Dear Sir;

I wish to bring the following into your notice.
Today a service engineer visited my home to mantle the LED LAMP which was removed and carried by the previous engineer.The LED LAMP he brought was not new but the used one(I dont mind for it ). After fixing the lamp he switched it on. I was standing at the door of the kitchen as the Chimney is fixed just beside the door. After switching the lamp on he asked me is it lighting - I noticed that the light is coming from both side's lamp I said yes.I had full trust and belief that the work shall be done ethically.About 10 minutes after the engineer left, my wife asked me to show that the lamp is OK or not? then I switched on the lamp and notice from behind the chimney that out of the 9 LEDs in one of the LAMP, 3 LEDs are not working.I felt insulted and my belief and trust on the company and the person who is really involved in handling matter is spoiled.Please don't do such things on the pretext of handling and complains. May I deserve to know that in spite of several request why the defective LAMP was replaced by the defective LAMP?
The casual approach of the company/ service/ maintenance department has commpelled me to inform the matter to consumer complain forum.

today one service engineer, visited my residence with a set of bulb which does not fit in the chimney, he carried away with him the pair of the defective led lamp and assured me to replace it as soon as possible latest by the next week.

Dear sir;
I purchased KUTCHINA SMARTEK on 13/08/2012 from Unique Services 20/A, South Purbanchal Hospital Road, Kolkata 700078

The Machine Code : C[protected] SMARTEC.

Since last one and half month the LED lamps are not working. I lodges a complain over service center contact no.[protected].The complain no. is 1075.I am sorry to say that it took many day to do any thing worth to resolve the problem. Lastly the day before yesterday I was informed by the service center that the LED lamp shall be replaced on payment basis , it is not covered in warranty.

I have WARRANTY CUM SERVICE BOOK with me and read it thouroughly but no where find that LED lamp is not covered under warranty.
You are requested to let me know on which page/para it is mentioned that the LED lamps are not covered under warranty.

Expecting a prompt reply/ action.

    free service not receiving as we are having the warranty period

    My name is shreyashi chowdhury, i am a teacher. I have purchased a Kutchina chimney on the month of oct-2012 from khosla electronics behala branch. I tried phone repeatedly for free service. But it is a matter of great regret that they did not response and only one time came for servicing the product after a lot of request and i.e. after six months.
    I think it is your duty to serve the product at the free of cost during its warranty...

    I had purchased a kutchina vogue chimney last year. And I got very irregular service to that. Every time I had to call the sales person and still it was very uncertain if the servicing will be done or not. Now after the end of the warranty period of my chimney, the sales person came and requested us to go for a contract with them for servicing. We were horrified for our previous experience regarding servicing. but to our surprise, we got a call from the office informing us about the service. And after 4 days the service man came and did the servicing of our chimney.

College of Commerce,2nd Lane, Midnapore-721101). I tried phone repeatedly for free service.           i am purchased one Kutchina Chimney on 10/3/2012 from Spark Inovations after that i received 3 free services instead of 4 free services from their side.

          i now inform you that i have given one cheque vide no.274644 drawn on Allahabad Bank, Lake Gardens Branch of Rs.2300/- dated 2.1.2013 to Spark Inovations against AMC (Annual Maintenance Charges) to their Service Manager Rezaul Mollah ([protected]) but till date i have not received my one free service & AMC Services.

          Please look into the matter as early as possible.

            I bought a kutchina ARC machine last month, and they installed it at my kitchen. But within 3 days I realized the machine was not fitted properly. And it seems to break down on my oven; I was scared as me and my daughter both cook there. I called at kutchina office and told them to come at an emergency basis. Thanks to the team kutchina, they came within 24 hours as on priority basis and installed the chimney properly. Thanks for solving my problem.

              I bought a Kutchina Vogue Chimney from CNRC Associates, Jadavpur in the year 2009. It was all fine until Sept, 2012- when suddenly it started giving electric shocks while turning on. I called Kutchina Customer care, and within 24 hrs, their technician arrived on promised time, and provided impeccable service. Way to go!

