    Never to buy KENSTAR products. Its products dosen't even work properly even for one year and dose not provide good service. I have been facing problem since the product I purchased. I called many times to them at their customer service center but have not sent executives for repairing. This is vary bad company and now I am putting complaint in consumer court. I want to let people know that never to buy KENSTAR products, you will feel cheated after that. Even if you buy some local products that work much better that KENSTAR products.

    Kenstar Food Processor — Worst custome care

    Dear friends,
    please note that kenstar is a worst company as far as its quaity is concern. i had bought a kenstar food processor from vijay sales, Thane. I have a problem in the machine and trying to contact kenstar customer care from past 8 months. but no resulats. neither staff of vijay sales are taking any initiative to solve my problem. i think we should ban such companies.

    I recently brought Kenstar Food Processor thinking it was good to have a Kenstar product. It was working properly for first one month. It's not working properly. Though we brought it as an appliance which takes care of all the needs in kitchen, it was not performing all the functions it was intended to do properly.

    I contacted local (hyderabad) customer care centre on 18th July 09 through their telephone no. 39404040, they have given complaint no.HYD[protected]. After 2 days one of their service engineer contacted me. We are (wife & husband) working, we are not available in the house from 9.30 am to 6.00 pm. So i requested him to come to my house after 6 pm to solve the problem. But nobody has responded till today.

    PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM AT THE EARLIEST.

    dear sir,
    i had purchased kenstar food processor on dated 15 april 2009.
    when i opened i found Whipper is damaged and Chopping rod is missing.
    i had launched complaint but still my problem remain same.

    Kenstar Food Processor — Not working and no response from the customer care

    Sir,
    I purchased Kenster food processor 4 months back in Hyderabad and have taken to my village(ootur) which is 25 kms far from Karimnagar(AP). Then I came to know that it is not working.
    I contacted Kenster customer care. They said that they would be sending the executive to my village but they didn't. I approached and remainded them several times but there is no proper response from them. No body till now came to my home to rectify the problem.
    Please do needful.

    KENSTAR products are very bad. I appeal to people that dont purchase KENSTAR products. Its customer service phone number dose not work. You can consider this as fraud company. PEOPLE please wake up and boycott these product so that KENSTAR company should get close.
    I TOTALLY AGREE!!!The Customer care is really bad.They disconnect your calls when you want to speak to some senior person.

    The service guy never comes within 24hrs that they claim.

    KENSTAR has outsourced its servicing.They dont care about customers

    Kenstar Food Processor — FRAUD

    Request you to take strict action of fraud against KALPANA MARKETING AGENCY who had sold me a kenstar food processor at MMRDA ground exhibition on 1st May, 2010.
    Number of parts are missing in the packed box. there is no user manual they have not even couriered the original receipt to me. i am left with only a temporary receipt the number being 39 ( for referrral).
    Kenstar was notified and atleast a person from KENSTAR came to repair the machine but the spare parts will not be available to us without the original receipt. the service is so pathetic, unresponsive.

    Kenstar Food Processor — Very poor service and bad response from kenstar company

    Dear Sir,
    I hope all izz well at your side.
    I have a Kenstar food processor.Bought it 2years ago.
    The processor is giving a problem and we had given a complaint to kenstar customer care 6 months ago.But hardly to say no response from them,when contacted them after 7 days and giving them complaint number they say the complaint number is wrong.Then we had given the complaint again,what a bad response from them they said that there server is down and they are unable to give the complaint number and they had saved the details.Still no response from them.
    Then we had went to the shop from where we had bought the product and said them,in front of me they had given the complaint and they said they are saying server is down,even I had talked with customer care people the same time they said server is down.
    What the hell,they keep on saying the same.
    I appeal to the people do not believe on Kenstar people.
    They are cheaters.
    If they aren't then tell them to prove it.
    I had decided to go to consumer court.

