I need to get my laptop fixed at the earliest. I would not have bought lenovo laptop, if i would have know about the pathetic product. Not working within 20 days of purchase.
I installed the same os after this laptop was delivered it to me and it ran successfully for 20 days. During this time of installing, the entire installation was complete within 45 mins.
Besides, i am using the same os, in other laptops and it is working like a charm.
Its is lenovo's product, which is freaking faulty. I was working on it, and then it suddenly froze, and restarted by itself, to do a automatic repair. The automatic repair failed. The laptop, did not start, and gave message -
"an operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system. Press ctrl+alt+del to restart "
I tried to do system restore, it failed with an error.
I tried to install windows 10 using usb drive, it was stuck at second stage for an hour.
I tried to re-install it again, the windows set-up din't start, and kept loading for 2 hrs approx.
I went to safe mode with networking with windows 7 disc, and formatted the drives using diskpart.
I called a local tech, he tried to install windows using usb drive, it was stuck on the same screen for an hour. He clearly concluded that there is a problem with a hard drive.
I tried to install windows and it was stuck on the screen, where is asks to select the partition for an hour.
I tried to re-install it, now it is stuck, as shared in the screenshot for 3 hrs now.
Then lenovo's idiotic technician will say that, they cannot support me as it is a dos system. It is a problem with lenovo's # hdd. I have warranty and premium care, and i need this to be fixed. I don't want to know lenovo's # policies, rs 42000 is not less, it a huge amount and i will need to get this fixed.
I still have 340 days of warranty remaining as on today.
I have purchased premium care as well. This is not my fault. It is clearly lenovo's fault, there is a problem with your hdd.
Lenovo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
