My baggage is not yet received. Its been 3 days and i didn't get any updates on that.


In baggage, i have my office laptop, personal laptop, identity card, chocolates, my wallet and office bills. I cant go for office and i wont get salary for these days from 28 jun to till i get my baggage.


I need my luggage immediately asap as we have production deployment.

    I am a journalist and had been associated with many national news papers and journals like Dainik Bhaskar, Nai Dunia, Indo Asian News Service and Amar Ujala. This is an incident about serious lapses and grave mistakes committed by Jet Airways ground staff in New Delhi. I had to catch a Indore bound Jet Airways flight on 14th May 2016 from New Delhi and as per norms I arrived 70 minutes prior to the scheduled flight timings at the airport, my arrival at the gate of terminal could be confirmed by CCTV recording (I hope that CCTV were operational). I joined the check-in queue as soon as I entered the terminal and kept waiting for 25 minutes for my turn. On my turn, I was shocked when staff at the counter denied me the boarding pass, as I had been late and did not arrive 60 minutes prior to the flight timings. Question here is - Whose fault it was? Mine or staff at the counter who were gossiping and chatting with their colleagues and taking more than usual time to clear the queue? I had an important work appointment in Indore and it was very critical to catch that flight on 14th May, even after repetitive request, I was denied the boarding pass and was given no refund for the ticket. I asked Jet Airways official to book ticket for the next day i.e. 15th May 2016, that too on my own expense. Here comes another shock, staff at the ticket counter booked the ticket for 15th March 2017, almost for a year later. I did not review the ticket, as I was not standing at the bus stop but at the airport and I assumed that person on the other side of the counter was very responsible of his/her duty and could hardly commit any mistake in date of booking (Airline ground staff operations are meant to be operated at the highest quality standards – Six Sigma etc.). I simply took the ticket and arrived at the airport next day i.e. 15th May 2016, just to be caught in another date trap. I was denied the boarding pass, as my ticket was of 15th March 2017. I was completely broken down and reported the issue to the officials, but they simply denied help of any kind and poured all lapse on my part, that I should have checked the date of booking earlier and entirely it was my fault. During the discussion, argument and uproar which followed, I was humiliated by the Jet Airways officials and people around were making fun of me. I suffered from kind of an emotional hazard and ultimately I had to be stringent and it was only after I made them realize their mistake that I was given the boarding pass for 15th May 2016 and I travelled to Indore.

    I am bringing this issue to the notice of honorable Consumer Court and top officials of Jet Airways, just to make sure that such kind of incidents does not happen with any other passenger. On one hand government puts Airport security at the top priority and on the other hand if airline ground staff commits mistake of this kind then this may raise question on overall safety of the Airports and passengers. During all this, I went through lots of mental trauma and I request honorable Consumer Court to help me get compensation for all this which Jet Airways has done to me. I know humiliation and trauma I had gone through could not be compensated by any amount of money, but even then at least I deserve the compensation as this mental trauma impacted my health and I had to take rest in Indore for 5 days at the cost of my working days. I request honorable Court to help me get compensation of at least Two Lakh Rupees (INR 200, 000 /-).

      I was supposed to go to Goa by 9W475 on 24thJun and return by AI0662 on the same day ETD1845Hrs.Due to bad weather at Goa 9W475 could not land and returned back to Mumbai was to leave back post refueling. Due this delay I decided to disembark and asked Jet to give me refund for the ticket and which they did but refused to entertain my request for loss due to cancellation of Air India ticket for which I have lost Rs2000/- on account of cancellation. I request Jet Airways to refund that amount. There was another co passenger who also disembarked but was given full refund since he had the next day return ticket by Jet from Gao.As a customer I feel this is discrimination, hence request JET to refund me Rs2000/-lost due to cancellation of AI ticket.

        Dear,

        I am sorry to complain you about the jet airways.
        I tried to book a ticket for mr. S sinha roy from kolkata to delhi, dated 26th june, morning 6:30.
        The overall price was 5200 rupees.
        But 10, 272 rupees was deducted from my bank account during the transaction and no ticket was issued.

        When i contacted the customer care of jet airways, they informed me that i will get my money refunded in 10 days.

        But is that enough?
        I needed to book a ticket urgently for my brother. When 10, 272 rupees was deducted from my bank account (Instead of 5200), and yet no ticket was issued, i lacked enough money to buy a new ticket.