                    Hi,

                    Myself Miss Sudeshna Mazumdar, resident of 51/A, Kailash Banerjee Lane, Bally-Howrah has booked a kitchen chimney on 07.06.2012 from your authorized dealer "Reliable Services", address - 55/1, Hriday Krishna Banerjee Lane, Howrah - 711201 by paying Rs. 2000/initially to one of your sales representative Mr. Rohan Biswas - +91 [protected]. After booking the kitchen chimney, Mr. Biswas started to convince me for the modular kitchen set up and he introduced Mr. Palash Bhattacharya - +91 [protected] as his senior and started to visit my house with him frequently.

                    After few request from both of them, I got convinced for the modular kitchen set up and the entire set-up has been finalized at INR. 45,000/ along with the chimney.

                    Next, on 04.07.2012, I paid INR. 10,000/ as the 1st installment to Mr. Palash Bhattacharya by cash and I have both the bill with me... which I am gonna forward to you (scanned copy) within tomorrow itself.

                    Now, I paid total Rs.12,000/ already. Again, Mr.Palash was started forcing me to pay him Rs. 20,000/ more to start up their job. Then, I request him to install my kitchen chimney as off now, as I have already paid Rs. 12,000/ and told him that I am not thinking about the modular kitchen set up right now as I think at present it would be nothing but a burden for me financially and requested him to install my chimney only as off now. Then Mr. Palash told me, in that case, I have to pay Rs.990/more to him as the chimney will cost total Rs. 12,990/. I told him "No problem" and repeatedly request him to install my chimney asap. This is almost before 4 weeks. After that, almost everyday I used to call up Mr.Palash and Mr. Rohan but now none of them is receiving my call. Some guy, named Mr. "Biswajit" is receiving the no. of Mr. Rohan now and behaving quite rudely and almost threatening me to not give any call over that no. I am repeatedly requesting him to provide me the current contact no. of Mr. Rohan or provide me some contacts of any seniors; but he is not at all cooperating me and behaving as if I am disturbing him by knocking him up !!!

                    The situation of Mr. Palash is more mistrustful... 1st of all, he is not at all receiving my call, sometimes he handing over his phone to some other person, like Mr. Sukumar and that Mr. Sukumar is saying that, "Madam, I am taking care of the chimney set up and will be sending someone to your place of tomorrow"... but that tomorrow is never coming since past almost 1 month.

                    Everyday am calling Mr. Palash, Mr. Rohan, Mr. Sukumar ( +91 [protected]) and no one is picking up my phone now.

                    Please tell me, what will I do ??? I have already paid Rs. 12,000/ to those guys, and I will forward you the bills asap.

                    I am fed-up now... I was almost going to launch FIR against them at Bally police station and Concumer forum, W.B today but suddenly I thought before taking any such step, once I should inform the head office; and yesterday I have informed them through their provided e-mail ids - [protected]@kutchina.com and [protected]@kutchina.com with the scanned copy of the bills.I still believe that an organization like "Kutchina" can not practice this kind of fraud business, I am sure it is entirely from that dealer point.

                    I still trust "Kutchina" as a would be customer and please do not let my faith dye. Please do something against these frauds. They are cheating people using your brand name randomly.I am knocking your door; as I am fed-up with these guys now. Please give me the justice.

(mobile No. [protected]) came to me and suggested to take MODEL - KUTCHINA SLEEK rate is Rs. 13500/- after exchange I have to pay Rs.11000.00 deal finalised given him 4 cheques (Rs. 4400+2200+2200+2200). and it installed on 12th of August, 2012. In the mean time I have searched your website and other sites and called them for purchase the same model. they said the price is Rs.11290/-

                      Can you tell me whey that guy cheat me like a local companey? What is the remidy to rectify them?

