    Dear sir,



    I had purchased Kelvinator 190 Ltr. Refrigerator from M/s. Darshan Enterprises, Daman vide their bill no. 55 dated 17th May 2008. I am giving below details.

    1. Model No REF KD 195 LA Serial number[protected] &[protected] (as mentioned in bill)
    2. Compressor failed & complaint lodged on 1st April 2010 - reference number SUR [protected]. Compressor replaced on 30th April 2010 after making payment of Rs.1500.00 towards gas refilling charges.
    3. Compressor failed again on the same day i.e. on 30th April 2010 & complaint lodged on 1st May 2010 - reference number SUR[protected]. Compressor replaced on 22nd May 2010.
    4. Compressor failed again on 1st June 2010 & complaint lodged on 3rd June 2010 - reference number SUR[protected].
    5. Mechanic visited on 5th June 2010, checked the freeze & informed that compressor failed & needs to be replaced.
    6. Consequetively 3 compressor failed during the period from 1st April 2010 till date & freeze worked ran hardly for 8 days during this period.
    7. I request you to replace the refrigerator immediately instead of replacing compressor only & refund the amount of Rs. 1500.00 charged for gas refilling.

    Refrigerator — informed as compressor replacement

    Dear Sir,

    I have purchased a Godrej Refregirator from Vembu and sons, Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu some time back and is well within the grarantee period. I met with some problem with that fridge and lodgaed a complaint with ur service centre MALLI REFREGIRATIORS HERE AT Tiruchirapalli on 25the september against the complaint No.569. The people at the service centre took 5days to call and came for a check up on 30 the september. They informed that the compressor is out of order and needs to be replaced and also said replacement of compressors is not available. They also proposed a charge of Rs.1200 for gas filling and Rs. 250 of transport and also some charges for amc. My basic doubt is only how long the people at the service centre will take to replace the compressor. Besides is it a fact that compressors are not available with them. They just kept silent without giving me any information and finally i taalked to the owner and he said he will arrange for the transport of the fridge and soon the compressor is obtained he will set right things. Dear sir is it the way to deal the customer making him to run from pillor to post and that too an agency for a reputed company. I have felt the need during ramzan an important function. My request to see that the customer is given feed back and treated well. I have never met such an incident for any of my appliances from Godrej. Will it not be a fact that because of the poor responce from a service centre will it not spoil the image of the company where i have high esteem and hence this mail. Try to do the best.     I HAVE PURCHASED A REFRIGRATOR IN DEC 2004 WITH A COMPRESSOR GURANTEE OF FIVE YEARS. NOW MY REFRIGRATOR IS NOT WORKING DUE TO COMPRESSOR FAULT .THE SERVICE CENTRE IS NOW LINGER ON THE COMPLAINT BY SAYING THAT THE MODEL IS OLD WE HAVE TO TAKE THE SANTIONED FROM COMP. AUTHORITY.

      I have purchased Kelvinator Fridge S.No. [protected] for Rs.13000 from Atul Radio House, Railway Road, Ghaziabad, U.P.

      This fridge is having water leakage-problem since the day we bought it. Many times maintenance engineer of your company came and fixed the problem temporarily. Meanwhile I have also requested to change the piece, but your company only assured me that the problem will be solved soon. But still I have this problem of water-leakage. and out of few complaint numbers one is 752 and other complait numbers are supposed to be in your record. Plz try to solve the problem as soon as possible.

      Kelvinator Refrigerator — water leakage

      Dear Sir/Madam

      I had purchased a kelvinator Refrigertor from Gopal radio Indore M.P.. After 1 month of purchasing, this machine automatically off and after some 20 or more minutes the refrigetor will be on and also the complain the leakege of water.
      When I called the dealer, they have taken the complaint and they send the engineer Mr Asraf he came and taken the photograph and told that it is unrepairable and this piece had to change this he given in written. This person send by Mr. Raj pathak ([protected]) after this I called him several times but after that just they escalating time but not done any thing .i have all complaint no:are as followsIND[protected],IND[protected],IND[protected] but from the day till date I not get anyresolution because of this I effort so much loss. so sir i want to replace this machine other wise we should go to consumer forum.

          sir i am a citizen o[censored]p aligarh.i had taken a fridge kelvinator mod no-kal.2331 on 17.10.09 from goyal electronics on ramghat road .the problem in our fridge is that there is no proper cooling and the things kept in the fridge gets spoilt.we even tried to tell our problem to the sales man he told that its not their problem so they gave us a number of customer calll center .we called there and a man came at our house who checked our fridge and told that there is gas porblem so sir i please request you to give us another fridge in place of the fridge that we have.