        I informed the call center representative about this situation and requested him earnestly to provide me a ticket and then refund the remaining 5000 rupees to my bank account. He was not able to help me and told me to buy another ticket at additional cost!!!.
        What kind of system is this? First charge twice the amount, and do not give a ticket, and then ask to buy again!!

        I would like to draw your attention and would request you to refund the amount within 2 hours from now in my bank account

        I hope my request will be addressed.

          We ve booked the flight on 16th June and the flight ws at 6.00 pm bit due to sm emergency we reachd at 5.25 pm at the counter of jet airways but the staff didn't let is board the flight as they said the counter is closed now. We really tried hard as the plane ws in the airport and it ws a domestic flight not international and chd is a small airport so we wud ve boarded easily in 30 mins but they didn't allow us and rather they sent us to reservation counter with one of his assistance to book the next flight. On the counter we got the tickets for 65000 which ws sheer ly three time the cost we booked. But at that time that ws the only thing we cud do.

          I want to take up the matter with the higher officials and want a refund of my money as this ws the negligence of jet airway staff . We literally pleaded them as this ws our first experience of flying and also with jet airways.

          Pls treat it as urgent and look to the matter.

            My 8th May 2016 Hyderabad - Mumbai flight (9W7019) turned into a nightmare as the Jet Airways staff just before take off announced that the air conditioning has a technical issue and won't work well. Not that we hadn't felt the air conditioning being sub par before this but we hoped it would sort out before take off. However to our horror that wasn't to be. What's worse is the smug attitude of the airline post this mess; through all their emails and apologies they only say it was an inconvenience nothing about it being a safety hazard. Seriously!!! What if there were heart / asthma patients on board...and the air conditioning wasn't just uncomfortably sub par it was bloody suffocating. In fact one Jet Airways steward even mentioned to me as I complained that there are other passengers too who were sweating...so until then they too realised this was hazardous! Post that all they've been apologising for is a slight / mild discomfort. Disgusting! Anyway I have no expectations from an airline which only few years back plummeted 5000 ft because the pilot was asleep and co-pilot was busy on his tab. Jeopardising passenger safety seems to be part of the job role at Jet it seems. I'm done with this airline for sure...DGCA, Ethiad what about you???

              Sir, we ve to board the flight on 16th June to Mumbai at 6.00 but due to sm emergency we reachd the airport at 5.25 ur staff and crew didn't allow us to board the flight. I agree with the rules and regulations but in case of emergency it shud ve been allowed as plain ws not took off it ws there and we had to pay 66000 Rs extra for another reschedulin. I m really dissatisfied by the behaviour of staff. As we r salaried people and trip costed us the triple. They didn't even gave the facility of adjustment of tickets coz very conveniently they said these r non refundable tickets.
              I want u to take this matter up and see what u can do in this regard.

                  My luggages token no:9w1068 73/72.

                  I arrived on 20th morning 7:15am at trivandrum airport.After routene procedures when i went to receive my liggage.To my shock one of your suprevisors came to me checked my boarding pass and informed me without any regret that my luggage has not arrived and will come by flight on 21st.He filled a claim form and told to followup by phone(contact no given: [protected]).

                  This issue is created by jet airways staff negligence.Due to this i m facing many difficulties.Idont have dress to wear .I m wearing same dress including un der garments from yesterday.Im very much depressed and lost sleep.Ihave to bear taxi charge additonal.I have kept all bills. Today 21st june 2016 i contacted jet airways off in the no given: (contact no given: [protected]).

                  To my shock i got a very casual reply that my luggage is not there it will be sent in next flight tomorrow 22nd june 2016.

                  Is there any guarentee in receiving my luggage tomorrow.

                  Is this the way you treat a frequent fying customer who payed good sum of money and believed in your services .

                  Im working in a firm under pollution control board.I will wait for your response by tomorrow morning.

                  Please do the needful at the earliest.Expecting a good response.

