Though jet airways was my preferred carrier, i had a very biter experience during my journey yesterday.
I traveled from calicut (ccj) to lucknow (lko) on[protected], through jet airways with transit through mumbai and new delhi. the pnr is wlewnv.
The moment i collected by baggage from the lucknow airport, it is noticed that the baggage was irreparably damaged due to the rough handling by the ground handling team. hence, i seek compensation from jet airways fro the losses and related mental stress it caused on me.
Further to it, i just want to narrate the great ordeal i underwent at lucknow airport, yesterday, in this regard due to the arrogance of the jet airways officials there.
I have noticed the damage caused to the luggage the moment i collected it from the conveyor belt. though i searched for the officials of jet airways, none was seen around. at last, since there were no other option, i checked with some of the airport officials and security personnel available there and they suggested me to approach the jet airways counter, which was just out side the 'departure lobby'.
The moment i reached in front of the jet airways counter (around 7.40 pm), the lady inside the counter has shouted at me saying that 'the counter is closed', without inquiring with me my requirements. when i told her that i have approached the counter not to avail any services, but to lodge a complaint, she coolly told me that, i must approach the jet airways officials inside the airport, though she is very much aware that, i can't reenter the airport. when i pointed out this, she has affixed a stamp on my boarding pass with her signature and told me to get into the airport through the 'departure' gate. though i have pointed out her that, i will be denied admission, she specifically told me to get inside through the 'departure' gate.
When i approached the 'departure' gate, the security officials have stopped me there and told that i can't enter the airport. again i went back to the jet airways counter. the lady, rather than talking to me have shown some gestures and asked me to again approach the security personnel. once again i approached the security personal, but they stick on their stands.
When i explained the situation to the security personnel, they helped me by calling the concerned person (one mr mohd mohsin haider) from jet airways.
The moment i explained my grievances to mr haider, he, without even looking into the issue and putting an apology, straight away ridiculed me in front of all assembled there, that, the damage to the luggage was caused not because of the rough handling, but because my luggage is of sub-standard quality. he was very adamant to hear my contentions and even was not willing to accept any complaint from me, squarely refusing everything and directing me to call your 'call centre'. when i asked for his business card, he refused. since all my efforts went in vain, i have taken a photograph of mr haider's identity card just to ascertain the individual with whom i had discussions. he again ridiculed me in front of everyone by asking me further that 'do you need anything else' with a gesture resembling to unbuttoning of his shirt.
The rough handling of my luggage by your ground handling team had caused me financial loss and related mental stress. adding to it, the disgusting and ridiculing behaviour of your officials at lucknow airport has humiliated me in front of all present there and had a sever impact on my well being.
I seek adequate compensation for the financial loss and mental stress caused to me because of the above mentioned incidents, otherwise, i will be constrained to initiate suitable recourse action against all responsible.

    I have a co brand hdfc card and the reason why i got this card was because i could accumulate the jet miles. the jet privilege team refuses to do so and asking for my bank account information as a proof that the card has been issued and purchases made. i had forwarded the same to a mr dastagir anwar, in a png format so he could review the statement in ms paint. he refuses to do so and wants a pdf format. i have to edit the pdf file to mask my account number for which i have to download another application. i am unwilling to expose, my account number through the internet.
    I am beginning to feel this is a scam, will expose this greatly including to the complaints board unless proven otherwise.

      Dear sir, this is to highlight to you about the worst experience my brother at jet airways counter at mumbai airport tonite. he had a connection flight from mumbai to kozikode via indigo airline (6e-129, pnr: d9485j) which was missed due to delay caused by 9w-7134 (pnr: bqvjtf) nagpur to mumbai on 9th july. jet airways didnt give any compensation or alternative solution to handel this situation. instead the supervisor on duty was asking us to purchase new ticket for next day. this is totally unacceptable way to approch a passanger who have missed his flight, time and money due to delay at your side. i humble request you to re-look in to this case and provide us a compensation at the earliest. i believe your orginisation is highly reputed and will not try to lose your fame in these pitty issues.