    Kenstar Food Processor — not in working condition

    Kenstar Food Processor — NOT WORKING FROM DAY ONE

    I HAVE PURCHGED A KENSTAR FOOD PROCESSOR ON 28.10.2011. fROM DAY ONE ITSELF IT IS NOT WORKING. I REGISTERED THE COMPLAINT THREE TIMES WITH THE CALL CENTRE. ONE PERSON VISITED MY HOUSE AND SAID THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE MOTOR AND SOON THEY WILL REPLACE. TILL DATE NO RESPONSE FROM KENSTAR.

        I have puchased Kenstar air cooler (Turbo) on 8th of March for 6,500 Rs. This Air cooler never worked as Air cooler.It just works as a fan. The pump works every other 2 days. I got fed up calling Kenstar helpline and no technician responds. I called 10 times today without any success. Please do not ever purchase any of the Kenstar product. We are in the middle of summer and I can not take any other cooler either. I want to take this up with consumer court as well, Please let me know formal process. Me and my family are going through mental and physical trauma .

        on 15 july13 i brought my kenstar air cooler but after a month i am faceing problems in it that is its not working properly ater complaing 3 to4 time no one visted us nor tryed to resolve the problem. so kindly take some action against it and statisfy me as a customer

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I have kenstar product (air cooler) in my home & i didnt know that kenstar donot provide after sales service in india. I have right kenstar regarding the giving problems but have not received any response. Problem faced is water leakage and Elbow socket replacement is required & i have registered so many complaints since last 4 days. Nobody has turned up nor any call received from their side.I have traced around two dozen contact nors just to get the service done but none of them have so far solved the problem. I have committed sin by purchasing kenstar products & for forgiveness, i kindly request to look after this matter on urgent basis as you know the status of Delhi weather now a days its too hot and our 2 month child is also suffering from same.

          Why after sales service is so pathetic about leading companies?Kenstar is no exception.Having bought the airconditioner -initially I had no problems as it was used sparingly.I am in habit of keeping all my machinery in top order hence I prefer timely service of my car, scooter, fridge and air conditioner.Despite loud claims the Kenstar has disappointed me as they have not paid any attention to my complaint against their regional service station.I wish the consumer forum takes serious note of consumers complaints.

          KENSTAR AIR CONDITIONED — WARRANTY PRODUCT

          WE HAVE PURCHASED AC OF KENSTAR IN YEAR 2006 AND IT IS NOT WORKING SICHE DATE OF PURCHASE WE HAD CONTINOUSELY COMPLAINT AND FOLLOW UP WITH THE SHOPKEEPER BUT NO ACTION TAKEN TILL DATE BY COMPANY AND SHOPKEEPER

          The after sales service of kenstar has been extremely poor. we have registered complaint twice along with multiple follows up with Rajkumar (cell number [protected] - complain#THA[protected]) but we didnt get a response. The above mentioned person once mentioned he had brought the spare parts but gave it to another customer. So he would com tomorrow and for about 10 days daily i called and he said he would come the other day but hasnt. The second complaint registered (this time both of our waterboiler were not working) again routed the complaint to the same person rajkumar. He neither called nor picked up the call.

          I wonder why a big brand Videocon hires such unprofessional people to do service. It cuts a very poor image of the organization. Its the peak of winter in mumbai and we find both o[censored]r water heaters have deserted us. Our calls are getting closed without anyone attending. We need your service - ASAP.

          The water heater is not working for last 20 days

          My water heater is not working and get repaired 15 times in one year.The water heater is still not working for last 20 days.No one responding to my grievances.

            I had purchased 2nos of 1 ton split ACs' from Zenith situated at Ezra Street on 16th of April 2009 in the name of Kusum Agarwal. On the same day I found that 1 of the AC only after running few minutes shown E2. On seeing the E2 I immediately called the Zenith. After few days the person who installed the AC attended the complain and when he was working and when he removed the "quality check" sticker I noticed a crack on the body of the AC. I immediately informed Zenith about the crack on the body of AC. At that time Mr Alok of Zenith said me that the cracked body will be replaced.



