I am struggling with this problem for the last 12days. on 5th June, I lodged this complaint with the no RNA[protected].

Subsequently I followed up on this complaint every day but the problem was never rectified. I was told the issue was with the PCB functioning and this was, after repeated followups was done today 17.06.2013.

However, the technician collected the money and quickly went back but even after 6 hours the fridge just does not cool nor is anyone in the service center of any help .i spoke to nagesh and shrikant in the service center at [protected] and apart from mouthing the same inanitities, there is little help that was offered.

I am extremely fed up with the kind of service and rest assured, would think 100 times before buying or recommending an LG product to anyone.

Let me know how I can escalate this complaint as I need this to be taken very seriously.

    1. I have been raised a call on 31/06/2013 still now service man not reached my home.
    2. Service man assured we will come on 15/04/2013. Again no came till afternoon, so i called to customer care. They said your call has been cancel. please check with near by lg services center
    3. So I called them and asked the reason for cancel my call. They said simply sorry sir call was more than 14days, so we cancel. Please raise a new call, we will reached before today evening. Still now no response...!!!

    Where we go for this...!!! Please help on this...!!!

      I have given my phone to remove dust from its screen and also purchased new battery from lg service centre.When i got phone back with new battery it was discharged so i hardly used the battery for 2-3 minute.After returning home when i charged the battery and start using the handset touch screen was not working and next day when i go to service centre they said its not their fault and new touch screen will cost Rs1900.I have also given them Rs 400 earlier to remove dust from screen.

        I have purchased lg led lcd tv in april 2012, as warranty is upto 12 months and after warranty expired later a month in june the malfunction of motherboard/mainboard started.

        The tv doesn’t start at all. A horizontal bars appear on the screen.

        There is no fault of power supply in my home and also no physical damage of circuits inside the tv which was seen and tested by their lg technician itself.

        Now a question rises to me. Do lg programs their motherboard / mainboard to malfunction after the warranty period expires because no unusual thing can be seen inside the tv like electric shock, burnt etc.,

        Tv is physically good from outside and also on circuits. Problem is only due to the motherboard.

        I want this problem to be solved asap.

        If my lg led lcd tv motherboad / mainboard is not replaced for free of cost then

        I will not recommend anyone to buy lg appliances because of this reason. Instead i will publish my problem over social networking like facebook, twitter, youtube etc.. So that no one should prefer to buy lg appliances in future.

        I purchased lg led 32 inches tv in march 2014 and in October 2015 it's not working..after only 6 months of end of warranty period.I think it's a business strategy of LG.
        Next thing...I contacted LG customer care for help.They registered my request and (so called) engineer came to my home, checked product and found problem in MAIN BOARD of tv.He told me that LG will contact me to confirm the order and the price of main board.He charged 200/- rupees for visit and went.since that day it's 11th day nobody contacted me about my problem and the customer care says that I have to coordinate with the local service centre.And local service centre is not responding..even they do not take my calls.I have been charged 200/- rupees and no work done.LG cheats with customers..my request no.[protected].
        I think LG IS THE WORST customers.And I know that even after reading this comment they will not contact me. I have given the request number it is linked with my mobile number.
        I purchased lg led 32 inches tv in feb 2015 and in July 2016 it's not working..after only 6 months of end of warranty period.the LG engineer only 'looked' at the TV from out side and mentioned that the MAIN BOARD to be replaced.Now I am charged rs.6000(PCB)+575(Service) to replace this. looking at the above issues, I agree that its LG strategy to apply such faulty parts so that they can earn regularly from customer by replacing parts.

        I have purchage a 32"LED TV of LG Modle no 32LB530 on 18th Jan 2015 and on 31 July 2016 evening suddenly tv display is get black but tv sound have any disturbance. I was there and no any fluctuation notice in current.
        In next I have complaint to customer care and on my request service engineer came and visualize the problem. He told tv backlight pannel is not working it has to be replaced. And its cost Rs 12000 is chargeable. Tv initial cost is Rs 24000.
        Which I have lost in within 18 months only.

        I think LG is cheating to customer so its future is not good.
        And suggest to other don't purchage LG TV .

        I have purchased lg led lcd tv in april 2014, with extandable warranty is upto 24 months.
        Now the problem is a horizontal bars appear on the screen, Voice is not clear & there is problem in connecting the cable socket.

        There is no fault of power supply in my home and also no physical damage, Technician confirmed that Problem is only due to the motherboard.

        To replace the new motherboard the service center confirmed the cost is Rs:4, 200/- where as the same mother board is available in online for Rs:2500/-

        I will not recommend anyone to buy lg appliances because of this reason. Instead i will publish my problem over social networking like facebook, twitter, youtube etc.. So that no one should prefer to buy lg appliances in future.

