Respected sir,
i..sunil kumar ,i m useing lenovo G 550, serial no..CBQ2026883..
from last one year..but during 2 monthhs i m faceing problem regarding battrery..
it will be exusted(dead)in 15 TO 20 MIN..
so i was registerd a complaint regarding battery to ur customer service[protected]
they will provided me one case id...([protected])
after this...i will go to the your customer service center
(CADDONS SERIVCES CENTER,banashankari,bangalore)
that guys(customer care people) wiill be provide me NEW BATTERY..but it will not
working more than 20 min...
i thought they will...provided me duplicate/dumy battery...
so please take action appropraite action against your service center..
at last..end of the day..when i calling to your customer care service
[protected] they will not ready to registerd my complaint,,after 30 min..conversation..
they wiill ready to registered my complaint..
my new case id ...([protected])
so please take ..appropraiate action against whole system...(LENOVO)

    I have bought Lenovo S10-3c mini laptop from M/s Unique info ways on February 22,2011.Within 1 month o[censored]sage i noticed a hairline crack in the plastic border along with the screen on left side top corner And slowly with the usage that crack potion became prominent and one day the piece came off .I went to the dealer from where i had purchased the system .the salesman there guided me to the service center there in Nehru Place .That Guy told me to talk to CC and register my complaint over phone which i did and after that i have sent the pics of laptop as was told by the cc executive over phone and got the reply via mail that the damage was physical and is not under warranty.But the damaged Body is not the result of any mishandling which i had even shown to the person available at the service center.As per my findings the plastic used in the body was of very poor quality that is why the plastic got crack itself with regular usage whats the use of purchasing this companies product if this is their policy to sell products without providing proper customer support.Please suggest

      Dear sir,

      I am facing problem with lenovo service, i just try to explain my
      problem and want permanent solution.

      I had complaint in lenovo customer care for my laptop's hing(Open close
      problem in flap of laptop), they log the complaint and assigned me a
      complaint number([protected] Dated 28.feb.2011).
      After that i received a call of Mr Arun from Service center of lenovo,
      Comnet vision, janak puri. he told me that in ur Laptop model hinges
      are not covered.
      After that i informed him that my hinges have already changed in
      warranty period, but he did not agree.(that time my hinges are ok and
      its too hard to move)
      but he did not agree to change it, after a week my left side hing has
      broken.

      After that i called to Lenovo customer care[protected] and informed
      the same they said that we are not covering the physical damage.

      There are several things to be consider -

      1. first they are claiming that hings are not covered

      2. after broken they said that physical damage not covers in warranty.

      3. hinges are the internal part of laptop, how it goes in physical
      damage, it will go in manufacturing defect.

      4.If Hinges are not covered in warranty how can they changed my hings
      in past.

      5. One of lenovo representative said that, one year back lenovo service
      was provided by RT Outsourcing and they had changed ur hinges but now
      IBM is providing the service and we are not covering the hinges in
      warranty.

      6. when i had purchased the warranty extension package for another two
      years they committed me that except battery all part will be covered.

      7. I Called several times at Lenovo Customer care and Lenovo Technical
      support but i did not get any positive response, they only give me a
      new number or told me to write a mail.

      8. i want any senior person of lenovo to have a talk me and clarify all
      my problems and please change my DVD ROM and Hinges as soon as
      possible.

          I am pradeep C studying B.E., final year.Yesterday (4.4.2011) i left my laptop in my room at karumathampatti where i am staying.My friend was sleeping from 3.30pm on that day.I went to bakery for refreshment at 3.45.At that time i forget to lock my room.I just closed the doors only.When i returned to my room,the door was opened..Suddenly i went to see my laptop.I found that it was stolen.I asked my friends but i cannot able to find the laptop...

          a black spot on the screen ,i went to lenovo sevice center with my laptop,they says its physical damage,but iam very sure this is not a physical damage..because after shutdown my laptop no damage shown on the screen..


          the lenovo service is very poor as compare to other companys....

            I am facing lots of problem regarding laptop.My laptop hard disk has been replaced two times within 6 months of warranty period.Laptop is still in warranty .Company is not ready to give replacement.They not providing proper service .If such things are happening in warranty period then after the the warranty gets over it would create lots of problem.Please try for system replacement.LAPTOP is still in warranty.It is a defective piece.Laptop serial no CBQ1778360

            Dear Sir,

            I bought a Lenovo laptop in dec 2013, from chandigarh.. And the day i purchased, it dint worked, I complained to them the vry next day.. dey jst reinstalled it nd gave me back.. aftr few days, it agn had d same problem, dey told to contact customer care.. den i noticed d laptop wuz broken too.. :( nd nw its jst 6 months nd d battery needs to be replaced.. :( I want ma laptop to be replaced with a New one..               lenovo Z560 — Not received the christmas gift 2010

              I bought a lenovo Z560 laptop on 31st dec 2010 on behalf of which I was supposed to get 1 gift i.e. cannon A495 digicam within 4 weeks. But I have not received my gift yet.
              my attitude is to take photos with my parents...I AM VERY GLAD TO RECEIVE IT...