                  After filing consumer complaint.Same day itseif flight personnel responded two three times(9497110890, 9910770970).They confirmed that 2 nos of packages Im expecting.Next day morning I called jet airways trivandrum staff (9497110890) and inquired the luggage status.To my joy, they informed that my luggage has arrived and can be collected in a time frame of 11:00Am to 05:00 Pm. As per informed I went to airport and was received warmly this time by airways staff, They helped me in identifying and collecting luggage. I found that one of my baggage was wet condition. Airways staff apologized for the inconvenience caused and told that they can dry clean the cloths.Since i didn't have time for that I accepted the baggage and notified the matter in writing to jet airways. Jetairways has refunded the taxi fare of Rs 1600 . I want to thank consumer complaint forum for the prompt notification of my complaint to jet airways management, which made things easy in resolving matter fast, Regards C.Balagopal

                    Sir/ madam,
                    I am a resident of mumbai, i along with my family planned a vacation to jaipur from 03/06/2016 to 08/06/2016. We booked our hotels online and along with hotel we booked our round trip ticket with jet.
                    Our tickets were pre-booked in above mentioned flight from jaipur to mumbai for
                    June 08, 2016. We reached jaipur airport at 4.00pm and went to jet konnect counter, there the staff said that the counter is closed and you can't board the flight because the boarding is closed. We were just 5 minutes late the counter was closed only at 03.55 pm. We were 5 adults and 1 child travelling. Our tickets in total cost us rs. 33714/- for round trip. And, we were straight away denied to board.
                    Staff on the counter was so rude, ruthless and incorporative that no one was ready to answer any of our questions and they didn’t help us board the flight even. Staff there literally left the counter and went somewhere because we were asking them to let us board the flight. They completely wasted our time and purposely didn’t let us board the flight. I am sure that they re-sold our tickets and deliberately stopped us from boarding the flight. I want you to show me the details of my seats whether my seats were empty or anyone else was traveling on my seat. If you want you can check the cctv footage of my arrival and how jet staff was behaving when there was ample of time left for boarding. No one was ready to check or corporate. Jet staff said that this is our general protocol and we have to follow the rules. If this is your regular protocol than why is it only for a commoner why can't you be the same with vip's?
                    Let me share on incidence with you, i was traveling by jet airways on february 05, 2016 from bombay to coimbatore, flight no.: 9w 423, timing: 06.10pm our flight was delayed by 20mins just because there was a vip traveling in the same flight and he was late. Isn't there a procedure for vip? Isn't this a mere case of discrimination? Doesn't this shows that jet airways don't care for commoner?
                    On inquiry with your staff we came to know that the flight was overbooked, the next flight to mumbai was also overbooked it had capacity of 156 and ticket sold were 167. This confused us as how can tickets sold can be more than the seating capacity and then we got it, they close the counter and not let the people to board the flight and earn some extra bucks with this tricks. Right in front of me they denied eight people with this trick, among the eight we were the six victims and there was another couple who got caught in their trap. My point here is we lost much more than what you earned by reselling our tickets at last minute premium price. We had to rebook our flight tickets for next day, rebook hotel and vehicle and moreover we had so much of time wasted.
                    For all this inconvenience caused to me and my family, i hereby request you to refund my money as a courtesy gesture. Please do the needful and oblige.

                      I have been informed by your team that my account JP[protected] is suspended.

                      I am writing this email with lot of disappointment kindly look into this matter of serious concern.


                      I have regularly communicated and patiently waited for restoration of my account that has been suspended since May 2016 first under the disguise of routine checkup, for which I have promptly provided all kinds my Personal Identification documents.

                      Later on regular followup to restore my account access, I have been shockingly informed that my account is still under investigation of by your backed team and later suspended on the grounds that there has been some specious activity on my account.

                      I have consistently communicated to them to explain me the situation to understand what their investigation is about and what is suspicious activity. I fear my security and privacy is compromised by your system and I might be the victim of some fraudulent activity on my account without my knowledge. (For which I want your detailed investigation report for my review)

                      Till date there is no revert from your team dispute of repeated attempts to mail and call them to explain the situation.

                      Kindly refer all my emails and call recorder at your end in detail for your customer service purpose.

                      It is evident from the communications that your teams response has been suspicious throughout, they are trying their best to use their discretionary powers to cover up the blunder created by them; or is it part of your corporate / customer service policy to dupe your unsuspecting Privilege customers to deny the right and privileges to the eligible members by use of some of your one sided terms and conditions unfavorable to your members.

                      I am dissatisfied with the way the situation has been handled and there is no attempt by any of your staff to resolve the issue, they have been indifferent throughout (Worst than Air India).

