Horrible experience with worst quality product: Kent RO water purifier
Purchased a Kent RO 3 years back (Apr’2017) and replaced the existing water filter due to quality and service issues. Like everyone, I thought the decision was good as purchased the best RO among other products.
My nightmare started when problem came within one year. Frequent breakdown of the water filter has caused me to buy outside canned water which was a very costly affair. No option was available but to repair the RO to get filtered water. Gradually problem started again and again and need to contact their service toll free no repeatedly.
Please note that, you need to change 6 nos of filters inside the RO costing around Rs 5050/ year and the horrible point is, the same is having only 3 months guarantee. To my horror, after spending Rs 5050/-, inlet filter was replaced again after exactly 3 months 10 days with a total expenditure of Rs 850/ - with servicing cost.
This RO is so pathetic, you need to change frequently various spare parts as the quality is very worst. Interestingly, filters and other parts just fails after guarantee period is over.
The machine was purchased for Rs 15, 500/- and already more than Rs 9000/- spent towards various spares within 3 years.
Even in one occasion, after the complaint was registered, service person came after 10 days and told me to replace all the filters. I must have spent Rs 2000/- to Rs 3000/- on buying outside canned water during the above period.
Now I am repenting on buying KENT RO water purifier system which is nothing but complete harassment to customer.
Please remember the following problems which I faced:
1. Spare parts/ water filters are extremely costly.
2. Even if it is written that the filters need to be changed after one year, the same may be required to change after only 3 months guarantee period.
3. Every year, be prepared to change all the 6 nos of filters costing a total amount of Rs 5000/- to Rs 5500/- including servicing cost.
4. Apart from the above, pipe lines, connectors will fail frequently and needs to be replaced with a cost.
5. Even, the electronic board will fail which needs to be replaced.
6. Pre filter is provided as per their recommendation, but water quality does not improve with this and parts will fail as per their age.
7. No guarantee on attending your call on time.
8. Frequent change in their servicing agency (5 different service agency has come to me within three years)

It's very pathetic to catch Kent RO customer service representative to escalate their concern except service request where customers cheated by the local hired service center technician.
I am requesting you to kindly change the procedure for which customer cann directly raising their concerns instead of standing on queue(Every time except service request on other service un-satisfication issues Customer care service centre hold the calls more than 5minutes later it will be disconnected).
Today I was recieved many calls regrading the issues which was possible due to the consumer complaints forum only.
Note :We are(Customers) harassed by the technician while they have supported by Kent RO management people, otherelse the matter not highlighted on this forrum.
Hope you will understand the basic need of customer service support procedure.
Awaiting for your further action plan to resolve my issues.