                Dear Sir,

                This is Harmeet Singh Pruthi,I have a problem with my laptop. When I was switching it on, the screen was showing a message "BOOT MGR is missing", and recovery key is also not working.
                I have given my laptop to the nearest Service Center,i.e., HITECH Informatics, 301, 2nd floor, Oxford House, Rustom Pang main road, behind Manipal Hospital, Airport Road Bangalore.
                They said that they will informed me about my laptop after 4-5 days. They are charging me Rs.1500 even though my laptop is under warranty. I want to know that why they are asking for such an amount? I am seriously concern about the quality of service, which I came across in last few days.
                Please look to the complaint seriously. Awaiting for a reply from your side.

                    1) On 01/09/2010 we purchased lenovo laptop model no G[protected] & sr no-CBQ3459667 from universal computers,dombivali (Thane dist, Mumbai) authorized partner of lenovo
                    2) Within 2 days we faced the problem of windows getting corrupt. The engineer team o[censored]niversal computers installed fresh installation several times with genuine copy of windows 7 home basic but problem remained same
                    3) Universal computers logged a complaint on toll free no and registered a complaint for same (complain id is-[protected]) & i myself visited your authorized services center (bluecom technologies pvt ltd) on 23/10/10 and after that they replaced the hard drive & returned it to me on 01/11/10. The service report is attached for your reference.
                    4) However within a daythe problem again started. This time i again visited Bluecom technologies, and they took the request under the same earlier complaint ref no.[protected]. The issue was again resolved by them and laptop was returned to me within a span of 2-3 days. This time they had not replaced the HDD but through some other methods.
                    5) But the problem did not stop there. Again the issue cropped up (laptop not booting) within a dayand this time i went to my dealer (universal computers) to find a solution to this. They also tried their best to resolve the issue, but could not succeed. Hence we requested them to raise the concern to lenovo directly to replace the laptop itself.

                    On the basis of my complaint, finally a complaint was raised to customer care for replacement of the defective laptop under the case id [protected].The entire case details from that day is appended below.

                    On Nov 20, 2010 we received a mail from Neha Singh, Lenovo customer care (new case id[protected], stating that they are refunding the entire amount to me (though we had requested for replacement and never asked for refund, we were informed that our refund is being processed) and asked me to furnish necessary details

                    All the necessary details were provided by us on Nov 22, 2010 itself. From that day onwards we have been running from pillar to postfor following up of refund in this case. Though there were several reminders from our end, we only received false promises that the case is pending for approval etc etc....

                    Later, on Jan 22, 2011 after a span of two months Neha from customer care informed me that they are not providing any refund and would be sending an engineer for checking the laptop again. Though i was not keen to get this done, i still agreed on the condition that in case the issue still crops up, i would be given the entire amount as refund. Though this was verbally agreed, when i received the mail from Neha , i found that there was a condition, which stated that only if the problem arises within one month of the machine getting rectified, would they process my refund. this was something which i completely disagreed.

                    Would like to bring to your notice that since the day of purchase we have actually not been able to use this even for a week, and rather ended up following up with our dealers, service centres, customer care centres, for refund of our amount during this period of five months.

                    I have been following up with the service head of lenovo since last one month, however iam yet to receive any reply from their end either.

                      Aforeserve Pvt. Ltd. has collected a cheque of rs. 5500/- one and a half year before for on-site extended warranty for 2 yrs. for my Y510 Lenovo laptop. The engineer had given me a receipt then. Now Lenovo is refusing to give service because i do not hav a carepack which Aforeserve should have given me it seems. Aforeverve is now not dealing with Lenovo laptop service is the reply they gave me. Aforeserve has taken up all my money.I complainted so many times to them but they are not paying heed. I need help. PLease help me.

                        i have been provided mcaafe antivirus free for 12 moths asper scheme from the company.
                        after using net when i scan my comp., every time it ask for restart comp after removing trojans.so i aply restart . after that comp.restarts but 'yahoo' site does not opens everytime i scan process.
                        now i remove trojans using another antivirus the so called problem does not occurs.
                        that means provided antivirus Mcaafe is not responding very friquiently.

