Date: 17/8/2016 We were not going to flight due to a passenger was patient and they cancelled the ticket and saying your full amount of ticket will be refunded at kolkata jet airway city office park street, but they do not want to refund the money and saying we have mailed at Mumbai office then i will refund but not yet. I want refund my money anyhow.

Avoid Jet Airways even if they fly you for free.

Very very rude cabin crew and pathetic customer care team who don't respond for over a week on legitimate questions.

This brand is going down the drain.. And it's very sad to see that.

    Travelled by 9w0122 seat no.30j & h, del-htr on 22 aug'16. Vegetarian food quality very poor. First time in my life had bringal curry in flight, that too poorly made, served with maida parotha to test biting and chewing capacity of passengers. No choice of menu for veg while non-veg had selection. Followed by petty that too a run of mill.
    Throughout the flight iexlore (Tracking system) didn't work inspire of complaint.
    Would think twice before travelling next time by your airline.

      HI,
      I traveled from Bangalore to Delhi on 25th of August with flight number: s24838.
      One of my baggage was not found when I reached Delhi. I contacted jet airport desk at arrival and they told me that it was not loaded from Bangalore itself but they were not able to trace it. I loaged a complaint with them with reference number: DEL9W59109.
      It has been more than 24 hrs since I complained but nothing has been done so far.
      They are still clueless about my bag.
      I'm concerned as to the welfare of my luggage asthe concened officials are not ready to share absolutely any inkling about the location of my bag. They are being oblivious to the agony and discomfort that I'm facing.
      Kindly help me trace my bag and please provide me with updated information about the status of the tracing.

        I bought a round trip ticket BLR-HKG-BLR through makemytrip.com for approx. Rs. 26000. Layover sector to HKG was BOM & for the return leg DEL. BLR-BOM-HKG was a good trip. On 2nd Aug morning around 4AM I received a text from Jetairways informing me of the cancellation of the DEL-HKG flight & consequent cancellation of flt 9W 77 from HKG-Del. Because it was less than 24 hours before scheduled departure I was unable to cancel or change the flight through the makemytrip app, on the phone or on the Jet airways app, through Jetairways, airport staff and other methods. Consequently, I was unable to take my connecting flight 9W 811 DEL-BLR on 2nd Aug.

        I booked a separate return on the Jet airways app for a full fare price of Rs 25000 & when speaking to jet airways customer service and staff on Aug 3rd received confirmation that I am entitled for a full refund for the cancelled sector HKG-DEL-BLR.

        Makeytrip agrees, BUT tells me that Jet airways says that the sector flown is valued at Rs 25000 & the sector not flown is valued at approx. Rs 1000 which is the refund I will get. THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS.

        How is the return sector or 50% of the journey valued at less than 1% of the entire purchase. Why is the airline not responsible for replacing the cancelled journey OR I would like a full refund of the new flight ticket that I purchased to replace my return flight.

          Hi,

          We wish to register a complaint for hassles my wife (Ranjana) had faced during (01-aug-2016) her trip from chandigarh to dubai. We had booked the tickets for the journey via cleartrip
          (Trip id:[protected]) jet airways flight (Chandigarh - delhi - dxb). While she tried to board the flight from delhi, she was refused entry by jet airways under the pretext that the visa was "fake"; which was extremely humiliating for her, let alone the trouble we had while arranging for her accommodation and fresh tickets. We later booked another flight (Indigo booking reference:-ybkl4g) on the next day on our own expenses (535 aed) and this time there were no issues while travelling on the same visa. The issue was escalated to jet airways, who accepted lapse at their end and assured to refund the ticket fare for which we were advised to co-ordinate with cleratrip to process the refund. As we checked with cleartrip, they do acknowledge about the refund but are unwilling to refund any money, which is unacceptable. Request your kind intervention for getting this resolved.

          Kindly refer the trailing emails and attached documents for the communication with jet airways and cleartrip.

          As this mistake from jet airways end then there should be no cancellation charges on refund. Even they have to refund full ticket amount because she was traveled from chandigarh and stuck to board
          In flight delhi due to mistake from jet airways end. Delhi was unknown city for her and i accommodate her to my friend’s family till 02-aug-2016.

