Dear Customer support,

We have complaint the above case id by 22nd - Till now, no info.

When we check with service person, they are confirming that still spare not recd - This is really annoying.

When a spare cannot be delivered then why lenova is selling the product - Pls make sure that this is taken care immediately.

Have spoken to all concerns - nothing is happening.

Awaiting yours date & time at the earliest delivery.

    I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad S10 laptop on 29th july 2009 from M/s Itantra, New Kantharaj urs rd mysore. The laptop is ok.but the manual does not give any detail about the battery operating time, standby time etc.I have been trying to contact their toll free no[protected] for a month now.that number and the other delhi number are always engaged.I am alarmed seeing the number of complaints on Lenovo laptops.what is the use of giving a toll free no which cannot be accessed?has anyone with lenovo laptops have experienced similar problems?

    Lenovo Ideapad — No response.

    I have registered compliant to the lenovo customer care one the 21st of November,
    and have kept calling them for everyday till today but they have not responded to my calls.
    i am left with my laptop in a very bad condition since then please take the required steps against them .
    I have been ringing their "sales" team in ireland for 3 days and have left 4 messages with no reply. The calls have cost me around 30euro in total and 5-6 working hours. This is the worst customer experience I have ever encountered from any company. The swithboard operator could barely grasp what i was asking her and was of no help whatsoever. Awful awful service, avoid like the plague.

      Hello sir,
      Iam ashok from marthandam in kanyakumari district(india),i bought a Lenovo desktop (family name “IDEACENTER”),on 10/10/2008,my problem is they wont give me the license for dos also they removed the windows key label behind the cpu,On that day[protected] they installed windows xp(cracked version)dos in my system,i was not aware of this things at those days,when i updated the xp last month it blocked my windows access and shows message ”dos is not genuine and update your license” ,then i came to know that it is a cracked version xp by one of my frined(computer science engineer)
      I give complaint to my dealer regarding the problem but they are not giving any responsible answer ...... also there interaction is not good with the customers and said you have to pay 6000rs for the license key.... no labours came yet for service too.......

      My request is please provide me the license key for the desktop of below details, also ask the dealer to interact properly and ask them to pay penalty to company,for damaging your company reputation.

          I am having a Lenovo desktop in which a problem occurs in August that it hangs when i am working on it continuously nearly for an hour or so. then i have to restart it again. After discussing a lot with Lenovo customer care department they told me to completely formatted my PC & then reinstall the OS. After doing so on 3rd of Sep 2009 my issue regarding hanging will not resolve. So on 7th Sep. 2009 i register a complaint regarding this problem & got the complaint no. L997006D. On very next day Lenovo service engineer took my PC to Lenovo service center & kept it there for next 5days. & then return me back & told me that they give the indent for the MOTHERBOARD on 13th Sep. 2009. & it will be changed by 16th Sep. 2009 or max. up to 18th Sep 2009. But till 23rd Sep. 2009 i am not able to get any satisfactory answer from Lenovo service center every time i call them. Then decided to visit Lenovo Service center on 23rd Sep. 2009. Then they assured me it will be changed by 24th Sep. 2009 as Lenovo is not able to provide them the new part. Still the part is changed on 25th Sep. 2009. & Motherboard give to me is Old as well as Faulty. So i request Lenovo to return my Motherboard if Lenovo is not able to provide me a new motherboard. today is 1st Oct. 2009 (nearly 25 days) they are not providing me my motherboard or new motherboard. It causes me a lots of problem & i have to go to Cybercafe to do my work.. Please help me...

                This is vide my Reference code number REDA [protected] for the Lenovo product which i purchased on 4 th May , 2009. As per their instruction, I have already sent all the required documents(as mentioned below) by registry post for availing the free gifts. Kindly note that i had sent the documents in may itself.But i have not yet received any of these gifts .

