I have a Ktm rc 390 which was purchased on 31 march 2015. In just 5 month there occured some problem in the rear brakes of the bike..I took my bike to "DEWAN AUTO" okhla, New delhi for 1st servicing and resolving the brake issue on 26th Sep 2015. I was told that there is fault in master cylinder of the rear brake and this part need to be replaced for which they have lodged a request to the company and will take 7 days to receive that part. They took my number and told me that they will give me a call. However, even after 15 days when I didnt hear anything from the service centre, I went back again on 10.10.15 and enquired about the status of the part surprisingly to which, i got to know that they have not even entered my request.

On my showing utmost dissatisfaction, they said that they will now enter the request and the part will arrive in next 15 days. Also they assured me that they will give me a call this time as and when the part will arrive. I waited again for the call but didnt heard anything from them. I waiting for full 6 weeks and again enquired for my part on phne on 8.11.15 and this time again they were clueless about the part and told me that they are again forwarding the request.

This is such an irresponsible behaviour from Deewan Bajaj and also from the company KTM itself as they are not able to provide after sales service to its customers.

Meanwhile during this entire excercise I almost escape a major accident due to no rear brakes in my bike.

Now I request the honourable court to take strict action against both the companies for not doing their part of duty and request to penalise for the damages, inconvinence, and mental hardship i have undergone for the entire 1.5 months. Also I request the honourable court to instruct the company to either replace the faulty part and if not then the whole bike..

    Regards

I bought a RC200 on January 2015 since that day I was facing problems, first one was with the side stand which got loose so I took it to near by ktm service center and asked them for a repair and they just tightened it and gave it back and the problem kept on repeating and I used to take it frequently to service center and they doesn't seem to look into the matter why it was getting loosen,
after few days I noticed oil leak from my engine side and I again took it to the service center and they asked me to keep the bike in the service center for 3 days, after 3 days I got the bike repaired and again after few days the problem again came the same oil leak was there and my bikes throttle has decreased drastically.
when I took it to the service center they doesn't seem to care my bike instead they show a very rude behavior to the customer.
after few days my battery got dead and I got stranded on the street several times, when I took the battery to near by battery shop they told me that the battery has got a bulge on one of its side .
again I had to take my bike to the ktm service center and they asked me to keep the bike for 20 days for replacement for the mean time they don't even have a backup battery for customers.
pls help me with the problems mentioned above.
the after sale service is very poor and delear response to customer is very bad.
plz look into the matter and help me and several other customers .

Yes, they attended my home personally by the service technicians and took note of all the complaints and got fixed all the complaints by evening itself.

Staff people ought here are unresponsive.they are very rude to customers few times.and the service staff is crappy. Whenever we need to service our bikes or have some problem in bike, they don't solve it . instead they ask us to come over another day and this repeats several times. In case if v want to replace any part by ourselves, they won't even give the counter sale of parts. I'm really annoyed, disappointed and pissed off with these guys due to thier behavior with customers... So I kind request to take a keen action against them as many people have been fed up of this place.

        EMI STAMENT

i wil lost my original document and give the statement of that loan.

          My name is eldho,

I had purchased an rc 390 from the ktm vytilla showroom in cochin, kerala yesterday (Oct 1st).
It was duly informed by me early in the morning that i would be coming to collect the bike. I have phone call records to prove it!!!

Upon arrival, a series of shocking events happened to unfold from 5:30 pm onwards : -

1.) the bike key was missing for some time
2.) the wrong insurance package policy was chosen
3.) the temporary registration papers dint arrive untill 7 - 30 pm
4.) the sales executive (Who is a complete) did not even turn up!!! Really weird!!!
5.) pdi (Pre - delivery inspection) was not done
6.) teflon coat / polishing was not done
7.) the showroom manager had no clue about what to do since the sales executive (Akhil) dint even have the time to inform him that i am coming to take the bike.
8.) the attitude of the sales team was so terrible!!! It was more like, """ now that you have bought the bike, you cannot return it, the bike is lying outside, just take it and go, i have to go home, its already 7 - 30pm """

          Today morning (Oct 2nd),

1.) the coolant is below minimum, now i am even terrified to start the bike
2.) now i am wondering if the engine oil and brake fluid are also below minimum.

