We bought a new laptop of lenovo brand on 27 july. The laptop's camera wasn't working. After raising a complaint and following up for 3-4 days, the lenovo customer care took remote control and checked the laptop; they could not fix the issue. They said they would send a technician to check the laptop. Today, we are august 26, the technician hasn't come. I have been following up on phone, twitter and facebook; each time i get a response that the technician will come the next day.

I am now stuck with an expensive laptop whose camera doesn't work and there is no sign of replacement or refund.

    I Have purchased a Lenovo Laptop from GCN Pvt. Ltd. on 22.08.2019 .
    when i tried to start it on 8/7/2020 it did not started.
    i made official complaint via the vendor who has sold me the laptop i.e GCN Pvt.Ltd. via telephone and email dated 8.7.2020. mentioning the details of laptop.

    The vendor ha said that the has filed a complaint with lenovo.
    A representative from lenovo has come to inspect the laptop and told that the hard disk drive is faulty and needs replacement.
    His conatct number is [protected].
    His inspection was done a month back, and the hard disk is still not received by him. He is now not even lifting phone.
    The complaint is still pending.

      This is very frustrating that there is no proper customer support for your company. I bought a laptop 15 days before (8th August, 2020) and now the adhesive near the screen is coming out and the joint between the screen and keyboard are misplaced. Now the points to be noted are:
      1. After going to the Lenovo customer support centre (Address: Time Square Building 6th floor, Vadodra, Gujarat), inspite of the office was open, the customer care executive told that they will not accept any asset on Saturday, 22nd August and asked me to come on Monday. No idea why if the center is open and they are not able to accept the laptop.
      2. The customer care executive told that the laptop will not be replaceable and they can only mail to the company for further action. The customer has to take care after that. Whether this is acceptable after having warranty? Are we fool to get extended warranty too?
      3. After that I connected to customer care[protected] and got a reference number:[protected]. He asked me to connect to premium numbers and told me that I'm a premium member ( asked to call [protected], [protected]). One number doesn't exist and in the other they didn't picked up.

      I have submitted the laptop to the customer care on 24 August 2020 and till today (5th of September), they are just giving excuse:
      1. To connect to the customer care (who never responds),
      2. The part is already in process
      3. Call me after 3 days

      Please help as it is affecting my work in lockdown as I have to connect from home

        Order returned. Lenovo reps refuse to 'cancel order' in their portal for me to get refund from Katapult. So long as Lenovo does not "cancel order' in their portal they keep all the money Katapalt has paid them and still retain possession of returned product to sell again. Lenovo personnel named 'Allen" ([protected]@lenovo.com), in a 3-way call with myself and Katapult would not "cancel order' and kept repeating "Lenovo processed the refund". The rep 'Sam" ([protected]@katapult.com) from Katapult kept asking Allen to simply 'cancel the order' and Allen refused, even though Sam repeatedly explained that is all that would be necessary to process my refund of over $1100. Everyone knows Lenovo has the returned order, but Lenovo will not make my refund possible. Katapalt has also done an internal investigation with their billing department(Reference #[protected] and insists it is Lenovo that has not taken the required step of 'CANCELLING ORDER" that prevents Katapult from issuing my refund.

        In my opinion Lenovo is showing a lack of business integrity. (This is a reasonable conclusion because for the past 21+ days, 10+ hours on the phone and through emails with Lenovo the company's personnel keep repeating the same thing without working to resolve the issue so that I get my refund.)

          I bought a lenovo laptop 2 months back from reliance digital, Thripunithura, Ernakulam Dist, Kerala State. @ the time of purchase the showroom guy told me the laptop will give 5-6 hours battery backup. I did not expect 5-6 hours, but a bare minimum 2-3 hours. but it is only giving around an hour. I reported the issue several times and they advised to calibrate the battery, but the battery charging capacity never go above 82 %. After this issue then came "unable to switch on" problem. Issue reported and the mother board is replaced, again after few days the system fall into problems - "Unable to switch on". Problem reported and now its 13 days, nothing happened. Did 12 time followup, simply wasting my time. I am a teacher and all my online sessions have to be done regularly. Purchase of lenovo laptop turned a big headache. Who will compensate for my loss.