            Again after few days the same AC again gone bad and at this time it was showing E4. I again informed Zenith of this and asked the complain no of Kenstar but he told me it was not required and it will be done by dealer itself it may be somewhat 30th of April 2009. From that day ownward till mid of November 2009 no person neither ever attended the complain nor anybody changed that broken body. But everytime when I talked to Mr Alok he said it will be done next week and that next week never came.



            In the month of November after huge conversation and argument. He gave me a number and said I need to talk in that. That day when I rang up that number I came to know that till 15th of November 2009 there was no complain lodged. I repeated all the matter to Mr Lal Mohammed khan the senior customer care executive of Howrah, he said me that this matter will be taken seriously but all promises of no use. What to speak of the broked body of the AC as the main cooling problem has not been solved till date. Every time the mechanic will come and say some part has gone bad.



            Now Mr Alok has been blaming service of Kenstar and saying he has stopped selling the AC of your company because of this problems.

            Now there is another problem with service department i.e.,they cancel the complain according to their wish as last day i was informed by your representative that the below mentioned complain was cancelled. How your service department can cancel the complain without solving and informing. This is not the right behaviour. Your people is just harassing the customer. I am very sorry to say if this is your after sales service I will advise everyone that please donot buy videocon products.

            Kenstar/Split AC — Unsatisfactory service

            Sir, I have purchased one split AC of Kenstar make in the year 2005.After purchasethe has given the tremendous trouble.Twice compressor failed. After a long fight with the service center and higher officials the got changed,but cooling was not satisfactory. Again compressor has gone deffcetive.Complaint has lodged vide no.KL30411004.Still it is un attended.

              Hi,

              I bought Kenstar cooler, Cyclone Model:CD-2001 which is working in good condition.However, the outer body is craking and its letting the water flow out while running the cooler and the outer plastic of the body has become fragile which keeps crcking on its own.I believe that its a manufacturing defects which needs attention of the manufacturer.I tried the customer care but did not get any response from their end.
              Please let me know how do I approach to resolve this problem.

              i brought kenstar aircooler .after that fews days later my swing was not working then logde acomplain person came from vizianagram to deal the complain &he said that he has to replace the swing motar but already its 2months passed no action has been taken till date

MTRS.BUT FRANKLY SPEACKING WE ARE NOT FEEL ANY COOLING COMFORTS. WE INFORM THE MATTER TO AUTHORISED DEALER KHOSHLA ELECTRONICS P LTD , BEHLA, THEY INFORMED THE MATTER TO SERVICE CENTRE. THE SERVICE ENGINEER VISIT OUR HOUSE AND INFORMED US THAT THIS WORKING NORMAL, BUT WE ARE NOT SATIFY AT ALL.

                  I am using aforesaid model air coller of kenstar, in water supply of coller thier is a rubber curved band which is broken for this reason my coller is not woring. The part is not available at my city, please provide me the requried part & the cost of the part will be paid by me.

                    I have Kenstar Washing machine Tumble Top model. Recently my machine went out of order and hence I called up helpline number for Customer Service (Videocon). The complaint ID for the same is ' '

                    After that I had to call several times to the sevice center as my complaint was not been entertained.Fainally after 3-4 days a technician was sent to my place who after inpecting told me that there is problem with the Motor and also Motor control card and both need to be replaced in order to make the machine work. When I replied affirmatively, I was told that the spare parts are not available and it may take atleast 6 days for him to get the spares. Also I was told that the estimate would be around 4000/- and that I will be getting a call next day for details. He charged 350/- as his service charges and went off. Next 2 days I didn't receive any update and hence I called up the service center again only to be told that the parts are not available and they can't do anything to repair the machine. My 350/- was taken away also now there was no assurance that the Washing Machine will be repaired.