        Exactly same happened to me today! Frustrated. Mine is just 18 months old and Motherboard is not working!
        I was charged 3000/-
        This company is worst than hell . I lost Rs. 75000/- by purchasing their 42 inch tv within 5 years. For the last four months I am without tv. The killed three months saying that mother board for this product has been ordered from Korea. But all hell. At the end nothing.

        I am running everywhere to get it repaired. But nothing . There is no one to listen to our irritation.

        I have purchased LG 32 inches smart LED TV 32LF595B for 35, 000 on May 2016. Now in June 2017 right next month after completion of warranty period it is not working. Display is showing LG logo and nothing else. On contacting customer care they visited our place and told that there was problem in the motherboard for which they charged Rs. 790. They told that motherboard will cost Rs. 4500 and will take 2-3 working days to get the part replaced. After 3 days we received a call from LG that the motherboard costs Rs. 7500.

        There is absolutely no problem in our Home electric supply system and all other appliances are running fine from years. There is no physical damage done to LED. The kind of service provided by you is really appalling and is sure to see your company turn to ruins. Cheating on customers and looting them will surely mar your repute and Customers like me will play active role in denegrating your image by word of mouth, posting on social media and so on.
        This company is worst than hell . I lost Rs. 105000/- by purchasing their 47 inch led tv within 5 years. For the last One months I am without tv. The killed 20days saying that mother board for this product has been discontinued from LG. But all hell. At the end my 1lakh is scrap.

        I purchased led TV model product code26LV2130_TD.ATRYLJL in2011.On one rainy day TV could not start due to some internal problem.After lodging complaint RNP[protected], the service operator informed me that mother board will have to be replaced and the cost would be Rs.8250 which covers 18%gst and 18% service charges.This is nothing but a loot by company.Though I have purchased various product of co.in the past have decided not to recommend lg product to anyone looking to costly after sales services.
        When most o[censored]s go to a shop to buy a TV, we look at the perceived brand of the company. While there are local assembled UHDTVs available in the market (Like VU, Micromax ) for one third the price of LG, Samsung, Sony etc. most o[censored]s still go ahead and buy the brand value. Why? Because we "TRUST" them with expectation that you'll have peace in your mind and no concerns post sales with the after sales service.

        Like many of you posting here...I am also a victim of this cheater company called LG Electronics India. In my opinion this should be the WORST OF ALL THE CONSUMER DURABLE COMPANY operating out of India. This have to be LG Electronics. Let me share my experience with them. I purchased a UHDTV 42UB820T sometime in Nov 2015.

        I never realized before the box was opened, that the warranty was just for 12 months. Imagine a TV with such high value and the company theoretically stands for you for just 12 months. Moreover the warranty conditions are ONE SIDED, you never get this information with the terms validated before you buy the product.

        While there are low end consumer durable items like mixer grinders that give you 2-3 years of warranty. My 16K Faber chimney gave me 12 YEARS warranty and even changed the motor on the 9th YEAR. So WTF with this dog eating company?

        Within 9 months after the so called "warranty period" my TV went blacked out. I raised a complaint RNP[protected]. The technician charged Rs.400 for the visit and assessed the mother board replacement. Again, we have to trust them. We do not know and validate if really it is the mother board or father board. He estimated a charge of like Rs.13, 100 (this works out to 20% of the original cost). Obviously like many of you, I was frustrated to the core.

        I escalated this issue to their service center and after speaking to 3 people, they finally directed me to one Mr. P.Das who introduced himself to me as "Area Service Manager". My foot how it matters to me you can be anything in your stupid company, I'm your paying customer. He listened to me and my frustration and he was so magnanimous to offer me 25% discount of the spare cost (works out to Rs.10, 000). I straight way rejected his offer.
        From that very moment I decided to teach this company a lesson of their life. They thought that will thrive on their malpractices in India taking advantage of our resilience. We pursue for some time and then accept the bitter pill. Many o[censored]s do not have the time and motivation to FIGHT these crooks.

