Hi

My wife had flight to Dubai from New delhi on 5th August'16 at morning 4.35 hours. She cleared the immigration and was at the boarding point when the Jet airways personnel said that he could not see the visa in their system and hence did not allow to board flight.

1) The e-visa system named as visioneform (email id: [protected]@emaratech.ae) is a automated system generated visa which i had received on 24th July for my wife.
2) These visa's cannot be checked online in India, but an Indian airport authority person can call UAE immigration and confirm. I myself called General Directorate of Residency & Foreign Affairs-Dubai and the hostess confirmed that there is no problem with visa.
3) The Emirate airline personnel at the Delhi airport confirmed that it is valid visa and she can fly to dubai in emirate airlines. I then booked the ticket in emirate airlines for her on 5th August evening 4.10 pm flight
4) When my wife kept asking the security person of Jet airways and the person who had stopped her from boarding flight, they did not have proper answer. Only thing they told was they could not see the visa in their system hence they did not allow her to fly

I have explained you the issue above.However the harrasment my wife had to undergo at the airport due to ignorance and zero authority from jet airways is unimaginable
1) She was stopped boarding flight morning 3.50 am and she did not get her luggage till 12.30 pm
2) there was no single point of contact from jet airways and personnel got changing and various personnel citing various reasons.

Just imagine the horror a single lady had to undergo due to ignorance of few person. Moreover, she wasnt provided with any food, water, any assistance from jet airways (which quote unquote is premier airline in India...I dont know how) and almost broke because there was no one to help her there.

i request you to take strict action against jet airways. Not only we had to spend double the amount, such a ignorant behaviour on a premier airline of the country not only jeopardize the rights of the flyer it puts the image of the country at risk if such things happen with foreginer's.

I can provide the boarding pass of emirate flight and jet airways ticket and all other refrence if you require it. pls let me know. i hope strong action will be taken against such staff for harrassment to a passenger.

    Now, once reach home, it is got dammaged

      Sir,

      I have booked two flight tickets from Mumbai to Chennai.
      For first ticket the ticket costs Rs.2811 per passenger (ZQPTTH)
      After 5min i have booked another ticket on the same flight and the fare raised to Rs.3614. And i have booked for the same. (KKTPPQ)

      After 10min the fare gets low to 2811. and currently the fare is 2811 only.

      Pl refund the fare difference amount for my ticket.
      ( KKTPPQ)

      Please do the needful.

        It is disappointing to bring to your notice the mental harassment we faced at the mumbai airport while boarding the above mentioned flight.

        We reported at the counter exactly an hour before the counter closes; due to the heavy rains in mumbai. our baggage was checked-in and boarding passes were printed (code - 3589 9w310730). however, we were denied further entry and were fined for late arrival. not only did we face a loss of inr 36, 000 for the tickets, but also our hotel reservations and stay at bangkok were disrupted. it is indeed shameful to bring to your notice the hostility of the airline staff at the airport and the lack of cooperation.

        We finally managed to take another flight via delhi (ref no: qwpidc).

        I request you to put forth my case for a detailed investigation and demand a compensation for the above said issue; failing to which i shall take ahead this case to consumer forum and demand justice for the trouble and inconvenience caused.

          Jet airways website had a special fare for cancer patients advertised on its website. However none of the contact centers / ticket booking centers or senior executives provided the process of booking this fare. It was 50% regular ticket prices. 2 weeks after providing the screen shots there was no response and finally jet airways pulled down the section from the web site mentioning no such fare exists. This is cheating on behalf of jet airways - we received no resolution and 2 weeks later when we booked the ticket prices were up by 3000 rs per person. The bookings were made on may 12, 2016

          Final complaint was made to miss manasi bhatia but received no help other than a normal email.

            I arrived from canada 2 weeks back in jet airways, when i came out to receive my baggage the attendant told me that my baggae haven't been transfered from the previous airlines (Air canada) on heathrow airport. I had layover on london airport of around 3 hours and their was terminal change. I have been calling and following up jet airways continously everyday asking for my bag but they are telling me that "they will forward my case to compensation department" and let me know if their is any update. The attendants on call are not responding me properly and have hanged up my call twice thrice. I assume that they have lost my bag. I asked them to transfere my call to their manager but they are not doing that as well. According to them my case have been forwarded to high-authority. I amreally fed-up of this response from them. Please help me out.

