I have gas leakage problem in my LG refrigerator. I have called LG customer care several times. They have registered my complaints (nos.[protected],[protected],[protected] but still there has been no action taken. The customer care person insists that an engineer had contacted me, and could not agree on charges.But till date, no one from LG has contacted me regarding solution of my problem. Also, my mails to LG company (as given by customer care on phone) are getting bounced. Please look into the matter and kindly resolve the problem at the earliest.

    Its been 4 days since my fridge's cooling system is not working and after each call they say within 24 hours things will be fixed. But in fact we have been chasing them without any result. Got a kid at home and it's difficult to manage without a fridge. With LG - Life becomes Grumpy and can never be good. Never seen such a bad product matched with it's lousy service. Definitely would suggest all known and unknown people to avoid buying this product.

      My LG A/C stopped working on 20th of September and I booked for Repair service through LG toll free support with number : RNA[protected]

      It was automatically assigned to :

      SERVICE CENTER INFORMATION
      Center Name CHARM ENGINEERS
      Address 212/9 ST'MARYS ROAD MANDAVELI
      Phone[protected]


      The technicians from CHARM ENGINEERS arrived the next day and looked around for 5 minutes and told me that they need a ladder to reach for the outdoor unit and will be back with it and left. They never came back. After 3 days, they cancelled my request without any intimation. I came to know this through the status tracker on LG website here : https://www.lg.com/in/support/repair-service/track-repair-detail
      But still I waited for 10 days for them to come. They never did

      So I rented a ladder myself and booked for another repair service RNA[protected] on 3rd of October. Then technicians arrived the next day again. This time since they had no excuse, they did the diagnosis and told me that it is compressor problem and people will come and take the outdoor unit the same day. They did not come till 8th of October. Finally on 8th they came and took away the outdoor unit, promising me the issue will be fixed in like 10 days.

      But on 12th of October 6:05pm, I got an SMS from VM-LGcare that says

      "Your Service Request RNA[protected]is closed.(Reason: Customer Reschedule). If need any further assistance pls SMS "Service" to 5757554"


      I thought it was a mistake but I logged on to your website and confirmed that status was changed from "Progress" to "Cancel"

      I sent "Service" to 5757554" but there was no response.
      So I called your toll free number[protected]

      They told me to call one mrs. Bharati[protected]. I tried several times. but she never attended or called back.

      I googled the number and found that SHE NEVER ATTENDS CALLS

      So my situation is, the service request is cancelled TWICE without solving the problem and now even my outdoor unit is with CHARM ENGINEERS


      I want answers to the following questions :

      1. Is it usual in LG Customer care to close complaints without solving them ?

      2. Will CHARM ENGINEERS ever give me back my outdoor unit because they have FALSIFIED the information that "CUSTOMER RESCHEDULED" the request ?

      3. If at all they come back with my unit, will the billing be informed to LG ? They need to have an open complaint for showing the billing details to LG, right ?

      4. Your toll free support did nothing but giving me a dummy number. why ?

      5. The SMS to 5757554 was also had no use. why ?

      6. Since I proved that CHARM ENGINEERS is closing complaints without solving it, what will be the action taken against them ?

      I DONT WANT LG TO REPLY HERE SAYING THAT WE HAVE FORWARDED TO CONCERNED DEPARTMENT AND THEY WILL HANDLE IT.
      I WANT THE ANSWER HERE, SO THAT EVERYONE CAN SEE.
      I WILL FOLLOW UP REGULARLY.

        Dear LG, My 240 LITER double door refrigerator giving problem. For that I try to lodge a complain on Sunday 13th of October. Mysteriously the customer care executive listen my problem but didn't give me a complain no and assure me tech department will call me within 24hrs, which I never get. Again I try to lodge a complain on 14th of October. Customer care executive Mr Arjun, First of all confirm me that Sunday no complain was lodge and then he only take my complain and give me a complain no- RNA[protected]. Again assure me tech department will contact me within 24hrs, but still now nothing happen. Need not to mention my family is suffering with this faulty equipment and need a urgent solution.         Thanks for your reply. Today some tech visited as per him he or some other tech will come (with spare parts) after 4 to 5 days or more than that tosolve the issue. Dont understand the reson behind this delay. Really dont expect this type of solution from a reputed brand like LG. Need an earliest solution of my issue. Hopefully you will do something.

          I am having a reliance cordless connection for last 8 yrs' Its battery is almost dead. I want to replace it with new one but it is not available anywhere. I did not get proper response at reliance outlet. No other handset rendering this service is available. I have no other option but to surrender this Reliance service. The LG handset model is LSI-110.

