Hi KTM has given me a bike with defective engine
The bike doesn't start,
it's been serviced on time and well maintained.But have no idea what is wrong

Even if it starts after a long time, it's fine till there is stop and go traffic and it shuts down again. Only God's grace will start the bike again

Engine heats up like instantly, Lets say I start the bike and reach the first 500m and engine Reaches its full high temperature
Kindly revert ASAP and resolve my issue

    I have given my bike for service and told them to repair it all and specially the abs system .i am having duke 390 . as its 2013 model i am satisfied with that model but the carelesness of the service center is very bad they dont even know how to repair the abs even when i give the bike for rhe service i told them to repair abs but as its not working even the service charge is also so costly .i paid 14000 rupees this as it was 20000 last time. what is this the ktm is going down due to this kind of behaviour i dont like ktm also i have tell them that i am not getting to put neutral in shifti g as i told the mechanic but no response ...pls i[censored] can help and reply to me .

      They r not doing good job. I have given my ktm 200 for chacess. About 2 month thay didn't do anything
      after I gave presure. So they work.they gAve my bike after two month
      So kindly take some action.
      I have given my bike in mayur ktm rajpur road dehradun. My name is tenzin sangmo my bike is ktm 200. They charges me 19500 for chacess. They didn't do their job good but the bill is so many.kindly take some action.

      Because of faulty fuel pump and leakage my bike is at bangalore north yelahanka service station, from last more than 1 month.
      No proper responce. From last 1 month they just called twice.. once to tell nature of problme. later unavailability of spare..

        My duke bike which was bought on 16/12/2014 with the vehicle identification number of vbkjuc401ec012456 has undergone repair in spormoto/turkey.
        It has been noticed that it burned too much oil and water at 4.500 km and has been repaired under the warranty by supermoto. at 6000 km we have started to hear strange sounds coming from the engine and took the bike to spormoto again. we have been told that we left the engine without oil and that it was our own fault. are we paying 400 liras (150 euros) for a check up for nothing? they are dragging the quality of the brand downwards, these kind of problems happen always in turkey. how could it be that a bike make strange sounds at 6000 km and burn oil? i’m asking kindly for you to bring a solution to this problem. kind regards, talha elmas

          I have bought a new bike ktm 200 its givies lots of problems but i manged but some days back my bike seased wile i was ride due to engine oil was mixed up with my coolent so i complained about it it took lot of time but i thougt company will refund me but they took labour charge which is so much... I will suggest my all freinds do not but this product its waste of money as we r not getting service properly

            I booked the krm rc390 on 5th june 2015, they promised 15-20 days max.
            I got the delivery of my rc390 on 25th june 2015 from goregaon ktm but without any number. They gave me all the papers except the insurance on

            5th of july

            When the insurance arrived later on in the month it has cubic capacity mentioned as 199cc. I need to call up insurance company numerous times to

            Get this rectified in 20-25 days.

            After a month or i got my registration paper on mail. This time the error was with the model. They have mentioned ktm duke.

            I went to ktm goregaon showroom, they took my original registration paper and gave me a xerox to keep and assured me that my corrected

            Registration paper would reach me in 15-20 days. This was august end. After 15 days i visit them they said it will be done and get delivered.

            I went out of town, returned back still no paper. I again visited them only to know that the sales team has changed and i need to explain

            Everything again. They said will check my paper and call me in couple of hours. They called after couple of hrs to say it will processed on

            Priority and reach in 15 -20 days.. After a month just 2 days ago i called them and they were like i need to check the paper in company and i

            Needed to explain them the entire thing once again. He said he will get back to me but havent yet. Did you get the loop? Again after 15 days i

            Will call they wont remember me and i will explain everything again and they will again assure me a call back or 15-20 days.

            Now the scenario is i am having the bike for six month but no proper registration papers (Rc paper).

            Bravo ktm goregaon on acheiving beautiful service.
            After i emailed them last i got a call very next day from mr sunil more. He was some manager with bajaj and sounded very professional and assured me that within 50 days the rc paper would be in my hand. Days passed by and i kept following up with him and he came up with new stories everytime. Like the rc paper has been lost and we need to apply from duplicate then apply for the change. He even asked me can i come any weekend to the rto for it. Then after a week on asking update he said we are working on getting things done so i dont have to come to the rto. Then he says rto is taking lot of time. Theyn when i buzz him during the weedays he says by friday he will update me but that friday doesnt comes.

