Hi,
Sir, I have purchaged a lenovo laptop 8BQ - Y410-3000 Series bearing Serieal No.EB08646195 on 16 July, 2008 from Computer N Netsolutions,1st floor,D-163,Savitri Path,Bapu Nagar,Jaipur - Phone No.[protected].At the time of delivery he gave me a packed box without checking to me and saying that all the accessories come with this laptop are in that box.When i opened the box at my home i saw that there was no Driver & Software CD in that box.After that i visited the dealers showroom and asked for the drivers CD.The dealer didn't give any Driver and Software CD to me.I required the said driver CD b'coz after trying many times i could not installed the drivers from any means.so i kindly request you to ask the dealer or any other way to deliver the original Drivers CD to me.I again request you with this hope that right and prompt action will be taken.

respected sir,
i have a problem reguarding to my Lenova 3000 Y410 model, the problem occur in my camera it is 1.3 mp now it is not properly working, i have a diver cd i can install that the software was installed successfully but when i start the camera the message comes on screen that "Camera initialization Failed" so cant understand what i have to do. so please help me

    I AM A REGULAR VICTIM OF LENOVO FAULTS -
    HARDISK FAILURE IN JUST 16 MONTHS.
    MY LAPTOP HAS DOLBY SPEAKERS BUT I CANT HEAR SOUND EVEN WHEN I AM SITTING BESIDE IT.
    MY TOUCHPAD IS TOO HARD TO MOVE.
    MY WARRANTY IS NOT GETTING EXTENDED OF WHAT REASONS I DONT KNOW.
    I DONT HAVE A CLUE WHAT SHOULD I DO WTH MY LAPTOP.I HAVE VISITED SERVICE CENTRE MORE THAN THE MONTHS I HAVE USED IT.
    I WANT TO GET THIS LENOVO LAPTOP EXCHANGED ANY HOW.

      I bought a Lenovo Y510 series laptop from Croma store on 3rd August 2008. I had also purchased an extended warranty of 2 years along with it. The extended warranty details were included in my invoice and I was not given any further information/document to subtantiate the purchase of extended warranty.

      On 25th Aug 2009, I faced a problem in opening the laptop. It was a problem of the hinges and there was a gap when I tried to open the flap. I called Lenovo service centre and they informed me that the merchant (Croma) did not send any details of the extended warranty, hence they will be unable to assist. I then called Croma and they directed me to an 'extended service warranty' toll free number. On calling them, they asked us to walk into a Lenovo Service Centre where it would be repaired. I did as told and reached the centre at Law College Road (very far from where I stay). There, I was informed that they will not be able to help as they did not have any record of the extended warranty. I then went back to Croma where they said they'll contact the extended warranty helpdesk (which was closed on Sunday) tomorrow and then revert. In the meanwhile, they asked us to try the extended warranty helpdesk number again and lodge a complaint with them.

      I called them yet again and one resource named Himanshu Udeshi was extremely rude to me and refused to log a complaint saying that this will not be covered under extended warranty. Now I am helpless and dont know whom to go to for help. I have been running from pillar to post for getting my laptop repaired. This despite having had the foresight to purchase extended warranty from the vendor. I am very dissapointed with the kind of customer service Croma is offering and vow never to purchase any product from them going ahead.

      lenovo y510 notebook — cd rom is not responting

      i have a model y510.And due to some cause the lower hinge had broken.And i could find the parts anywhere even in service centre, internet and also ask for toll free number.plz give the suggestion where could i get the parts. my laptop is in warranty.

      lenovo/lenovo Y510 laptop — my laptop warranty is not upgraded

      hi my name is Shashi, s, latti from manglore.I bought a new lenovo Y510 (49, 760 Rs) Laptop on 2, jun, 2008( last year ) from MANHARS in manglore. when i was purchasing laptop there was offer on it. As per the offer the warranty has to be upgraded 1 year to 3 years and a puma kit. when i try to register my laptop by online i got one error that the product has been already registered. then i informed this error to MANHARS. they also tried but got the same result.i requesed so many time to MANHARS as well as lenovo care center but i did not get any response from ther side.

