turn yourself into the flag bearer of india..

                                    None of that happened. Yes you might have missed the flight. and that's it..No need to go into how you are the greatest thing after swami vivekanand and you helped india keep its pride and how the ground staff asked you for money because they are corrupt and you are not because you went abroad...

                                      Greetings, Travelling from Riyadh-Bombay-Chennai flight on 4th Jan 2014. While travelling from Riyadh to Bombay, I got served with Veg meal. In Salad I found bad smell...mainly tomotto and cucumber was rotten. I informed and showed to Air Hostess, also requested her to give me TEA as it changed my taste. But she declined saying Seat belt sign is on so she can't serve.. So, I need to bring two things to your notice as said. 1. Rotten Salad was served. It took me a day to get well after reaching chennai 2. She didn't serve me Tea by saying above reason, but to my surprise..she was serving to few female passenger with water. Why this difference. Since your fleet is highly valued...Pls. take care of such issues..Mainly food one. I got food poison relates symptons after consuming half salad.                                         I had booked a Jet Airways ticket from Delhi to Mumbai for Premiere class on 11 December 2013. Unfortunately at the last minute I had to cancel my ticket when I was at the Delhi airport and was told that the refund would be credited in 10 - 15 days. Its almost a month now and there has been no credit from Jet Airways. When I call their number, it takes 15 - 20 minutes to get through. Can someone tell me how long it would take for a refund to be credited in the bank account.
                                        Jet Airways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