Very urgently!!! Send some one from the dealership to my house immediately with the essentials (Coolant, brake - fluid and engine oil)
Also if anything else needs to be checked, the necessary equipment

I am very much welcome to any possible solution that the manufacturer can come up with.
I bought this bike with extremely high hopes, and this is what i am rewarded with, no peace of mind and constant trauma of what might go wrong.

Is this the ktm commitment to its patrons???
Isn't the manufacturer worried about the safety of its patrons??

A very shocked and traumatized customer

I had the misfortune of booking KTM duke from Sarvodaya Goregaon showroom. I was asked by the representative of KTM Goregaon - Sarvodaya, Mitra, in the 1st week of September that Duke 390 is available and will be delivered to me by 10th September max. I tried getting in touch with him on 7th September to confirm my booking and nobody answered the phone. Same was the case on 8th September. On 9th, i visited the showroom and met a guy called Joy who informed me that the bike is in the godown and he has no idea who has been asked to get the bike to the showroom. i asked him to speak with Mitra who was on leave (most of them are randomly on leave), Mitra did not pick his phone. i asked Joy to speak with Mitra and inform me which Joy did not. On 10th i called up Sarvodaya showroom and asked when can i come to collect my bike and Joy told me by 7 p.m. At 7 p.m on 10th september i go to the showroom and Mitra tells me that the bike is not here yet and apologised profusely for not communicating with me. He promised me the bike will be at my place on 11th. On my way back i call up Mitra's senior, Mr Sunil Moore, who also apologised and told me that the bike will be delivered on 11th. On 11th i am told by Joy that the bike is going through inspection at the showroom and i will have it by 7 p.m. Then mid-day i get a call from Mr. Moore who informed me that he needs another day to finish inspecting. I blasted him for not keeping his commitment and going back on his promise. 12th, i receive the bike in the evening but to my shock without registration. I called up Mitra and he told me that it will be done on 13th since 12th was a Sunday. They handed me the octroi and form 19 to ride the bike without registration. 13th i called up the showroom and Joy told me that Mitra has gone to procure the registration so it should be at the showroom by evening. Again Mr. Moore called me up and told me that Mitra has not got the registration and it will take another day. On 15th i called up Mr Moore who apologised for not keeping his commitment and told me that there is some fee transaction issue at the R.T.O and he asked me time till 17th. I patiently heard him out and gave him time till 17th. Today, 17th September i called up Mr Moore who told me that the officers are on leave at the R.T.O so it has not happened. He has asked me for another day. It is extremely unfortunate that an international brand like KTM and Bajaj have not learnt the meaning of customer service. Their sales people keep going back on their promises, lying through their teeth, miscommunicating and giving excuses. It has been a very unfortunate decision to buy a bike like KTM Duke from such irresponsible and novice dealership. I am riding the bike to work without registration since past 1 week. Its been only 7 months since i purchased RC 200 and have rode only about 3000 kms and am having oil leakage problem near the suspension(rear).. wem claimed for a free replacement they denied it.. They told me it wud cost Rs4500 for its replacement and my warranty claim would be denied and moreover it would take more than 3 months time to get a reply from the head office regarding the warranty claim..they tell that the main cause for the leakage is a cut in the rubber material near the suspension and the reason for that being dust and mud even though i clean the suspension area very regularly as instructed by them... Plss Help me out with this asap... Branch : BTM, Bangalore

Why bajaj/ ktm will not launch rc 125 in india .Bajaj company owner is not going to launch this model bcoz of bajaj low model bike if ktm rc125 comes in india it will affect in sales of bajaj motor cycles specially bajaj 125 and 150 cc bikes
Bajaj bikes are poor and type bikes specially pulsar 150 and ns 200 . Bajaj is not launching ktm rc125 in india bcoz of its sefish ness. Other bike company should take the authority to sale ktm bikes in india then this bajaj will know .I wish that ktm breaks its partership with bajaj and join hand with any other bike company in india like hero tvs mahindra etc ...plz bring rc125 in india ...students will give blessing to bajaj