            this is bharathi from chennai i had registered a complaint they came and charged Rs 2500 and filled the gas still it is not working now only option left to me not to believe these service people in chennai come tel fir st it is to be serviced they took Rs350 next they told timer is not working they have changed and replaced i dont known whether they replaced the original one then after repeatedly complaining they came and filled the gas it is still not working now let me known what kind of service you are going to provide me

              Kelvinator Refrigerator — Required service at Bubaneswar

              I bought a Kelvinator Double door fridge (Model/Chasis No: KRV 375FF) from Horizon Enterprises, Ernakulam on[protected]. Now for the last one month, the refrigerator unit below is not cooling at all. The freezer compartment is working fine but the main unit below is not cooling.                 i'm Vijay karthick from madurai, tamilnadu. i purchased our product(Kelvinator refridgerator 180Ltrs) on 4th Oct 2009 from Jainsons, madurai.
                From Last week on wards our fridge is not working, i have already araise a complaint to your customer care (Contact No:[protected] but there is no responce from there, again i went to Jainsons show room yesterday & file a complaint. today they came to home and checked the Machine. after that they said it's not Fridge problem it's a VOLTAGE problem. Actually the machine requires 200Vt But here it comes only 190Vt. But i'm using with the Stablizer only, how it is possible???
                At the same time my Neighbour Are also using some other company fridges but that are all functioning well.. i'm not satisfied this this service.. Really i feel bad about the service & Product.. it's a summer time we can't even a bottle of cold water..

                Dear sir,
                I had purchased a Kelvinator Refrigerator on 5th september 2010 from MGB Electronics, Tirupur, and since then this machine has been giving trouble like IMPROPER WORKING, COOLING.

                When I called customer care they have taken the complaint.The call was attended by the local mechanics.The Refrigerator again failed to function next day after repairing .The complaint again attended by the same mechanic & the result is same .After third complaint the mechanic traced the fault that in minor in nature & it was Relay switch replacement. Again the fridge taken to service care, but am not satisfied with their reply, plz take immediate action.

                  I had purchased a Kelvinator Refrigerator on 28th March 2010 from Shree sharda Enterprises,Bilaspur, and since then this machine has been giving trouble like improper working,abnormal shut down & cooling.

                  When I called customer care they have taken the complaint and given the complaint reference number as RAI[protected] on 19th March 2010,The call was attended by the local mechanics having improper knowledge.The Refrigerator again failed to function next day after repairing .I again lodged a complaint vide complaint No- RAI[protected] on next day. The complaint again attended by the same mechanic & the result is same .After third complaint the mechanic traced the fault that in minor in nature & it was Relay switch replacement. Again the fridge failed to function on 7th may 2010 .I have lodged the Complint at local office at Bilaspur on 8th may 2010 .

                  Looking at the multiple faults in the product ,I request you to replace the Refigerator by a new one.This is the one of the faulty product I have ever seen.

                  Hoping for quick solution to this matter at the earliest.

                    my kelvinator refrigerator is out of order from last 15 days.
                    i filed a complaint in the company office at ahmedabad india
                    the response is too poor.
                    I was told it will be working in 48 hours. The thermostat switch has gone.
                    the fridge is still out of order.
                    the temperature here in india now is around 45 degress
                    my food and milk and all the daily stuff gets spoiled.

                      Dear Sir,

                      This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of KELVINATOR make (Model No.180L KD 185B-A) on 23 JAN 2009 from Naresh Appliances, 102, M.G. Road, Puducherry – 605 001 and since then this machine has been giving trouble like, improper cooling, insulation problem, fan problem etc.

                      For the past one month my refrigerator is not giving proper cooling and I have complained to the Authorised Service centre, the machine has been assessed by the VG Customer Service Authorised service centre of M/s. Sree Susmee Electronics No. 126, Kandhappa Mudaliar Street, Puducherry. The Service Engineer had approached our residence on dated 28 March 2010 and checked the refrigerator and stated that the gas has to be refilled in the refrigerator and around Rs. 1000/- will be the service charge. But the same was not rectified by the same engineer and he left house stating about these expenditure. Till 20 April 2010 the engineer didn’t visited back to my residence. We regularly contacted the Service centre but we have not received any proper response from the service centre finally on 20 April 2010 another service engineer visited my residence and checked my refrigerator and he stated some other problem which was so contradictory from the previous service engineer’s statement and he stated an expenditure around Rs.3000/-. Finally he said that it can be reduced to Rs. 2500/.

                      Being a customer we were totally confused with the contradictory statement by both the engineers and huge variation in the servicing charges too. In this regards I need a proper explanation for these contradictory statement from your good office and also the rectification of my refrigerator.