      After waiting for a week when I didn't receive their call, I called
      up the service center to which they said that the document and redamation code had not
      recieved and once again i sent to the channel technology.After 3 weeks i got one call from care supporty and he said that they are going to upgrade laptop warranty soon...now laptop warranty has exspire. when i ask about this to the channel technology they said that they had not recieved my documents and sorry we can not upgrade warranty and provide you puma kit.

      so please help in this matter

      I have purchased ideapad y510 laptop in march 2008. I have received a telephone call by[protected]
      from delhi on date[protected] offering extended warranty of laptop.Vandana ji have discussed me on phone about extended warranty.As per suggestion i"ve sent 4500/- vide cheque no. 195617 from a/c no [protected] (in SBI golghar branch gorakhpur ) .The cheque was in favour of "R.T.outsourcing services Ltd." a/c no[protected].The cheque was deposited in ICICI BANK GORAKHPUR BR. The cheque no 195617 has been debited to my a/c on[protected].The s/n of my laptop is ABQ0025916.Now I am sorry to say that till now I have not got the so called extended warranty.What type of cheating is this ? pl take necessory action about this &inform me.

      Lenovo Y510 — cd ROM not working

      Hi,

      I have lenovo Y510 laptop bought last year. Earlier my CD ROM was working properly but now its not working its not picking up the CD please help.

      I had the same problem but made the mistake thinking it was my kids that did it. I should have read these posts sooner. I bought mine in Jun08 and it broke Apr09. What I did was cut the one hinge that was broke again thinking my kids did it. That was ok for awhile but now the other hinge broke (about 4 months later). Anyhow needless to say I'm not supporting or buying another Lenovo product as well TigerDirect whom I bought it from basically said tough luck. So they are off my list of places to shop.

      Dear Sir/Mam,
      I wish to rebring in your kind notice that I am not satisfied with services of lenove services.

      I purchased my laptop(Y 510 52q, S.n. abq0026300) at feb 2008. During my default warranty period i.e. 1 year, services of lenevo service centers were quite satisfactory. After I extended my warranty period purchasing care pack. From that very time till now I am not satisfied with services of lenevo. I have logged my calls many times and reported at scheduled time & place, but still non of engineer is able to fix my problem and satisfy me up to the mark. I had a word with Mr. Steve Culhane also. He assured me fix my problem ASAP. But a week has already passed, my problem is not sorted out. My laptop is getting deteriorated day by day, because unsealing & sealing of machinery many times. I am not able to work with it now. Every day almost Rs.[protected] occurs in my business daily due to my damaged laptop. Only Lenovo is responsible for the same. Neither of part of my machinery is working properly.

      Mr. Sudeep Saxena & Jatinder Nagar are also giving me plateau. They are also not ready to listen or sort out my problem. Now I need direct response from company in clear words if Company will do something against my complaint or it is not able to do same.

      lenovo notebook,Y510 — regarding my warranty extension

      I have taken my warranty in the month of april,2009. At that time also i got my warranty extension pack after one month approx as i had applied for the warranty extension pack approximately one month ago.And now after approximately six months they are telling me that my warranty extension pack is not registered though i had taken already two -three services on this pack.And they told me to reproduce me my invoice copy of warranty extension pack and certificate regarding the pack.I have sent the documents atleast 20 times at their gievn mail id i.e. [protected]@lenovowarranty.co.in and also [protected]@lenovowarranty.co.in and everytime they tell me that did not recieved the mail.And i am unable to register my laptop complaint now even after purchasing the warranty extension pack .All the employees in the lenovo customer care are just keep me telling to call here and there and i found no solution from their side.They are just keep me waiting and doing nothing from their side.I am tired now that even after purchasing my warranty pack i am unable to use it i don't know for what reason????????/

      i bought a lenovo laptop 11 months ago. Now there is a noise in the opening of flap. And when i went to the lenovo service center in nehru place they told me that the parts are out of stock because this problem persists in almost
      every laptop of y 510 series
      now what should i do ?????
      I bought this Lenovo Y510 in July 2008 and it has been off my desk less than a dozen times. I noticed that the hinge was binding and opening the case each time I opened the screen. I agree that it must be a problem with the design. as I'm off warranty the cost to replace the hinge is over $250 with shipping. Thanks but if it's a defect in the design please admit it and replace the thing for free. Tiger direct would replace the hinge with a used one for $170 but come on. Lenovo is not responding.