Dear Consumer Complaints, I have purchased a KTM Duke 200, Now I am completely pissed off after a good purchase, there is a poor service from the service center what they have in Indiranagar ( Bangalore) even though I am having the warranty for bike for 2 years I have spend nearly 60000 for the service There is no point of service from the provider, Full of wrong commitments to sell out their spares even though its all in good working condition, No proper delivery time at the service collection, I just wanna to escalate this in the consumer complaints to take a action on their poor service which has been provided, And want to block the service center which is placed in IndiraNagar. So in future any consumer will not face any kind of problem like this ...

                          Address: Mumbai City, Maharashtra

                          Attention Mr Amit Nandi,

I started my journey with KTM India 3 years ago when i bought the duke 200, all of the initial thrill and excitement was killed when i noticed an oil leak in less than 1500kms, while going to the work station a number of times i tried to convince your mechanics at the ghtakopar workstation in Mumbai that there is an oil leak, but they would just laugh it off and tell me to ride freely, since i am a technically inclined person and have been living with engines of all times be it Aircraft engines, or old bike engines such as the 1980 rd350 and the 1979 Honda CB 650 both the bikes of which i own i knew there was a leak, so finally i manage to convince them at the 5th visit.
The issue seemed to be resolved as i saw them ripping the engine casing and replacing the faulty gasket of the bike with a new one, but soon after hardly riding another 1000km, the same issue re- occurred. Now this was getting too much but i still tolerated it as i had my other bikes with better reliability to bank on.
A year and a half later the duke 390 was introduced and i happened to buy the bike because i thought it would be a better riding experience...sale date was 25th Nov 2013.
Unfortunately i got all that i didn't expect,
with hardly 900 km on the ODO (about 3 weeks later) i once again saw an oil leak this time from the head of the engine, furious at this i immediately called Mr Mayank Bhatt Area service engineer about the same, and was told by him that it would not do harm to the engine, well honestly ...i really don't know how ?. I also had a problem where the bike would refuse to get into gear or sometimes into neutral, and randomly and occasionally stall when the clutch is pulled.

To rectify the oil leak on the head, the faulty gasket had to be removed and replaced with a new one all in under 1000kms, after that, the mechanics tried to do wonders with tightening and loosening the clutch cable but to no effect, final the clutch and gear assembly side was also opened and a new clutch and gear changing assembly put in and resealed with another gasket...this was getting just too much, but the bike stalling still hasn't changed at all, a lot was done, the electronics changed, (new test ECU). all plugs cleaned with wd45, yet no resolve the bike still stalled when i drew the clutch. After almost 20 days and spending almost 10 days at the workshop sometimes from 10am to 5pm and the bike being taken from me for more than 4 days for various reasons, there has still been no resolve.
A few days ago I also had a NEAR DEATH experience almost involving me in an accident because of this MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE . Not like BAJAJ KTM are bothered.
Yesterday after almost 23days, the bike was once again taken from me saying this would be the final time, i was told that the bikes head and lid was once again ripped open to adjust the valves and its seams, but can you believe it, it still stalled.
THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. This is so unprofessional and incompetent of the mechanics. They mutilated and molested by new engine which had a ton of faults right from the beginning.

This is to inform you that i will not be taking back this bike under any circumstances as it has no value whatsoever.
This complaint has also gone viral on Facebook duke 390 Mumbai forums and is circulating the air like wild fire, but that's not what you are bothered about as told to me by one of your engineers.
I have paid a lot of money, and have got no worth of it at all.. I am determined not to take this bike back and demand my money back or a replacement piece at the earliest as the engine now has no value as it has been opened so many times.
Isn't KTM INDIA bothered about the safety of its patrons. I guess not.
This issue has also been mailed to a leading car and motorbike magazine, just so that the brotherhood of biking is not effected by your vying ways of asking your patrons to cheat death.
I would like to answer from you as soon as possible.