                    Hence I called up some other technicians (not from any service center) just to take 2nd opinion before dumping this machine. And to my astonishment the technician there repaired my washing machine with 800/- including his service charges.

                    I really request you to please look into the matter and quality of technicians employed by the reputed Brand like videocon. Also I would request you to please arrange to return back the amount 350/- taken away as 'false' service charges by them

                    RAJEEV — KENSTAR WASHING MACHINE

                    Kenstar- I advice you all to abstain from purchasing Kenstar products specially Kenstart washing machine. i have a top loading fully automatic washing machine which has given me problem ample number of times. Today there is heavy noice ( almost like a diesel generator) When i tried tocompanin on their 24 hour helpline nO 39831717 the line is not going thru. Non of theri office phones are attended. I purchased this machine from Mapra electronics, New panvel who smilingly gave me the service centre member and he sounded helpless and asked us to contact the service centre for repairs. If Kenstar does not come and repair this i wish to use this as dusbin for our Housing Soceity. (WASHING MACHINE SERIAL NUMBER IS vaw[protected] regards/rajeev

                    We had purchesed COOLER and WASHINMACHIN form the Kenstar company. And we are not able to use it for single time . It just the case that we have wasted to around 15, 000 rupies . As of now when we are tring to resell it they are saying that they will give only 1500 Rs back. So what is the hell is this, are we mad to trust on Kenstar. We are realy a lot lot disappointed by them and now they are not proving us the services for the same so it just tooo much!!!
                    We too have lot of troubles with kenstar products.its really a waste of money to purchase one of these. no one is caring about our complaints. our washing machine is a piece of junk.

                    Kenstar Washing Machine — KENSTAR WASHING MACHINE TIMER FAULTY

                    I bought a Kenstar semi-auto washing machine about 3 years back for Rs. 6500/-. for the last few months, its timer started giving problems. and now i had to get it replaced for Rs. 700/-. Its spin cap also cracked & broke. total cost of repairs 1000/- i have another LG machine and a samsung machine, being used for the last more than 10 years. not a single problem faced throught these years. I think i wasted my money buying a Kenstar product. Everyone, pls stay away from Kenstar.

                    I have brought kenstar washing machine 8 years back. But since from purchase machine heater is giving problem . In the garuntee period heater was replaced by company.But after 14/15 months again heater failed.

                    Kenstar Washing Machine — The Timer is Not Working since 8 Months

                    I had purchased Kenstar Washing Machine Model of 1000 rpm having Nob Panel
                    from M/s MANORANJAN ELECTRONICS, NEAR GHODEWALA CHOURAHA, KOTA.
                    The complaint has been informed to the shopkeeper many times, but he has not taken any interest in resolving the Problem.
                    It is felt that the aftersales services provided by M/s Manoranjan is very poor.
                    Requested to kindly rectify the problem in the Washing Machine as early as possible.

                      SIR,

                      WATER LEAKAGE FROM BACKSIDE WINDOWS & SWING NOT FUNCTIONING.

                      With reference to the above complaints your madurai service centre officer replaced the motor for swing and collected Rs.350/- being the cost of the motor charges for which neither Job card nor bill was issued, during the power cut time and trial run was not taken.

                      On the same day I found out of six swing and water leakage is still continuous for which you Madurai office rectified the swing panels and collected Rs.150/- as service charges for which bill was not issued.

                      I repeated the request to rectify the water leakage, was vain upto this time and now I pray you to advice your Madurai service centre to rectify the water leakage and also to deliver the realative bills of Rs.350/- and Rs.150/- and oblige.

                        my washing machine is not working from first day as their were few nut missing on the day of purchase which was noted by the Neel enterprises samta madam on the bill itself, but now they refuse to repair, as on the day of installation the water started draining out from a missing rubber cork near the heater plug, they said they will fix it , after few days the belt was torn and now the situation is like that the machine is in dismentalled condition for last one month . According to bill date my mwashing machine is still under warranty and needs replacment but the Neel Enterprises says rudly pls. talk to the company we are not responsible for this.

