Electric rice cooker hot plate deshaped due to over heeat, given for serviceing at kenstar authorised service centre near Tarnaka , after twenty days the electric rice cooker was returned back in disamantled condition. Is this the way Kenstar provides after sales service? Contacted call centres many times and is of no use. Kenstar to look into it immediatley.

Kenstar — bio pure 8stage

I bought kenstar biopure 8stage last year, I unable to find the refill catridge. the customer care it worst, they dont solve problem. the shop who sold it one year back to me says. If kenstar dont supply spares how we can sell?.
Shame on kenstar.

    I bought a Kenstar Toofan Mixer Drinder a few months back and its not grinding things properly. Am totally dissatisfied with this product and am ready to exchange with a higher version. Am not sure how I can go about this.

      I have purchased a Split AC recently from Kenstar and because the Dealer has refused to help with the service, I have been directly calling Kenstar's Call Centre to send a service engineer[protected].

      The experience of dealing with so-called Call centre employees has been highly annoying

      1) We call them and they take the complaint, give us the Service request Number and give an assurance
      that Service Engineer will visit us within 24 hours.
      2) Nothing happens in 2 days, and we call back to know the status. They tell us that the Service Request
      is cancelled and they will give a new Service request number which will get actioned soon (Within 2
      hours).

      The above 2 happens in an non-ending infinite loop. Everytime a new Service request is logged and the next day it gets cancelled.

      When we ask the reason for cancellation, the call centre people are always unable to provide any
      answer. They just start their PARROT kind of by-hearted Dialouges "Sorry for the inconveience sir, but
      the Service enginner will contact you in 24 hours". When we ask them to transfer the call to their manager or a senior member, they refuse and disconenct the call.

      This is highly frustrating and we dont know what is the other way to contact Kenstar for providing us service.

      Mr Mritunjay,Ms. Tahzeeb,Mr. Kailash,Ms Soma, Mr. Guru Preet Singh are few names of Customer Care executives to take.

      I think, Kenstar should look for more quanlification when hiring employees for their call centres. OR atleast spend some money on giving them proper training and teaching them adequate manners on how
      to deal with Customers. This is a total 3rd class experience.

      Kenstar Call Center — Rude Employees, and not working on complaints

      I Purchased Kenstar Karishma, some 2 months back, and it stopped wotking on 31st dec, i called up the call center on that day and raised the complaint, and i got an assurance that a tecnitian would come to us in 24 hrs, but its almost a week now and every day i call up call center and i get the assurance that a technitian will visit us in some hrs, which has not happned till date, and when i tried to escalate the complaint there was no proper response and the call centeer employee was very rude and dropped the call inbetween the conversation.

        Hi,

        I had purchased a Kenstar microwave KF30CBGT on 23Jan11.it stopped working in 4 days of purchase ,i had lodged a complaint through your toll free number on 5Feb11 and was given a reference PUN[protected] but was never contacted (as per sms the engineer was Gudda Sharma mobile [protected]), i lodged a 2nd complaint on 11Feb11 with PUN[protected] (as per sms the engineer was Kailash Badgujar mobile [protected]) but the engineer never visited .Registered a 3rd complaint on 18Feb11 PUN[protected] (as per sms the engineer was Gudda Sharma mobile [protected]) but no visit from the engineer .Registered a 4th complaint on 24Feb11 (as per sms the engineer was Kishore mobile [protected]) , Kailash visited and rectified the problem on 27Feb11. Kailash mentioned that the problem was a loose wire and the next time i have a problem then i will have to furnish a copy of the original bill for documentation. I found it strange that he mentioned this like it was in anticipation of a similar problem arising in the near future, rightly 3 days later the oven stopped working, lodged a complaint on 8Mar11 PUN[protected], i was visited by the same engineer Kailash but this time he came with a magnetron in hand and said that he knows what the problem is even before he touched the oven. This only reflects that the magnetron was faulty when he visited me the 1st time on 27feb11 itself .Anyway he changed the magnetron and left with a Xerox copy of my purchase invoice. Another complaint was logged PUN[protected] on 19th Mar’11 (as per sms the engineer was Kailash Badgujar mobile [protected])for a faulty door latch, Kailash visited to check the problem and left saying that he needs to get the part to replace ,after an hour of Kailash leaving I got a sms informing me that the complaint is closed and till date my microwave has not been rectified. I’m very disappointed with the product/the service and the company as a whole for selling a customer a sub standard product, giving little or no service and inconveniencing me for making a mistake of buying your product. Need kenstar to replace my machine since the time i have purchased it iv only had problems.