                      Your team is totally disconnected from the real issue and is not capable to handle basic customer service (Refer the call recordings at 5-8 occasions).


                      Kindly resolve this matter to logical and favorable conclusion to my satisfaction within one week failing which you can be rest assured that I will have to escalate this matter further to the highest level.

                        While booking the ticket my title in name was wrong. It should be miss but it booked as mr. I did payment of 1250 inr for name correction. They said they will send me new ticket in 72 hours but i have not received any acknowledgement mail/ ticket anything. I dropped mail at [protected]@jetairways.com for the status, but not received any response yet. I dropped mail on 10th of june and again on 13th june.

                        This is realy very unprofessional. And for only a title change they are charging 1250.

                          On 10 th oh june me and my son and wife travelled from lucknow to delhi vide flight no 9w367(ticket no[protected], 1381, 1382.)
                          AC was not working in plain and when I asked hostess she coolly replied
                          'Sir plain ground main khada hai chaley ga tau AC work karega"as if I was travelling first time in flight. but the ac doesn't worked at all.

                          When I tried to put empty water bottle in tray which hostess was carrying the reply was" Sir aap ko dikh raha hai na ki jagah nahin hai"

                          Iam Privilege member of jet airways and if this is the way jet will treat there customers then day is not far off when jet will be also closed like kingfisher.

                          I would request you to kindly refund my ticket fare.

                          As a good supporter of jet I would request to immediately do the required correction.

                            Dear sir/madam,

                            We had faced a problem on 29th may 2016 having flight no:9w 2660 of trip delayed for which we couldn't able to board our international flight from delhi to shanghai(Mu 564).But we had not got any compensation for this incident. The flight was delayed about 10 hrs.

                            So we need a official communication letter with mentioning the reason for flight delay. And compensation for it.
                            I have attached my ticket copy of international flight which i couldn't able to board the flight.

                              During our recent flt from udaipur to mumbai, flt no 9w2074, we suffered bad, the captain held us up for 30 min, citing high temp, 41 degree temp, with very inefficient AC, then conveyed, his intelligent decision otherwise wd have reqd offloading passengers. on reaching mumbai were summaryly told to fill a form n assuring next morning delivery by 10 am.This caused great inconvenience as our night cloathings were absent. tne next day came the worst part, on enquiring about baggage a mechanical answer that it has been given to wender for delivery.we kept asking as our special box of KESAR MANGOES, were perishable.by noon the response was rude n kind of none of my concern, its between u n the wender. Can somebody be so unconcerned rude n irresponsible? we got baggage at 8pm, with half of eateries crushed n majority of mangoes destroyed.

                                Please note that I took flight (flight # 9W-2492) from Indore to Pune on 3rd Jun (PNR # LPFYPF). On reaching Pune, JetAirways representative provided an update that my baggage was not in the flight and will reach at my home on 4th Jun. This was highly disappointing because there were few items in my bag which I wanted on urgent basis and this had led to tremendous issues at my end. Then in the morning I received the baggage and to my utter disappointment the bag was teared apart. Please see attached screen shot. I already sent email to your [protected]@jetairways.com, but Muzzmill Ali from your customer support is not replying to my concern. I told that person who delivered the baggage to me and he was not having any clue on how bag got teared apart. This bag is from Samsonite and was expensive. How is it possible that bag is teared apart like this? Why such level of mismanagement and poor customer service is provided to me? I want to take an action on this and I also want a replacement with same quality bag ASAP because I need to travel again in next few days. Let me know what is the next step on this so that I can be compensated for my bag. I am utterly disappointed with unprofessionalism of your staff and it is really causing unnecessary issues at my end. I have sent 4 reminders so far and no reply from your company. I will truly take it to the next level if my concern is not taken care of.

                                  This is rupil dev lamsar, i booked the airplane tickets from hdfc credit card and get the ticket of jetairways by redeeming the jpmiles...
                                  We have two ticket journey 2 june for delhi to jodhpur
                                  And 15 june for jodhpur to delhi

                                  On june 2nd my wife travelled and also taken two way return ticket for my baby they charged 2870 rs for infant (Both sides) they gave the print of ticket at igi airport delhi
                                  But unfortunately my wife misplaced the combined ticket in which infant is added.
                                  We had conversation with jet airways customer care but they are saying that you infant is not added in the ticket...
                                  If infant is not added in ticket then how the infant travelled when i have boarding pass copy of my baby...