        You can see how people are frustrated with LG India. Note: They deleted some of my recent posts that might have affected their business.
        I sent mails to their LG Communication SPOC, Ms. Neeta Lintz, sent mail to their Flat panel TV national head Mr. Anuj Ayodhyawasi. Subsequently yesterday (17/10/2017), I received a call from Mr. Shakeel Ahmed who introduced himself as LG service escalation manager from LG Noida office, he asked my perspective and I repeated myself once more about the one sided and irrational warranty period of 12 months for such a high value item, I explained why we go for a brand paying such a high price expecting that to work for at least 7-8 years, I also asked him if this is like buying a lottery that the TV may or may not work post the warranty period. He seem to be on my side while understanding my arguments and he promised to come back to me as the soonest.
        While I still await to hear back from Mr. Shakeel, and expect LGE to make good my TV with their responsibility. I can’t understand one thing, if they are customer friendly, why the hell they do not hold their spare vendors responsible instead of fleecing the customers, or is it their deliberate ploy and a crooked business model to fleece and blackmail the customers? I can’t believe a company can survive with defects to this extent. This is the reason why people still trust Japanese brands like SONY, PANASONIC. I’m convinced now that LG India have setup a business model to deliberately destroy a spare after 12 months and then fleece the customers for another 20%-50% of the cost. #Shame on LG India.
        Anyway, so what am I doing in parallel and going to do now?
        1) I discussed with a private legal practitioner and I’m convinced that their warranty clause in not tenable due to its one sided nature and there is no agreement of acceptance from my side. It doesn’t implied that you’re bound to the warranty clause when you buy since the clause isn’t disclosed to you before the purchase, else my purchase decision could have been different.
        2) Since my purchase was in Kolkata jurisdiction, I also submitted a complaint through their portal here https://wbconsumers.gov.in
        3) I also raised a complaint here: http://consumerhelpline.gov.in
        4) I have also written to the Deputy Secretary, Mrs. Sumita Dasgupta of National Consumer Affairs department http://consumeraffairs.nic.in appealing to regulate this huge consumer durable market and protect the consumers’ interest by putting a body like OMBUDSMAN to deal with cases like ours where the companies should declare MINIMUM USEFUL LIFE of the product and ensure they own that.
        5) Finally if in a reasonable time frame nothing works out for me, I have decided to sue this company. I really have nothing more to lose.

        I brought a new LG tv model number 55LW5700 on 19-5-11 from Vasanth & co chennai.my tv is not working for the past two months. I reported to customer care . They are saying main board has gone and it is not available. Kindly solve my problem

        I bought a LG Smart TV 32LF6300, 2.5 years back with standard warranty period of 1 year and extended warranty(purchased additionaly) of 1 year from Croma Chennai. Currently my TV is not working. Service man checked the TV and said that Mother board is the problem. How come the TV gets failuresmalfunctioning after warranty expires.
        Do the LG company produces very bad quality product and sells to the customers(Thinks us as fools).
        Service man is telling the part rates as double times than the rates mentioned in the online purchasers.
        They said Rs9000(parts+service+gst), but the same is available online sellers for around 5500Rs(parts only with GST).
        Bad quality products and more costs for the parts compared to other online sellers.
        I bought LG 49UH770 T ( 49 inck 4 K TV ) with extended warranty of 24 months, which is still into effect.
        I had some wi-fi connectivity issue. I had asked LG to send their Technician. They sent one of their authorised service dealer who has charged me Rs 16, 250 .00 for the mother board citing the issue with the Mother board.
        Also, charged me extra Rs 1000 ( for visit charges ), Rs 400 ( labur ), Rs .500 ( Transport ).
        I am surprised with LG warranty does not cover Mother boards, as the warranty is on all defective and malfunctioning parts.
        Very dissapointed with LG fake Warranty. and suggest be very careful while buying LG products.
        Looking at this thread looks like I am a new victim. My LG 42 in LED just blanked out on me and customer care has set up a technician visit.           This is to bring in your kind notice that I (Vikas Kumar) am a Customer of LG India Pvt. Ltd. I had purchased a T.V. of Model 21FDSWSEBT and Serial no 702NLLG008640 Under A.M.C. My T.V. had got some issue due to which it was not working properly, I had complained about it to LG India Pvt. Ltd. But employees of the company do not take care of it. I had submitted my TV to the workshop of LG India Service Centre on 14/4/13 and I had talked to the customer care several times but all in Vain they are saying that your TV cannot be repaired and you can have 2000Rs for it. I really admire LG India Pvt. Ltd. products, but this time the behavior of the employs of the company hurt me a lot. In future it would not be possible for me and my friends or relatives to purchase any product of the company.
          So you are kindly requested to take necessary action about the same or I would be bound to take legal action against the same.

          LG — TV Not repaired

          Picture of LG plasma TV not visible. Complaint lodged on 18th dec2009. Service engineer visited on 19th and said would be repaired within 2/3 days. No word from LG after that. It is now 18 days. Calls to the call centre are of no use.

          L.G.INDIA — TV NOT REPAIRED

          I had purchased a TV in Dubai and had also paid customs duties for the same. and had entered into a contract with LG India for the same vide service contract number KE 19709 valid from 14/7/2010 to 13/7/2013.

          I registered a complaint OYN10C9030085 on the 3rd of September 2010 and the LG engineers had attended to the same and said that they were awaiting the spare parts. After two days they said that the spare parts for this model were not available and they would give a replacement.

          .After a week they told me that they wanted the original invoice which I provided along with duty receipts from the customs officials and then they said that I had to send them the warranty card. I informed them that the warranty was over and as it was under a service contract all I wanted was my T.V fixed. I also explained in the U.A.E we produce the bills for the warranty and in any case I have given them a copy of the warranty card.