LG engineer has visited and observed that the panal has to be replaced. Later, LG team informed that the panal not available with them.               Dear Sir,
              I bought a CRT TV Make : LG Electronics, Model No. 21SB8RGE4TP having product ID 002LPMP007795 on 10.05.2010. from a retailer. The warranty offered was 12 months from the date of purchase. In the month of April 2011 I observed some issue with display and sound of the TV. I contacted to the retailer for service. He had given a service center number located at Shahdol. I called on that number and got informed that I have to contact service engineer for this purpose. They had given the number of service engineer and when asked for complaint ID they said that the engineer will check the TV and if the complain will be genuine than he will provide the ID. I called to the service engineer. The service engineer visited my place and checked the TV and repaired the same. I asked for service received but he denied by saying that he will lodge the issue to the service center then he can able to provide me the complain ID. For that visit he charged Rs.450/- without receipt and given reason that this is minimum charged by the company in warranty period.
              After 02 days of repairing same problem repeated again. I again called the service center and got same reply to contact with service engineer. I again called the service engineer and he visited my place after a month with a lot of follow up. He checked the TV and said that there is problem with IC and at now original IC is not available. So whenever the IC is available. I called many time to the engineer but nor he and neither the service center responded for the call. After 03 months the engineer pickup the call and attained the TV problem and replaced the IC and charged Rs.700/- for the IC. When I asked that this issue was not fully resolved from the first time when my TV is under warranty period, so what the need to charge so much of amount. As stated that this is service charge and visit charge, but they are not charging the cost of IC. Sir, even after the IC was changed the display problem was resolved not sound issue not resolved. The engineer said that I have to check the cable connection and if the cable is good that he again visit and resolve the issue.
              I checked the cable connection with service provider and operator and found there is no issue with cable connection. After that I called many time to the engineer but they never responded till now. Then after I lodged a complaint through email and I got a call from Shahdol service center and committed by them that they will look the issue but the complaint lodged is automatically closed. I again contacted to service center they said that I didn’t called anytime during the TV was in warranty period and If I called then where is the complaint ID but said also that they will replace the kit by charging Rs.2200/- for that. I denied for the same.
              Now I lodged the complain and found same reply from them that there is no complaint ID with me..
              It is regrettable and felt cheated by the services from your end and service center. I hope that company will look into the matter and will justify the same.
              If there is no solution of this problem then please clear your jurisdictions area so that I can go to the consumer court and media this cheating and fake commitment of good services from your end.

                  Dear Customer care team Complain not resolve against no RNA[protected] My self atul kumar purchased new LCD 26LH20R.ATR (serial no 910LPWR041489) in 11/10/ 2009 and became a proud customer of LG electronics. But the things turn around when we have started using the LCD and gave me immense trouble during the span. Every time we have purchased AMC and their support is not as I have expected. your team has never bother to satisfy me in terms of smooth service and promises made. They service deptt not replaced the defective part as they said the spare part supply is not done and it was settled through direct cash with deprication as the would cost to me approximate Rs.20000/-as i have purchase 3years +2 years Consecutively Amc Of esteemed company due to the fear factor of getting problem in the LCD.                       MY split Lg AC purchased 3 year back is out of order now, two week back company people informed, they came and assured to repair the fault in 24 hours but it took 72 hours, just to fill gas. After 6 hours again it was not working and company informed, they are contacting ang promising time and again to repair just on phone but the AC is still in same condition. Either the product is of low quality or the company is irresponsible to take care of customer's complaint.                         In mid August, 2013 my fridge stopped working & gas was refilled. The refrigerator stopped cooling on 7 Sept 2013. During the engineer visit I told engineer that the gas had been filled in August. However he insisted that it was gas leakage & the filter needed change. A few days after this repair, the fridge stopped cooling again. A different engg came who said it is problem of gas leakage & this time fridge would need to be switched off for 24 hours to clear a blockage in the gas pipe. After 24 hours another engg came & said gas filling person would come next day. That day I escalated the problem so an engg (expert) was sent. He said problem is in the thermostat & changed it on 20th Sept. My fridge was effectively off for 48 hours. Again a few days later fridge stopped cooling again. The engineer who visited, said fridge needs to be switched off for 24 hours so that he can check problem. When I refused to do it, he agreed to see if the problem could be diagnosed same day. When he saw the back of fridge he said the fan which cools the compressor has stopped working so its motor needs to be changed & came next day (30th sept) and replaced the motor. A week later, on 7th Oct the engineer who visited said the thermostat replaced earlier (on Sep 20) was of an incorrect model so needs to be changed. I was asked to switch off fridge so that part could be replaced. On 8th I escalated problem again & had to make calls to have engg visit at time promised. This time again, a different engg visited. When his opening statement was "what is the problem" i made another escalation call asking if he is carrying the reqd part. The thermostat has been replaced again today (8th Oct). Again I've been promised there will be no problem after this. So far I have had multiple service engineers visit, who to me appear to lack the basic understanding of the problem & are doing hit & trial, since the problem is not getting resolved. Im very kindly assured that I will not have to pay service charges however they fail to understand that the cost in terms of having to discard rotten food is much higher, not to mention cost of my having to run my room AC round the clock to preserve raw vegetables & fruits!! The only positive in this whole episode has been that the engg comes within 24hrs of registering complaint. Im told that on escalation my problem is being discussed & then engg sent. However, as a customer Im extremely dissatisfied since my problem has not been resolved for a month now!!

