I had purchased Lenovo laptop from Lenovo dealer Laptech Solutions Pvt Ltd, Pune on
15th Jul 2008. My laptop details are as,

Model: LENOVO IDEAPAD Y510 (775853Q)
Mfg date: 08/01/19
S/N: ABQ0030480
P/N: AB08011805
MT/mod: 7758-53Q S/N: ME-10772
(1S)MT/Mod: Serial Number: 7758-53Q ME-10772

There was scheme of "free 2 years additional warranty" and same was offered
to me by lenovo dealer. As per dealers advise, I had updated necessary data on Lenovo website
for warranty claims and I immediately received document stating redemption code RED[protected].
Then after, I didn't receive any communication or documents from Lenovo. Attached please find
copy of letter stating redemption code, purchase invoice and scheme of warranty offered to me.

Now, I am facing basic functioning issue with the laptop. When I approached to lenovo service center in Pune,
they didn't entertain my claim stating laptop is out of warranty. When I shown all these documents to them,
they advised me to write to Lenovo to update warranty period in their system. I requested lenovo to update
their system for two years warranty from the date of purchase to enable their service center to process my claim. Now Lenovo is not entertaining my request & denied to update the warranty without valid reason.

      I purchased ideapad y-650 laptop from a dealer
      M/s Pioneer marketing corporation,Visakhapatnam on 30th April 2010.
      On the same day i came to know that five keys of my laptop are not working.
      i could not give complain on Saturday as it was national holiday {labour day} & even on Sunday.
      The keys which are not working are
      '' f8 , 9 , o , l , . ''
      i have made every effort to contact customer care but they dont give proper responce to this.
      i dont have any service station near to my place as i am in orissa now .

        Dear Team,


        I want to register complaint regarding the Product laptop which i had purchased in 21 August 2009.
        My laptop chager gone faulty since last week. I am continuesly calling the customer care he told that your lap top is not in warranty. I am sending all the Bill and invoivce copy but till they had no logged a docket every time say that your warranty is expired and our database is not updated till now.
        I am suffering from last 1 wee very badly but no solution is provided after sending the all correct docutment. Customer care told me that lap top i had purchase is manufacuture in 2008 and there warrany expired. I had not knowleged regarding this issue. I had paid cash amount in 2009. after seen the bill copy till the he is not agree to log a docket and no provided the senoir authortiy detail .
        Kindly do the needful I am trust in Consumer court that there is some action will taken to provde the justice

          Lenovo ideapad Y330 — Faulty laptop

          Hi,
          I bought my laptop (Y330) from Unique infoways P. Ltd, 308, 3rd Floor, Skylark building in Nehru Place, on 11/06/09. I have been facing problems with the hard disk drive of the laptop since then and have already got it replaced twice, after taking a lot of trouble, as your customer care system is more than pathetic. The hard disk drive has again stopped working. I'm extremely agitated and concerned about my money and I would like you to kindly take the product back and refund my money, as I'm sick of trying to call your customer care every second month, wait for your kind gesture in arranging for the part and running around the city with my laptop to get the faulty part replaced. I would also like to inform you that I'm also considering filing a case in the consumer court for the same.

          Would appreciate if this mail is not sent to junk and i get a reply from your company on this.

            Dear Sir ,

            This is with reference to my 2 year Warranty Pack which i had purchased on
            02/-6/08 ( nearly 1 year & 10 months back ) for Rs 5500 but still my warranty has not
            been updated .
            In these 22 months, i have mailed them scans of all the required bills 100 times , have made 1000's of phone calls and another 100's of emails and each time i am told that it will be updated soon but still nothing has been done. My Laptop is giving many problems since a long time but i am not able to avail the warranty services because they are not updating my laptop warranty in their database . This has caused me immense trouble by hampering my work because of laptop problem, has given me a lot of mental trouble and has wasted a lot of my time and finances on it .
            I would request you to please help me in this case and punish Lenovo with a huge penalty so that they learn a lesson from it. Many of my other friends are also experiencing the same problem .