          .One of the LG engineers Mr.Thiagarajan called me and told me that they would refund the service contract amount collected and I said this was not correct as they have accepted the contract and even serviced the T.V last year under contract.

          My TV is yet to be repaired inspite of complaints and request your help.

            I have purchased flat in Pune, new sanghavi. And imediatly on 20th day, my ornament gets stollen. So did FIR in police station and sefty door to my mai door and grill to balcony. But completion letter to building is yet to happen. So is it going to create problem in completion letter to building. actually its just grill not cement constuction. So please advice...

                I have bought one LG mobile (optimus g) IMEI No. [protected] on 8th March 2013.While purchasing I have convey the msg that Phone Has gorilla glasses so scratches are not coming in Phone Glass but within the month I have face the problem of scratches on front side of the mobile. I have made the complain regarding this and someone has guide me that you should visit our customer care service center you might be get the solution from there.
                Today i.e[protected] I have visited your service center noida sector 63 regarding this and I have socked no body is ready to solve my problem especially Mr. Pawan Once I will try to meet senior person Mr. Sameer , again he is not ready to meet me and try to solve my problem.
                I am using other gurilla glass's phone and I am satisfy with those performance .
                I think it's my big mistek to use LG Mobile who are not present in the market or face there competitors.
                Phone have manufacturing defect and important thing is that you guys are not ready to accept it. All the time your service center executive told me that sir this is not Manufacturing defect. I let you inform that MG optimus G has been hiting up while playing any game within 30 min. Now I facing a new problem in moblie that is cracking of back cover.
                I want a proper solution.

                LG phone — Worst Service Provider

                A brand new LG GW620 was just 28 days old, which has several issues like, it shows Full network but no incoming calls, in the Android market none of the applications or files were downloading not even a single KB files. After reaching out to Rajajinagar LG service center, the technician was not even familiar with an android Phones, for the first time he did not understand what is android market is, after a practical explanation. without even analyzing strait away the on spot recommendation is to replace a motherboard of the Phone. [ which is some thing like if the Windows word document is not working need to change the Mother board of the computer]. However after an improper explanation about the cause of the issue, replaced the Phone mother board. Their after another major issue started in which Camera stopped working. then they realized there is a serious problem in that model. as they said they sent out an email to higher management team of LG and made me to wait for more than 7 days. then after a lot of pressure they bought a similar model for testing purpose and that turned out to be working fine. then they started forcing me to take that testing phone as a replacement without a proper bill.
                as per them, the service center receipt will work as a warranty document. [ which is like if you buy a TV from a showroom and go back with not working condition and they will ask to take the one which is on display playing good]. My expectation through this is to take an action on the service center which are miss leading the customers and forcing for an improper alternative solution when they fail to fix the problem. Hope this will impact as a genuine consumer complaint addressing forum.

                LD CDMA Mobile — Service Centre Lost Handset

                Dear Sir,

                In the mid of May 2011, I had given my LG CDMA mobile for repairing to Vashi service centre. The team was incapable of resolving my handset problem and made me change its battery and even motherboard. Still the issue existed. Then on 1st June 2011, they again kept my mobile saying they will call me back with the resolution. But they didnt...I called them up many times and even went up to their service centre and they misguided me saying come after sometime and they will call back which never happened.

                Then when i fired them, they told the truth they said they lost my mobile in shifting. This is really ridiculous and highly irreponsible of a renowned brand of India. They promised to get me a new handset but as usual that too never happened.

                Then again i raised a complaint online at LG website. Some people are trying to help me out with the issue but still its stuck as the store manager of Vashi is making excuses and hiding now by not attending my calls or even the coordinators.                   Warranty: (5 years - compressor)

                  First Complaint date: November 6, 2012 for compressor fault. Complaint number:[protected]. LG replaced the compressor

                  Second Complaint date (in less than 6 months of the new compressor): March 6, 2013. Complaint number[protected]. No response from LG

                  Third Complaint date: March 21, 2013. Complaint number[protected] LG changed compressor yet again.

                  Fourth complaint date: May 3,2013 (in less than 3 months of the new compressor). Complaint number[protected]. No response from LG

                  Fifth Complaint date: May 9,2013 - Complaint number[protected]

                  In a little more than a year my compressor has been spoilt thrice and replaced twice.

                  This is highly annoying as my staff's work is affected.

                  we purchased 2 LG split ac's 1.5 and 2 tons.we got them installed by lg only for which we paid a hefty amount.Those people were too much in a hurry to install them properly and the gas and oil of one of them leaked within two days.LG assured us of replacing the outdoor piece quickly but more than 12 days have passed n we r suffering everyday in this heat after spending more than 70, 000/-Rs. please tell us whether we should file a complaint in consumer forum.

