Today i have visited the ktm showroom just to fix the bolt of my stand of my ktm 200 but the service men waited me for 3 hours it would hardly take 10 minutes to fix it the service men told me that he has to open all the panel to fix the bolt i told him to fix it but he dint fix it after 3 hours i was frustrated and i fixed it from the local mechanic in 15 min what is the use of showroom if the local mechanic does it in fraction second of time so please

    There is a serious quality issue with the new ktm duke 390 2017 model. I got the bike on 8/22/2017 from mangalore and since i work in coimbatore i decided to ride this weekend from mangalore to coimbatore and after riding the bike for around 100 kms my bike started showing engine temperature high warning on the tft display so i decided to stop the bike and check what was wrong, when i check the coolant level it was nill! Absolutely nothing and later i looked at the oil level to my surprise it was greenish in colour which was supposed to be transparent ; it was mixed with the engine oil and there was no coolant left. I was aware of this issue for the older bikes. So i decided to take the bike back to mangalore in a tempo, transportation of which costed me around 6000 rs and i had to cancel my trip. I demand to get the engine replaced because the bike was only run for 250 kms.

      Hello there my name is tousif shaikh. I recently booked duke 200 from borivali ktm. I must say the worst experience ever i have faced from them. Not a single call from their side. And false statement each and every time. I have to call up for delivery. Now its 20 days passing in rto still left and they have told me it will take 7 days more for passing and after that i will receive registration no in 5 days. So more 10 days to go wow. No discipline no courtesy. I will inform each and every friend and family not to buy ktm and lets see what else is there in future.

        Sir my name is alok pratap singh and i baught ktm rc390 from stanly road allahabad uttar pradesh showroom in 11th march i got all services on time from authorised service station at stanly road civilines allahabad and took care of the bike as much as i can i ride bike for leiser and not for daily commuting so just rain 10500km.in since 11 march 2017 and i noticed that engine oil level goes down very frequently when i showed it to supervisor at authorised service centre stanly road civilines allahabad uttar pradesh i was told that there is defect in engine and need overhauling first they tried putting 16000rs. On me but when i told them that bike is under warranty my bike is only 4 months old and all the services done timely on ktm service centre and finally they told me that i need to pay labours and most of the parts which they don't cover in warranty and finally they are completed engine in 20 days and i pay 16570 rs. And after few days my bike engine totally damaged again in varanshi and i gave my bike in varanshi ktm service centre now my bike is varanshi ktm service centre now i want to my money back which i pay in allahabad ktm service centre and i want to warranty because my bike is under warranty why should i pay for the defect in the bike in case of no proper and timely resolution i plan to take the matter to all concern authorities forums and social media

          I am owner of KTM Duke 390 bearing registration number- HR-51 BK– 6967.
          Since its purchase in Jul 2016, I am always getting its service/repair from authorized KTM
          Dealer and always used KTM Genuine Spare Parts purchased from them.

          Since the day I have bought my ktm duke 390, From T C Saluja & Sons P.LTD, Plot 63 Neelam Bata.
          I had a problem of Handle Balancing Due to this bike not balanced on Riding.
          The bike is swaying from Right side while driving and is hard to balance on when applying Brakes on roads.
          When Appling Front Brake On Speed Between 60 to 70 Bike Handle Automatically Turn Right Side
          and when trying to hold vehicle Straight bike automatically move to Left.
          Due To This also I have started getting "Right" hand ache (actually the shoulder) even if I ride the bike for 10 kms or More.

          The Balancing issue was from the first service but yet not resolved I have visited 4 Times to T C Saluja & Sons
          dealer with the Same complaint of Handle Balancing.
          Every Time After examining & Reworking the vehicle Problem was as it is, I am not satishfied with Reworking.
          Whenever I go to them they loosen or tighten the steering, which doesn’t solve the problem at all.
          Dealer supervisor ( Mr. Manish ) suggests me To Visit Noida At Suman Bajaj, I Have Visited 3 Times But Problem was same.
          I Have visited more than 5 KTM Dealers in NCR For More Information You Can Check My Details On Service System.

          I believe that ktm duke 390 is a premium segment motorcycle and we as a consumer trust ktm and purchase the same.
          You are kindly requested to look into this matter and please suggest me what to do. also suggest me to dealer name where I visit
          to verify this problem to KTM company service engineer. I am also agree to send back My Duke 390 to Chakan manufacturing
          plant for Analysis.