                            Dear sir/ madam,

                            We purchased kenstar vibrant air cooler on the 26th of march from big bazaar (j p nagar, bangalore ) . the cooler was fine for just 4 days and later it stopped working. After a complaint was given, a technician visited and said that he needs to replace the blower which was done, but the very next day it stopped working. another complaint was given and this time he said the pump needs to be replaced. we were irked this time and asked for a replacement. the call was attended by one mr rohit who said he cannot replace it under any context and even as i was talking, he disconnected the call. the rude behavior of the company officials is very disturbing.We have paid rs 5140 for the product and the money i now feel is lost. i strongly recommend buyers not to go for the product as even the service is very unsatisfactory. even after having coughed up rs 5140 we have to bear with the heat.

                              I have a AIR COOLER (CW0121) , I have complain it in previous year but no one came to repair it, this year I have also complained for it but no one come yet ( MY COMPLIAN NO IS KLA0406001). If you can’t repair it than please close your service centre because if a company can’t repair for 2 years then no use to waste our time & your company money.

                                Kenstar/ Air Cooler — Motor Not working

                                Kenstar Aircooler Purched on 13.04.2010. Only one hour worked and then not working till now. We register the complaint for customer care . One of the executive came from my house and open the Aircooler, he said motor is not working. At the same time we went shop please replace it, the shop owner told that it is not our responsibility to change the cooler.

                                kenstar air cooler have many problems. mostly in motor problem i also bought 1 air cooler before 1 year but now swing motor is not working when i asked customer care to change they said it will charge 1200. i will never buy kenstar air cooler again.

                                Hi Kenstar Team,

                                We had purchased Kenstar Cooler on 29th Apr, 2016 from Croma, Bangalore. But the cooler worked only for 2 days and then stopped(Motor got burned). We informed Croma, Bangalore, but they informed to connect with Kenstar customer care. We had to complain 3 times before they finally reached home to get it serviced. We informed them that they need to get the cooler exchanged since we used it only for 2 days, but they were only wanting to change the motor. After that we have been again following up with them, but sadly a month is passed and no one as been attending our calls or get anything done about it.

                                Kenstar coolers are totally useless and their after sales service even worst. I repent for purchasing the same.

                                  Bought a food processor about two months back from mayur vihar dealer. The motor was making big noise , hence customer care was called and the mechanic told that it is new and will be okay. Next the burning smell started coming and mechanic said varnish problem, but this problem persists.

                                  We have also experienced the same problem.When I had launched a complaint & the mechanic visited, he told that this is the normal noise.He could not solve the problem. When we use the food processor then our neighbors use to come to us & enquired about the same.My little baby who is 6 months old awakens from the sleep when we use it.
                                  Can anybody suggest the where to lodge the complaint so that some action can be expected from Videocon.

                                  I had purchased Kenstar - Karishma Food Processor 1.5 years back it is within the warrantee period but not working fine. I have handed-over to Shimoga (Karnataka) Service Center on 9th July. But not repaired at all.

                                    The tag line of "World's No 1" against the name Kenstar shows that they rightfully claim that tagline for the "worst products in the history of industrialisation". My company purchased an air-cooler in May 2009 (still within warranty period). The product broke down within a month. They never responded to the calls. Several months later, I got a person to come and check it and replace the blower and it broke down again in 2 weeks! The cycle repeated again and these guys (Mukesh Rathod, Irfan Golundas, Nilesh,Vyas etc). With great efforts I raised the complaint to a manager cadre guy named 'Nithesh' who promised me decent service promptly. I haven't heard from him in days and neither is he picking my calls. Even a manager does not keep his word in Kenstar. I agree that this company should be banned in India. Such irresponsible people should nt be taken into any private company. The government employees are more loyal to their organisation than these cheats.