                          i,vikram kumar student of garden city college persuing bbm 3rd year bought my lenovo y510 laptop on 29 july 2008 from sigma infotech, #628/2,11th cross,1st stage indira nagar,bangalore,with invoice number 356.one month after the purchase the touchpad of my laptop stopped working. As i was busy withj my college work i cud'nt vist the customer care soon bt on11.08.09.i visited the lenovo service centre as my laptop was under warranty.they took almost 2months to resolved the issue and handed over by replacing top case of my topcase on 17.08.09 {reciept no.-1381} . apprroximately..two weeks later again touchpad once again stopped working and my top cover of laptop that is screen became very loose as a result of which i cudnt use my laptop without any support from back.As warranty period also ended during that,so,i contacted the customer care for the next procedure to be followed they instead of guiding me always insisted me to pay sum of rupees 5000 to extend my warranty period. As it was manufacturing defect i denied to pay the said amount.I suffered irrepaireable number of loss as many of my project works were delayed that fetched me very less mark in my practicals.I was unaware of the working of consumer forum which i got to know recently.therfore i have come before this Hon'ble consumer Forum for my right as i bought my laptop with lots of difficulties and i took my laptop in installment basis.

                          WHEREFORE,it is humbly prayed before the learned judges to
                          (i) Direct the said company to either replace my laptop or,
                          compensate for the inconvenience and loss caused i.e mental and physical harrasement caused
                          (ii) to pass any such order in light of justice and equity.

                            I had lodged a complaint regarding dis-functioning of the battery of my laptop on 12th of august from RANCHI. But when I didnot receive any imformation about the battery for the next one week I called the company again . They told me that the battery complaint has been logged for RAIPUR . I made contact with the Lenovo customer care at Raipur . Thay told me that they didnot have any idea about it . But they told me that they would transfer the call for Ranchi . After this I again called the company after a week . This time they told me that my complaint had been cancelled and that I should contact the login department . Since then the login department kept telling me to contact the status department and the status department kept telling to contact the login department . Nobody really knows what to do . I also sent some 6-7 mails regarding the problem but didnot get any reply . The warranty of the battery expired in October . On 3rd Jan 2011 , the complaint was relogged and I was told that it would be logged under warranty only . But they cancelled this call too stating that I should have contacted them earlier . I called them atleast 25-30 times between august and november . So there is no point that I did not contact them . Now they say that once the warranty has expired , they cannot do anything and I have to pay Rs.6000 for a new battery .

I baught a laptop of lenovo Sr No CBQ3256409 on 16.11.2010 from COMPUTER SHOPEE Russul chowk Jabalpur worth Rs;-34200 /- and after few days laptop is showing "WINDOWS IS NOT GENIUN". After that when i told to the shop owner about this complaint he told me to buy new WINDOWS OS CD. When i invetigate with other dealers about this laptop every buddy told me u have to get OS CD with that system. But that shop owner is not giving me. Please help me and do the needful.

                                  Hello Sir,

                                  I am Amit Kumar, I have purchased a laptop
                                  on[protected], unfortunately about in next 2 days,
                                  it was being hang.

                                  So, I contacted to my dealer then dealer formated
                                  my pc and reloaded all the softwares many times.
                                  But problem was not solved. Then my laptop is sent
                                  to any service centre by the dealer on[protected]about
                                  2 month after the date of purchasing).




                                  after this till now i am waiting to receive my
                                  laptop back......and today is[protected] about 1 month
                                  already passed.

                                    I bought lenovo laptop z460 45409 on[protected] at Rs.37000 from Oxygen Digital shop kottayam.the seller told me that there is a special offer on this purchase and the offer was a Digital Camera.they told me that the complany will sent it to me.but when I didnt get the offer I contacted the seller and that time they told me that inorder to get the offer i had to register in lenovo site before 3rd january but I got this information on last day.my invoice no: OXYKTM/10-11/B:6188.So iam waiting for your kind consideration.please give a reply as soos as possible.my e-mail id is [protected]@gmail.com

                                      I had lodged a complaint with the company about the battery of my laptop which was not working properly and was under warranty then . I lodged the complaint on 12th of August , 2010 . The battery was under warranty till the 2nd of October , 2010 . The complaint was made from Ranchi but they told me that as they did not have any service centre in Ranchi , the complaint would be dealt with in Raipur which was their nearest service centre to Ranchi . I then called their Raipur service centre the next day but the people there had no imformation about the complaint . Sometime after this , I came to know that the complaint has been cancelled . They told me that I had cancelled the complaint but I never did so . After this I called about 20 times between September and December but I never got any satisfactory reply from their side . On 3rd of January I told them my problem and they relogged the complaint and told me that the battery would be replaced under warranty only . But again yesterday I received a call from Lenovo support centre and was told that the battery cannot be replaced as the warranty has expired . They further told me that I should have contacted them earlier . Sir , if you check the call records , you will find that I have called them atleast 20 times if not more . I was also given an email i.d . There also I have forwarded my probem 6-7 times but never got any reply . Now they tell me that nothing can be done . Please help .