                                  So please take actions for this..
                                  I have some attachments which are necessary and helpful for you...

                                  1. Boarding pass of my wife
                                  2. Boarding pass of my baby (Puyol) which clearly shows pnr number same as on my wife's

                                  Pnr no. Is : ruyqvo

                                  Ticket no of wife is :[protected]
                                  So i requested them to kindly resolve and provide me a copy of ticket which is having names of both my wife and my infant son puyol.
                                  Marked several mails on different addresses but no reply came. And the automailer says they will get back me soon but that also not happening.
                                  Please help me as next journey is just 4 days away.

                                    I harsh taunk travelling to goa from raipur by your airlines by flight no:- 9w 0378 rpr mum & connecting flight no:- 9w 2384 mum goa with pnr no:- dhpgqq.
                                    For which we checked in at raipur airport and submitted the luggage at raipur counter for which the luggage was locked and sealed at raipur. But when we reached goa and received the luggage in damaged condition in which lock and seal of the luggage was broken and the cash rs. 5000/- was also stolen which was in the luggage.

                                    We have complained this at goa airport in written to mr. Abhinav shetti[protected]. Please look in the matter and solve the problem as soon as possible.

                                      This is with reference to pnr no. Vnyeyv. Would like to submit the following with regard to this booking:
                                      A) we are 7 passengers travelling to jaipur in the month of august 16. Of the 7 passengers, 4 passengers are travelling from bangalore and other 3 passengers are from visakhapatnam. The journey is booked through jet airways, presuming that there would be no hassles, further the booking is made much in advance so that it can booked at better rate.

                                      B) we have been informed that the ticket booked for 3 passengers of whom two are senior citizens and one is child below 10 years vide pnr no. Vnyeyv is cancelled as the flight from delhi to visakhapatnam is cancelled. When i have requested for options for rescheduling the same, they have informed that only option is to travel through mumbai which will have layover time of more than 15 hours in mumbai. They have denied for any facilities like accommodation during this layover period and have informed that only option available is refund of amount.

                                      C) along with the above mentioned ticket, we have booked for remaining 4 passengers travelling to bangalore through pnr no. Vnnykw. Would like to mention that as my parents are old, i have ensured that for these 4 remaining passengers, i booked flight in the same aircraft from jaipur to delhi and then from delhi i have booked flight that would depart 1 hour later than visakhapatnam flight, so that i can ensure my parents have safely taken their flight.. The journey is on 21st august from jaipur to delhi and then delhi to visakhapatnam. This is done in spite of the fact there were better options like direct flight, better rates are available only to ensure that my parents are taken care.

                                      D) in the given circumstances, i have requested the airline executive to either provide my parents with better option or help us by cancelling both pnr mentioned in clause (B) and (C), so that i can recheck option by which i will ensure safe travel for my parent before taking flight back from jaipur. However, both the options are denied to me

                                      E) already i am undergoing all this pain because of no wrong from my part. I would
                                      A. Lose money because the air fares have increased now and i have to bear the differential
                                      B. Lose complete faith on this airline. I have selected this airline presuming that would not act like other low cost carriers, however, i being proven wrong
                                      C. All this is being done when i have already finalized the itinerary and paid to travel agent, which means i cannot even cancel my trip.

                                      F) hope this mail is taken in right spirit and justice is done. Awaiting early reply as every delay is only adding up the cost.

                                        I am so disappointed with the serviceof jet airways.
                                        My family travelled from dammam to calicut on 06.06.2016.
                                        My pnr for the flight was cualzy. Though my luggage was under weight, cure memeber insisted to put handbag together with baggage items.
                                        On my arrival at calicutdammam, i found out that my baggage had not arrived, even my hand bag which contains most important documents, medical reports, unavoidable medicines, daily consumables and toiletries. They intentionally insisted to put the hand bag together with laggage and not even delivered on arrival time. Faced a lot of probloms with ja staffs. After hours of waiting staff collected the details of luggage and told us to wait for their call. Bu they didn't call us. When we went ther by taxi around 1'o clock, ja staff told us that they closed the couner and informed to come back again next day. Again we called taxi and went there for laggage and got the laggages, but the laggages were opened and broken its locks and damaged its zip. Due to their carelesness faced lot of probloms and proprty damage. They compesnated only one time taxi charge.