                                    WE HAVE PURCHASED A SPLIT A.C FOR OFFICE PURPOSE IN 2006 FROM JAIN ELECTRONICS, (NOW ARIHANT) PURULIA.IN 2008 MARCH THE A.C AFTER RUNNING FOR SOMETIME BLOWS HOT AIR.WE HAVE ASKED M/S JAIN ELECTRONICS TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER.THEY GAVE QUOTATION FOR RS 2750 FOR REPAIRING.BUT EVEN AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND PERSONAL VISIT THEY CAME IN AND INFORMED US THAT SINCE WE DO NOT HAVE THE REMOTE THE PROBLEM LIES IN THERE AND THEY INFORMED US THAT THEY WILL PROVIDE A REMOTE SHORTLY AND THE PROBLEM WILL BE LOOKED INTO.ON 03.12.2008 THE A.C GOT FIRE IN OUR OFFICE SYTEM ROOM.EVEN TODAY THE AC HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED OR REPLACED EVEN THOUGH IN THE LAST MONTH TECHNICALS FROM KENSTAR VISITED THE BRANCH.

                                    i purchased one kenstar microwave oven from gwalior, Mp on the commitment of best sercice provide by the company, but within a week i transfered from gwalior to lucknow meanwhile my microwave unable to work within 10 days from the purchase . i requested so many times for the repair but till date it is still not working after paying a heavy amount on purchase . so i dont know how company is surviving without after sale service .it is very patthetik for consumers.

                                    I had bought a Kenstar Microwave last year from Amravati, Maharashtra and brought it to Pune. After working fine for 1 week, the plate started giving problems. I raised a complaint for that with the Customer Care and someone came to verify it. After inspection, the engineer said that some lock is broken and he will replace it in 1 week.

                                    No one came even after 3 weeks so we called the person again and then he came and replaced the lock. It worked fine for 2 days and again started giving same problem. We called again and this time the engineer said that the problem is with the motor. He replaced the motor after another 1 month. This worked fine for 1 day and then the timer started giving problems. We are not able to set the timer. It sets only at 95 minutes that too only on High Power PH1. We have called Customer Care several times and they assure always that the engineer will call back but no one has called for the last 3 months. We called the engineer directly and he says he will come to our place but no one comes.

                                    This is disgusting. If the problem can’t be corrected then replace my microwave.

                                    Can someone please look into this? My complaint number is PUN[protected].

                                      I am having the Kenstar's Water Purifier purchased from Mahalaxmi Steel, Sonepur, ORISSA three years back.

                                      Last three months the matching is not functioning because of certain problems?

                                      I have called many times to the customer service centre, but always got response that “we will do it within 24 hours sir”. But nothing is happening.

                                        Hi,

                                        I had raised a ticket with the Kenstar customer care cell with number: COC[protected] on 27th Feb 2010, to repair our Kenstar tumble top washing machine. After two-three days, the service person turned up from your Kottayama franchisee (Prompt Appliance Service), and told us that there seems to be some problem with some card. Again, he camet back and and reinspected the washing machine after two days, and this time he found that there is no problem with the card, and it seems like he has to take it to the service center to repair. It is more than a week since this happed.

                                        We are calling the Prompt service center almost every day, asking them to take the machine for repair. Until now, nothing had happed... On rechecking with the call center on the status of the ticket, I was informed that the ticket has been closed by stating 'explained to the customer'... Wonder does he meant by stating that ' explained to the customer that this washing machine will not work?'

                                        We trust the videocon brand and its service network when we bought the Kenstar washing machine. It is quite pathetic that the service net work is so irresponsible and so poor...

                                        I tried sending a mail to the ID given in their service Bill:[protected]@videoconmail.com, but it is bouncing

                                        Request you to take immediate steps to resolve the issue, and kindly acknowledge this.