                          Helo, We are unfortunate buyer of LG SPLIT AC. We bought FIVE (5) UNITS, LG SPLIT A/C on 07/04/2013 from BHARMAL SALES, VADODARA. Detail about invoice of the said A/C is, INVOICE NO: R-2012LGSUR0955-991 AND 2012LGSUR0955-992 . Out the said FIVE unit one unit bearing, serial no: 30INARVO10150, AND PRODUCTIO NO: ISN5AC3FF1.AN76UD1, has been malfunctioning from the day one. We are never satisfied with the performance of the said unit. But, for last two days, the performance has gone even more south and virtually no cooling whatsoever. Suddenly it stops functioning for long time. We made complaint for the same with BHARMAL SALES, VADODARA, but got really a very very shocking and appalling response . We have been said that, it would take a month or so for repairing work of the A/C. As very onset we wrote, we are unfortunate buyer of LG product. We had been cautioned about poor quality and ever more poor customer support, but, we ignored it to our detriment. We are repenting to have purchased such a lousy appliance. Instead we ought to have bought PANASONIC, A/C. Any way one mistake is too many, we would now never ever go for any product from LG, and our bad experience should deter our near and dear ones from going for any product of LG. Let us conclude with golden words, for your benefit, that, A SINGLE SATISFIED USER OF YOUR PRODUCT WOULD FETCH YOU 100 MORE BUYERS, BUT ONE DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER WOULD TAKE 1000 AWAY FROM YOU. Let us hope wisdom prevails upon LG people and our issue is addressed sooner than later. We believe, the unit in reference is with INHERENT CRAFTMAND AND MANUFACTURING DEFECT, WHICH NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW AND PERFECTLY FUNCTIONING UNIT.                             i went to a lg store at real tech park, vashi, navi mumbai. i wanted a 32 inch tv that i could use as a monitor via hdmi connection. i went in the shop and i asked the dealer what was the frame rate of 32ln5110 tv and he replied 100hz. i asked him about the frame rate many times clearly mentioning the term "frame rate" and he always replied stating the frame rate to be 100 hz. i bought the tv and i noticed while playing a game that frame rate is not up to the mark. i checked it out on internet and saw that the frame rate of the tv was 50hz and mci was 100. i contacted the dealer about the problem and he replied that by frame rate he meant "motion clarity index" and they are one and the same thing. i told him that frame rate of the tv is actually 50hz and then he replied that the mci is 100. he is telling that he cannot do anything about it. he called me to the shop so that he could explain me what mci is. he sold me a product based on false information which is now of no use to me.