              Dear jet airways
              This is to say how i feel very disappointed from your service.
              We booked to mumbai to diagnose and treat my son. When we filled the medif form, your team kept asking for more details. We were going back and forth to the hospital to refill the form.
              At the end we fill the form with all details and the doctor confirmed that our son can travel safel.. Then your team asked to send fit to travel letter. By the time we received this request it was very late to get the letter and we we're approaching the weekend. We decide to cancel the flight.
              We lost our leave, money and exhaus ourselve..
              My question, why we didn't get any clarification about all requirements we have to prepare when we booked the ticke.. We came to know about medif very late.
              Second question, why your team didn't ask for fit to travel letter from the beginning?
              Alternatively your doctor could contact the doctor who filled the form. We keep asked for that with no success.
              It was the first time for us booking in your airline and up with this!!!

                I was badly cheated by fake calls, but somehow the problem was resolved. I just want to share few information which will help people to be alert and and not to believe in fake and fraud telephone calls.

                1. Do not believe if someone is claiming to be calling from State Bank of India or IRDA.

                2. Do not trust until you talk to them face to face.

                3. If you have slightest doubt. Approach o the nearest police station.

                    I am so sorry to that I have taken hdfc jet privilige card 1 year back.When I tried to utilise jp miles to travel from bengalure to hyderabad it was showing cannot process and error occured and when I tried to book after 5 min ie for 24 aug 2016 17:35 flight it is showing sold out.What a stupid service I am fed up after buying this credit card.I tried for different times of departure and from different system but still same issue

                          The check in staff at bangalore airport collected inr 3500 towards excess baggage when there was no excess baggage. No receipt was given. Subsequently escalated matter to guest relations. Duty manager at bangalore airport confirmed that this was a mistake by check in staff as the excess baggage was pertain to another passenger who checked in before.In spite of a written confirmation from guest relations that the money will be refunded no action from jet airways to refund the money. Absolute lack of response from the duty manager of the guest relations executive who handled the case for last 2 weeks.

                            Hi mr goyal

                            Where should i start with jet airways...!!!

                            My reservation no is cuepvo - delhi to heathrow 22nd june 2016

                            Before leaving to the airport i weighed my bags at home on a scale. Both suitcases were below 23kgs by almost 4kgs combined. So i decided on my way to buy 2kgs of sweets for the love of near n dear ones.

                            Upon check in was greeted by ankita on aisle 2 of the jet airways counter. On weighing both my suitcases i was overweight by 3kgs combined. So ankita advised me that i would have to pay rs10000 for overweight baggage. So that is roughly rs3333.33/kg. Wow!!!
                            So i left my paperwork of copies of passport, visa, air tickets, and personal information with ankita n she gave me a ticket to go and pay the cashier the amount of 10k n come back with the receipt.

                            On meeting with the cashier "laxmi dutt" i enquired about the overcharge n he told me that i get charged per piece. So techincally i am paying for 3rd baggage at a whopping price. So mr dutt takes me to the cashier.
                            At the cashier desk mr dutt is talking to mr sharma ji. Then another male counterpart comes in n they engage in talking personnal stuff. Mr dutt advises the 3rd person that "he can bring it from home". Mate can u charge or you wanna talk your personal stuff. Mr dutt leaves n mr sharma ji is preparing to charge me. Takes him 5 minutes!!! I then advise him to "hurry up" n also tell him that i will pay rs5k in cash n rest by credit card. He acknowledges. He then advises me that i will be charged rs10733. I then tell mr sharma ji that i was advised 10k n not 10733!! He says "sir 700 hi jaadaa hai!! What the hell!!! Rs 10733 is not 10k."sir pay kar deejayee.. $amount sasta hi padh ta hai!!!"then mr sharma ji charges my card for rs10733!! Receipt attached. Sharma ji i advised you that i will pay 5k in cash n rest on card.. So what part of my conversation could you not understand!!! That is incompetence if you could not follow what the customer asked them.. Pathetic.."sir abh charge ho gaya hai.. Maafi chahte hain.. Isee se kaam chala leejiyee". I just left that counter thinking"jet airways.. Great!!!