      Dear Sir

      On London-Dhaka-London sector one change of date is allowed free of charge. But the Dhaka Jet Airways agent charged me BD Taka.21, 501.00 for changing one ticket to 06 September'16 and one to 06 October'16.

      An important attraction of travelling in Jet Airways is the one free change of date.

      I have been wrongfully charged this amount and request a full refund.

        I flew jet airways flight 9w515 from abu dhabi to bangalore business class on 1st july 2016. my bag didn't arrive. i kept following up with them for one week and their response was like "once it arrives we will inform you".
        Finally, i got it on 9th july which they delivered at my home. the jet airways guy never informed me over the phone that the bag is completely damaged. they just delivered it. the bag is damaged such a way that there is a big "see-through" whole in the front. see the attached picture. even my valuables are stolen.
        No response from jet airways when i sent an email to [protected]@jetairways.com. when i called them they have a stereotype answer "we will look into it and get back to you".

        I want them to compensate me for bag delay as well for bag damage and stolen stuff. i need help from this forum.

          Two baggages checked in at bangalore airport and we were travelling to varanasi on 6th. flight had one stop/via delhi and we were supposed to board delhi to varanasi.
          Baggage didn't reach varanasi. for two days they were not able to find the baggage. finally when they traced them and handed over the baggages to third party to deliver it to me, they missed giving them one bag. so only one bag is delivered to me on 8th evening by this agency guy. agency people were also given only one bag at airport to handover and is written in attached file.

          One bag out of two are delivered to today. Since I had my travel plan for 5 days (6th to. 10th), I had to spend a lot of money for my clothing, phone bill and travel to Varanasi airport again yesterday(7th), to collect my original boarding pass and baggage sticker collected by jet airways staff to raise PR internally.
          Another thing is they asked me to collect my baggage from airport itself instead of delivering it to me. Due to my further travel schedules I had asked them to hand over my baggage to me at nizamuddin railway station today as I was supposed to catch my next train to Amritsar. Only one bag is delivered to me at railway station.
          Today received my second missing bag in sealed condition few minutes before. When opened it in front of the guy delivered the baggage (Mr. Anand from Sindhu cargo) noticed that bag is damaged and number lock put on bag is also missing. Instead of our number lock, one plastic lock was put. Opened it completely and noticed that inside of the bag is damaged and some items are missing. Mainly we had a small red coloured cash bag in which there was some cash which is missing now. We had one bundle of Rs. 10 and 5000/- (500x10) and 1200 (100x12) in it along with some coins. Only coins remain, but cash is missing. It was shown to Mr. Anand from Sindhu Cargo.

          Need compensation for all if this and also we had to spend a lot during our 5 day journey without our baggage as clothes, father's medicines etc was to be purchased.

            My baggage was missed by the jet airways on 7th july morning while traveling from abu dhabi to bangalore.
            While the company representative told on landing that the baggage will be delivered to my address on the same day. Its been more than 24 hrs and the airline does not have courtesy to update me on my baggage. Every time i call the customer care they informs that the baggage is still missing.
            Pathetic service from jet airways and they claim that they are best airline

              Want to highlight that the jet airways handling of delayed baggage and compensation department sucks.

              Here is what i and my spouse is facing from last one month.

              1: our baby stroller and baby car seat was delayed. after doing a follow up almost 7 days we received a call that the baggage is found, we were happy to know this, but when the man came with the baggage he bought only the baby car seat and the stroller was still missing.

              2: we continued doing a follow up for next 10 days and then they said we are getting your stroller and since we were not available to check the stroller, the person who took the delivery on our behalf, just took what the jet airways service member gave him. when we saw the stroller, we found it does no belongs to us. the funniest thing about the members working in “delayed baggage” department is that, they have asked us for the image of the lost stroller and we did provided them and still they ended up in sending us the wrong stroller. our stroller was not in black color and they end in sending us black color stroller. this proof how carelessly some of the members are working in “delayed baggage” department.