                      As I am working as an Vocational Instructor in the VRC, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India, Puducherry, So that, I requested one of our senior Instructor of AC and Refrigerator of Men ITI, Puducherry to identified the actual fault in my refrigerator. During his assessment he stated that the major problem is due to the compressor of my refrigerator only. Hence he suggested me to launch a complaint regarding this to your good organisation and he stated that the compressor is having warranty for five years, so that the company can change the same in free of cost.

                      As I am a working women and the refrigerator is more essential for me and I am facing the regular problem with this refrigerator. So that I make a humble request to your good office to take up this matter immediately and kindly resolve my problem as earliest as possible.

                      S 180 — Regarding not working of Refrigerator

                      Dear sir,
                      We have given complaint to Akash Stores in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh about the faluring of refrigerator on 2nd AUg. 2008.
                      Today service engineer had come for checking the refrigerator. After checking he has told that wehave been see it tomorrow because we have not time for checking taday.

                        i have same problem with my refrigerator which i have purchaged before 40 days ago.

                        I have purchaged it from Kalpana Enterprise, Vadodara. The model number is : KFL 185.

                        From the first day i realized it is not giving proper cooling and after 20 days my doubt became realistic and my refrigerator stopped working.

                        I have complaint about it and after lots of phone calls to the service center they sent a service who have told me that the GAS is chocked up and it needs to carry to the workshop.

                        I refused to do that and forced them to replace it but they have not proceed to do that and again after lots of phone calls they send the vehicle to carry the refrigerator to the workshop but after that they had told me that the refrigerator had oil in the thermostate pipe, i do not know about it too much, but what about the service man had told me?

                        Now, after repairing of the refrigerator, with in 10 days means yesterday again my refrigerator stopped working and the complaint center phone call is not connected.

                        What should i do?

                        Main thing is that, within 40 days of purchage of the refrigerator i am facing too much problems so, i would suggest other peoples, not to by the kelvinator refrigerators.

                          Hi,

                          I am one among the most frustrated user of Kelvinator user, I am sure there will be more by looking at the level of service which this company is provided with their crap outsourced partners.

                          Before I start what went wrong I need to just high light that Outsourcing will work in countries like US or UK as for them customers are king and in countries like India customers are just dump yards whom these cos are cheating with advertisements.

                          I bought this refrigerator {PEF:KAL233IH-RFB –[protected]} (better to mention this as good cupboard as I never saw this cooling for a long time after 3 months of purchase).

                          I bought this for the new year 1st Jan 2010 and gifted to my mother and she now feels that why she gave birth to me, as now the Indian middle class is that depended with Refrigerator.

                          The issue started when we heard a huge noise from the freezer and all milk started to get spoiled. We switched off the cupboard and gave a call to given number which is[protected] it was a call center from Bangalore, and they replied with a complain number CHE[protected] and informed us that we will get a person looked into it within 24hrs and after 3 follow up calls we got a person 48th hour and he told everything is fine and if the same issue persists please give a call with out switching off this refrigerator (he was claiming it as one).

                          After 2 days same problem we called the call center and gave a complain with ref to CHE[protected]. And again there was a around 12 follow up calls to find the status but no one turned up till this time (1 PM IST – 15APR2010).

                          I am really getting irritated when these call center people tell me that they are here to help me for 10 times even my case doesn’t move an inch.

                          After my 12th Follow-up call I got a number of one Mr Dilip Kumar[protected] I did around 10 calls to this number and just spoke with the receptionist but never spoke to this guy and to my surprise I got a news that the case is assigned to this guy on 13th April and 14th being off they will look into it today which is 15th April 2010. I am sure this wont end here.

                          I am sure we are loosing lot of power (electricity) here because of the fault in the cupboard, but still we are not swithing it off (for 4th day) as per request.

                          As this service level is worst then the worst I request any of your help to change this cupboard to Indian brands like Videocon or Godrej refrigerator.

                          I will be posting this in all possible consumer forums as I want all my fellow people to think twice before they buy this product.

                            Vide my letter under reference it was requested that the door of the Fridge is not properly aligned which has resulted in loss of cooling, continuous running of compressor & continuous burning of inside lamp as push button is not operated due to mis-alignment of door. Also some cracks have developed on both the end of front top of the fridge.

                            At that time the fridge was under warrantee and the authorized dealers M/s Bombay Electronics, Station Road, Near Martindal Bridge, Ajmer had rectified the defects after approaching to your firm vide letter under reference (ii).

                            I am very sorry to inform you that after lapse of 02 years we are facing same problems as mentioned above inspite of handling the fridge very carefully and not utilizing to its full capacity but still the same defect has been reoccurred which seem to be due to design defect of Top of Fridge which has to bear the total weight of front door and needs further reinforcement according to the load.