                        This is to inform you that I placed an order for Modular Kitchen on 30/04/2012 having order no. E/ 008. The Sales Executive of your company Mr. Somnath Mondal is dealing with us. He has committed to us that the job will be finished within 3 days from the date of order. But he did not complete it. Then he apologised and asked for another 12 days to complete the job. But he did not keep his word and did not finish the job on 15/05/12.

                        Now, this is to let you know, there is an urgency to complete the kitchen as we wanted to shift to our new home on 1st June, 2012 and we invited the guests. There is also a marriage ceremony of my son, which had to be postponed due to the negligence of your staff and your company. This is a serious issue of harassment and prestige and loss of our valuable time, money and peace of mind.

                        However, even on 15/05/12 he did not complete his job. After that he has given us dates after dates more than twenty times, But, as usual, he failed to complete the job each and every time. He never comes on the date and time as scheduled previously and whenever we try to call them, they just simply switch off the mobiles. Sometimes, he comes to work at 10 p.m at night. And it seems that his intention was not right and this is also a safety and security issues. He sometimes comes with strange people whose appearance are not at all social. Since the very beginning, they are harassing me and my family repeatedly on several occasions with fake hopes, and hampering our valuable time which tends to business loss and loss of money.

                        This is to bring your attention, that a company like KUTCHINA has a franchisee / Distributor like C & RC Associate who are having employees like Somnath Mondal ([protected]) and Avijit Mondal ([protected]). These people always lie, behave like cheater, and they never have an intention to work at site. We are your customer and we see your employees at site, how they work, behave, and deal with the customer. These people never left a good impression, rather spoiled our good moments several times which are priceless.

                        Previously, we already complained to you, but we did not find any solution and any change from your side. It seems that your company and your all staffs believe in harrasing your customers and wasting their valuable time and money.

                        Therefore, we have no options left, other than going to court of Law to get the compensation and justice for the loss of our valuable time, money, prestige and peace of mind.

                        Lastly, Yesterday on 27/06/2012, we made complaint to Sonarpur P.S. against your company and the employees.

                        This is for your kind information and necessary actions.

                          I had purchased one Kutchina Vouge Chimeny on July 2011. At the time of purchase we were not told by the franchisee holder of Konnagar ( Manasatala, just behind Netaji Statue, Criper Road) that we have to take on call free service and the same will not be provide without any call. At the time of first servicing he had shown me that the same was written on the booklet.At that point of time we had no choice but to accept the same. After that we had forget to call them at the time of second servicing which was due on March'2012 due to our busy schedule as me and my wife both are engaged in service. In the month of April when we had called them they have advised us that as the time of second servicing has already over so we can opt for the third servicing which will be due in next July. We had agreed to that and book a call for the servicing and also informed them that we will be only available on sunday of saturday evening. They have agreed and noted our call. Unfortunately after that till date we are receiving only calls from the different offices where one office does not know about the communication of another and asking us that have we received the service or not and every time they have advised us to book a new complaint for servicing which we do not get till date.

                          Finally, today when Mr. Dilip das from Konnagar Service Center has communicated us the same thing once again we have communicated him that we have not received the service till date. After that he has abused very irately saying "what are you talking rubbish ( In bengali apni ki ultopalta kotha bolchhen)" and disconnected the line.

                          We have lodged 2 complaints in the prescribed mail id of Kutchina which were also unresponded. In view of the above we would like draw the matter under the adjudication for the mental harrasment.

                            With due respect, I beg to draw your kind attention to the fact that, on 9TH September, 2011, a written contract has been signed with SRIRAM’S APPLIANCES, Authorized Distributor of KUTCHINA [Bankimpally, Behind Oriental Bank of Commerce, Mdhyamgram, Kolkata – 700129.                             But, I am very much disappointed because the services they have provided so far were unsatisfactory & unfinished too. As promised by their respective person, the entire work supposed to be finished by 19th October, 2011. This caused a significant inconvenience and financial loss.
                            This is in breach of our contract as laid down by the law.

                            To resolve the problem I require you to take the necessary action whilst reserving my right to claim against you.

