Dear sir,i have purchased kenstar air cooler model no.clcw0121 vide bill no.82 from the audeo video store, katihar in front of hdfc bank, katihar on 13/06/2012.After three days bad ordour began to come out from the cooler, i consulted to customer care, they replied that within 72hours engineer will attend you but the said engineer came after seven days and told that it is the problem of khash which is not available now,i will replace it later on but he didnot came.then i contact with the audeo video store owner who had sold me the product, he told me that my duty is to sold the product not repairing the product so you go to the consumer forum and his behaviour was very rude.he was talking very roughly.it is very panic and disgraceful.

    I have a Kenstar Microwave oven. on 27th June 2102 I lodged a customer care complaint regarding defect in one of its components. I had posted a previous complaint and it was handled by an agency called TekCare India Pvt. Ltd. I believe Kenstar outsources its complaint to this agency. My complaint numbers for this grievance is MUM[protected] and MUM[protected](they registered it as two separate complaints as we called them sporadically as a reminder). I have ample evidence - bills and memos of previous grievances, many smses from this agency which claim to solve this problem etc. After repeated reminders, they still havent repaired my microwave oven? What should be my legal recourse now? I am mainly complaining against TekCare India Pvt. Ltd. but I am also annoyed at Kenstar. What should I do?

        Sir,
        I was looking forward to the person who was being sent to my place for the microwave demonstration , after I bought the product. But after waiting for two days I was attended by some person who was not authenticated for the same. No demonstration as such was given, the person does not seem to have enough knowledge about the product and could not explain the working of the appliance.

          My Name is Shankar Majumder from Kolkata,West Bengal.I purchased your product (Model No. CP0118H) on 26th May, 2012.My experience was altogether bad -

          The dealer namely SUR SANGEET(Address : P-343 C.I.T Road,Scheme VIM,Phulbagan,Kolkata-700054)charged me Rs.5,400(Bill No.1935,dated 26.05.2012).Whereas the box was showing MRP.Rs.5,289 including VAT.Unfortunately it went wrong.

          After that the device was not working properly from 3rd June,2012.I started trying complaining and ultimately it was rechecked by the service official on 7th June(after calling them more than 25 times with several complain numbers).

          It was really pathetic that I should know before buying any KENSTAR product regarding such issues.

          Please correct if my notion is wrong regarding your company.

            i bought a cooler on 16th march delivered on 17th march evening, it worked for 5 minutes. WHAT else do i have to say ? abouty KENSTAR product delivered without basic testing.

              We bought Kenstar Food Processor 11 months back and now it is not working properly. We have logged complaint and did 5 followup calls over 7days but till date no one responded to the compliant. This is clearly utter disappointment with regard to customer service. Neither Call center nor Authorized Dealer directed by them are capable of handling the complaint. Without attending I got SMS saying that the complaint is closed & when contacted they gave me another complaint number and on both occasions the technician numbers are not in use/ disconnected. Sad with your database register. Sorry to say but the standard of customer service and contact is way below elementary to describe.

              I would request the general public not to invest time and money in Kenstar and waste both money and peace of mind.

                my kenstar microwave oven bought in january 2005 had stopped functioning(rotating but not heating) some 15 days back. after lodging complaint through toll free number [protected] one service engineer came and found few parts(2 fuses and the magnetron) not working and have to be changed.the very next day a lady from the office of the local service centre called up to inform that my work will be done the very next morning and the service account was ,also, closed but without any work done thereafter. in fact no information was given to me for the delay and there was no regret on their part for the inconvenience caused.

                Kenstar/ Microwave Oven — Regarding change the part

                Hi,
                I have got a gift of Microwave Oven of Ken star in my marriage in Dec 2007 and in few months one part of the Oven is got damage and i complaint it in the Kenstar b'coz it is in the warranty period the service man came and first said that provide the warranty card we provide it and then he say provide the bill also we don't have the bill as it was gifted item so we could not provide the bill so he said with out bill we can not change the part and now the warranty is over pls suggest that what we should do and the part cost is Rs. 2100 told by the service man.

                I am having the Kenstar's Microwave oven since 2010.