            I am very disappointed by the poor service offered by jet airways when we needed to make a change to our flight.
            We are due to fly from madurai to canada on the 25th august but due to an urgent family situation we needed to be in chennai on the 23rd ofaugust. I therefore requested to change our flight from madurai to chennai only.
            I spent a very long time waiting to speak to a service agent with jet airways only to be cut off! The second time i called i was informed that i would need to pay $450 to even cancel the madurai-chennai segment of our flight! This seemed totally unacceptable and we then spoke to the floor manager who said that alternately we could go to madurai airport and could make the changes there. We spent at nearly two on the telephone trying to sort this out.
            Today as suggested we travelled hour and a half round trip to madurai airport and spent a further two hours trying to arrange the ticket change, only to be told it was not possible!
            This afternoon i called the india jet airways contact number and again i was cut off twice! When i finally managed to speak to an agent i was informed that i could not change or cancel the madurai to chennai flight without cancelling the whole journey.

            Therefore we are being told that we are forced, by jet airways out-dated and inflexible system to travel only on the 25th august from madurai.

            I find this situation totally unacceptable. I have never experienced such a ridiculous illogical system in my 25 + years of international travel. I can certainly say we will never use jet airways again and we will be sharing our experiences widely to ensure that other travellers are aware of the poor service offered by jet airways in canada.
            A true measure of a company is demonstrated in how they deal with customers in difficult situations and jet airways has failed me in every way. We have wasted hours and hours of time and have received the same unhelpful response at every turn.

            I truly hope that no other person with an urgent family problem has to encounter the jet airways obstructive and ignorant customer service that we have experienced.

              I am writing this email to highlight an extreme amount of discomfort that was caused to me and my daughter while travelling from new delhi, india to winnipeg, canada.

              My name is rakesh bajaj and my daughter's name is mehak bajaj with passport number j8030206 and n2803099, booking references number 8u9wl5 and 8u9vy3.

              We had a flight from delhi to amsterdam on 1st august and then from amsterdam to toronto which got late by 2 hrs from amsterdam which has a flight number 9w 0234 (Jet airways). We had a connecting flight ac 267 (Air canada) to winnipeg which we missed on that day. Then jet airways gave us a new ticket for the next day whose flight number was ac 267 (Air canada) and we lost our 24 hrs.
              We were supposed to reach winnipeg on 1st august but due to this incidence we reached on 2nd august.


              I have travelled to canada to help my daughter get settled in as it is a new country. I was to support her with the processes in registration of courses at the university, find her accommodation, buy text book, open bank account and other such important tasks.

              When we arrived one whole day late, we missed our registration date and appointment with the counsellor at the university. We had to accommodate a few days' worth of tasks in lesser number of days. It would have been easier if we missed a weekend, but it was a weekday, which caused us much more troubles. We also had hotel room booked in winnipeg for certain dates that went unoccupied due to this issue.

              When we book air tickets, we have a tremendous amount of faith in the airlines to make sure that we make our flight on time and reach the destination on scheduled days and times. If we are a couple or three hours delayed, it is understandable but one full day's delay is completely unacceptable.

              Our daughter just started going to university in canada. We expect that we will be flying several times back and forth from india to canada.

              We expect some form of compensation from you for this incidence or we will have to completely avoid your airlines in the future.

                I lost my baggage on hkg to bom flight 9w75 on 11 aug.

                It has been over 7 days, and there is no confirmation on location of the bag yet. How can jet airways not be sure if it is an exchange case or missing baggage case even after 7 days??

                Apart from all this: yesterday, when i called, i was told that the bag is at aurangabad airport, then second time i called they said it's at bombay airport, third time i called they said they have not found the bag, and suspect it to be at hong kong airport.

                What on earth am i supposed to conclude??

                Today, i spoke to 'swati', who again told me bag is at bombay airport, then when i told her to check file again, she said bag is not found, and suspect to be at hong kong airport. When i asked her why the update was wrong, there was no answer. She cut my call, without listening to me completely.
                Is that how an attendant talks to the customer?