          Complaint on Service of Kenstar Air cooler - Model No. CL-CD-2008, Manufacture in Mar 2010. Serial No.[protected] I had purchased the above air coller in May 2010, the product was hardly used for 2 months, it was cleaned and packed, this summer when I tried to use the product again in Mar10, the product was not working.           I have bought kenstar geyser. after using for 5 days it gone mad and stop working. since then i have registered and re-registered the complaint near about 5 to 10 times. every single time i got the number of a service engg, , either which the number is not working or the engg. had left the company. i have launched my complaint first on 23rd Jan. but till now nobody showed up. .......... Really Pathetically Pathetic........!!!!

            Hello,

            I purchased Kenstar food Processor few months back and was under warranty. I got to know the real meaning of warranty today as my machine stopped working, as per their helpline if anything is wrong/fault with the machine then i have to pay the price to replace it. They will only send there men to collect money and get it replaced.

            This is the first time i ever heard of this kind of warranty where customer is asked to pay for company fault.
            Please avoid kenstar products if you want to save yourself from this Loot.

              I had purchased Kenstar Food processor from Delhi in Nov'09. After that so many complaints were registered and attended unsatisfactorily at my Faridabad Address. Now i has been shifted to Gujrat and have lodgged the complaint again. We left our Food processor at Kenstar's ASC in 1st week of Oct'10.

              From Oct'10 it is with Service centre only. Despite repeated visits and requests alongwith request to ASM, Still we are awaiting their response.

              Kenstar Food Processor — Poor Quality

              I have purchased the Kenstar Food Processor in the month of Aug-2010, till date three comoplaints has been made in which two times motor has been repalced but this time also there is problem of axcel and speed of motor.

                  i have lodged complaint with asian radio house sangli from whom i purchased kenstar washing machine five years ago . on[protected] we found that the washing machine did not discharge water properly and complaint was lodged with asian radio house . m/s asian radio house directed my complaint to the service centre at sangli however till 27.01.2011 the repairs have not taken place and my washing machine is still holding water. water is naturally corroding my machine please assist in redressing my complaint

                  I have a Kenstar fully automatic washing Machine is is not in working condition for the past 3 months, in spite of repeated complaints, no service personals have attended, in the mean while i found out that the belt has snapped, so i have informed the Service personals on phone to get me the belt, for the past 2 months the service personals have not yet reached my house, it is very frustrating since the call center says that we can speak to the customer for only 20 seconds,

                    I have purchased one" Kenstar" Microwave oven; Model No.OM 30DCE and Sl.No.[protected] from Spenser Super Market , while I was working in Railways at visakhapatnam,in the year 2008. I have shifted my residence from Visakhapatnam to Kozhikode,Kerala during 2010 ,after my retirement from service.

                    This Micro wave oven has been sparingly used since its purchasing.However,this oven started malfunctioning , and Timer cannot be adusted, and approached the service center of the Kenstar through SMS to SVC during the moth of Oct 2010.. The technician from Calicut service ceter came and tried to set right oven,but in vain. He tolld me that the PCP of the oven reqired replacement and he removed PCP and carried to the service center for ordering the new one from the company. According to the technician, he could not rectify the fault, for want of spare part. He could not replace the spare parts due to the nonavailability of the same at Service center/company.

                    I tried to approach higher officials of Kenstar through the E-Mail shown in ther web sight, [protected]@kenstar-appliances.com , [protected]@videoconservices.com ( Kenstar is a Videocon group) etc, but e-Mail sent to these addresses are not being acceted.

                    How this manufacturer can escape from the resposibilities of ensuring the availability of required spare parts at least for a period of 5 to 10 yrs after introducing to the model in market?.

                    Kenstar is unable to ensure required spare parts even after a lapse of more than 3 months after registering the complaints.:

                    I have spoken this matter with the service manager of the Kenstar at kozhikode,but in vain.I am unable to contact higher authorities of the company.
                    The bitter experience,narrated above is a classic example for cheated customer who happened to purchase the products of Ken star without knowing the fact that they seldom bothered about the After Sales Service once their products are sold. Video cone also may follow suit as the Ken star belonged to Video cone group of Companies.

                      Kenstar Geyser — Spark in the inlet valve

                      Kenstar Gyeser inlet valve given spark due to metalic tube . the tube has been replaced with plastic tube .
                      if the persons from dealer will come to install the gueser please check they r fitting it right or not , specially the fastners . and the inlet outlet pipes . .
                      check for the aIR LOCK.

                      DON'T PAY THE INSTALATION CHAGE FOR THE FIRST IME INSTALATION.
                      THEY R SUPPOSE TO GIVE THE 3PIN PLUG FREE .
                      KEEP THEIR CELL NUMBERS .
                      MAKE SURE THEY SHOULD COME IN UNIFORM , WITHOUT DRINKING WINE .