            WEB CAM — NOT SERVICE PROVIDER IN WARRANTY TIME AND NOW

            I purchased a digital camera in 2009 in one year warranty (cost of rupees 5000/- ) from wespro company after wathing T.V adevertisement. the company deleare its manifesto that if costomer not setisfied with the product he can returen the product and get his mony back in fifteen to thery days. my camera did not work properly and he did not on . I have complaint within time and go to service station provided by the company in zirakpur punjab.

            Lenovo — regarding warranty update

            I bought a lenovo laptop on 1.12.2010.i got keyboard problem and in the company service centre they are saying i m out of warranty period they told to mail the bill and i did it stil they are asking for further documents like dealer invoice whch i dont know wht it mean.i think by the time they update my warranty my warranty period will be finished

              I have a Desktop of Lenovo brand and using last from two years approx but within this duration the CPU has created the problems 4 – 5 times in mother board and all the times the problem rectified by your authorized service provider M/s PC Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
              12, Sant Nagar, New Delhi-110065.
              Now again the CPU is not working last from 15 days and I have complaint vide Complaint No. P4TSJ2 dtd. 13th April and my machine is lying with M/s PC Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Last from 15 days approx and this time M/s PC solution is making another story, that they have told that the Motherboard has been changed from my machine while the same board was working and also fitted by M/s PC Solutions.
              I had talked to Mr. Shekhar, Mr. Rajiv and Ms. Asha from servicing department of M/s PC Solutions regarding my problem but nobody is ready to solve the issue at all.

              Can I expect this type of response/satisfaction label with the world class famous company specially in quality and response / satisfaction ?

              Therefore you are requested to kindly solve the problem as soon as possible.

I HAVE A PROBLEM ON MY LAPTOP FOR BETTERY AND KEY BOARD, THEREFORE, I DISCUSSED WITH ALSUN SYSTEM, THEY SAYS ME THAT I SEND THE LAPTOP TO THEM. BECAUSE MY LAPTOP IS IN UNDER WARRENTY.

                AS PER DISCUSSION I SEND MY LAPTOP TO ALSUN SYSTEMS ON 13/04/2010. THEY ASSURE ME THAT THEY WILL CHANGE THE BATTERY AND KEY BOARD. AND RETURN ME MY LAPTOP ON VERY NEXT DAY, (THIS IS ALL VERBAL COMMUNICATION), AND THEY GIVE ME AN TOKEN FOR RECEIPT OF LAPTOP.

                THE RECEIPT NUMBER IS 3236.

                BUT AFTER SEVERAL TELEPHONICALLY TALK WITH MR. TARUN (AN EMPLOYEE OF ALSUN SYSTEM). THEY NEVER RETURN MY LAPTOP OR ANY SATISFACTORY REPLY.

                PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS.

                  I was having some issue with my laptop(S/N: EB[protected] and I raised a case with the lenovo support on 30th March 2010(Case Id: L03U00J2). I gave my laptop for repairing to the Hitech Informatics Pvt Ltd. center at Hyderabad on 31-March 2010.

                  They mentioned it will take 3 working days to repair it but till now I have not received my machine. I have called the Hitech Informatics center many times starting from 7- April-2010, they said they have received a wrong part and ordered for the correct part and not received the parts from Lenovo thats why they can't repair it.

                  I called the lenovo support team again on the[protected] to raise this issue to the lenovo, they said I have called to the Banglaore division and they can't help me to resolve this issue and I have to call to the Delhi Support team. They provided two numbers to call that division. [protected] and [protected].

                  Whenever I tried to call the toll free number ([protected]) it always says the line is busy and not able to connect at this moments. After so many tries on the other number ([protected]) I got connected to the support team but again have to wait for 40 minutes to connect to the support person.

                  The support person then said they are facing some issue with their systems and cannot fetch any of the details now so they took my mobile number and said they will contact me once it is ready. Till now I haven't received any calls from that team.