        Dear SIr,

        I have purchased a lenovo laptop. The ODD (DVD drive) was not working right from the delievery. As I am not familiar with the laptop working, after some time, when I tried to play a DVD on it, it was not working and the laptop was throwing the DVD out.

        I showed it to the Delear "Croma - HImalaya Mall, Ahmedabad", they said that the warranty period is still "on" and gave me an address lenovo Silver touch Pvt Ltd, Abad. I regestered the complain and handed over the lenovo to them on 19.08.2009. They asked me to inquire after 3-4 days.

        Today, as a week is already passed, they are saying that the parts are not available, pl wait for 2-3 days more. I am now getting worried. When they will repair and return to me? I dont know.

        I had purchased it only on the basis of the brand name" lenovo" and I was planning to buy 9-10 lenovo for my Office Colleagues. But now I can not afford it, as even a new lenovo can not play my DVD.

          poor customer care from lenevo i called up[protected] agent name Asif attended my call, i have given a complaint regarding my ethernet driver connection to LAN, ref id:L98i00UT, very very poor customer care from the agent he had given useless solutions about my query and he dont know what to respond after putting me hold for more than half an hour he asked my personal mobile number so that he refer someone and give me solutions on my query, till now he has failed to answer me.pls do necessary action and sort out the issues because we choose lenevo for its brand and customer care, pls do appoint suitable persons in business to avoid issues and spoil the company name.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I have purchased a Lenovo Laptop Model No. 25Q Srl.No. EB09344380 on 05.10.2008. Due to non working of Laptop LCD CD Drive, I have contacted Lenovo's Delhi Hd. Office they have advised me to contact Khargpur Service Center along with Service No. L97F005E. Accordingly I approached to KGP service centre, After checking at service centre the service engineer had told me that, I have conveyed this message to Delhi Hq.regarding replacement of LCD. After receipt of the same from Delhi the LCD will be replaced. Now already one month has been passed but my Laptop has not been repaired till date. Early action in this regard is highly solicited.

                    I am using lenovo laptop Y500. It is unable to read CDs or DVDs properly. It ask me to format that disc, which is already has data. Also it shows that cd is empty. Also I cannot write DVD. my blank DVD got corrupted at the end. Powerlink software has max 8x speed. Is this a problem. Can anybosy provide me the solution. I am very unhappy with this.

                    Hi. I am sowmya. Lecturer in Jain Engineering College. Form past 1 month i am not able to write into CD/DVD in Lenovo Y500 Laptop. If i insert the CD/DVD with data, it is reading. But if i put empty CD/DVD to write, it will show formatiing then pop ups a message "Formatting failed". What would be the problem? What is solution? can anybody send me some solution.

                      i have purchased the above product from SIMCO COMPUTERS, Agra (U.P.) on 21.06.2008. there was a scheme for three years warranty on this product.Registration for the scheme was done via email and registration code RED [protected] was given. Till now i have not received any paper regarding the extented warranty.

                        I brought a Lenovo 57Q on 31st of March'09.The problems is in my battery, the battery showing me 2.40hrs but it's comes for 1.15hrs only. regarding this I have spoken to the dealer where I was purchased (Well win Computers, jayanti Bazar, M I Road Jaipur 302 001).

                        They are asked me to go for Lenovo service center. at Lenovo service people gave me a toll free number to contact the customer care center.[protected]. But the problem is I'm not able to reach the cust.. care cont.. num. still now I haven't got the solution for my Battery problem.

                        Tel me what is a solution to solve my problem?

                          Sir, i had a problem that my DVD W/R was not working soi told ITJ retails Pvt. Ltd. at KAPURTHALA(punjab) to replace the same as they had given me the gurieny for 1year so, they sucessfully replased it in the april 2009 & gurienty period expires on 24 april 2009. but the DVD W/R as they had replased has again stop working... so i again went to the ITJ retails Pvt. Ltd. at KAPURTHALA(punjab) to tell that my DVD W/R as you have replased has stop working to talk them that what can i do know but i found the shop closed, till know for last 1month the shop has been closed...
                          Sir, i agree that my gurienty period was expired but Sir the item(DVD W/R) has to be replased again...
                          Sir i tink that the gurienty period of mine's laptop was going to end so the company replased me a bad DVD W/R to earn money again..
                          Sir i want to replace my DVD W/R .As I am a Student of BCA... SO, Sir i need all my drives of my laptop should run good to perform good at my field...