                I'm extremely disappointed, please forward this message to relevant authorities. Please.

                  I m travelling to mumbai today i. E. On 18th aug 16 by jet flight 9w 0458 for attending a meeting at 10 am. Since i have to travel from bellary in yday night and to reach airport in morning i do not have option to catch earlier flight. I was carrying a laptop bag and and small suitcase for my cloths for 2-3 days. Jet r ticketing counter manager didn't allowed me to carry both as hand baggage even i requested i am already late for meeting. I m a ffp member with id[protected]. Kindly help me to such situation in future.

I strongly feel such ppl should be publicly exposed...

                      Hi, I travelled in a flight from Singapore Changi Terminal-3 to New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport T-3 on 8th August, 2016 at 1940 with Seat No 28 F. This was the worst flight experience I ever had in my life in a two way flight . Being a Diabetic patient, I requested the flight stewardess to bring SUGAR-FREE or GLUTEN-FREE food and drinks. As I am a senior citizen with age of 63, I require water after every 15 minutes.
                      The flight stewardess did not even attended properly and I was provided with a drink, that is, Coke which was full of sugar and that too in a small amount. The food provided was in a very small amount and even water was not provided (just one time during the meal). Apart from my request for a Sugar free food, no one in the flight came to ask about the requirement. When I asked for a Zero Sugar drink, I was told that Sir, we have this only in the flight. This was totally ridiculous that how could someone be told to have that meal, which he is not supposed to in an international flight and for which i have paid too.
                      This flight was such a mess for me due to which my Sugar level increased and when I reached to my arrival place, I was about to panic of proper food and drinks.
                      I faced the same problem while travelling from New Delhi to Singapore (17th April, 2016) in Jet Airways (QF 3954, Seat No 33K), but I ignored it for the first time as sometimes it happens. But, while coming back, I faced with this issue again, so I am forced to complain for this.

                      This is the reason, why I am asking for my refund. Kindly, take the appropriate action and provide me justice. Ignoring this will force me to post my complain in a social media against Jet Airways.

                        We are forced to cancel our trip due to prevailing violent condition and continued curfew imposed by the government in srinagar, which is beyond anybody’s control..

                        Even if the situation improves, it may not be conducive for tourists to visit in near future also.

                          To the executives of the jet airways,

                          My name is kokkalinga udaya de silva. I am writing this email regarding about a complain that i have for your air lines. I am a canadian citizen and i recently visited sri lanka to see my relatives (July 15th - august 8th). I purchased a two-way air ticket from gala travels and after purchasing it i had called gala travels several times to see if there was anything missing from my ticket. The agents confirmed that my ticket was fine and there wasn’t anything that i should be concerned about. When i left canada on july 15th my route to sri lanka was from ottawa-montreal, montreal-paris, and finally paris-colombo. I will be attaching all of my ticket documents that i had received to this email. When traveling to sri lanka i did not encounter any issues with my ticket nor the air lines. However, after ending my three weeks’ vacation in sri lanka i traveled to the colombo international air port to catch my 9:35 p. M. (August 6th, 2016) flight. I even traveled three hours earlier than my flight time. After entering the air port i showed my canadian pass port as well as my ticket to the jet air ways officers. Then the officers told me that my ticket is not on the system and that my ticket has been canceled. I tried explaining to them several times that i paid the money for my two-way ticket and that i have proof to show them. Not only that, i also asked them to call gala travels so that they can confirm that i am telling the truth. They angrily replied back saying that they simply do not have any time to call. Then, i requested to let me call gala travels and that i will pay them for the call. Once again they declined my request. The officers did not show any sympathy towards me. The only thing they told me is that i will have to go to the sri lankan head office located in york street. However, i will have to wait until monday, which is august 8th, meaning that i will have to stay in sri lanka for two extra days. I was so confused and frustrated when i came out of the air port. After wards, i got into a taxi and in there i called one my relatives and informed him about my situation. He told me to get off the cab and wait until he comes and picks me up. Thereafter, i called gala travels and we talked for more than two hours. The thing that they repeatedly told me was that there wasn’t anything wrong with my ticket and that i should go back to the air port and talk with one of the head officers in the jet air ways. When i returned back there weren’t any jet air ways officers. Then the gala travels agent asked me to stay with my relative and that they will email me a new ticket. After hearing my situation gala travels kept on telling me that they did not do anything wrong and on their system it’s saying that my ticket is valid. So to sum it up i am writing this email because of the money that i have lost for missing an extra day of work, the money that i spent for my traveling expenses as well as my accommodations, and also for the calling hours that i had with gala travels through international calling. When you add all the money together it comes down to approximately cad $3, 000. After reading this email i hope that you will claim my money back. If you are an amazing air line i am sure you will take some action regarding my situation. I am also going to attach gala travels phone number to this email. I am hoping to hear a good reply from you soon.