            Lenovo customer care has shown unresponsive and Unethical Practice in customer care for in-warranty customers
            -Complaint no [protected]
            -date of complaint registered- 07/07/2020
            -Current Status-Dispatch number not generated, rejecting consumer complaints and blame shifting on consumer regarding the delay even when the complaint was registered more then 40 days ago
            -Delaying the repairs even when requested multiple times and asking for same data while not sending a company engineer even in the light of fact that Repairs are Urgently Required.

                I had submitted my new lenova yoga tab for service due to charging problem. Within a month it's having problem. After 3 weeks customer service says parts available for yoga tab.

                        Hello,
                        I've recently purchased your company laptop and also registered myself for the lenovo additional 2 year warranty along with a motorola headset by paying rs 1299/-. However, i didn't get extended warranty applied to my laptop which they promised that they will fulfill that by 9th august 2020.

                        I've also tried to reach their customer care support and also email support multiple times but all i got is automated response. Please look into this and do needful.

                        I'm also attaching the email response stating that my extended warranty has been approved from them along with payment details however upon checking it didn't happen.

                                I raised a complaint on 22 may 2020 as my laptop was not working. After one months their engineer visited me and he told there is problem in mother board so he sent a request to lenovo service centre to provide mother board for my laptop. After several followup i get to know that they have ordered the part as they dont had the mother board in their stock so it will take three weeks to come. After 3 months also they dont have the mother board and when i called customer care they said its still in transit. I wrote the complaint in twitter, after several attempts they said that as parts are not available they will provide me system replacement and they have received the approval also, their executive will come and will seal the laptop. Today on 10th aug executive visited and again he said that they will provide me the damage part replacement and he denied for system replacement and left. Its been three months now and due to pandamic we all are working from home and classes of kids are also going online so just imagine how much my work has been hampered and also my daughter has faced so much issue as laptop is not working. They dont have value of their own words. Is there any timeline for the resolution of complaint or not?? And if they have crossed the deadline which they asked was 3 weeks and its been 3 months so how much patience i need to keep?? Now if they wont resolve my issue within 48 hrs than i will drag this issue to court. My complaint no is [protected]. Plz do needful. I would also request others plz dont buy any products from lenovo as their customer service is pathetic...

                                  I bought my lenovo laptop on jan8, 2020 and i think it's my biggest mistake to buy lenovo product. Since i bought the laptop i have been facing the issue of
                                  Slow performance isnpite of i5 8th gen, 8gb ram, 16gb optane memory.
                                  I have atleast 30 times called customer care toll free number 25 times given my laptop on remote, 3 times visited the lenovo service centre located at janakpuri. Customer toll free number are not able to help, there are not able to solve the issue. The service centre at janakpuri, new delhi says they are only responsible for hardware. If i bought laptop from lenovo and it hangs and give slow performance, so where should i contact. It had cost me additional i roaming here and there again and again from seven months. Being a b. Tech student what i buy the laptop for is not fulfilled. It has never made to work a single day even. Even my studies are getting disturbed. Is this the service of lenovo. I say to everyone do not buy anything from lenovo. I want a solution of my problem within a week or i will file a complain agaisnt the company no mattwer what costs me. I am fed up from 7months they are making me fool.

                                      I bought this ideapad s145 - 14api in march and since then i've been experiencing issues after issues with this laptop. The very first issue was with the fan. Second issue was with the power button. Third issue was the system ran into a problem by itself and i had to install new windows on it. Fourth issue is extremely heated the laptop becomes when switched on. Now fifth issue is that there is no display. I spent 35-36k on this laptop to work on my new website and everytime i had to stop my work which led to loss of time and money both. Now again it's in front of me but of no use. What kind of machine have they given me i don't know. Now i can't bear all these problems that occur again and again. I want a replacement for this laptop. It's literally useless and my money got wasted on this laptop. I want these people to take this laptop and give a new one as soon as possible.