            I stay in bhayander and the nearest ktm center for me is the one mira bhayander road. However the quality of service offered there is not good. The service person lacks experience. For even the smallest of the issue they will do experiment on your bike by completely dismantling the bike for no reason. All they know is open up the parts and then again fix back to where it was.
            I have no trust on these peope. Also i do not see a single person there wearing official ktm brand tshirt. I doubt their authenticity
            Once i had a small issue with the radiator, i saw this people watching videos on youtube and experimenting on bike.
            It is very hard to see someone playing with 2.5 lakh bike. I request ktm people to please take a look into this matter very seriously.

                My ktm duke 250 refuses to start one day it was showing can failure and low battery on the display, i called the showroom guys they came and jump started the bike with there battery. We took it to the service center they said it was a defective battery and have replaced it. Even though it was a new battery same problem repeated after 1 month the bike refuses to start again. Showroom guys jump started it and said it was fine. The same issue occurred 3rd time, this time they installed a software update thought it was fine but my bike stopped on the road last night it was saturday night and service center is closed on sunday, i had to leave the bike in an unsecured location. What should i do, i believe its not my fault trusting ktm. Please solve my issue. Its only 3 months hardly with my 250. What is this can failure issue, please help me...

                  I have recently purchased new ktm duke 390 on 16th apr 2017 and it has coolant leakage issue from june 2017 and there is no trace of leakage to be found on the bike. Ktm dealer at goregaon, mumbai has identified the problem and on 1st of august they changed the water pump seal, engine head gasket, oil filter, engine packing, clutch cover packing, engine oil etc etc
                  After the change i took the delivery and faced the same problem again in the evening i dropped the bike to service center.
                  I believe that ktm duke 390 is a premium segment motorcycle and we as a consumer trust ktm and purchase the same. As now i am aware that the engine is opened for doing the job. I would request ktm that i would not accept the delivery of such kind of faulty engine and i request ktm to issue me a replacement engine (Brand new) or exchange the bike as it's still in warranty period. I am expecting a positive reply from ktm and i hope the ktm group does nt dissappoint me.

                      I had booked my duke 390 2017 mode on the 3rd of july through finance but paying an initial amount of 1.2lachs today is my bday and i was told i will get my bike yesterday on the 24th once my do is done by the manager of kln ambattur mr. Balaji only for me to come and sit in the showroom for 2 hrs on the 24th for him to come and tell me it will be done today the 25th as "the funds are not released yet" when he told me once the do is delivered to me i will deliver the bike i am highly disappointed with his behaviour not taking any and absolutely no responsibilitiy in regards to the customer and tells me his managing director is important than his customer. I am writing to you guys hoping you will take some action in regards to this. This is my humble request for y'all to. If ktm respects their customers kindly do something about this

                      My ktm Duke 390 had some starting problem on 7-7-2017 I gave it to service in kengeri ktm showroom(banglore) on the same day...till now they haven't returned my bike to me... They are telling because of GST they are not getting the part they require... Now they are telling they need one more week to repair my bike... I request to solve my problem

                        I have recently purchased new ktm duke 390 on 14th apr 2017 and it has coolant leakage issue from may 2017 and there is no trace of leakage to be found on the bike. Ktm dealer at mysore has failed miserably in determining solution to the leakage problem.
                        I have been visiting them every now and then and still the issue persists. Recently on 20th july they changed the oil seal of the bike as they told that the coolant is mixing with engine oil.
                        After the change still the issue is not resolved. I rode about 180km and the coolant has disappeared.
                        Kindly i request ktm to resolve the issue or exchange the bike as it's still in warranty.

                          In the first service the vehicle was unwashed and service is also unsatisfactory, vehicle is also not working properly, milage is not good, engine is so much noisy and the service staff at Mahaveer Marg, Shipra path, Mansarovar Jaipur, is not co operative regarding the whole matter.
                          Kindly take a corrective measure otherwise I am going to file a complaint in consumer forum.

                            Since the day I have bought my ktm duke 250, I had a problem of power loss should it to the showroom twice and they assured me that it's fine but I still received more problems day by day. Now the front oil seal has a problem my disc brake has a problem I don't get it what kind of bike have I bought that even after paying 2 lacks I still have to pay and pay and pay for everyday problems. It has just been 3 months with the bike and I m facing new problems day by day please look into it I really need an answer. I bought this vehicle from KTM SHOWROOM BANJARA HILL, KBR ROAD. I request you to take an action on this.

                              My reference: reg. No. Up 70 dm 2287 ktm duke 200.