                      I have the similar problem from Kenstar service...After 5 days somebody started responding to my complaint after 5 calls or so. Worst response...Somebody comes and opens the geyser and say some problem with gasket and it would be done in 2 days and he never turns up...and the complaint got closed automatically. Again I have made one more and no body turns up..He doesn't pick up the call forever. Have warranty and not sure what to do now...Its not even 7 months old geyser and started giving the problem. Verrrry pooooooooor response. Never but any Kenstart product

                        This is to bring in to your kind notice that I am utterly disappointed for choosing the Micro Wave Oven manufactured by "KEN STAR" as the/authorized Service centre of your Company could not replace/repair the malfunctioning part( known as PCP by the technician of the authorized service centre)

                        The said product bearing Sl.No.[protected] and Model No.OM 30 DCE was purchased from SPENSER Super Market at Visakhapatnam while I was working in IRCTC/Railways at Visakhapatnam during 2008. After retirement from my service, I have shifted my residence during 2009 from Visakhapatnam to my native place,Vadakara.near Calicut ,Kerala. As the Timer (Time adjustment for the
                        Micro wave cooking) of the Oven pertained to Micro wave cooking developed some malfunctioning very recently, I approached the service center of Kenstar situated a tCalicut by sending SMS to SVC. as advisds by the Kenstar Web site


                        The technician at Calicut tried his best to replace the PCP, but could not arrange the exact item to be replaced. The PCP, he got from the company was not similar to the item fitted to the oven. He was also unable to rectify the malfunction of the Timer(PCP) of this appliance . Hence, he removed the PCP from my Oven and and carried the same to the service center, for arranging the required model. How ever,nether the service center nor the Kenstar company is sensitive to the plight of agony of the customer in this regard,and could not rectify the fault within a reasonable time. More over, being the manufacturer of several home appliance, Kenstar cannot escape from the responsibilities of replacing/availabilities of the spare parts of consumer durables like Micro Wave oven at least five to ten years since the manufacturing date of the respective product..

                        The officials at Service center ,Calicut is also asking the Cash voucher of the said oven, issued by the dealer at the time of purchase, but it cannot be traced as the same was shuffled along with several other papers during the transpotation of my belongings from Visakhapatnam to Vadakara, after my retirement from service.

                        I hope that necessary steps would be taken at the appropriate level, to address my grievance by arranging the required spare part or rectifying the malfunction of PCP by an expert who deals electronic circuits like PCP at the factory/ company( It is under stood that the malfunction of the said PCP can be easily rectiftied by the factory trained electronic technician instead of replacing the same ) . I am constrained to to highlight my bitter experiences with Kenstar in leading Electronic medias,Print medias etc; besides posting in several Consumer Portals like "Consumer Daddy" etc which may affect the reputation of Kenstar products adversely. The Customer Care in charge deals this complaint is requested to bring these matters to the notice of authorities at the highest level of the company to safeguard the interests of the Company as well as gunine interests of the millions of the customers who trust the brand name Kenstar.

                        Kenstar — poor after sale services

                        i purchased a washing machine of kenstar, now motor of our machine is not working i registered a complaint regarding this to yor customer care not once but several time, the only thing i got from there is a "COMPLAINT NUMBER"if you are not capable of providing after sale services put a lock on your company door and stop selling your appliances we heard a lot of good things about your company before . but know we advised other people to not purchase this brand.
                        we will not beg for the motor we can purchase a new machine of other good brands available in the market . kNow i hate hate hate hate KENSTAR

                        Planning to buy Food processor but scary after reading about poor after sales service.

                        I have bought a Kenstar Mini coolar last minth and within a month Motor got burst. I put the complaint 2 weeks back to Kenstar as well as to Next showroom where i bought this.

                        I am suppose to get the Motor replaced but still not getting any response to the complaint. Service center guys says they dont have stock with them. I dont understand, city like Bangalore should face out iof stock problem. Its really pathetic.

                        Compalny people should take this very seriusly.

                        This is with the reference to the Kenstar cooler (Model No. 9924, Serial No. 0402727) that i had purchased and had to give it for repair as the pump had stopped working. It was given for servicing at Saba Service Centre, Malakpet, Anand Nagar, Hyderabad on April,10, 2010. I am still waiting to get my cooler back. I have spoken with the Kenstar customer care centre too and the complaint no. given by them is [protected]-Hyderabad.
                        I would request you to kindly look into this matter. this entire matter is getting to my nerves as neither the service centre or the customer care people seem to be least bothered to fix my cooler.