                            i have purchased lenovo y410 laptop in august 2008.After 1-2 months of purchasing i got a problem related to charging of batteries i sumitted my compaint in co. and went to service centre and they changed my motherboard.that problem was solved but after 1 week my lan ethernet card stopped working.again i submitted my complaint in co. and went to service centre and again they changed my motherboard.Two times my motherboard is replaced within 15 days.And now again after 15-20 days i m facing another problem which is related to batteries.my battery life was around 3 hours but now it is reduced to only 1 hr 45 min.Now i m totally frustrated by facing these all problems.i m a music producer in bollywood and i want my laptop every second because i do my all music projects on it and before purchasing lap. i have tried in market and i came to know that lenovo is reputated co. so i purchased lenovo but now my all investment is goin in hell.so i just want that now my laptop has been REPLACED by new laptop so that i can do my work without all these tensions.Plz tell me what to do.
                            I have had my Motherboard Replaced 7 times in an R51. When I spoke to someone from the Service Center, I asked about a Replacement, They told me if i want a replacement I should consider purchasing a new machine!
                            one the worst ime wasting site. lenovo is one of the worst company in providing smooth srvice with her product as well as with their customer dealing.

                              i hv lenovo y500 machine it has PCI-E slot graphic card that means that the graphic card is not on mother board and can be upgraded but when i called the lenovo support numbers they told my laptop is having graphic card onboard . so why do they mislead their consumers telling PCI-E SLOT DISCRETE GRAPHIC CARD, im really suffering due to this, t should be taken care of

                                My computer is restarting now and then

                                Lenovo Dealer and Lenovo service engineer tried a lot to solve the problem but in vain

                                Lenocare is not ready to replace the computer nor they are responding on phone, my computer is daead and kept in the office as dead presently since 4 months passed away

                                my income Rs : 500/- per day on DTP is heldup we want to recover both income and new PC replacement immeediately

                                My computer is under warranty period and still i am not getting replacement

                                Lenovo computers — Free gifts not available

                                sir,
                                i have purchased lenovo computer in diwali. as per festive season offer the company offers double deal gift worth about 4000/rs. as the dealer to whom i purchased the computer himself registered my name for gifts through an outsource firm to whom lenovo has authorised for gifts. i have registeredwithin the due date .the dealer told me that i will be intimated at my emal id regarding where i have to send the documents relevant to gifts. but the outsource firm neither responded. when contacted to dealer the dealer has given the phone no of outsource firm .the firm denied me for gifts saying the last date for sending the dovument is over.also they emailed me to consult lenovo. when consulted to lenovo they told as per the lenovo policy we are not responsible as we have already outsourced to channel-technologies for gifts. sir i want to know whether i can complaint in consumer form for this .pls guide me.

                                  Hi,

                                  i have an almost 3 months laptop and and its LCD has gone bad. i have got the LCD replaced . well this is what the service center people say and then i again had the same problem within 24 hours of getting my laptop fixed. i went to another service center referred to me by one of Lenovo CC reps. they have got too many of these service centers so that they can cause inconvenience to the customers i guess. I have go t my laptop back the other day from the service center and again the same problem. they say this time they reseated the motherboard and the cables. now i cant take this anymore. its just been three months old and third time in a row the same issue. the technical faculty of Lenovo just doesn't seemed to identify the problem problem and my work is getting affected big time. i need a replacement or my money. i did not spend 40, 000 INR just to check out how many service center Lenovo has got in Delhi Region.
                                  Please help.

                                    I have Bought a lenovo laptop from lenovo exclusive store situated at mithkhali six roads on 20/12/2008. After that as per scheam of the company I have fill the on line registration form for sure gift ( 1 year warranty certificate and a Phillips MP3 player ) and sent the all required documents to the Channel Technologies Noida who were looking up this matter by post.                                     Lenovo / Laptop — worst product

                                    i bought a lenovo laptop model no: 3000 G430 33q serial no : MAC1A9V on 10.1.2009 at pondicherry. From the date of purchasing i faced many problem. i took my laptop to the lenovo service center. The service engineer changed everything in my laptop like motherboard, LCD, battery, inverter,fan, processor during the warrenty period . But still there is a problem in my laptop and still the laptop in the service center. what can i do?