                From starting we have problems in that product I complain through [protected] to your call Center
                I have enter 3 complaint continue last 4 days and complaint no is as fallows

                This is very surprising without visit my place how service center will closed my complaint and you treated with my all five complaints
                In last few days I called service center 17times and after so many arguments they give me some phone no but all phone nos are useless that nos are

                If this type of service u provide to ur very old customers, how come you people survive in this competitive market, Instead of Samsung LG or any other good product

                  I purchase kenstar food processer thru star cj in the month of nov 2011, kenstar staff do demo on time.last weak my food processer not working properly. I complain the kenstar toll free no .the complain no is THA[protected] dated 11 may 2012. on 12 may one person (name - Inder mob no [protected]) visit my home and tell that Moter of food processer not working properly and locking part also not work .                       I have given complaint through SMS but without coming and checking your personal are closing the call. I have got it repaired for the same problem and at that time replaced the New Blower. The same has repeated again after one year. Normally the Air Cooler will be used for 03 to 04 months in a year, I brought your branded cooler based on a good name in the Market, but the service is not up to the mark.

                      I request you look into it and arrange technician to resolve the problem at the earliest before this summer.

                        There is customer care using the call center number[protected]. They are complete hoax as they would visit your house on the complaint and take a part of your appliance and then vanish. I need somebody's help to trace these people down as the customer care is now only telling me that it will take further time to address your complaint.

                          I bought a Kenstar Air cooler at JP nagar Croma on 16th April. Bill number SDF 02A[protected], amount paid by my son Ketan Tilak Kumar.

                          Complaint: At Croma, they said they did not have the Air cooler in stock and that they would deliver the next day. We had no option of checking out that piece which we will be buying. They delivered a faulty piece of Air cooler. (It was either Croma or Kenstar people). It was making really Loud noises-yes...3-4 different kinds of noise.. After number of calls, the technician came home to check it out and said that the blower was broken; though I insisted that I do not want repair but want a new proper piece he said they will not give new piece but they will only repair….(???Why…) He put another blower and it was OK for 1 day. It again started making very loud noise. No normal person can sleep thru that noise. Now he says the motor is broken. They do not have the clamps or whatever... Now Kenstar people are cutting off my calls. Everyday , even without repairing or solving my problem, they are closing the complaint and everyday I am registering the complaint again saying that nobody has come and repaired or solved my problem. I must have made more than 100 phone calls from the time we bought it., ie from 16th April and the technician has come only twice and not even able to repair it.
                          I paid full money without even getting the machine on that day thinking that Croma/Kenstar is reliable and I am getting this faulty machine. Why???
                          I have registered my complaint at Croma too. I have not recd any calls from them.

                          Buying this Kenstar Air Cooler has caused me lot of pain and agony. I am a doctor by profession and I am spending so much of my valuable time in Just calling these people, daily, not once or twice but more than 10-15 times everyday. They don’t pick up my calls or they cut my calls after 2-3 rings.

                          This leaves me only option of going to Consumer court.

                          kenstar/air cooler — Faulty machine delivered

                          I got the air cooler CT 9924 on 12 APR 2007 at 7pm from Viveks
                          bangalore, upon switching at home I found it is making high Noice.
                          gave the complaint next day I demanding the replacement but the company sent the service engineer after 24days after many follow ups. after repairing blower, again same problem occurred with more noise after running for 30min,

                          Again after 12days service engg came and replaced the blower.

                          Recently this year the cooler swing stopped working. I complained requesting free service as It is kenstar who is at fault for delivering the QC failed machine. The service manager Mr. Subramany bhat gave promise of looking into mater.

                          After many follow ups and complaints the service manager
                          not available. No one in the office gave me proper responsible
                          answers.The web site is also not available.

                          The ditto is happeing with my Kenstar washing machine, the service engg from videocone had come and promiced to come next day with proper spare but after 2 weeks nowhere to see,
                          If call the call center they promise but noting happens.

                          So It is very irresponsible both at quality control and service aspect. Once you buy you have to bear with their faulty machine and irresponsible service.

