I had purchased lenovo k8 note online during december 2017 around rs.10k. On 10th may 2019 i faced problem. Phone suddenly started becoming on and off and does not operated well after that. On complaining to lenovo service center they dignosed and told that it is software problem. They formatted handset and reinstalled android 8.0.0. And it worked well for next 24 hours. After that again same problem of becoming frequent on and off. Now complained again to lenovo same service center at mobilink, mangalwarpeth, kolhapur, maharastra.
Now they told that motherboard has problem it will cost rs.11700/- to replace motherboard, more than handset cost.
I frequently requested them to give me official quote but they don't. Afterwards they offered 25% discount. This is absolutely ridiculous and loot of customers. I have lost belief in brand lenovo and will not recommend to any one, or i may suggest not purchase at all.

    I purchased the Lenovo K8 note on August 2017 from Amazon. Till 10 May 2019 my phone was working properly. After the update my phone started rebooting after every five minute. I called customer care and they suggested to hard reset the phone. I did and then my phone reboot only when open any application some time. I went to Lenovo service center in Indira Nagar, Bangalore they initially said that it is software issue and later they called me and said that it is motherboard issue and I need to change the motherboard and it will cost me around Rs 8000/- . My phone IMEI number is [protected].
    Lenovo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    My lenovo k8 note is restarting again and again. Will it get fixed...???

      Getting restarted continuously.

      The service center executives are very arrogant and asking for money to update software of mobile. Even after that also it's not working now they are asking me to change mother board. When i asked about the price they are saying in the cost of that mother board you can buy new mobile.

      I was trying to explain that this has happened because of the latest update provided by lenovo only why should i pay for it, so they giving me example of iphone (The battery issue happened earlier because of there latest update). What a pathetic explanation they are provided i don't believe it.
      Lenovo please save yourself for getting so much famous with this issues.

      Please give me some solution.

        I gave my lenovo tab in ananya infotel service center on 30-april-2019.
        Several times i asked whether it got repaired or not they used to say we will call you after sometime but they never called. Today also i called them they told we will be calling you in 10min but they didn't.
        After 2-3 hrs my husband's called them and asked about the same suddenly they told it got repaired please come today itself and collect it.
        When i went there they gave me a tablet which was not mine. Screenguard was removed from it when i told screen guard was there in my tab but in this tab it is not there.
        Many other things were also there because of which i had a doubt like all the stickers which were there in tablet backside were now in front side, screenguard was missing, serial no. Was not matching.
        When i told these things to them like where is my screen guard he simply said was not there then suddenly a person came and said while repairing we removed the screengurad. Here my question is what is the need of removing screenguard when it was not there in camera.
        Then i asked about serial no. Which was not matching earlier he just edited and told now it's updated. We just restarted the tab.
        Then i asked about part no. Then they were unaware of that.
        I didn't take that tab as it was not mine
        Also that condition which they were giving me was not new and my tab was 5months old which i didn't use much.
        Also not able to contact any lenovo online support as all the no. Are invalid. It was better to keep that with fault only.
        Feeling helpless now.
        I will never buy or recommend for lenovo product here after.

          I had purchased lenovo k8 note on last year (Not in warranty) now my mobile is getting switch off problem. It is getting switched off after 5mins use. I tried reset my phone still i am facing the same problem and still my phone's problem is not get resolved. So kindly take necessary steps to resolve the problem.             This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. I ordered a lenovo legion y740 from them in march of 2019. At the time i was promised a shipping date a couple of weeks out and for the product to arrive a week following that. I was excited. I had done research on this product and it was everything i wanted (Despite being a bit over the budget i had planned for). A week or so later they delayed the laptop 4-6 weeks without notice. I was not happy so i called them. The customer service team read from a prompt and blamed my order for being custom. For clarity, i asked for a larger ssd and windows pro (Not a problem that should result in a 4-6 week delay). Customers with delayed shipping had been offered a discount. So reluctantly i decided to wait. I had been charged (Or so i was told at the time) and the refund would take a while i was told. They offered to contact the "warehouse team" and get an update and ask for it to be expediated. I was promised they would be in touch with me via email. This, of course, never happened. Plus, i was excited about the product. When the date for shipping arrived they updated the "shipping date" to the next day and the "estimated arrival date" to the same day as the "shipping date." this did not add up so i called them. They read me, word for word, the same speech about my custom order. At this point i was on call three with them i believe. I was angry. They said they could not tell me where my order was and would have to contact the warehouse team for an update. I was angry but the tech did send me an email. Of course, there was no follow up. Later that day i decided to cancel the order. I called and requested a cancel. The person from lenovo tried to convince me it would ship the next day and that he would give me a $100 discount. I declined and demanded a cancel. They put in the cancellation and told me it would take 24-48 hours. At this point i was suspicious because i could not find a charge for the laptop on my account. I asked them if i had already been charged and they said i had and that they would have to process a refund for the full amount due to the cancellation. I later found out from my bank and amazon pay that i had never been charged. After my cancellation request i received an email stating that my order would be cancelled due to "federal law" because they could not estimate a shipping date unless i contacted them and requested they keep it open.