                              In the present arrangement any service man comes , cleans the chimney and takes money. The dealer has not dealing the service matter properly.The service charge is Rs. 500/- which is more than the service charge of a car. The work involve is only for one hour. The chimney is spoiling all the wall of kitchen. What is the use of purchasing such chimney ?. Chimney cleaning has become monopoly business ,the dealer is not selling any parts and insist on servicing from a lay man without any identity card.

                                Please do not buy Kutchina chimney. They are putting all money into advertising but their product quality and after sales service is worst in the country. They are selling Chinese products at extremely high prices. I bought a chimney from them in the month of feb this year. But the model (Stanza) is making lots of noise. Even their service technician agreed that it is a Chinese product and that I should get it replaced with some other brand. I cannot believe I wasted 18,000 for this disgusting product only to come to know that I have paid more than the MRP. Their customer service is also worst in the industry. I have filled their online form for thousand times and must have called their office more than thousand times, but no response. I am fed up of them and am writing today to let everyone else know that Please Please Please do not buy products from such fraud companies.

                                I have bought a KUTCHINA PURICA water purifier(RO) on 26.04.2011. It was running fine till October 2011 when it stopped pouring water. I have contacted nearby service center. They came timely and get it serviced. But the problem started now. To fill the internal tank of 7 lit. nearly 15 lit. of water is drained out of the outlet pipe! I contacted again with the service center. Hearing the problem they said that it is obvious and they also regretted for not saying me this during installation of machine. I said that it was not so before their service, they replied with smile that perhaps I have not seen it before. Is it true? If yes then the system is faulty as drainage of such a huge amount of water is not economical in this era of water crisis. I am waiting for your reply. Then I have to think otherwise.                                     I have purchased Kutchina's Stanza model on 10/02/2011 and since the day of purchase I have been sorry about my decision. The sales man told me that it was a 3rd generation technology and that it cleans oil automatically. But since the very first day the chimney has been making awkward sounds, on complaining the service man came and tried to convince us that it is normal for a chimney to make such noise, but the condition kept getting worse. Since last month oil is dripping on the gas oven and sometimes in our food. We have finally thrown it away and bought Shakers chimney after seeing their ad in newspapers. Now finally we have peace of mind.

                                    Please do not buy Kutchina chimeny, they have very poor quality and worst after sales service. The office people speak to customers in very rough manner. i think the government should take steps against such dubious companies.

                                    I purchased "Kutchina Vogue" on 29.01.2011from Lokenath Appliances, Baghajatin, Kolkata- 700092. Oil is dripping on from the small oil cups on the gas oven and sometimes on the food itself. Most of the time during working hours the phone of the service centre is deliberately kept switched off. However if luck favours and one gets them over phone they after much enquiry give a complaint no. and the matter ends there. Not only the product their Post sale service is also very very poor. I w'not recommend any body to buy Kutchina Chimney.

                                      I bought the following items for my new flat from M/S Lifeline Appliances, 140/4 James Long Sarani, Kolkata 700008
                                      1) Kutchina Hob 3B-DL
                                      2) Kutchina Chimney Vogue(s/s)

                                      I have service contract made with the dealer which is valid for the Hob till 25/11/2010 and for the chimney till20/06/2011.

                                      On October 21,2010 I found that the Hob was not working properly and I called up the dealer for service against the service contract. I was really surprised and shocked when the dealer told me that they had no technician for Hob and will have to look for someone before they can look into my problem. Till date that is October 28, 2010 no service has been provided and I am having great difficulty as cooking has become almost impossible with two larger burners not working! The Hob ,in greneral is of poor quality!

                                      I wonder why the dealer should take Annual service contract if they do not have the required staff and why KUTCHINA gives dealership to such inefficient and unreliable organization.

                                      Now I look forward to you ,as the main dealer to come to my rescue which I hope will be possible.