                          Kenstar Air Cooler — not deliver

                            I had purchased new Kenstar Air Cooler from Pai International on 8th April 2012 and aftetr using over night morning my Air cooler fan stopped working, i lodge the complaint with their Customer care center on 10th April Call no :BAN[protected], but till today no one came for servicing, on daily basis i am calling customer care but no use, they will give service center number which is switched off

                              My Kenstar Water Purifier is not working properly, due to the chocking of the candle of it. I want to replace this candle on my cost. But the Kenstar company unable to provide me the service( regarding replacement of this candle). This Purifire's candle is not available in open market.

                              I call to service center several time from 04/03/2012. But Kenstar is not able to provide me service.
                              My complaints No. are tha [protected] dated 04.03.12,tha [protected] 14/03/12,tha [protected] 21/03/12,reminder 23/03/12,tha [protected] 12/04/12 and reminder 14/04/12.
                              Please provide me service of this product. otherwise I have to purchase another company water purifier.

                                My one and half year old KENSTAR air cooler stopped working and I
                                approached the dealer for service/repair, but the dealer told me that
                                they will not attend complaint and
                                asked me to contact customer care. First reason for avoiding branded cooler. On 11/04/12 I
                                made a complaint and on 13/04/12 at about 4 pm one person introduced
                                him as service Engineer from Kenstar and I shown him the cooler. He
                                tried some time but could not opened the cooler without my help
                                (service engineer). He just looked the cooler and told me that the
                                motor is jam and I has replace it with a new one which cost me
                                Rs.1600/-. I object the same and asked him to check the motor but he
                                told me to contact him when I am ready to cough up Rs.1600/- and he
                                will attend the problem and given me a receipt of Rs. 180/- towards
                                Service Charge (charge without any service). Now I understand why
                                people prefer ordinary cooler against branded one. Now My aim is to
                                spare my bad experience as much as consumers .

                                    I have bought a Kenstar air cooler (Slimiline) on 24th March 2012 from dealer Swan Soni Appliances R.P. Road Secunderabad (Receipt No. 4004). To my utter surprise I noticed at home that the cooler is not at all working properly. The wool wood pad that surrounds the cooler are not getting wet therefore we could not enjoyed the cool air as proclaimed by the company. Moreover oil is spilling from the cooler.

                                    After trying very hard to contact the customer care No. (No hindi/English speaking executives employed) finally I lodged complaint on 25th March 2012. (Complaint No. hyd[protected]). I have been assured that the problem will be attended within 24hrs. I waited on 26th March (monday) and called the customer care lots of times but I didnt get any response. Same thing is happened on 27th March as well. No response

                                    I request you to take some serious action against the company and compensate me the lossess.

                                      I'm writing this feedback.review with great pain to share that your Kenstar service is pathetic. I have a Water geyser which is still under warranty, my family is facing a problem of electrical grounding & water is not getting hot because of the product. There are 6-7 complaints registered against the same those are as follows

                                      Not even a single person bothered to answer or to respond these complaints. I wonder how Kenstar says that they are best in the Customer service.

                                      Kenstar — not respond properly

                                      I had bought a Kenstar branded washing machine on 1990. It was not worked properly after 4 years due to non-availability of spares. At that time i approached somany times to the customer care. They were not responded mannerly. The machine was kept idle since 4 yrs nobody was willing to buy even for Rs. 1000/-.

                                      Now, today (29.10.2010) the same Kenstar has given advertisement for home appliances for their product publicity.

                                      I am really fedup with the Kenstar.

                                      Kindly do needful in this regard.

                                      I totally agree with this complaint, its been a month now am complaining for geyser issue but no one has responded till date. worse service. please never buy any kenstar products.

                                        The complaint no 2637 dated 03 mar has been registered with NEWSTAR SERVICES authorized service center, and the mechanic evaluated the defect next day with assurance that he will complete the repairs in a day or two latest by08 mar .However since then repeated phone call there has neither been any response /feedback and the washing machine remains unserviceable. The staff of the repair center now says that it will take another one week to repairs.
                                        The delay in repair has put my family in lots of inconvenience andit speaks very low of a company like KENSTAR.
                                        HOWEVER IN FUTURE DEFINETLY WE WILL HAVE SECOND THOUGHT IN ADDING ANY OTHER KENSTAR PRODUCTS IN OUR HOUSE.