            Dec 28 2015 he assured me 50 days and its june. So more than 5 months has passed but nothing done.

            Its almost one year since i bought my bike but i dont have the papers in my hand.

              Lasd day i had given my ktm duke 200 orange color for servicing at trivandrum authorised service centre. There was some oil leak in the engine so the dismantled the tank whether at the time of loosing the screw or tighting the screw the tank had broken. And they are saying its not there fault. As a bike owner my bike is my everythng. Service providers are irresponsible. If they wont replace it i will go to consumer court

              In BTM service centre, they have not fixed front wheel and shock absorbers properly.
              This almost resulted in an accident, whenever I ride it on a speedbreaker, the wheels makes a loud sound n it feels like the wheel will dispatch!!
              They have not tighten then rear break too..!
              They have charged 3180 Rs for this worst service..
              My ktm 200 has been given to mayure ktm

                I have purchased a KTM RC200 bike from your approved Dealer M/S Sarathy Motors Kollam. The Vehicle I purchsed is for the use of my son who is a student and Iam working outside. I have been given the first two services promptly by the dealer. But your dealer neither reminded me the third service thro any telephone call nor thro SMS which all the companies are doing as a part of thier best services. My son being a student who is busy and serious of things failed to give the vehicle for service by himself without a reminder. When I came on leave on[protected] i have noticed the non service which is actually due in Feb-16. When i claimed the service they refused the same and asked me to avail a paid service. We have canvassed and recomended few of our friends to purchase this vehicle and my son participated in few of your dealers promotional rallies. But this incident is a shock for us being the reason we are still getting very good and prompt services with repeated reminders from the dealers of our all other vehicles including for our Maruthi Car which is more than 10 years old and one Hero Honda bike which is more than 5 years old. The era being highly competitive and cusotmer centric, the attitude of your dealer will harm your company sale. I understood many customers that the services of your dealer at Kollam is the worst in the town. As such kindly arrange and instuct your delaer for proving us the 3rd service without any objection. We found their adamency will affect the sale of this high cost vehicle in the town. Anticipating your prompt intervention in the issue.

                  I have purchased my new bike which is ktm duke 390 on yesterday. When i ride my bike the chain is sounding really bad.new bikes dont have these kind of issues.from yesterday i never speed up my bike . When i ride it the chain is sounding really bad its a major fault from ktm.i want my bike replaced by them.it seems that i wasted my money to buy this bike.i want it replaced by them so its a hereby request to please look into my matter n i hope for the best.

                        It clocked 15 days after dropping my bike at ktm service centre. I don't think such a long time is required for an international company for a silly issue. Either company or service centre is irresponsible. I think it's time to move on! !

                          It has been 2 days since the bike has been given .. There is always an issue in this bike its has never been without any issue .
                          I am really disappointed with the bike . KTM i suppose was a good bike but i regret the day i bought this bike ..
                          I think that the bike is a waste of my money
                          The heating issue has never been solved i am so tired that i have stopped complaining about it ..the switch issue was solved after several month, after i told them several time that also non of my mistake .
                          Now have given the bike because the same does not start two days after service they say its an electrical issue but they had check & repaired the wiring in the service in front of me & then this ... Either they don't repari it properly or sorry to say they don't known how to do it or its done on purpose .. I am not sure anymore
                          Or i have a faulty bike if you go to see it has not run that many kms still so many issue are there

                          I am really really upto in expense more then that going again n again for repairs .. I need a perment solution to this .. Or i am sorry to say will have no choice to take further action on this

                            I am so sad and very pleased to bring to your notice that this is the second time I am changing my starter coil and battery for paid and not for warranty even though I have carried out all the periodic services at KTM service centre only as per the schedule of the company for which you may check the records.
                            Its unbelievable and I don't know why it is always happening with such a branded and trusted compaby like KTM.

                                My Name is Eldho.
                                I had purchased a KTM RC 390 on October 2015.