                  By mistake I have purchased LG AC 1Ton on 24th of January 2009. Since first day there were issues with the product. Many LG service engineer visited and unable to resolve the issues. I have sent mail to LG Reginal manager and Head for Thane region.                     LG — Faulty compressor

                    Dear Sir,
                    I had purchased a new 320 Lit referigerator of LG in April 2010. The compressor of this fridge got bad within 2 years of purchase, on 29 Jun 2012. We lodged complaint on the same day vide complaint no : RNA[protected] at the customer care. We were assured that the issue will be resolved with 24 hrs. But I am extremely harassed by the company officials and angry to say that the service back up of LG is very very poor. All their claims for replacement of the compressor went false. Despite chasing every day at least 3 -4 times, The service engineers keep on telling that it will be replaced today (every day), but till date (7th Jul), there is no sign of the engineer. The company is very very poor in service back up. They do not have any spares, no good people who understand the plight of consumers, I recommend that no one should buy LG products as they give false promises on every occasion. The organisation should be sued to such harrassment to consumer.

                      I have purchased a mobile Model LG E615, Set serial number. 209kphg074961 with purchase date 28/12/2012.

                      I went to LG store on 15/5/2013 in Image service,chotti baradari, patiala, Contact number of agency.[protected] and [protected] for lodging a complaint of my mobile as i faced problems in hearing the caller's voice,battery problem and the phone use to gets hot while charging. The complaints were informed to the executive who attended me and he gave me 10 days time for resolving the problem. Today when i called him after 10 days he informed that he has not send my phone for the service and has kept my phone in his center. He also told me that he used my phone to check it and without sending it to the service center he declared that the phone is working properly.

                      The crux of all the email is
                      1) Why had he kept my phone for 10 days in his service center?
                      2) If he had not send it to service center then he should have called me and returned my mobile!!
                      3) Without my permission he has used my phone for 10 days and he himself declared that the phone is working correctly.

                      I request you to register a complaint against the whole matter and provide me resolution for this. I am till facing the above mentioned problems

                      Can any one from the LG management look into this and get my complaint attended immediately. I am sorry to say, I never expected this kind of attitude from LG, being a reputed company. The way you treat your customer is not at all accepted.

                        With the help of Bajaj finance I just about managed to buy an LG refrigerator, model no ; LG GL-408YSQG4, delivery was done on 28/11/12.
                        I was shocked to find that it just stopped cooling today barely 6 months after purchase.
                        I ordered it at e-zone and tried calling the Malad showroom at Infinity mall , but it just kept ringing for hours. Called the e zone call centre who assured me that the store would call me in 2 hrs but they did not call. The fridge is stacked and in this weather all the perishables will have to be binned. I am so badly inconvenienced.....please help. Thank you.

                          I am a resident of delhi...n i own an LG air conditioner..purchased two years back. My AC has not been working properly since last week..n i called LG customer care for the same.I was shocked at the poor service provided by them.For four conscecutive days, some or the other executive kept telling me they would contact me within 24 hrs, n nobody called. Then after i lost my patience with themthey gave me the local area customer care number..who didn pick up the phone for a day..n then gave me various numbers of repair technicians none of who had any idea that they were suppposed to look into my complaint. Till now no one has come for looking into the complaint and m kind of too frustrated too run after them anymore...i would suggest them to shut down this customer care service rather than frustrate their customers by it.

                            I HAVE BOUGHT THE LG REFRIGERATOR FROM MAHAVEER ELECTRONICS AT BELGUAM ON 25/03/2012 WITH MODEL NO 258VE4CVBZEAN AND THIS IS GIVING TROUBLE SINCE 20/03/2013 AND LG REPRESENTATIVE HAVE VISITED THE 4 TIMES AND CHANGED THE TIMER AND INSTRUMENT CALLED SWITH BUT AFTER 5 DAYS THIS HAS BEGAN GIVING TROUBLE THAT THIS FRIDGE WILL NOT GIVE THE COOLING EFFECT AND MAKING LOUD NOISE AND AGAIN I COMPLAINED ON 24/05/2013 AND THEY ARE TELLING THAT THEY WILL BE SENDING THE SENIOR TECHNICIAN ,

                              LG has the worst customer service and it might not be because of the people attending the call!! My AC is down and i was told that the motherboard and display board had to be replaced. and was told that the part will be available in a day or 2. Its been 10 days and no one knows when the part will arrive!!! In fact, they say that the part has to come from Korea!! and they have no idea when the part will arrive!!!

                              So no more LG products for me. I am going for Indian made products who parts are available and built within the country...

                              Its a lesson learnt hard way!! Never trust something that has no good maintenance. At least with Indian products i am can be sure the parts are available in india!!

                              I am sure no one cares if you lose a customer....