              3: we called them and went back to airport to returned the stroller. this wasted our 3 hours and the money. “this proof they don’t have value for time and money “

              4: again we continued doing a follow up and they kept on saying we are looking into it. one day we called they said, they have send a pic of our stroller, please verify and let us know if that is the right one. these people just lie, they end up in sending an email to incorrect email address. even though i corrected the address they are still sending email. “this poofs there are liars also in this department”.

              5: we continued to do a follow up and now they said the compensation department is working on the compensation part and its almost more than a month they are still working on it.

              Can someone from high authority from jet airways, see the way these people are working. they are ruining the life of common people.

                I have been a platinum member with jet airways for more than a year via jp no[protected]. they have abruptly suspended my account permanently and claim that some activities that don't comply to their membership was carried out in this account. they have not provided any further information on this. i am not aware of any such activity. i need detailed information on why my account was suspended. it had 1, 50, 000 miles that jet has now restricted access to.

                  Kindly take this is very serious. Your office informed about the change in the departure timing . And in my clarification to your staff ; as the connect on flight of my daughter Sanchez could not match because of your time change, your staff told me that I can cancell the ticket and get full amout refund As the canncellation is due to the 're sheduling of your flight timing. On this assurance only, I cancelled the ticket expecting to get the full charges refund. On contrary to your promise ; your office issuing the refund of Rupees one hundred and twenty eight.pause to me.So please take this matter very seriously and send full amount to me at the earliest to my account.

                    I had flied on 4/7/2016 from Saudi via connecting flight from Dubai to India. by the time i reached india at the airport i came to know my luggage was not come from dubai so the authorities promised me it will be delivered to me the next day before 1 noon but i dint receive the same. after dat i went to the airpot to check but no body gives u any info abt the luiggage dey give u 100 numbers & ask us to call & we dint got any response till today. nor der is any updation in the tracking page

                      Hi Jet Airways team,

                      I am writing this in utter frustration towards delayed baggage services provided by Jet Airways.

                      I travelled on 1-Jul-2016 from Munich - Amsterdam - Delhi by flight 9W 8707 (from Munich to Amsterdam, Operated by KLM) and 9W 0233 (from Amsterdam to Delhi).

                      When I reached Delhi on 2-Jul-2016 (12:15 AM), I came to know that none of my 5 bags reached Delhi due to belt failure at Amsterdam. I was told that I will be contacted by Jet Airways team and my baggage will be delivered to my home on 2-Jul-2016 itself.

                      Knowing the operational cause which can happen anytime, I understood the reason and cooperated in all possible manner by submitting all the details. I was given call center number from where I can get updates as well.

                      To my surprise:

                      1. Call center team never had any update about my baggage even after 36 hours. Called them twice/thrice daily for the updates. They always said they have not received any update from Amsterdam airport.

                      2. Never received any update from Jet Airways team if my baggage is traced and by when it should reach Delhi.

                      3. Suddenly on 3-Jul-2016 night, I received a call at 9 PM. Person said he is coming to deliver my baggage to my home. But he came with only 3 bags out of 5. Two are still missing with tag numbers (220212 and 220327).

                      It has been 4 days and I still do not have any update about my remaining two bags and I was never contacted by Jet Airways team for any updates.

                      Please stop lying that Jet Airways team contacts customers to provide updates about their delayed/lost baggages.

                        Issue: baggage delay (loss?)

                        No one is attending the number at mangalore airport since 2 days (almost 118 attempt made so far)
                        No communication from jet airways
                        No reply to mail sent to jet airways

                        This is really very frustrating experience with jet airways.

                          Bengaluru airport arrived at 1:30 am, international arrival on domestic transfer.

                          A case of 'really don't care for the customer'.

                          No facility for baggage drop after customs. have t hold on to baggage and be in arrivals hall till 3:30 and we know jet operates on typical ist. arrivals hall has no facility nor great seating space.