            A little over 24 hours after i cancelled they shipped the laptop.in looking at other customer complaints i understand this is a common response so they can claim that the laptop was in the process of shipping and could not be cancelled. That is not true. Their own website said it wasn't shipping and i had an email stating they had no estimated shipping date!

            I called lenovo again, they stated that they could reroute the package and "once it was received" by their north carolina warehouse they would process a full refund. I was confused again, they had never charged me. I did not want them to refund money they never charged but i did not want to pay to ship the laptop back to them. I asked where the money would be refunded to me and they said to "amazon." i checked the ups tracking website, the laptop had been shipped but a new delivery location was in process. I called amazon pay, they told me that the charge was "in process." however, they issued an email to lenovo stating that this was cancelled and i never received an item so lenovo needed to cancel the payment it process. This email was apparently ignored.

            On 5/2 the laptop was received by lenovo in whitsett, north carolina. I have the ups shipping confirmation. After lenovo received the laptop, they charged my credit card for over $2, 000.00. This is theft. I did not receive the laptop. I did not want the laptop. I had cancelled the laptop. Amazon had tried to cancel the laptop. I called my bank but had to wait for the charged to officially post to my account before disputing it. I have also filed a complaint through amazon pay and they are trying to resolve this as well. I cannot call lenovo today because it is a saturday and they are not open.

            Every time i called lenovo their person on the phone clearly had no idea what was going on. They would lie to me about the reasons for the delay (Apparently there was a shortage of parts from the manufacturer - something i might have understood if they just told me that) and made promises they did not fulfill. They told me that they had already received payment. They had not. The customer service people refuse to allow you to speak with a supervisor. They are utterly unhelpful and i wasted hours of my time trying to resolve these issues to no avail.

              Hello sir, sorry to say that lenovo laptop service centre, munirka, delhi, is did very bad with me, there is a software problm on my laptop but they said therd is a motherboard problms and they charge 3550 /- from me but after that also, i m facing same problem, then i tried to contact with service center employ but they did not respond my call, please sir, do an strictly action against them, i don't want that people's will face same problm as like i am facing now,

                It was supposed to come along with a bag, targus b810 as shown in their website.

                Instead of recieving the targus b810 bag for which they invoiced me for, they shipped me the wrong bag which cannot even fit my new laptop in.

                I need a replacement for the current bag i have received to the one i was invoiced for, i/e targus b810 as shown in the lenovo india website.

                  I bought lenovo k8 note in september 2017 from last week system updated new version of android after that my handset has stopped working. Customer care has told me that new android is not working in this device due to which your handset has stopped working but next day i was informed that phone's motherboard was not working and its cost would be 80-90% of the device cost. As per customer care of lenovo due to updating of new android in handset motherboard is not working properly.

                    Lenovo idea pad slim design laptops are faulty. The power button contains a plastic support underneath the switch, which has to be handled extremely delicately unlike normal laptops where you press the button to switch on and off the machine.

                    In a recent case my company purchased a lenovo ideapad (Sl no yd04axzl) and within 2 weeks the power button became loose. It was unrecognisable that there was a plastic part underneath which got pressed as the machine was functioning perfectly ok. However after another 6 months suddenly the machine stopped charging. This resulted in a situation where we had to approach the lenovo service center. There it was detected that the mother board has got damaged which is covered under warranty, however the plastic part underneath the power on button is concluded to be a user inflicted damage and warranty is denied. This they mentioned is covered under "accidental damage protection plan", which was never offered to me during the purchase of the machine mentioning that such protection is necessary to claim even damage of parts inside the casing of the computer even if the casing is not damaged.

                    My laptop was purchased on the 6th of june 2018 and is still under warranty. I had also purchased additional 2 years warranty from croma (Where i purchased this laptop from) to gain peace of mind for atleast 3 years.

                    There is no specific indication by lenovo mentioning what is normal wear and tear and what consumer inflicted damage.in my case there is no apparent damage in the area where the power on switch on the cover of the machine hence i am completely perplexed how the plastic part underneath can get damaged without damaging the casing. I have photographs of the damaged part as well as the cover (Attached). This can only happen if there is a fault in the design. Ideally such things are taken care of during the design failure mode and effect analysis (Dfmea) stage. But it looks like such failure analysis was never done during designing of this machine and hence consumers are being penalized.

                    Also the quotation provided for this small plastic part is rs 7000, which is 15% the cost of the machine. It looks like lenovo is trying to recover the cost of the motherboard which got damaged by overcharging this small plastic part. It is hence necessary for a consumer to understand what was the purchase price of this part and by how much % it is being loaded while selling it as a spare to the consumer.