                              This is to let you know that i (Mohd tauseef) submitted my bike on may 18, 2017 for servicing randomly. I saw little crack on the chassis near radiator i has shown this fact to mechanic. He replied "this is not a major issue get this weld done from out side. I am highly disappointed with the quality of ktm.

                              My bike duke 200 chassis is crack from front side i also attached photos of my bike problem issues.

                              Mainly issues is my bike under warranty date of purchasing is 20 / july / 2016

                              After saying much, i expect a decent response from you.

                              KTM bike is best bike but its service is worst. Specially KTM Anisabad Patna.my KTM bike got accident. I submit bike on 9 march 2018 and today is 8 April 2018. The service manager Rajesh told me that my bike will in my hand under 22-23 march 2018.Approx 1 months is done. He doesn't response on my call and also rejected my call. What I can do. I also call the SM Ankit Khare he told me on 3rd April your bike will be in your hand.but that day SM not receiving my call and hold my call up to 30-45 min.what is this, this type of service are available in KTM. Again I call in Anisabad Rajesh service manager is very rude, he told me "mil jayega bike next month "very rudely. And then disconnect my call.Plz response on my message other I see you.

                                Though i clearly told the spare part guy in garve ktm, pimple gurav that i need a gasket cover for duke 390 2015 edition and he checked also in book provided by company, he gave me gasket cover of duke 200. When i notice that, i went to exchange that part with duke 390 gasket. He rejected the exchange /refund. Instead of his fault, he said counter sale cant be returned /refund.

                                I have a rc 200, 2017 edition and I have used it just for 45 days and the shock absorber has a manufacturing defect, the service people told me they will replace the part within a week but it has been more than 15 days and they haven't replaced it yet

                                  I brought ktm duke 200 in the year 2014, and on 27th or 28th if may 2017 i was coming from my office and it started raining so i parked the vehicle by road side and stood for about 2 hrs as it was raining heavily, and after the rain reduced so tried to start but it is not starting and could come to know that rain water has entered the digital meter and not starting, i dint know what to do some how it took around 4 to 5 hours to get back home towing the vehicle, next day i took the vehicle to ktm service center and showed them they said water has entered meter and battery has also gone (Short or dead) so both meter and battery costs around 8500rs and asking me to pay and change it. I started asking i have not damaged it physically or for no mistake of mine y should i pay 8500rs. If the ktm design is so bad that water has entered so they mean to say if it rains we have to safe the vehicle first then we have to look for ourselves, so people who buy ktms should be really rich, only rich people should buy ktm bikes is it.
                                  And warranty only 2 years after that we have sell it off is it.
                                  Please help me out in this, i want justice.

                                    All problems started immediately after my Duke 390 bike service at Kalyani KTM, Banashankari, Bangalore branch. Within 50-60 kms of riding, the coolant started leaking. Once I left the bike at the service station, they came up with new complaints like Engine over heating and have not been able to resolve this for about a month now. Note that, these problems never ever existed until my recent service. This has been a very pathetic service being provided. And if I ask any questions they either tell lies or just dodge the question and be ignorant. The phrases i am told are "We dont know what to do" etc.

                                    This is really frustrating and noone there to listen to customer's problems. Could someone please help.

                                      I Pushpak, booked KTM 250 on the 14/5/17 from Sai Service Agency, Lower Parel, Mumbai. I paid Rs.1000/- against booking. While booking the concern person said the amount is refundable. Due to some financial/personal problem in my family, I had planned to buy the bike afterwards. Now the concern person saying he will refund me only Rs.500. I want my entire money.
                                      It will be great if you do the needful.

                                        I am owner of 2013 Duke 200. Bike is really great and fun to ride. My concern is with the unskilled stuff at most of the KTM service centers. What are the measures taken to maintain the brand value of KTM in india?. As i have seen, the service of KTM is getting really pathetic.

                                        Particularly the "Kivraj motors" situated near domlur which is an authorized KTM service center (walkable distance from my apartment) give a really unsatisfactory service. Even the simplest chain lubrication is done in a really pathetic way. Also, they couldnt solve my handle bar alignment issue till date. Please have a look at the skill set of your staffs, which according to me is at level 0.

                                        Anyways i dont go to any authorized service center now, as i have lost the confidence in a any service center's around bangalore. But please have a look at the issue, as I am really sceptical about upgrading to bigger bike in KTM brand itself. Am scared to buy Kawasaki versys 650 either, because i got to know that Kawasaki will be serviced by KTM itself in India!!! . Same view from my every friends who own KTM.