                          Is this what we call great customer service?

                            I was travelling from New Delhi to Aizawl via Guwahati in Flight number S2 4687, seat number 15E on 3 July 2016. Many passengers deboarded at Guwahati airport and one of which took my Lapto instead of His/her. I handed over the laptop to Airlines staff and asked to trace mine. I have also informed the Lungpei who assured to trace the laptop but has not succeded till now.

                                Dear Concern,
                                we had a flight with jet airways dated on 2nd July-2016, which was a very bad experience for us.
                                our flight was scheduled to departure by 6 Pm which was departed at 9 Pm from Mumbai airport secondly we were 2 passenger with same PNR and seat was allotted to only 1 passenger during boarding checking and second person was suggested to fly on next flight for Jaipur which was completely unauthentic post our several request second person was allotted other seat in other series which was completely embarrassing for us and it was due to over booking done by Jet airways.
                                flight was delayed for 3 Hours in departure due to that our connecting journey for Jaipur was impacted and we had a big economic loss.
                                it was really an a pathetic experience with Jet airways. post cheking in flight all passenger had wait for 1 HRS inside of craft.

                                  We have booked a Return ticket from Delhi to Dehradun vide Airline PNR No. GTQWLB for Dates 06.06.2016 and 08.06.2016 in the name of Nikhil Gupta and Monika Gupta.
                                  But due to some medical condition Monika Gupta could nit travel on the said dates.

                                    I am with my family were travelling from kuwait to cochin via abudhabi on 9th june 2016 and we had received boarding pass from kuwait for jetairwsys abudhabi to cochi.we reached at abudhabi airport as per schedule time but jet airways denied to carry us .we were around 50 passengers.                                       Dear Sirs

                                      We came back from Bali on night of 6th June"16 We recd. our brand new bags in damaged condition, shown to airport staff and a claim form was filled. One bag bottom cracked and on second too many scratches all around.

                                      Recd. a reply from Jet on 9th June and gave them details of bags being brand new bought from spain on 24th April'16. Jet offered eventually on 11th June via email a claim of Rs.10K in absence of bills / warranty card as per mail below:

                                      WE would require the bill and warranty of the bag as same needs to be shown to our head office.

                                      In absence of bill and warranty we can pay INR10, 000/- for both the bags .

                                      We called Mandarina Duck, Barcelona and got a duplicate invoice and sent them on 14th June. After that I have written them several times with reminders - all copies on email available and they replied on 21st June stating now they can only pay Rs.5K as compensation

                                      It is very strange for such a large organization to behave so unprofessionally and first try to settle by offering an amount and later back out when actual bills are available. The bags were brand new as they saw in invoice which I bought from factory outlet in Barcelona.

                                      1. Why ask for bills when you do not have value for that.
                                      2. make commitment and then back out

                                      We asked for replacement of same brand and not even cash BUt this is how they are troubling customers who simply complained under rules and did use loud words or shouted at them.

                                      I did hear falling standards of Jet airways in last years but this is pure communication issues and having a policy in that oragnisation.

                                      Hoping for a revert to solve the issue

                                        I have had the most horrible experience in business class on 15th june 2016 from amsterdam – mumbai. I used 3 vouchers to get mysel[censored]pgraded and the seat turned out to be like a ‘graveyard with a tv’. If you stretch your legs then you cannot even bend your legs and your legs go right below the seat of the passenger in front. It is so tight that you cannot even move and breathe properly. I am appalled that jet airways calls that business class. My flight details were 9w 231 on 15th june 16. This is misrepresentation of facts and i have uploaded pictures of the horrible seat that jet airways calls 'business class'. My vouchers are wasted and it was a horrible experience!

                                        I have already written to jet airways customer services team and have got a standard response that they will pass on the feedback which has no meaning for me! (Reference - membership number[protected] peqjth bom/cci/200616/4671158)