                                From the time i have taken delivery of the Bike i am facing Issues with the Dealership/Manufacturer . Previous Issue i have posted on this website on the day i took delivery of the Bike.
                                The Present issue is so ridiculous !!!
                                From the time of completing the First Service, i have been facing issues with the Bike. So many parts have been replaced under warranty, i was beginning to doubt on the reliability factor of this product.
                                But from December 2015 onwards i have not been able to use my Bike, since it has been lying with KTM Vytilla till date. They cannot even diagnose what is wrong with my Bike.
                                In the first week of January, a trained staff of KTM came to take a look at the bike.He went back without being able to help in anyway.
                                In the 4th week of January, The so called "Technical Team" from KTM India arrived and that led to no where as the bike was still lying there and i have not even got an update from KTM India and not even from the Dealership. I has been over a month and i am not given a explanation by anyone. Only thing they tell me is that they need more time !! for what ?? Keep my bike with them till i die of Old Age ??
                                Latest Information i have received is that the R&D Team of Bajaj will be coming to take look at the Issue, but they will not come soon as they have the Launch of their New Product, Bajaj Vikrant !!! WTF ?????

                                The South India Head had called me to ask me for more time to diagnose the Issue with my Bike. It seems that 5 weeks wasn't enough !!
                                I have also given him another alternative to which he would not agree. He can keep the bike for as long as he wants as long as KTM India pays the EMI on the Bike. The bike was with them for past ONE MONTH !!! so it should be fair that KTM should pay the last month EMI as i have not even seen my bike in Last ONE MONTH.

                                As far as i have seen, the service guys at the KTM Vytilla are not getting any support from manufacturer. They offered me a spare RC 390 for my temporary use. Seeing the pathetic condition of the bike, i decided to go home in an Auto !!!
                                This is the Price i have to pay for buying the most expensive KTM Product Sold in India !!!

                                I hope i get Justice for the trauma i am facing for buying a KTM Product.
                                It has been 4 Months Since i purchased it, of which 1 WHOLE MONTH it was lying in KTM Vytilla.

                                A Cheated and Tormented Customer of KTM !!!

                                  My bike has now been at KTM in Clearwater for 4 weeks now and I'm still getting NOWHERE. It's been determined that it is a warranty fault, and at first they were waiting for parts. It has now been 3 weeks after that and I just heard that they need to re-open the engine again. After they have been doing nothing on it for the past week apparently because of a "backlog".

                                  I have also tried searching all over the internet, and nowhere is a contact number for any customer care??

                                      Dear Sir, I had purchased a KTM 390 Vehicle Reg: no: MH 48 X 9495 1 year and a few months back, i had a problem with the radiator fan. I was informed by Mr.Akshay from Suryoday KTM Vasai Service dealer on 11/12/2015 that the radiator fan needs to be replaced and it will be replaced under warranty free of cost. But after few days i got a call from Mr.Akshay from Suryoday KTM Vasai Service centre stating that the free replacement will not be available for next 20 to 25 days so he advised to go for a paid part so that i dont have to wait for so long to get my KTM 390 back. upon his insistence i told him to change the radiator fan and he explained the charges i needed to pay for the part. But even after a week when i inquired at the service centre my ktm is still not ready and the staff there has no clue about to what has to be done with my KTM. Even after paying for the free part to get my KTM back from the service as soon as possible, due to carelessness of Mr.Akshay my KTM is still not ready. I need my KTM back from service as soon as possible, and i need to KTM management to question Mr. Akshay for his attitude or unwillingness or his sheer carelessness to satisfy the customer's problems.                                         I bought Ktm Duke 200 a month ago and i have been to ktm dealers for atleast 10 times because of the gear shifting problem ... whenever i go from 1st to 2nd gear the bike goes into nuteral and whenever i try to go from 2 to 1st gear to gear lever stucks down i have to push the gear lever 2-3 times then it comes up... whenever i went to dealer ship of ktm they have told me that i dont know how to ride ... seriously i have driven many bikes like benelli 300 or ninja 300 none of the bike has any kind of problem plz try to understand the problem and FIX IT ASAP!!!