                        I have a similar experience with my Kenstar Microwave oven. For the pas two months I am trying to contact the Kenstar people to repair in Calicut. Their Office in Calicut is least responsive. They ask me to go to their repair centre which they themselve donot know where it is. It is similar to Mr.Vadakar Vasu's case.
                        planning to buy one microwave oven from Kenstar. Now I won't buy anything from Kenstar

                          The MW oven (kenstar make) was getting powered on but the oven was not working. The service engineer from G K Electronics Vadapalani, Chennai came to check the same. He said that the pcb in the front panel is to be checked and after that if it is found working fine, they may have to check the entire unit. The oven is more than 8 years old and had not had any complaints so far and also sparingly used. The PCB of the front panel was taken for check up on 15/12/10 with a promise of return and fixing it by 20/12/10. However, numerous calls later and a visit to the firm's office, it is seen that none of the persons including Mr. Satish Kumar (mobile [protected]) who took the pcb for check up and Mr. Krishna Kumar (mobile [protected]) answered properly and behaved totally irresponsibly towards my wife who was handling the entire issue from calling for service. This high handed nature of attitude on the part of the service personnel is highly deplorable and calls for corrective action immediately. It is highly irresponsible on the part of the service provider not to get the component repaired in time but also to use all tactics to dodge the customer when called. It is five days in a row when the promised person to call on us to refix the pcb panel which had not happened so far. If Kenstart and their service agents think that customer can be taken for a ride, then the only option available is to move the appropriate forum for getting the complaints redressed.

                            The water geyser was purchased from Khosla Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Road, Howrah on 28.11.09 with two years warranty. Since 10th Nov.'10, the geyser started giving trouble with no water heating at all. Three complaints were launched on 12.11.10, 21.11.10 & 26.11.10 with complaint nos. KOL[protected], KOL[protected] & KOL29900938 respectively at Kolkata service center. Every time, the service guy comes and says we're waiting for some spares to come. I really don't know when these spares will come and when it will be repaired. Please help me.

                              My brother has been using 25ACF model microwave oven since last three years at Ongloe (AP) and since last 3-4 months the local service team of Kenstar is unable to arrange MAGNATRON SPARE (Part No. M241B-210A ) which is required to be replaced as per your Ongole service team. It is surprising that such a high cost spare part is not available in whole of Andhra Pradesh to replace and satisfy the customer and your service centre team is asking to arrange us from elsewhere to set right the defective oven. My brother's mobile no. is [protected] and ask your team to get in touch for further action from Kenstar. Living at Bangalore, I came to know that the said spare part is available freely and request to depute a technician from Hyderabad/Bangalore and do the needful .

                              Microwave Oven — Not working - replacement of Magnetron

                              I had purchased a microwave oven model No.EM18Ea708L in the year 2006 through the Dealer M/s Better Deals. I had made a complaint in the month of January 2008 for non working of the oven and on 29.1.08 the complaint was attended by digital solution and taken the service charges of Rs.250.00 and informed that the Magnetron is not working and since it is in the warranty period it will be replaced. After that I have been contacting them so many times but their reply was the item to be replaced "magnetron' is not available. It is more than 50 days no one is giving the positive reply about the replacement. I will appreciate, if the same is replaced immediately and get the oven in working condition

                              I have purchased IFB Micro wave oven in a authorised dealer, M/s kAPILA. and I have under AMC for the same on a regular basis. There was a problem last year and I made a complain on[protected]. After 2 - 3 remainders a service man came and informed there was a small problem in the door knob and he would replace it in a day or two. To my surprise without rectifying the problem the case was closed and this was informed to on on January when we called the customer care number to know the status. So, again a complaint was made for the unrectified, same old problem. Till now it is not rectified

                              We had purchased an LG Microwave oven Model MC808WAR , Sr.No: 804DRUFro1854 and to facilitate Uninterrupted and satisfactory post purchase working , we entered into a maintenance agreement with for three years (Ref; your No:HLP:JJ1556 dated 22/10/2009)

                              When the microwave developed some defect in working in the month of June 2011, we made a formal complaint with your call centre. Despite reminders, no one from your company/service centre bothered to attend the complaint.This has caused me a lot of inconvenience and have reasons to believe that the concerned employees/agents of the company neither feel moral nor legal obligation to attend to customer complaints after taking the charges in advance.

                              I hereby call upon you to immediately refund me full money paid for the maintenence contract so that I may decide to get the microwave oven either replaced for repaired from the open market.