                            Dear Sir/Madam,

                            I am writing for the attention for your customer experience team.
                            I traveled from Delhi to Doha on 6th Aug 2016 with Jet airways flight no. 9w554 .Unfortunately i didn't receive one of my luggage on that same date and i have to register a complaint which is attached below. But the service for the luggage return was really disappointing as i have to travel back to airport to collect my luggage which is not justified as the service should be done door to door for the mistakes made by the jet airline authorities.

                            Hence consider my request to improve the service and kindly compensate for the same.

                            I have had the same experience with jet. They have failed to deliver my baggage plus now they are totally ignoring all of my emails and calls. Really disappointing. See the attached. The complaint has been registered more than a year ago. Do something about your poor service.

                              I need to cancel the this booking with above reference number : ccqkjk
                              Name : deepak vaishnav

                              I hold a nri savings account in india and i had used that account to make the booking. With the nri accounts credits are allowed only from outside india. If you make a reverse in my nri account it would be rejected by my bank. It has happened already one time.

                              Can you please look into this matter as soon as possible and arrange the refund into my different account which is a normal saving account. Account holder name remains the same. Please try to get back to me asap on this.

                                  On our flight back to Delhi from AUH (Abu Dhabi) Jet Airways did not load my suitcase # July 21st. We were told at Delhi that it will be sent over the next day. Since then it's missing. The only answer i am getting from Jet Airways customer care is that's under "tracing". They have no answer. I have reached out to the supervisor but no one has the courtsey to call us to update the status. Ref No EY 960696.
                                  We are following up as if it's our fault. Never expected such a horren...dous experience with Jet Airways. How can a suitcase go missing from the custody?????
                                  Spoke to the customer care on saturday for update and compensation. I was told someone will reach out to me. I have not yet heard anything yet. They say they have no phone number for the compensation department.
                                  I have lost faith and need immediate intervention from senior officials.
                                  A HORRIBLE & MOST UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE WITH JET AIRWAYS. IT'S YOUR GROSS NEGLIGENCE. I NEED ANSWERS FOR MY LOST SUITCASE AND COMPENSATED APPROPRIATELY. WE HAD EXPENSIVE GIFTS AND OTHER ITEMS WE BOUGHT FROM EUROPE!

                                    Hi,
                                    My parents and sister done web check in for delhi mumbai on 5th aug, 16. They reached airport before 30 min but they didn't allowed to boar flight. Moreover your executive told they will shift to 4.30 pm flight but when we asked for ticket again they refused. When i cancelled my ticket and asked for refund at ezeego1 they are telling they will charge rs 485 as handling fees and u will get nil refund. As per new guideleines of aviation online portal and airline cant charge more than air base fare.

                                        It was pathetic experience with such airline, we have flight for Amritsar today at 0855 hrs but unfortunately due to medical emergency in the family we arrived at 0830 hrs, for same we requested the duty Manager Ms Shivani to help us in boarding the flight but she was not ready to help and was being arrogant with us .. we were 8 passengers including two with medical conditions. Although we booked in June, We were not aware of the critical situation we might land up in.
                                        Need to have complete explanation on above from company.
