I purchased a Lenovo laptop for my son, Ideapad Y510 p, Serial No. YB02306359, through Flipkart on May 14th 2014. Within a few months, the laptop developed the problem of not starting up, even if it was shut down properly. It would start whimsically, so I took it to the Lenovo Service Centre in MP Nagar Bhopal in about January/February 2015 and I was told the mother board had to be replaced. They did this within guarantee.
But after about a month after receiving the laptop was returned to me, it developed the same problem again. The service centre told me that the laptop was now out of warranty and they would not do anything. In desperation, I took the laptop to another service centre in August this year, who repaired it, but the problem has returned again. I am told that my laptop is going to have this problem and cannot be repaired. Obviously this is a manufacturing defect which must be looked into.
I went back to the Lenovo Service centre and complained. I was told that since the laptop is now out of warranty they are not going to do anything. Any repairs must be paid for.
The laptop costs Rs.80, 090/- on MRP and we got it for about Rs.70, 000/- . It is a steep sum, and it is despairing that it should become obsolete within a year and half of purchase. The manufacturing date on the box is 17th February 2014.
I wrote to the cusomer care executive of Lenovo on 24th November, whose name I found on the company website. He immediately responded and instructed his services team to attend. By then my son had moved to Pune, where had got admission in a college. My son took the laptop to a Lenovo Service centre in Pune, where their team informed him that the laptop's mother board was burning out because of a defective heat sink. We were further informed that we would have to pay for the repairs ourselves because the laptop was now out of guarantee.
Today I have received a mail from them which informs me that I have to pay an additional Rs.37, 375.60/- for the parts which include a mother board, heat sink and lower case. These have a guarantee of only 3 months.
I expect Lenovo to replace the laptop or repair the laptop at their own expense. My expectation is that the laptop should not require any major repairs for at least 3 years, but I expect a guarantee of at least 1 year. Due to the manufacturing defects and subsequent incompetence of their service centre we have gone through a lot of trouble. 1. Not having a laptop in spite of paying a high price, which cannot be easily spent again and again.
2. Running around for repairs, losing work, worry and stress of not being able to work and spending time and money.
Instead of being a satisfying experience, the purchase of the Lenovo laptop has been a nightmare.
I request Lenovo to repair the laptop at their own cost, and expect that the laptop will not give us trouble for at least another 2-3 years.
If I am to pay for the repairs, I should get a guarantee for 3 years.

      Hi, LenovoMobiles i have purchased Lenovo VIBE p1 (P1A42) in Nov 2015. Its not even 2 months and this mobile stopped charging. I took this mobile to lenovo service center in mallewsaram bangalore on Jan 8 2016. They said some parts is not working and needs to replaced with new one.
      very very Sad news is that it is almost one month now and this is not reparied till today.Whenever i call service center, they say mobile part is not recived from the lenovo company so they are taking time.

      Seriously, this is very much frustation and ambrassign thing that lenovo is the worst service thought i have seen when compare to other mobile service.

      I request of all guys not to purchase this kind of irresponsible company mobiles other wise you have to waste your money and time

        I sent my yoga laptop to be serviced for an obvious issue with the screen. This computer is used by an adult and to flip it over to use the touch screen is rarely used. The screen was opened and there was a small crackle heard. I didn't notice anything until I tried to flip it over to use the touch screen. The hinge appeared to be stuck and pulled apart from the frame. The defect in the hinge put pressure on the glass and the glass splintered. I received a phone call today and they are refusing to cover the repair. Asking for $650 to fix it. I am obviously extremely upset. The laptop is less than 6 months old and is not abused in any way. I would like to have this decision reevaluated by a supervisor immediately. My case # is cqh8hdw. My name is Christine Bushik. I have two more computers to purchase for my 12 and 17 year old children and I will not be looking at Lenovo for this purchase if we cannot come to a resolution. Thank you for your time.

                  Hi Team,

                  I bought Lenovo A-7000 few month ago, Which was getting problem in Touch Panel. I submitted same in Lenovo customer care centre Noida Sec 8. The phone was returned to me in 1 month, but after few days the same problem started again. Now already two months passed, I am not getting my phone back as they told me the supply of parts is not proper from Lenovo. For a company which have a well known name in market is unable to complete the supply of the parts. While you people are regularly launching the new phones.

                        I have purchased lenovo K3 Note from Flipkart. The phone is having a serious issue with the touch panel as it is not working at most of the times.

                        I have purchased it in September 2015 and i believe it is covered under warranty.
                        Lenovo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                        There has been no response. Its absolutely ridiculous on the part of lenovo.
                        Same problem i am facing. And even some time it automatically taking the touch event with out touching screen.

                        Its in guarantee period, but this behaviour is inconsistent.

                        What should i do?
                        This is a fake website . It is just a pot of honey for the people involved in phishing. They take your number and call to harass you. Nobody is bothered for providing a solution.

                          I have brought LENEVO K3 NOTE before 2 months ago but there is lots of problems with device releted to touch pad and network, service centre engineer said to me that it has MOTHER BOARD PROBLEM with device and mother board and touch will come after 25 days then tell me what the use of service centre while it taking too much time, I really very upset about with LENOVO K3 and in future I will never buy any LENOVO product again and also not recommends to any one to buy LENOVO products.

                            I had given my smartphone lenovo vibe k910l titanium to service centre for camera problem.

                            Now it has been 25 days and i have still not received my Phone.
                            The Service centre people are rude and not at all cooperative.
                            I tolled them that it has been 3 weeks now, they replied, we have customers with more than 1 month here, what about you, We dont know anything you talk with company.
                            Is it right answer by the service centre?? this is not at all fair behaviour by Lenovo. They have made me helpless.
                            I am going to lodge a complaint against Lenovo for improper service.
                            I have lost my trust on lenovo.
                            Never recommend it to any one in the world, rather recommend micromax.

                                  Sir,
                                  I purchased a lenovo A7000 model smartphone last year in the month of April. Initially the phone's WiFi worked efficiently but now its not. Its WiFi's range has been reduced considerably and moreover it is now not able to grab as much speed as earlier from the same network. Moreover, it now takes longer time to connect to the same network connection and sometimes it is not even connected to the saved connection. There are instances when the connection is not even detected. Now it is troubling a lot.
                                  In addition to this, there are cases when the phone's keypad stop working for a couple of seconds and causes delays in typing. Moreover, it sometimes gets hanged and i had to forcibly lock the phone so that it may work.
                                  As the mobile phone is in warranty period i request you to do the needful. hoping for an early response.

                                    My name is Subrat Satapathy from Chennai and please find the Work Order No: CTG/LO/15/00415 against my Lenovo K3 Note phone which I have submitted in the below mentioned Lenovo Service Center on 13th of January 2015.


                                    I am not getting a proper reply from the Service Center on the exact status of my Phone. My phone is under warranty and the left side of the screen developed some yellow patches for which the Service Center person has told that they need to replace the complete panel and it will take 10 days.

                                    Today while calling for the status i again got a reply that it will take 15days and they are asking me to write this to you.

                                    WHY SHOULD A CUSTOMER BUY A Rs.10K phone and the repair takes more than 15days under warranty. WHO WILL compensate me for the 15days as i have only this cell phone and i am managing currently with a very old phone.
                                    =============================================================
                                    I have called the Service Center on 25th Jan and they told that 27th Jan i will get the phone but today on calling they said it will take another 1-week or more and telling we cannot do anything and also said they have received spare parts which is for others. On asking some senior authority number they gave a number with Name : Mr. Vinoth: [protected]. I have tried about 10times to this number. The number is ringing but no one picking.
