I purchased my laptop Lenovo idepad S340 2 months ago and laptop has damaged speakers I called customer care they said there is no issue and will not help me even it has on site warranty. Service center from my city is 150Km away in Jaipur

      Merchant cashback not received

      I have purchased lenovo ideapad S-340 from Lenovo exclusive store( Systech IT Solution Pvt. Ltd.), using ICICI Bank credit card under no cost emi and 10% cashback discount which was told by the store manager. I haven't received merchant cashback of Rs 2595 yet still after passing more than 75 days which is even mentioned in the bill.

      Even after repeatedly calling customer care, store manager and mailing to lenovo customer care...

      Its 10 hours used laptop, touchpad was not working, windows creashed, it's too slow I think there is some hardware related issue. I am also sending the photo and video of my hardware related problems, I have given my laptop on 28september 2020
      When I went for pic-up I was shocked my laptop was having some physical damaged I told to them about, physical damaged, they sad it's just a normal scratch pls accept we cannot do anything, I refuse to take the laptop
      I will not accept this laptop anymore I want the replacement for shure
      There is a hardware related issues and physical damaged done by service center, basically I am cheated by Lenovo.

        Hello,
        I'm Sai Lohit a resident of Jamshedpur. My laptop got faulted on August 25, 2020. I complained in customer support after diagnosis they confirmed it to be a motherboard issue. They dispatched my part and assured a service by 27 August, 2020. I called the local engineer on August 28, 2020 they mentioned there is some delay and surely be done by 31 August, 2020.
        I got a part delivery mail from their end on August 30, 2020(Saturday). Monday i called the engineer whose number was mentioned in the mail they mentioned the whole process might require a day to process and assured me to be done by September 1, 2020. I called him today(September 2, 2020) the engineer is giving me statement saying part undelivered whereas i've the mail of it getting delivered and again delaying.

          Dear sir, i have lenovo ideapad s340-14api model (Laptop-sic3j704), recently a few days ago i worked till late night on this laptop and thereafter i put it back into the laptop bag, after use of at least 5-6 hours and when i saw it back after some time, then i saw that, there is 4-5 keys of laptop warmout and look like burned from inside, and before this mail i have already sent a mail to customer care and call to lenovo but they said there is no warranty of your product for such type of damage, but i also don't know how it happened? and if it occurs due to regular work on the pc then lenovo is responsible for it, we are using your products because we want good customer care facilities and many more new technologies and other good things in your product? that was my first and last product after it, i don't want to buy any product from lenovo and i also suggest everyone of my friends and relatives don't buy it, because you don't give proper solution or service to the customer then why would we buy your products? i had purchased this pc in feb 2020 and its only 6 months old and that types of problems happened in it and your customer care executives said this would not come under warranty so what type of thing comes under warranty if it doesn't? Suppose if it was blast then who was be responsible for it that time if you don't, that is an internal type of problem which may under come the customer safety and serviceable, and if t was blast during working or there is fire occur in that pc by which very big incident could be happened on that time then who is responsible for such type of problem, i require proper answer and service.                   Greetings for the day.

                  I have purchased a lenovo laptop 2days ago. (Ideapad slim 3i intel core i3 10th gen 14 inch hd thin and light laptop (4gb/1tb hdd/windows 10/platinum grey/1.6kg), 81wd00jyin). [not only me but 80% people are facing the same problem who have brought this laptop, lonovo is cheating with the customer]

                  It has a lot more problems, it takes 10-15 minutes to just get on after that battery performance is very weak, just one house and 30 minutes. It is very slow, it does not work like i3 core.
                  I brought from bajaj electronics, there the lonovo representative told me that this is the best laptop of the levnovo work very fast can be used for office and home, but when i stared using reality is totally different. I want to replace this laptop with a thinkpad laptop { (Lenovo thinkpad e14 intel core i3 10th gen 14-inch full hd thin and light laptop (4gb ram/ 256gb ssd/ windows 10 home/ black/ 1.77 kg), 20ras0sf00)}

                  Please let me know how can i do that.

                  I am tired of sending an email to the customer support of lenovo, and calling them, did not receive any answer for them.

                  I urge and request consumer forum to take strict action against lenovo.

