I bought my laptop from india and came to uk for my higher studies.Now my wireless lan is not working.I reebooted the system and now the operating system windows vista is lost and i have given no cd contaning the vista but have all the drivers for it.what should i do.There is no service centre in uk.How could i make it work.

    I purchased a laptop G430 4152 on 11/07/09 from Digitech systems Jammu.
    The lap top is generating a lot of heat, it is not possible to place it on the lap . When it is placed on table, so much heat is produced that lap top, back of TFT, as well as the table gets heated up.I alredy booked a complaint through mail two days back, but there is no response from your or from any rep of company.       I am Nabarun Patra from Bankura (W.B). I went to Ulex Computer service centre regarding my laptop problem on 17/06/09. The problem was display LCD cord problem &DVD writer problem. After service the performence of laptop was right. But from yesterday I found a new problem in my laptop display. The problem is blinking of display.

        I purchased a lenovo Laptap model no Eb10473260/4152ACQR3cXWY on 11/07/09. The heat dissipation is tremendous. The whole lap tap gets heated up.I am not able to operate it while travelling br car as it is to be placed in lap while travelling. I request to replace it by the higher model . The extra amount I am ready to pay . I remain under apprehension that it may burst due to heat generated by it and may prove fatal for me and the family members.
        Hope my request will be given priority and willhear soon somthing positive from the company end

        yes it is true that a lot of heat is generated... there can be a remedy by using laptop pads for keeping the laptops on lap... i-ball makes that.
        some noice are create playing any cd and dvd

          few days ago i delete my all partitions and then i rebuilt my hdsk partitons and install windows xp in one patition and windows 7 in other now im unable to use them when i start my computer i have message on black boot screen that BOOTMANAGER not found, please press alt, ctrl and delete.when i do this nothing happened.and again message is bootmanager not found press...

            I had purchase lenovo 3000Y MODEL 775844Q AND SR NO. ME 16556 laptop .as per company march mania 2008 offer they give free tata sky connection as per his demand I had send Gift Redemption Code 05C0A142669B with draft of Rs 750/- but till date gift is not deliver to me.its going to be more than a year.my all procedure was correct and i have send all the required documents and demand draft of Rs.750/- and i also got confirmation letter from company office that they are sending the gift within 4-6 week.but till now they have not deliver my gift to me. kindly do neadfull as soon as posible.

              Hi,

              I am Jignesh Kotech. I had purchased one lenovo laptop from Singapore on 21/10/2008. My lenovo laptop S/N is EB09364571. Recently, this laptop's battery stopped working due to some problem. I had raised one complaint in INDIA with case ID L96T00FQ. Still, I am not getting positive response from service center situated in Rajkot India. When contacted they told me they are not getting any updates from Company. That's why they are unable to give replacement of battery. More over when I contacted the lenovo call center at their toll free number i.e.[protected]. They said you contact our technical department on Mr.D.L Sujai [protected]. When i call him he replies that as they are not having battery stock for this model in india. Laptop is having international warranty. They didn't answer back.

              Now my stand is what's the use of international warranty if they are refusing to provide me service for my laptop in India on time.

              I have all the receipts with me except International warranty card as company don't give any card as they track the warranty by laptop serial no. I don't know whom to contact but I am sure if you people take up my request forward I surely get positive response from them. Please find the below details of Laptop

                On 27/10/2008 i purchased this lenovo desktop of model no. MT-M 5312-2LQ & serial no. MB25242. That time there was an offer from lenovo to choose two options out of seven given options... we chose a printer & 2 years extended warranty. We were told to register it from net we did that also then we were asked to send some documents to noida we send that also through courier but there after we didn't get any response... after some months there was call from banglore stating that our 2 years extended warranty has been accepted but we did not get any documents regarding that for proof... and for printer we are empty handed till date. It is very embarrasing for us saying it is very poor kind of customer service

                Lenovo — regarding gifts...

                on 27/10/2008 i purchased a lenovo pc of serial no. MB25242 & model no. 53122LQ. That time there was an offer from lenovo to chose two options out of seven given options so i chose a two year extended warranty and a printer. I was told to register my gifts from internet i did that also thereafter i was asked to send some documents to Noida i send that through courier afterward there is not any reply and till date i am emptyhanded. it is very embarrasing for me to say that it is a very poor kind of service... If there is not any delay from me in submiting the required documents then why it is from your side?????? I wish you all could take actions on this problem and help me out... from the last five to six months i am calling to service centres... registring complaints but there is no any feedback so help me regarding this problem early ...