                              Notwithstanding I reserve the right of filing a complaint with the consumer court for claiming damages as also exposing your fake claim of providing service within 24 hours.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                I got "Kenstar Food Process" as a gift in my marriage, but from the first time it was not working, as it is in warranty period I have logged one complain from the phone to Kenstar.
                                As per discussion they need to resolve the case with in 24 hours, but after calling many times I am not getting any positive response. Instead helping me people from Kenstar asking me to log complain in Consumer Forum.

                                Mr. Salunke - [protected] (He is technician and never picks the phone.)
                                Mr. Savergaon kar - [protected] (He is the head of the in charge for Pune division and He is asking me to log complain in Consumer forum, but he is very keen for not helping me)

                                Complain no which I logged in their online system is “PUN[protected]”, which is opened from Sunday evening.

                                I expect that Food Processor should get repaired as early as possible and what ever the amount I wasted in telephonic calls also gets refunded.

                                  sir, i recieved a call from india today book club that i recieved an gift voucher of rs 100000 (diamond voucher) but for recieving the gift you will have to purchase some item from us so i have booked kenstar home appliances kit of worth rs 13498 then they have told about combo pack i will have to purchase one more item so i was tensed but purchase philips home theatre that time i asked about voucher they have told that i can use more than one voucher so i purchase but when i purchased i did not recieved any voucher after calling to customer care they have sent the voucher code and at the time of parcell they had inform me that i can not use more than one voucher at a time that is totally lost for me i was cheated by these cheaters they have harassed me alot plenty of call they have made me to purchase again again alot of greeds they have given to me then also i was thinking that i can get my goods but when i recieved my home appliance (purchase id[protected] all items are not good and mixer juicer grinder, rice cooker , iron was broken. i totally shoked that i lost my 22,000 also and not a single goods i got good i called them they have told to send it back and they will replace again i invested 500 in courier and sent to b-47,bagit todady book club neb sarai. but they have refused to recieve and again it is comming back to me they have not packed it properly so it was broken again i have sent i don,t know in what condition i get these items. by my pure heart i am praying to god that this company will gel alot of lost. but i want to take some legal action against this coz they are not giving any proper reply to me they learn the lesson so that they can not cheat to any other and take some action so that i get my money back suggest me and take action against this company pls.

                                    I had bought a Kenstar 25 ltr Convection Microwave Oven + Kit (Model number KE25CMGJ-MGK) on 03/10/2010 from Khosla Electronic Pvt Ltd Behala Kolkata. (Add: 371/1 D. H. Road, Behala, Kolkata - 700034)

                                    At the point of sale, we were informed that the product would be delivered within 2 days, however the same was delivered on the 4th day. After a couple of days hence, your company representative came for product demonstration. Only on his arrival that we opened the box & it was noticed that the product was not only deffective (the wire was burnt out, there were scratches on the glass) but also had several components missing (like the warranty card & the Product Manual).

                                    We had registered a complaint on your toll free complaint number[protected] mentioned on the box containing the microwave oven) the same day (12/10/2010). A lady named Tumpa had contacted us thereafter & informed that necessary action is being taken (I'd urge to know what?) & we are still waiting for a response/action on 11/11/2010.

                                      I have purchased refrigerator (KRC 171 PR-CH RE) from dealer Kedia Traders, Amravati on 23.6.2007

                                      I have loged the complaint for the reason not cooling, to m/s Kedia Traders, walcut compound, amravati on 5.8.2010. My complaint no is NAG-[protected].

                                      after that on 3.9.2010 the service vendor visited for problem location.

                                      on 22.9.2010 service vendor replaced the compressor and charged Rs 950.00 and also not given any receipt for the same( service technician Sri Sanjay Bhurbhure). (please convey whether he charged the amount correctly or he cheated me)

                                      but after replacing the compressor problem is not solved, and my money paid for compressor was wasted.

                                      after that, after several personal visits and phone calls to the servicing centre and m/s kedia traders for solving my problem, no one is taking the cognizance of my complaint.

                                      I request you to please look in to the matter, and please solve my problem at the earliest. I am being harrased for the service from 5.8.2010.

                                      please look in to the matter urgently.

                                      kenstar refrigerator — poor service

                                      Dear Sir

                                      We own a Kenstar refrigerator mega size (the maximum capacity). Several times we have called the customer service for servicing it as its plates and trays have broken and we have requested for the alternate trays such a big refrigerator having a low quality plastic trays is very bad. all that trays have broken and one day one kenstar service person came home and took measurements for the trays and assured us to deliver new set of trays within 10 days. 3 months passed away and that person has not turned up.If a company cant service the people better then why should a consumer buy it? Kenstar service is very disguisting and poor sorry to say this. kindly do the needful at the earliest.