                  If lenovo wont take appropriate action, then i will file case against lonovo

                    We bought a new laptop of lenovo brand on 27 july. The laptop's camera wasn't working. After raising a complaint and following up for 3-4 days, the lenovo customer care took remote control and checked the laptop; they could not fix the issue. They said they would send a technician to check the laptop. Today, we are august 26, the technician hasn't come. I have been following up on phone, twitter and facebook; each time i get a response that the technician will come the next day.

                    I am now stuck with an expensive laptop whose camera doesn't work and there is no sign of replacement or refund.

                      when i tried to start it on 8/7/2020 it did not started.
                      i made official complaint via the vendor who has sold me the laptop i.e GCN Pvt.Ltd. via telephone and email dated 8.7.2020. mentioning the details of laptop.

                      The vendor ha said that the has filed a complaint with lenovo.
                      A representative from lenovo has come to inspect the laptop and told that the hard disk drive is faulty and needs replacement.

                      His inspection was done a month back, and the hard disk is still not received by him. He is now not even lifting phone.
                      The complaint is still pending.

                        This is very frustrating that there is no proper customer support for your company. I bought a laptop 15 days before (8th August, 2020) and now the adhesive near the screen is coming out and the joint between the screen and keyboard are misplaced. Now the points to be noted are:
                        1. After going to the Lenovo customer support centre (Address: Time Square Building 6th floor, Vadodra, Gujarat), inspite of the office was open, the customer care executive told that they will not accept any asset on Saturday, 22nd August and asked me to come on Monday. No idea why if the center is open and they are not able to accept the laptop.
                        2. The customer care executive told that the laptop will not be replaceable and they can only mail to the company for further action. The customer has to take care after that. Whether this is acceptable after having warranty? Are we fool to get extended warranty too?
                        3. After that I connected to customer care[protected] and got a reference number:[protected]. He asked me to connect to premium numbers and told me that I'm a premium member ( asked to call [protected], [protected]). One number doesn't exist and in the other they didn't picked up.

                          Order returned. Lenovo reps refuse to 'cancel order' in their portal for me to get refund from Katapult. So long as Lenovo does not "cancel order' in their portal they keep all the money Katapalt has paid them and still retain possession of returned product to sell again. Lenovo personnel named 'Allen" ([protected]@lenovo.com), in a 3-way call with myself and Katapult would not "cancel order' and kept repeating "Lenovo processed the refund". The rep 'Sam" ([protected]@katapult.com) from Katapult kept asking Allen to simply 'cancel the order' and Allen refused, even though Sam repeatedly explained that is all that would be necessary to process my refund of over $1100. Everyone knows Lenovo has the returned order, but Lenovo will not make my refund possible. Katapalt has also done an internal investigation with their billing department(Reference #[protected] and insists it is Lenovo that has not taken the required step of 'CANCELLING ORDER" that prevents Katapult from issuing my refund.

                          In my opinion Lenovo is showing a lack of business integrity. (This is a reasonable conclusion because for the past 21+ days, 10+ hours on the phone and through emails with Lenovo the company's personnel keep repeating the same thing without working to resolve the issue so that I get my refund.)

                            I bought a lenovo laptop 2 months back from reliance digital, Thripunithura, Ernakulam Dist, Kerala State. @ the time of purchase the showroom guy told me the laptop will give 5-6 hours battery backup. I did not expect 5-6 hours, but a bare minimum 2-3 hours. but it is only giving around an hour. I reported the issue several times and they advised to calibrate the battery, but the battery charging capacity never go above 82 %. After this issue then came "unable to switch on" problem. Issue reported and the mother board is replaced, again after few days the system fall into problems - "Unable to switch on". Problem reported and now its 13 days, nothing happened. Did 12 time followup, simply wasting my time. I am a teacher and all my online sessions have to be done regularly. Purchase of lenovo laptop turned a big headache. Who will compensate for my loss.

                              Lenovo customer care has shown unresponsive and Unethical Practice in customer care for in-warranty customers
                              -Complaint no [protected]
                              -date of complaint registered- 07/07/2020
                              -Current Status-Dispatch number not generated, rejecting consumer complaints and blame shifting on consumer regarding the delay even when the complaint was registered more then 40 days ago
                              -Delaying the repairs even when requested multiple times and asking for same data while not sending a company engineer even in the light of fact that Repairs are Urgently Required.