                              LG AC — Even my newspaper boy provides better service than LG

                              Hello,

                              There is big disconnect between LG dealer promises and delivery of the LG service centeres.

                              If you have to lean how to make excuses than LG is the best palce. Some examples
                              1. Morining mai busy hai. Aaj Sunday hai na.
                              2. Technichian aaj nahi aya. Aaj Sunday hai na.
                              3. Technichian kaam nahi ker paya load shading hai na.
                              4. Kal morning mai 7 am bhej deta hoon.
                              5. Sir morning kaise ayenga. I stay at Dilshuknagar.
                              6. Evening mai gas connection check nahi ker sakte hai. Baki kaam kal karenge.
                              7. Aap ka service request log late hua sir.
                              8. LG comes into picture only when we get service request.
                              9. Sunday jayada kaam tha, aaj 11 am tak bheja deta sir.
                              10. (at 11 am on phone) Sir, what time should i send my people for installation. Aap abhi tak ghar per hain.
                              11. Aap ka electrician ka kaam baki hai na sir. (As if this his work is pending because of electician)

                              With all of above execuses and passing the buck to each other i think it's not worth buying product from LG.
                              I have a lot of LG products in my house like AC's, LCD television etc. Although their performance is good, but I am sorry, I cannot say the same thing about their after sales service.

                              I am having some problem with my window AC and had lodged a complaint with their complaint registration center on phone. I lodged the complaint on 07/04/2009 (No. N9C[protected]. Somebody from the local service center came to my house the next day to have a look at the problem . He said that it is a problem of the thermostat and then on the next day, he said it is a problem with the installation(gap between the side of the AC and the wall). This happened on 09/04/09. Post this event, nobody attended to the problem inspite of my repeated reminders to the complaint registration center. Two days back, I managed to get the number of the local service center and requested him to send somebody to have a look at the problem.
                              He did send somebody but after 15 days of rigorous follow-up, the problem still remains unresolved. (If the installation guy is there then the service engineer is not or vice versa.)

                              I tried to contact your regional office(Ranchi), several times over the past few days, but nobody picks up the phone. The phone number of the customer service department([protected]) given on the site is also useless. Nobody picks up the phone there also.


                              Seeing this kind of a service, I am now very apprehensive of buying any other LG product.

                              Hope to see a more favourable and agile service team.
                              Very true, the after sales service is pathetic for LG. I have LG split AC. it had developed some cooling problem.
                              I called the toll free no and was told that a technician will visit the next day. but to my utter dismay nobody turned up for almost a week.
                              I had to make several calls to the customer care. the technician came after a week and inspected it.
                              he said it needs to be collected from you and will be collected the next day.
                              I had to make several calls to get it collected from me. it took another 4 days.

                              pathetic service LG.

                              LG — Worst Customer Service

                              LG is one of the worst brand that any body could think of buying. Because the after sales service is pathetic and this is not the right word to describe the quality of service and the SLA they maintain with the customer. We logged a complaint as our window AC was not functioning on the 26 May 2010 at 1.00 P.M. I have done a followup more 7 times. Today(31 May 2010)only i have called the service center 5 times. Some of the Customer care executives to whom i spoke was
                              Keru
                              Shrinath
                              Prema
                              and a TL(not sure of his name)
                              Note: Not sure if the above names are the real names, more possibilities of being fake.

                              A service engineer visited my house on the 27th May 2010 and told that there is chip or a board problem and that it has to get replaced, he commited that it would get done within 2 days. 4 days have passed and no response. When enquired the customer car representative claims that there was no response from the customer, which is a blunt lie. i would want see the itemized bill of that service engineer to chk whether our contact nos were dialled.

                              Im taking this issue as a serious concern as it has involved both physically and mental stress to entire family. I would definetely take this case to the consumer court.

                              My strong recommandations to all is please do not buy any LG PRODUCT.

                              LG AC — Poor service

                              LG People are the worst and the complete process are just for nothing.

                              People keep on calling on the AC Status and everytime I had give my feedback which remains with them with no action / feedback.

                              I complained strongly but seems LG is least bothered about there customers......

                              Reaching to right people is again a major task and no one is concern. Below mail send to them long back with no action.

                              Company like LG should be totally banned in India the way they are supporting customers.

                              This is with reference to LG AC complaint........

                              Till date, this summer I am not able to use the AC.....courtesy LG Support.

                              It real pathetic the way LG support is giving service to there customer.
                              Even the concern person i.e. owner of the service center "Mr. Neerag" don't how to talk to there customer.
                              He put me hold for more than 25 minutes and later handed over the phone to his employee to pass me the message that we can't give the service unit...........after promising me for 6 times earlier that it will be sent next day.

                              Initially they kept the AC for more than 10 days with them and after that more faults were added rather rectifying the actual issue:
                              - AC not cooling......actual complaint
                              - front panel not working
                              - fan speed not working

                              The worst part is wrong commitments..........people working with this service center are totally work on false commitments.