                            Then i went back with the receipt to ankita at the counter n she issues me the tickets. Now madame ankita has misplaced my paperwork carrying all important information about my personal details, visa copies, passport details, address details n tickets. Now you know what happens..."sir aap ko dediya tha"... Are you kidding me ankita!! I left that paperwork along with my baggage to go n pay for excess baggage n you have misplaced my paperwork!!! She starts searching n does so for 5 minutes & cannot find it.In the mean time madame "swet" comes along n ankita advises that i be taken through to clearance as i had excess baggage!! So madame "swet" n "ankita" advise that i should go with "swet" as i will be late to the gate. But madame "ankita" can you give me my paperwork before i get escorted. "sir i don’t have it". Ankita that is a very important piece of information that i have given into your capable hands and you can’t find it!!! Then she remembers n suggests to "swet" "i think i might have given to the group of 8people who were before me". I will go n see where they are?!! Ankita leaves n "swet" takes over checking other passengers. So i leave n stand at the entrance of the line, waiting for ankita. So after 15 minutes ankita returns and guess what? Comes back with my paperwork... Yaaayyyyyy!!! N that also with a big smile. "i found them!!!"

                            Now how can an employee of an international airline make such a huge blunder of giving someone my information??? My personal information if visas, passport copies, tickets etc was handed to someone by neglect!!! That is just insane!!! During the period of time, someone has access to my documents and the crew do not take it seriously!!! How can you give my paperwork to someone even without checking? Is this your trained staff??? If someone can’t handle their job responsibilities, they should be bloody sacked. Shame on you jet airways.
                            Calling yourself an international airline is a joke. That is a severe breach of your security standards and total violation of airline rules of sharing privacy information... Does jet airways operate like this? I think international airlines are better than yours in terms of protecting someone’s information... And how can a staff member laugh it off???
                            Is mr goyal responsible…your chairman if you did not know who he was?

                            As ankita advised that someone else will be taking me through customs and he will wait for me on the other side.. Great!! Everybody is all over the shop.. So finally when i got to the guy he took me straight to the "overweight officer".. The officer seemed like a "nice guy" asks how much over for 2 bags? I said 3kgs.. He looks at the guy who bought me in and chuckled and said really!!! Then he asks me 'what are you taking? I said 3kgs of very very expensive sweets almost 10k worth.. He shaked his head in disgust-a surprise though!! He looks at the guy and said 'kya majaak hai". The guy then says'mere ko siraf inko clear karne key liye bola". What a great answer from another incompetent staff.

                            Hey wait... There is more

                            I am now on the aircraft n its warm!!! I reach my seat n its very warm... Sweating literally!!! I then buckle n feel the air blowing through the nozzle on the bulkhead. Its warm air blowing... I thought the aircraft was air conditioned with the weather touching outside at 41degrees!!! I suppose it’s a "warm welcome" by jet airways... I then speak to the hostess. No name tag!!! We shall call her "miss". Miss its warm... Sir actually it will become cool sooooon...

                            Its 4 hours into the flight n after getting into "triple9" i was feeling like "concussed after watching concussion". Sorry sir "aisa hi hai"

                            A vegetarian being served chicken. Seriously!!! That is all that is left now ‘miss’ says.. What the heck.

                            7 hours into the flight and its getting cooler.. Wow finally just before arrival. Fantastic

                            I was not inclined going in an indian airline because how they are.. It came true with this experience

                            I used to think its a great indian brand, i really did. It’s just a shame such a simple thing could bring it crashing to it’s knees and begging for sustenance.

                            Seriously a joke of an airline..