                            I am the regular costumer since last 30 years of your reputed products and in past I had never faced such type of problems. As same problem might be faced by other honourable customers which may not be in position to approach to your good self will definitely affect the reputation of your firm which is having very good past history.

                            Being an Engineer I suggest that there is a need to look into the design of Kelvinator Fridge, Model No. KD 200 L to avoid such problem.

                            It is therefore requested to please issue necessary instructions to concerned authority to replace the fridge by new one at the earliest otherwise and there will be no way other than to move the matter to Consumer Court.

                                Washing Machine Not Working Since 3 Month

                                Kelvinator Fridge — non acceptance of warrenty card

                                sir,
                                i purchased a 260pre model double door kelvinator fridge when i was posted in roorkee on 11/9/08.
                                now i have been posted to kamptee/nagpur. my fridge developed a problemand i informed the service centre.when the rep came i produced my warranty card, but the rep refused saying that he wanted the original bill.since i have changed my loc and the original bill is misplaced he refused to repair.
                                i believe that the warranty card should have been adequate.there was no response by the service centre as to why the warranty card is not adequate.
                                i feel chaeted and it seems to be a ploy not to repair the fridge in warranty period.

                                  I also bought kelvinator microwave convection oven from videocon via times group site.

                                  first of all they did not had the model in stock, so they told that they will be supplying videocon, then suddenly after one and half month after they got the kelvinator oven delivered and that too without the invoice.
                                  When i tried to used it it was not working at all and then their service guy the circuit is damaged, they asked for the invoice, these people are so ... that they send the invoice too after 20 days that too by email and without sign on it.
                                  now, when i asked to replace it with a new one, they are telling that they will repair and give it.

                                  that was really a disgusting moment and i thought to never purchase a videocon product in near future.

                                  the people checking for their products pleas please dont prefer videocon or any of its allied brands

                                  Kelvinator — Faulty Product

                                  Sir,

                                  I had purchased a Kelvinator(KFL215) refrigerator in the month of September. It was problemmatic from the day one.The problem was that thick layer of ice was being formed in the freezer compartment within two to three days. It was getting difficult to even store anything. Not to mention that this was occuring even though it was being defrosted daily.I lodged the complaint and it was never repaired as they did not found any fault.Then I had to go out of stations and when I returned in the month of February I found the same problem. I again lodged the complaint several time. The problem diagnosed by the mechanic was rather different everytime.First one said it was the problem of compressor and it would have to be changed by some other mechanic, second one intimated that it was the problem of switch and last one confirmed that there was no problem at all. He told me that I would have to daily switch off the refrigerator to get rid of it. Then when I again complained as my problem was not resolved, then one of the mechanic realised it was the fault of Thermostat and it was replaced which didn't worked either. Again it was replaced and the problem persisted. Now,again I have been communicated that the replaced thermostat is problemmatic and it once again needs replacement. Above all, the refrigerator is consuming 2 units a day being a 5 star rated appliance. Who is going to bear the electricity bill.
                                  Its been months together that my grievance is not redressed. I think this has been enough. I need the replacement of the product at the earliest as the product is a problemmatic one.

                                    I myself Naresh Chandra Nag residence of Ajmer ( Rajasthan) wants to inform that Last year in the month of Oct-09 I purchased a freeze of 265 liters from ajmer SHOP near Railway Station , but his compresser is not working properly and your service engineer totd that I will refill the Gas and for that you have to pay Rs.1100.00.
                                    In this regard I wou;ld like to request you that previous to this in the year 1989 I purchase 165 lts freeze and that gave me services for nearly 20 years without any expenditure or without any much more costly repair.But the body was damaged that why I purchased new one.
                                    I was fully satisfied with the company thats why I though to purchase Kelvinator only ,but this time within a Year I am facing the problem .
                                    I request you Kindly to instruct you Regional Manager of Rajasthan to look into the matter and please replace my freeze with new one.

                                      I have purchase a 1.5 ton split AC of Kelvinator ( model no. AS 182 DX 1.5 Ton, sr. no. OUD.C1W118K[protected]; IDU OGI 18K[protected]) from M/s. Air-Cool India having their show room at 1/58-59 Andheri Kurla Road, Opp. Sangam Cinema J. B. Nagar, Andheri(E) Mumbai 400059 vide their cash memo no. ACI/478 dated 23.6.09. The AC is failing frequently. It has failed 3 times since installation. The response from their service centre is one of the worst I have experienced. It takes them innemerable reminders to attend and repair. The mechanics are most inefficient.

                                      Recently i have lodged a complain on 13.10.2009 as per the complain no. MUM [protected] given by them till date i.e. 31.10.2009 they have not repaired the unit and all my daily reminderds are not yielding any results.