                              I am forced to go to "consumer court" with all relevant complaint numbers and other details with me.

                              The service center is giving bad name to LG support and should immediately be banned.

                              I have lost all the confidence in LG and will never advise anyone to go for LG products.

                              I am a senior doctor (professorial level) and medical teacher. Presently, I am serving in the globally recognized, prestigious institution of Allama I bal Medical College-Jinnah Hospital complex Lahore ,Pakistan. I bought split air conditioners (A/Cs) of LG company because of’’ respect’ and recognition of LG and PEL at international level. It was common perception that both the companies treat their customers/clients with respect.

                              I feel sorry to state that I have experienced non-cooperation and ‘disrespect to customer’ so far.
                              Detail is as given below;
                              1)PEL complaint no:042583;work order ref.04107;date, 9.9.2009;paid Rs.400.

                              I had to request a large no of members of top level administration of both the companies at national and international level to solve the petty/routine issue or problem with my A/Cs. Me and my family had to suffer due to scorching heat of hot weather for a long time. Thanks to big wigs!

                              2) PEL complaint no; 15721; work order ref.nil; date, 14.4.2010; paid Rs.2100
                              3) PEL complaint no; 15722; work order ref, 11574; date, 14.4.2010; paid Rs.1500

                              After a lot of ‘struggle’, the complaints were attended. Despite spending lot of money, the problems with my A/Cs persisted. The competence and skill was not impressive.

                              4) PEL complaint no; 28825; work order ref.3819; date; 7.9.2010; paid Rs.400
                              5) PEL complaint no; 28826; date, 7.9.2010; work order ref.3818; paid Rs.400
                              These complaints (4& 5) are, still, lying unattended even after a long time (more than six months)

                              No body in PEL and /or LG bothers to attend calls/requests and there seems no monitoring regarding ‘quality /level’ of work performed by technicians.(ref; PEL complaint 2 & 3)
                              Keeping in view the previous bitter experience (ref; PELcomplaint, 1, 2, 3)I can imagine, it would be hard for me to teach medicals students, treat the patients and live comfortably/respectfully with my family in this summer.
                              Please show positive concern. Prompt, positive response is requested and expected.

                              LG — AC under AMC not getting Service

                              There is gas leakage issue in my AC since 12 June 2012.
                              Since Last 3 weeks I am struggling to get GAS filled in AC.
                              Unfortunately my AC is under AMC , may be this is major Issue I am not getting any service for LG.
                              I am constant touch in Mr Sameer Dhiman which picks up call after every 500 Missed calls. Since last Many days My only task is to call LG persons but nobody has manner to pick call be it Sameer Dhiman, Pooja Mathur , Gaurav or even a mechanic or driver in LG all are trained in same way.
                              I have never seen such a poor call center of a company , which do not have any answer other then "we will arrange a call back within 24 hours" even that don’t come never.
                              Since Last three days in evening Mr Sameer sends me a SMS that AC will be delivered tomorrow. Compliant number is RNA[protected].
                              I hope I will get my AC after your intervention, but I sincerely make a request you to get LG service improved , Since Last 3 weeks I am only making calls to LG. and never experienced such a worst service even from a local shop.
                              AC came to my home for delivery, It was really shocking that again AC was delivered without changing coil, as it was case of gas leakage with in 5 days so everybody ( who are in TO and CC) said that certainly coil will be changed.

                              Now as AC has old coil, Please make sure coil get replaced in next 2 days or I need my AMC money back, I will be really happy to not to use such a pathetic service like LG .

                              After 2 days if I did not get service engineer at my home to replace coil i will go to consumer court for harassment done by LG.

                              Also have a look .. Since 11June no response from LG on this thread.

                                I bought a new LG Regrigerator from Vijay Sales Indrapuram and It was delivered to me in defective state there was no cooling in the fridge even after I kept the fridge on for the whole day.
                                LG Engineer came he checked the fridge and told me that the gas needs to be refilled. I called LG customer support and asked them to replace the Defective piece but they are saying they can't replace the defective piece they can only repair the defective piece.

                                LG Fridge — delivery of defective fridge

                                i bought a fridge from dignity electronics hyderabad on 06 Apr 09.The fridge is not working from day one and no one is responding even after lodging complaints atleast ten times and i am fade up with this and request to please replace that fridge or refund my money.

