Lenovo — regarding poor product quality (want replacement) | |||
I am a lenovo customer and currently using lenovo ideapad 720s Serial number : pf11lqdm I had purchased lenovo yoga 730 (Product serial number: mp1dzuw9). Unfortunately, i faced a screen flickering issue within 10 days of purchase. I took laptop to nearest service center. They kept the laptop under observation for 3 days and returned it saying there is no issue. Within 2 days of getting my laptop back, i faced the same issue again. This time i asked them to get my device replaced. It took them about a week and before purchasing the laptop, i had to sell my old laptop. Hence i was not even having anything to work on. After about a week i got a call from the service center. I took the laptop to the dealer from where i purchased the laptop and he gave me the same model. This time as soon as i switched on the laptop, the screen flickering started and i was forced to buy a non touch device i. E ideapad 720s - 13ikb. After getting ideapad 720s (Serial number : pf11lqdm), i had to go through the process of changing the extended warranty card and adp. Now this laptop worked well for about a month and half, i had hinge issue and i had to visit service center again. After a month of this issue, the laptop screen was blacked out and not working so i visited the service center again. After some days, i was facing a crackling noise problem coming. Having visited service center before, which is around 15kms from my home, this time i decided to use on site service. A technician visited my home to change the fans. After few days, i got a screen flickering issue same as that with the previous machine, i contacted premium care and they sent a technician with screen. But as soon as the screen got fixed i noticed a white spot and asked technician. He asked me to contact premium care. After fews days they sent a technician with just the back (Not screen). On the next day, another technician visited my place with inappropriate screw driver. After 2 days, they sent another technician which got everything that can change the screen successfully. Now, it has been 20 days and i faced a finger print reader issue and after a day, i found the laptop is getting switched off while working on it (Happened 4 times till now). After all this issues, i contacted with the service team and they asked me to keep my device at service center which will under observation for 1 week or above. Even though i visited the service center where they kept my device under observation for 4 days, they came up by saying its a software issue and now after receiving the device i am facing fingerprnt issue again. I am not satisfied with the device because its been 7 months and i had faced 8 or more issues. That simply means i am facing issue after every month. I have wasted much time on talking with your service team, sitting with the technician and visiting service center. Please take a strict action against it.