                  After that I could never connected to the [protected] or the [protected] numbers. I tried calling the[protected] number and they keep on saying they can't help me on this issue because the case id is generated from some other location.

                  As a customer perspective I am calling to a toll free number and it is nowhere mentioned that i am calling to a Bangalore or Delhi so I don't have to know whether I am calling to Bangalore or Delhi.

                  Now it already passed 21 days and i am still waitng for my laptop get repaired. Can anyone help me.

                    For which we had made a demand draft of Rs1499 in the favour of OFFBIT Marketing Services on 28/2/09. Payble at service branch,kolkata.As it was said we handed over the draft and recquired documents to suppllier NS computer for onward dispatch.
                    We were asked to wait for a month for the gift.then when we called back he says you will get it in 15 days.and this continued till last month.then we asked for the draft to be returned.

                    The OS windows vista home premium that was being instaled in my computer was a pirated one.once while I was doing some work in the net it disabled my OS and says there is problem in the activation key.
                    If this is the service provided by your company for your products then I feel sorry for myself to opt for the product and will try and if possible will inform my friends and relatives not to buy this product.and this is one of the main reason why also we didn’t obtain for renwal of warranty.

                      The wi fi system of my lenovo laptop 3000 G 430 is not working .There is no proper customer care numbers available,more ever the numbers which are available are not responding.This is indeed a very poor service from lenovo.I think I have made a mistake in selecting this product.though my lapi is under warranty period the company after reading my complaint should itself make a call on my numbers otherwise it is just like bhaji market.
                      I agree there service in 2010 has degraded to a great extend... All toll free numbers are not responding ...Its a shame...

I have submitted my laptop to the service center on 16th August but they are not giving any response, when I can get my net book.                             In not more than 6 months my Keypad button is not working, And adapter is also not working .I got it replaced from the new Delhi service centre

                            It again got down in 2 months and i again registered a complaint against case id-L03F00MD.



                            My warranty is ending on 28th December 2010 and i am thinking what will happen once warranty is over.

                            Because I cant invest more on the keypad& adapter now...

                            Kindly calculate the cost i will insure if this the trend with the keypad .

                            One more issue I have with your Service Center is that the guys who are giving service there are even not technical sound they even do not know the meaning of Why " Dolby digital " is written on the laptop.

                            Now what I demand Is the warranty extension without any cost for my keypad.

He called me there and have a detailed search and told me that this is not a major problem and it will be resolved easily. He gave me an address of ‘Lenova’ service centre on Law College road at Pune.

                                  3. I went to Lenova service centre two times to resolve my problem but they did not offering positive response and directed me to report another service centre of ‘Lenova’ at Swar Gate, Pune. I went to the ibid service centre, they told me that it looks like a physical damage and due to a crack on the screen a type of liquid is being spread inside on the LCD. He made my complaint to Bangalore, where I spoke to Madam Chhavi. She suggested me to refer the case with you.

                                  4. As per the best of my knowledge, the ibid laptop is being operated by me only and nobody is allowed to operate the laptop and it is kept in my safe custody. Thus the problem created in laptop, due to physical force is not agreed to and does not serve for the purpose. It may be at the time of purchase, which was not observed by me due to being a minor problem.

                                  5. Keeping in view of the above, may I request you to look into the matter personally and issue necessary instructions to your staff for necessary repair/replacement of the laptop, which is under warranty period to avoid any loss to me. It is also requested that your official address may please be communicated to me through my e-mail ID No to make the facilities good service from you at the time of need.

                                        I had purchased a lenovo laptop under 3yrs warranty from Mac It solution. After using 1year there has been short serkit in the mother board. when i lodge the complaint I came to know from the customer care of lenovo that according to their data the product warranty is of only 1yr so charges will be applied to repair. To clarify this I sended them the invoice in which it is clearly mention- 3yrs warranty by lenovo but they are trying to avoid. It proves that its either distributors fault or the companys fault.