                                LG Fridge — Defective fridge given

                                i purchased a LG fridge on the 9th of April from Croma store in indraprasatha, sony world signal. The fridge given to me was defective. I got the delivery on 10th April and on the same day when we started the fridge, it wasn't cooling. I lodged a complaint with LG customer care on the very day requesting for replacement . My complaint number is - rna[protected]Roshmi Dutta) .
                                However there wasn't any response from LG. I even tried contacting croma but it wasn't of any use. When a person had come for demo, that time itself i informed him that my fridge isn't working and requested for replacement. I have been pleading croma and LG for help, but no use!! This is NOT the way to treat customers.
                                Helplessly i had to visit the croma store on 17th april and requested for the replacement. I was informed by the store manager that this issue will be escalated to the supervisor and a replacement will be done within 48hrs.I was provided an email id where i should be contacting the supervisor detailing about my complaints but unexpectedly the email id i.e kormangala-23innerringrd.[protected]@cromaretail.com was incorrect! The contact no. Of the store is also incorrect. I have been CHEATED by croma! Everytime its not possible to miss my office and run to the store. I still haven't got my replacement and now the store is asking for another one week! I am highly disappointed with the disgusting service provided by Croma and LG. I need my money back so that I can purchase a fridge and I NEVER again want a crom product! Horrible service! The technician who was send to my place did not even behave well with me. He just informed that fridge isn't working and needs replacement without guiding me further.Â

                                  On 14th May 2013, I had given my LG P690 mobile phone for repair as the touch pad was not working properly and my phone was continuously getting hanged. I had given it to your Vashi Service center.

                                  I was asked to collect the phone on the 17th May 13 from the service center. Unfortunately, your Service Center has not stuck to their words because I have not yet received my mobile. When I enquired on 17th May I was asked to come today on 20th May. And today when I am checking with the service center on the status of the mobile I am asked to wait for 5 more days as they do not have the display in stock.

                                  I am very disappointed because nobody is ready to give me a proper answer. When I called your customer care they tell me that it is an old model so the spare parts are not available. But to let you know for your information when I had given my phone for repair it was still under warranty. So how can your people say that a one year old model is old and not in service now.

                                  Your customer care also informs me that they cannot do anything and I should connect with the service center, but whenever I call the service center the lines are busy. At the end I have to go every time to the service center to enquire about my phone.

                                  To resolve the problem, I would appreciate if you could see to it that my phone gets repaired at the soonest and in proper way.

                                  LG India — Pathetic services from LG

                                  I placed a call on 14/04/12 for my window A/C servicing (Under Valid AMC). LG representative inspected the A/C on 17/4/2012 and informed that A/C will be picked for servicing in next 2/3 day. As A/C was not picked up even after one month I placed a second call on 21/05/12 and same service representative inspected the A/C and informed it will be picked up by next 2days max. on 25/05/12 LG representative picked up this A/C but till date this A/C was not returned back and no update from LG.
                                  This is very unfortunate and unacceptable that a company like LG took more than 45days fix the issue of a window A/C (LG's own Product)? Not sure how LG using “ Happy Living Plan” slogan ?
                                  If LG is not able to provide service why they collecting money against AMC.

                                  They should refund the amount collected toward AMC & should return the A/C immediately so that I can get it repaired
                                  by some local A/C repair centre.

                                    RECEIVED DEFECTIVE REFRIGERATOR FROM LG DISTRIBUTOR, HE IS TELLING FREEZE WILL BE CHANGED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BUT IT IS MORE THAN ONE MONTH ITEM HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED BY THE YOUR DEALER HAS SEND ONE FREEZE WHICH IS ALSO DEFECTIVE. I COME TO THE CONCLUSION LG PRODUCTS ARE NOT GOOD AND QUALITY IS POOR THAN OTHER COMPANY.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I have purchased LG semi automatic washing machine model No WP15125SD from Pranav electronic [LG Best Shop, SG Road, Ahmedabad] on 25/06/2011.

                                      Within six months of purchase, we encounter some problem in machine, which resulted in damaging of our cloths. I started making complain about this to LG customer care. Approximately 10 complain I have made for the same problem.

                                      In the month of Nov-12 they took the machine to workshop for repairing and kept it for five days but the problem was not resolved.

                                      Second time they took the machine in Feb 2013 and kept it for a week. This time Mr. Parthiv gave assurance that this time if the problem is not resolved then they will replace the machine or refund the entire amount. All the engineers who visited gave different opinion about this problem. Still the problem is there. I tried contact Mr. Pradeep [M.[protected]] Mr. Parthiv [[protected]] and Mr. Krupashankar Tripathi [M. [protected]] [LG workshop Ahmedabad] about this but they were neither giving any response nor picking up my phones. After all these efforts made by your engineer still problem persist. Because of this problem around 10 different cloths are damaged.

                                      Following are few recent complain no which I have made for this problem.

                                      RNA[protected] on dt. 29.11.12
                                      RNA[protected] on dt. 30.12.12
                                      RNA[protected] on dt. 13.02.13
                                      RNA[protected] on dt 11.05.13

                                      LG Life’s better you are making our life miserable.

                                      I sincerely request you to address this issue at the earliest otherwise I may have to take legal action for this matter.