                Sir, Inspite of several mails, i have no status about my free gift , Antivirus and 3900 Rs. D. D. in the name of Offbit Marketing. Kindly look into the matter. If atall I am not answered regarding the above

                  i purchased a laptop of lenovo with this there was a offer of k 7 antivirus software free with this so for this it has to be register with lenovo site so i did the same and registered myself with the site and i got confirmation mail that u will be getting ur copy of k7 antivirus software within 15 days but its almost 2 months passed away nothing has been recd. as i complaint to k7 antivirus but they said u will be surely getting ur copy of antivirus the next day as we wiil send u license key to ur mail so i checked the mail very next day and the result was same, as there was no such mail from k7 antivirus company also, so can u help me get rid of the situation,for this i shall be very thankful to you

                      Sir, I have purchaged a lenovo laptop 8BQ - Y410-3000 Series bearing Serieal No.EB08646195 on 16 July, 2008 from Computer N Netsolutions,1st floor,D-163,Savitri Path,Bapu Nagar,Jaipur - Phone No.[protected].At the time of delivery he gave me a packed box without checking to me and saying that all the accessories come with this laptop are in that box.When i opened the box at my home i saw that there was no Driver & Software CD in that box.After that i visited the dealers showroom and asked for the drivers CD.The dealer didn't give any Driver and Software CD to me.I required the said driver CD b'coz after trying many times i could not installed the drivers from any means.so i kindly request you to ask the dealer or any other way to deliver the original Drivers CD to me.I again request you with this hope that right and prompt action will be taken.

                        I AM A REGULAR VICTIM OF LENOVO FAULTS -
                        HARDISK FAILURE IN JUST 16 MONTHS.
                        MY LAPTOP HAS DOLBY SPEAKERS BUT I CANT HEAR SOUND EVEN WHEN I AM SITTING BESIDE IT.
                        MY TOUCHPAD IS TOO HARD TO MOVE.

                          I bought a Lenovo Y510 series laptop from Croma store on 3rd August 2008. I had also purchased an extended warranty of 2 years along with it. The extended warranty details were included in my invoice and I was not given any further information/document to subtantiate the purchase of extended warranty.

                          On 25th Aug 2009, I faced a problem in opening the laptop. It was a problem of the hinges and there was a gap when I tried to open the flap. I called Lenovo service centre and they informed me that the merchant (Croma) did not send any details of the extended warranty, hence they will be unable to assist. I then called Croma and they directed me to an 'extended service warranty' toll free number. On calling them, they asked us to walk into a Lenovo Service Centre where it would be repaired. I did as told and reached the centre at Law College Road (very far from where I stay). There, I was informed that they will not be able to help as they did not have any record of the extended warranty. I then went back to Croma where they said they'll contact the extended warranty helpdesk (which was closed on Sunday) tomorrow and then revert. In the meanwhile, they asked us to try the extended warranty helpdesk number again and lodge a complaint with them.

                          I called them yet again and one resource named Himanshu Udeshi was extremely rude to me and refused to log a complaint saying that this will not be covered under extended warranty. Now I am helpless and dont know whom to go to for help. I have been running from pillar to post for getting my laptop repaired. This despite having had the foresight to purchase extended warranty from the vendor. I am very dissapointed with the kind of customer service Croma is offering and vow never to purchase any product from them going ahead.

                          lenovo/lenovo Y510 laptop — my laptop warranty is not upgraded

                          hi my name is Shashi, s, latti from manglore.I bought a new lenovo Y510 (49, 760 Rs) Laptop on 2, jun, 2008( last year ) from MANHARS in manglore. when i was purchasing laptop there was offer on it. As per the offer the warranty has to be upgraded 1 year to 3 years and a puma kit. when i try to register my laptop by online i got one error that the product has been already registered. then i informed this error to MANHARS. they also tried but got the same result.i requesed so many time to MANHARS as well as lenovo care center but i did not get any response from ther side.

                          After waiting for a week when I didn't receive their call, I called
                          up the service center to which they said that the document and redamation code had not
                          recieved and once again i sent to the channel technology.After 3 weeks i got one call from care supporty and he said that they are going to upgrade laptop warranty soon...now laptop warranty has exspire. when i ask about this to the channel technology they said that they had not recieved my documents and sorry we can not upgrade warranty and provide you puma kit.

                          so please help in this matter

                          Lenovo Y510 — cd ROM not working

                          Hi,

                          I have lenovo Y510 laptop bought last year. Earlier my CD ROM was working properly but now its not working its not picking up the CD please help.

                          I had the same problem but made the mistake thinking it was my kids that did it. I should have read these posts sooner. I bought mine in Jun08 and it broke Apr09. What I did was cut the one hinge that was broke again thinking my kids did it. That was ok for awhile but now the other hinge broke (about 4 months later). Anyhow needless to say I'm not supporting or buying another Lenovo product as well TigerDirect whom I bought it from basically said tough luck. So they are off my list of places to shop.

                          I wish to rebring in your kind notice that I am not satisfied with services of lenove services.