                  I have bought a lenovo 32Q model in Jan 29 from e roaDs technology and hdpaid Rs.24700 by cheque No. 408331(HDFC) on 31stJan, 2009 . i have not got any accessory with it nor the original Xp.or any document and the no shown in the paper doesn't match. i am an old lady and i didn't realise people cheat. can u help me to know the problem and also if it can be upgraded as there is no speed and i haven't used it since it came to me. thanks. god bless.

                    Sir,
                    I bought a Lenovo 5312-2no desktop with Sr No L900247 on 7th March 2009.
                    Request for UPS was registered with Lenovo as per Registration Code REDMO[protected].
                    The required Documents were also sent by First Flight Courier service on 24th of March 2009 with 499 Rs/- Demand Draft.

                    I have send several mails to [protected]@offbitmktg.com, there is no reply about the status of the UPS. At last they gave mobile number of Mr.Nagaraja, Telephonic Complaints were also made. As per Mr.Nagaraja request i send mail to [protected]@asiapowercom.com on 23rd june 2009 but no reply on this. Pls help on this.

                    lenovo desk top — Non Supply of UPS as per commitments

                    Dear Sir,

                    I bought a Lenovo 53131cq desktop with Sr No MB12736 on 30 Dec 2008..

                    Request for Printer & UPS was registered with Lenovo as per Registration Code RED[protected].

                    The required Documents were also sent by Speed post which was acknowledged & printer was sent but UPS has not been supplied till date..

                    I took up the case with channel Partner at the mail address [protected]@channel-technologies.com, [protected]@channel-technologies.com, [protected]@channel-technologies.com, [protected]@in.ibm.com,
                    [protected]@channel-technologies.com.

                    Further case was also taken up with [protected]@asiapowercom.com. But I have not received the UPS..
                    Telephonic Complaints were also made but there is nobody to help in Lenovo,

                      I have purchased lenove laptop 7757-88Q, S NO.MAA64TP, but I have not provided the window vista basic recovery CD, where as my friend who has purchased some months ago provided this CD along with other CDs. I have contacted the dealer and he says that it has already there in you computer, you need to press the NOVO button to restore the intial company setting.

                        lenovo y500 is the worst series started..
                        lenovo provides cd/dvd rom with that notepad which has no life...
                        i already repair that 2 times in warenty period and it get useless..
                        even the customer service provider tells that there is no way we can protect our cd/dvd drive from being uselss..

                        i know many friends suffering from same problem...
                        there is no proper solution for this provided by them the change the drive and it again get useless

                        and touch they provide is worst from all other in comparision technically...

                          Sir, I have purchased above said product on date 05.05.09. And only after One month Display Card of Laptop get damaged without any reason. I went to service center and concern over there told me that Display card needs to replace & it will be replaced freely. I kept my Laptop there for 4 days but nothing had done. Now today again they called me for replacement of display card. It seems as if your company has not assured quality product. So I request u to replace my whole machine i.e, Laptop. Otherwise I need to file petition against ur company in consumer forum unwillfully.

                            I bought Lenovo Lap some 7 months back and now im in the warranty period.. i have faced 4 times problem in DVD-ROM and 2 times in Battery...I would kindly request you to change the whole Lap some how... I just bought it only for the brand name but everything is in sane and i would request my friends to try for some other brands and i would like you to take some initiative in my case

                                  I am student of JAIPURIA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT and college has provided us lenovo laptops after 8 months the battery backup of my laptop was getting pathetic and even after several complains to the service center there is no action taken by the service center.This pathetic after sale service has given a very bad impact on the image of your company which will never let us to use any further lenovo products.If you want to not happen this then please take some action against it and this problem not only persist with me it also persist with other students of the institute.

                                    I am also using Lenovo Y510 laptop and facing the same problem. CD Drive does not read anyhing and shows blank. As I faced this problem earlier aswell so at that time i get CD Drive changed from Lenovo Service Centre in Nehru Place and now its agin creating problem. It shows blank and says insert disk even if the disk is in the drive.

                                    Hi,

                                    I am also a Y510 user and is really fed up with the CD drive. It causes a lot of trouble in reading CD's and shows the annoying "no disk error" very often. Moreover the service centre of Lenovo is hard to find.


                                    repenting for going for a Lenovo.

                                      I bought a lenovo Y430 in june n i was told that i will get Blackberry phone if i pay Rs 3999/- so i made a draft for the said amount n sent it to offbit marketing, Kolkata . On 31st July i recd a confirmation saying that they have recd my draft and my gift was confirmed and will soon start the shipment...but its 1st of september today n till now i have not recd my gift. kindly assist.