                              Bad product support & bad quality product (Lg product is not working) To whom it may concern. Product model no. Model name : lg single door 285beg Bill is also attached Sir, i m frustrated after buying the lg refriegerator product and i m not satisfied with the service of this product. I bought the lg fridge 285beg5 on dated 08th june 2013 now i have a lot of trouble at present it is not working. There is a major problem the refrigerator is not working I have registered a lot of complaint but no one has resolved my problem Your engiineer visited a lot of times and tried to resolve but they could not be able to do it even they tell me that they will replace it as early but i did not response just they give us a mispresentation Kindly register my complaint and replace my refrigerator was bought. If the lg refrigerator is not put into use by you or your authorized representatives, i will be left with no other option but to seek the legal assistance of the appropriate forum to get my grievances redressed. I am not really happy with the way that your after care service centre is functioning, since they are simply interested in charging the customers rather than addressing the issue/problem rightfully. I hope you will understand my mental agony and the problem i have been facing all these days and set the issue amicably since it is the responsibility and duty of the producing firms to attend to the customers’ needs. I have very bad experience with lg product. Even i don't know where i suppose to go with my complaint. What should i have to do? Should i never purchased again lg product, even not suggest other to buy lg product. I am requesting you to see the matter and try to solve my problem.                                 Complaint regarding LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd -1.5 ton Split Air Conditioner I am the owner of 1.5 ton LG split Air conditioner bearing Sl. No.005NLYX001786 and Model No.LSA5LPAF6. The original invoice/bill is not traceable but to the best of my information the air-conditioner was purchased by me in July 2010. Subsequently I have entered into an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with M/s. LG Electronics Pvt. Limited vide HLP No. : MJ 038983 on 25th March, 2013 against payment of Rs.2391/-(Rupees two thousand three hundred ninety one). The comprehensive AMC started from 25.03.2013 and was to end on 26.03.2014. On noticing that the air-conditioner was not giving required cooling, I registered a complaint with LG Electronics helpline No.[protected] on 21.09.2013 at 09:43 AM and the complaint No. provided was RNA[protected]. The reason mentioned in the SMS from LG Electronics received by me was (Gas charging). Subsequently, an Engineer from LG Electronics visited my residence and informed that the air-conditioning unit requires refilling of gas. As for the next 5 days, there was no further repair/service support from LG Electronics, I spoke over phone No.[protected] with LG Electronics, Noida service center. At the service center my call was eventually put through to Shri Sudhakar Tyagi (Cell No.[protected]) who informed me that one particular spare part required to repair my air-conditioner was no longer in supply by LG Electronics and as such my air-conditioning unit could not be repaired. He advised that I should submit a photocopy of the bill/invoice relating to purchase of air-conditioner along with a copy of the AMC receipt. He also suggested that I should make a request to LG Electronics Pvt. Ltd. to refund the depreciated value of the air-conditioner as the Company is unable to repair the same. As my air-conditioner was purchased in July 2010 I was unable to understand how a reputed Company such as LG Electronics had discontinued spares support to a fairly new product and therefore requested that I be allowed to speak to his superior. After constant persuasion, I was provided with the cell Number of one Shri Sameer Dhiman (Cell No.[protected]), Sales Manager, LG Electronics, NOIDA. I spoke to Shri Dhiman on 3.10.2013 during which Shri Dhiman repeated the same suggestions earlier given by Shri Tyagi. During my conversation with him on 3.10.2013, I specifically requested Shri Dhiman to provide to me in writing, the exact reason for the inability of the Company to repair the air-conditioning unit and also to spell out in writing the offer regarding payment of depreciated value. Shri Dhiman refused to provide either of the above. As my queries and requests had not been complied with, I requested Shri Dhiman to provide me the name and cell no. of his superiors. After my innumerable requests, Shri Dhiman provided me with cell number of the person who he claimed to be his superior i.e. Ms. Puja Mathur (Cell No.[protected]), Branch Head, Ghaziabad. On contacting Ms. Puja Mathur on the aforesaid cell number, the person flatly denied being the superior officer of Shri Dhiman and claimed that Shri Dhiman was infact her boss. Therefore, the facts are that 1. LG Electronics has discontinued spares support to their product which was sold by it in the year 2010. 2. LG Electronics entered into an Annual Maintenance Contract for a product for which it did not provide spares support. 3. LG Electronics is neither repairing my Air Conditioner, nor providing me in writing, the reasons for its inability to do so.

                                  Dear Team,

                                  I have purchased one LG Microwave in[protected], unfortunately my Microwave was dad in dated[protected], I have registered my complaint on dated[protected] than executive has come n tell me the my microwave is repaired in 3 or 4day but they will not done this in 3 or 4 days. Than executive came on[protected] n cheak the microwave n take the microwave with him n than after his not responding my lg customer care tell me that they are helpless.

                                  . Please help me n resolved my problem .

                                    I have bought a LED of LG, DELHI After one year one month of purchase its MAIN CARD got damaged as there was no picture visible and only sound was coming.I complaint for the same to the LG Authorised service center. They said it needs to be changed and they changed it for an amount of INR 6000 on dt: 29/09/2013.I request you to please help me in this regard as I am completely cheated by the company, first with the product.NEXT TIME WILL NEVER THINK TO BUY LG PRODUCTS... THANX

                                      I, Dipak Mahajan have purchased LG Plasma TV in 2010. Within 2.5 years, it started malfunctioning. This definately raises a big question on the quality of LG TV and products. I have another TV from "SHARP". Its 8 years old and still not even a single repair or complaint from my side. Moreover, when i raised a complaint for repair, the customer executive told that i will get service in 48 hrs. It been more than a week now, but no one has come to provide the repair service.

                                        There was cooling problem in our fridge of LG make for which we lodged complaint with LG on 1 sep 13 since then they have changed the compressor charged us Rs 5000 took the fridge to their workshop for 5 days but the fridge is still not working instead of multiple mails to LG and complaints to their call centre. The last complaint no was RNA[protected] DT 23.9.13. PLEASE HELP.THANKS