                          I purchased my laptop(Y 510 52q, S.n. abq0026300) at feb 2008. During my default warranty period i.e. 1 year, services of lenevo service centers were quite satisfactory. After I extended my warranty period purchasing care pack. From that very time till now I am not satisfied with services of lenevo. I have logged my calls many times and reported at scheduled time & place, but still non of engineer is able to fix my problem and satisfy me up to the mark. I had a word with Mr. Steve Culhane also. He assured me fix my problem ASAP. But a week has already passed, my problem is not sorted out. My laptop is getting deteriorated day by day, because unsealing & sealing of machinery many times. I am not able to work with it now. Every day almost Rs.[protected] occurs in my business daily due to my damaged laptop. Only Lenovo is responsible for the same. Neither of part of my machinery is working properly.

                          Mr. Sudeep Saxena & Jatinder Nagar are also giving me plateau. They are also not ready to listen or sort out my problem. Now I need direct response from company in clear words if Company will do something against my complaint or it is not able to do same.

At that time also i got my warranty extension pack after one month approx as i had applied for the warranty extension pack approximately one month ago.And now after approximately six months they are telling me that my warranty extension pack is not registered though i had taken already two -three services on this pack.And they told me to reproduce me my invoice copy of warranty extension pack and certificate regarding the pack.I have sent the documents atleast 20 times at their gievn mail id i.e. [protected]@lenovowarranty.co.in and also [protected]@lenovowarranty.co.in and everytime they tell me that did not recieved the mail.And i am unable to register my laptop complaint now even after purchasing the warranty extension pack .All the employees in the lenovo customer care are just keep me telling to call here and there and i found no solution from their side.They are just keep me waiting and doing nothing from their side.I am tired now that even after purchasing my warranty pack i am unable to use it i don't know for what reason????????/

                          i bought a lenovo laptop 11 months ago. Now there is a noise in the opening of flap. And when i went to the lenovo service center in nehru place they told me that the parts are out of stock because this problem persists in almost
                          every laptop of y 510 series

                          I bought this Lenovo Y510 in July 2008 and it has been off my desk less than a dozen times. I noticed that the hinge was binding and opening the case each time I opened the screen. I agree that it must be a problem with the design. as I'm off warranty the cost to replace the hinge is over $250 with shipping. Thanks but if it's a defect in the design please admit it and replace the thing for free. Tiger direct would replace the hinge with a used one for $170 but come on. Lenovo is not responding.

                            Dear SIr,

                            I have purchased a lenovo laptop. The ODD (DVD drive) was not working right from the delievery. As I am not familiar with the laptop working, after some time, when I tried to play a DVD on it, it was not working and the laptop was throwing the DVD out.

                            I showed it to the Delear "Croma - HImalaya Mall, Ahmedabad", they said that the warranty period is still "on" and gave me an address lenovo Silver touch Pvt Ltd, Abad. I regestered the complain and handed over the lenovo to them on 19.08.2009. They asked me to inquire after 3-4 days.

                            Today, as a week is already passed, they are saying that the parts are not available, pl wait for 2-3 days more. I am now getting worried. When they will repair and return to me? I dont know.

                            I had purchased it only on the basis of the brand name" lenovo" and I was planning to buy 9-10 lenovo for my Office Colleagues. But now I can not afford it, as even a new lenovo can not play my DVD.

                                      I have purchased a Lenovo Laptop Model No. 25Q Srl.No. EB09344380 on 05.10.2008. Due to non working of Laptop LCD CD Drive, I have contacted Lenovo's Delhi Hd. Office they have advised me to contact Khargpur Service Center along with Service No. L97F005E. Accordingly I approached to KGP service centre, After checking at service centre the service engineer had told me that, I have conveyed this message to Delhi Hq.regarding replacement of LCD. After receipt of the same from Delhi the LCD will be replaced. Now already one month has been passed but my Laptop has not been repaired till date. Early action in this regard is highly solicited.

                                        I am using lenovo laptop Y500. It is unable to read CDs or DVDs properly. It ask me to format that disc, which is already has data. Also it shows that cd is empty. Also I cannot write DVD. my blank DVD got corrupted at the end. Powerlink software has max 8x speed. Is this a problem. Can anybosy provide me the solution. I am very unhappy with this.

                                        Hi. I am sowmya. Lecturer in Jain Engineering College. Form past 1 month i am not able to write into CD/DVD in Lenovo Y500 Laptop. If i insert the CD/DVD with data, it is reading. But if i put empty CD/DVD to write, it will show formatiing then pop ups a message "Formatting failed". What would be the problem?