                                      I bought a Kutchina make kitchen Chimney, model FIEONA SS ( sl.no.[protected] on 24.08.2013 vide invoice no. 182 from M/S A.G. Sales & Services ( branch office), Inda, Kharagpur, West Bengal . Since the installation ( dated 07.09.2013 ) of the said product, I have been complaining about the continuous " OIL DROPPING" on the cooking food or on the boiled milk from all over the chimney area instead of accumulation in oil reservoir. This is very ridiculous and unethical about the costly product as well as the after sales and services promised by the Kutchina agency. I have made repeated call ( [protected], [protected] & [protected] ) to resolve the issue but all my request has gone to deaf's ear. A few days back, I spoke to Mr. Bhagat ( [protected] ) of A.G. Sales, Midnapore and asked him the solution and in reply he said that this FIEONA SS machine has inherent manufacturing problem and we are to fix another net inside and the problem will be solved. Accordingly they came and fixed some thing inside almost a month ago. Apart from all your research work, OIL DROPPING continues till date. Even today on response to my call, Mr. Jana from the said franchise admitted that the FIEONA SS having such problem and there are many complaints ( 40-50% ) which is quite higher for this model. Therefore, I need the said chimney ( improved version ) to be replaced or my money Rs.16, 500/- to be returned to me immediately. This franchise ( A.G. Sales & Servives ) is worthless and not able to resolve my problem.

                                      I bought a Kutchina make kitchen Chimney, model FIEONA SS ( sl.no.[protected] on 24.08.2013 vide invoice no. 182 from M/S A.G. Sales & Services ( branch office), Inda, Kharagpur, West Bengal . Since the installation ( dated 07.09.2013 ) of the said product, I have been complaining about the continuous " OIL DROPPING" on the cooking food or on the boiled milk from all over the chimney area instead of accumulation in oil reservoir. This is very ridiculous and unethical about the costly product as well as the after sales and services promised by the Kutchina agency. I have made repeated call ( [protected], [protected] & [protected] ) to resolve the issue but all my request has gone to deaf's ear. A few days back, I spoke to Mr. Bhagat ( [protected] ) of A.G. Sales, Midnapore and asked him the solution and in reply he said that this FIEONA SS machine has inherent manufacturing problem and we are to fix another net inside and the problem will be solved. Accordingly they came and fixed some thing inside almost a month ago. Apart from all your research work, OIL DROPPING continues till date.                                       I bought smartec auto chimney from Kutchina on 31/10/13. On 20/10/14 I made an Annual Maintenance Contract

                                      (for 9000/- INR I think) with them for 3 years through Lokenath Appliance (their authorized service centre) .

                                      Around April, 2015 I started to get problem with my fans of the chimney which is freely replaceable under my

                                      contract. So, I contacted them repeatedly and everytime they came for servicing they fixed it temporarily and

                                      left which aggravated the problem and my machine stopped working completely. So, I request them for servicing

                                      and on 18/01/2016 they (LOKENATH KITCHEN SOLUTION /LOKENATH APPLIANCE) came to my house and took the circuit

                                      board for repairing, declining my request for replacement of the faulty part. They gave the deadline of

                                      18/02/16 before which they will deliver my serviced working circuit board (YES 1 FULL MONTH WITHOUT CHIMNEY..

                                      MY KITCHEN IS MESSED UP!!). But they failed to delivered it by 18/02/2016. So I tried to contact them several

                                      time and most of the time failed as they ignore phone call from customers. After repeated attempt when I got

                                      connected I requested to deliver my product but They denied delivery saying there is no deadline for delivery

                                      of serviced product at kutchina and they do not care if i am having problem for that, rather they can take my
                                      product for servicing and keep it as long as they want or for indefinite time period and if they get time they

                                      may consider to

                                      service it. After that they are not answering my phone. I tried calling KUTCHINA CUSTOMER CARE but they are

                                      reasoning with me that they will only look into the matter without any guarantee as I purchased it from their

                                      authorized dealer not from there head office store (I don't know what kind of service reasoning is that!!!).

                                      So please look into this matter and help to solve my problem as soon as possible. To the other consumer please

                                      avoid kutchina at all cost as you will get no service from them after purchasing even with costly AMC!!