                              Hi,

                              This email is related to problems my wife has been facing during her ongoing visit to India:

                              On 12 July, my wife and my 4 year old son travelled to India from Kuwait for a visit. Post immigration at Mumbai airport and after waiting for long time, she could not find the luggage. And of course, no one from jet airways bothered (as always) to inform her about missing luggage. When she enquired about her luggage, the jet airways staff mentioned that the the pilot has taken the flight for refueling. Anyways, as all other good ladies, my also did not create any issues and waited with my 4 year old son (who is already tiered and restless due to disturbed night sleep) for luggage at the Conveyor Belt. After 2 hours of waiting no signs of any luggage, conveyor belt stopped long time back. Again jet airways, being a big organization, no one bothered to inform her about the luggage. When she enquired again, she was told that the flight has left for Kuwait. They stated that they will luggage after flight comes back. She is a visitor in India, had to take another flight next day, but no luggage. Since then, she has been calling jet airways several time, but no help. In fact they have been very arrogant in their responses. She had been left out with a kid and no luggage other than here hand purse. She had to purchase all the stuffs again and had been going around jet offices for luggage.

                              This is really sad state of affairs with indian airlines. Whereas, the some of international airlines are providing good services. In this regard, we would be forced to chose international airlines, even for indian visit.

                              Appreciate if you can assist us in obtaining our luggage and compensate for the hardships to my family and to teach lessons to the airline.

                              Jet Airways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                              I have been getting constant emails with my jet privilege number saying that use to book in flights and to get benefits, but whenever i login I'm not being able to as they haven't provided me a card by their end.

                              How do you expect one to login and use the benefits when you dont have a card or the login ID or password.

                                Sir,
                                I booked 4 tickets from dehradun to pune. as there is no direct flight between dehradun to pune i booked connected flight on one pnr number. but i was surprised to see the timing of connected flight.
                                Dehradun to delhi 10 am on 20/07/2016 and delhi to pune 3.30 am on 21/7/2016. there is a gap of more than 15 hours in both the flights. sir when it is a connected

                                Flight the gap should not be more than 2/3 hours. what we will do for 15 hours on airport. airline should make arrangement for our stay for 15 hours

                                  My bags have been misplaced since last 3 days and there have been no active updates from your end. i have to constantly following up leaving all my important work here. i had to also buy stuff for last 3 days. there is still no news about my bag. i need my bag as well as compensation for my time and money spent because for your mistake. hope to get some response here at least.

                                    I have booked ticket from ahmedabad to mumbai for 24th july 2016 in morning flight for rs 1300 and due to some reason i change my flight from jet airways portal in modify booking section and at the time of modifying it was showing extra 900 rs charges after that they remove my name from original ticket and not send any new ticket and now they said i have to pay extra 3000 rs for the same then they will generate a new ticket.

                                      I mst. Aman k jain booked my ticket in jet airways on 6/07/2016 timings:-5.10am i reached at chattrapati shivaji international airport at 4.15 am but then too your members at airport said that you will not get your boarding pass and nor they refunded the money i want my money back i booked for fast service bt then too i waited for 9 hours on the airport are these your services? I want to also tell that how many people would have been ignored or these happened with me only. I want my money as soon as possible or i may take action against it.

                                        Travelled from ams-blr via auh and del. Baggage was missing when i landed at del, there were around 20-25 others who did not get their bags. Registered a complaint (Form attached to this email). Was promised an update by end of day. No update whatsoever, not even via email. Had to call jet airways baggage services, and stay over call for almost an hour before somebody answered with a minor update. Repeated this process multiple times for 3 days before my bags were delivered.

                                        •first thing i noticed was the lock was open (I locked it in ams). Later i opened my bag to see everything was a mess, looked it was stamped by an elephant.
                                        •i had a lot of chocolates, souvenirs, clothes and money in my bag.
                                        •the souvenirs were broken, even though they were bubble and gift wrapped when i packed them.
                                        •i don't want to make an issue of the chocolates.
                                        •i had approx. Usd300 and inr6, 000 (Or 7, 000) in my bag. I don't usually keep money in my checked in baggage but the inr was given by my grandparents when i was leaving to ams for my masters. It had sentimental value, hence i kept them safe in my baggage throughout my stay in ams.
                                        •the money was hidden in a zip lock bag between the two sides of the warranty tag of my baggage. I had my indian atm card in the zip lock.
                                        •the zip lock bag was wide open, with only my warranty tag inside. Managed to find my atm somewhere in the middle of the chocolates. Never found the money.