                    As a consumer hence i need justice -
                    1. Either lenovo takes care of this damage free of cost and ensures that such flimsy design power on switch be replaced with appropriate design modification or ensures that any future damage of such nature that i apprehend over the life of the machine be taken care of by them free of cost. Or

                    2. Refunds back the money that i paid to purchase this laptop along with sensitive data that i have in the hard drive of this machine.

                      Bought lenovo k8 note in jan 2018 and day by day the phone becomes hotter i thought it was due to my usage so i ignored. The issue increased so much that i cannot keep the phone on my ears to talk because of its heat. Suddenly on 30 march 2019 while using my whatsapp this phone starts hanging n it restarted automatically. From 5 pm the phone restarted continuously. Restart restart n restart n at 10 pm the phone got switched off n not getting started. I went to lenovo gallery vashi they told me motherboard problem 6500 will be the charges. N locally i m. Am unable to make it repaired. I hate lenovo. Meea pura paisa waste hua. Lenovo ka phone 14000 me liya tha n only 14 months hi chala. It's my request to lenovo to plz repair my handset or refund atpeast my half amount so that i can buy new phone. I m. Very much upset with lenovo handset. I m. From middle class family. Itna mushkil. Se phone liye the. Itna sambhal k use karti thi. But all in vain

                        My lenevo k8 note device is not working properly since last couple of days it switched off automatically in 1 or 2 min o[censored]ses when on battery in just go on the main screen and shut down again. And when i connect it with charger it works properly. I can't understand why it is happening. When i went to customer service care they says my motherboard is damaged and it doesn't repair under warrenty. My phone doesn't fall from a good height or had been ever a good hit. So how it is possible i tried many ways. Plese help me in this case

                          I hv got changed display sreen by m/s. Smart communications trivandrum, purely be cause yr website showed they are yr service centre on 19th nov 2018. Barely amonth after cracks developed on the display and key impact became haphazard and out of control. Appeared used duplicate and used-one for the job.                             I have bought lenovo k50a40 in 2016. From that time onwards problem with battery back up. Delay in charging, but easily discharged within minutes o[censored]sage. Is there any solution for this,? Due to this there is no use for the phone, rs 10900 became a waste... Kindly make arrangements to rectify it as a costomer i am troubled a lot in everyday matters. This will force me to take charger connected with phone every time

                              I have bought lenovo k8 note in last week of september 2017 and within a year and few months the motherboard of the device not working. Is this the credibility of the product? If yes than nobody will purchase your products. Customer care has told me that they will fastboot the device but next day i was informed that phone's motherboard was not working and its cost would be 80-90% of the device cost. Lenovo have to pay me back for my product or have to exchange the product. This is cheating with customers and their believe in lenovo. Company should have to take response as soon as possible. Hope that you will understand customer's pain of buying lenovo product and facing this issue.

                                Ordered from: www.lenovo.com. order date: march 7, delivery date march 14, 2019. Upon connection, i realised that the monitor arrived with a damaged panel. The damage was internal but there were no scratches on the exterior. The monitor was manufactured on july 7, 2017 and delivered to me in march 2019. Lenovo has refused to provide a replacement. It appears to be an intentional ploy to get rid o[censored]nsold, old and defective items.

                                  After investigation, concerned person told me connector has displaced from it's board/position and it has to replaced and it is not coming under warranty.For your inforamation It was not Liquid damaged nor physical damaged and costs me around 1250/-
                                  Due to my urgent requirement, I paid said amount.

                                  But I am unhappy with your service, as there was no liquid damaged and mobile is under warranty. My simple question is why your company gives warranty, what parts you can replace under warranty?

                                  It's a simple logic no one can purposely brake charging connector and also I have never given to phone any under age person. How can you take charges for such circumstances.

                                  Sorry to say, If you are giving sevices like no one will believe on your brand and This my last Lenovo product.

                                    I've purchased lenovo fitness band hw02 plus on 22/05/2018 through amazon.in and the strap of the product has broken on 28th february, 2019.

                                    Strap is a integral part of the fitness band and without which the band cannot be used.

                                      Sir i bought a laptop by lenovo from delhi on jan 19 and my laptop have started creating problem on 28 feb 19... I complaint to service centre several time... They told that the on site service will provide you on 4 days but they cannot provide... Todays 1 week is crossed.. But i m still facing problem... They don't provide any assistance.. Plz help me sr.. My laptop is under warranty (On site). At first time when i was complaint.. They told they provide sevice in 48 hrs...

                                        My lenovo laptop in warranty period and after full charge running 1h 25m. I have contacted support for change battery then they are saying your battery is not changing till battery is fully degrade even when i purchased laptop they told your battery ran 3hrs 30 min.
