On 12th of March 2012, I purchased an LG microwave. Within four months, it stopped working and being under warranty, it was serviced. Again two months later, it stopped working and we had to get it serviced. In March 2013, it stopped working again just before the warranty expired. At the time of registering my complaint with LG customer care, I told them that clearly this was a defective appliance since no brand new appliance needs three servicings in just the first year. The technician who came to service it the third time, advised us to take a four-year service contract. I'm sure he too must have realised that this is a defective piece and would break down often. My mother-in-law got convinced by his sales pitch and paid for a four year service contract. After March 2013, the microwave has stopped working three more times. In May (complaint no RNA[protected] on 6th May. No action was taken by LG so I waited and complained again on May 25th, complaint no RNA[protected] the microwave was finally serviced on May 30th only to stop working in July (complaint no RNA[protected] on July 5th). This time, the LG team took 12 days to get the microwave operational again on July 17th only to have it stop working within a month! My latest complaint was made on 17th of August, complaint no RNA[protected]. Yes, it stopped working a month after it was serviced for the 5th time!! Each time that I have complained, some spare or the other has been replaced in the microwave (mostly its been the magnetron). It is very clear to the technicians and LG company that the microwave is faulty. No other appliance gives so much problem in 17 months. Each time the microwave stops working, I have to call the customer care to register the complaint and to follow up on when the technician will come to service it and it is truly a huge hassle and nuisance. Why can't LG replace the faulty microwave and save me and my family this headache of having a microwave out of order for almost 15 days in a month?

    Complaint number: RNA[protected] Product feature not working.

    I have recently bought LG 42LN5710, technician who had installed TV as well as LG product representative has given false information about live channel recording. Both of them informed that whatever the live channel displaying in TV can be recorded if the source of signal is connected to RF/AV pins.

    I have Airtel normal STB which has been connected to AV pins but not able to record live program. Error it appears as "Non Recordable frequency signal".

    Once again I wanted same technician to visit my place to check the problem, but the person says, it records only "Local Cable network, not DTH service providers."

    What is the use in buying 42 inch tv to watch from local cable and not have one of the major feature "Recording" not applicable for DTH.

    One of LG technician had come few days later to my place and given information that Live channel recording is not possible only with Airtel DTH after registering the complaint. If this was a know fact, then it was not informed by LG representative or the LG technician earlier? Or it is no where informed in your website product details/technical specification/Manual/any documentation?

      Microwave Control Panle Switch Problem was Reported to LG customer care .
      Complaint No: RNA[protected]
      No service rendered except having a look at the Microwave and noting down the model no by the service representative who came down after 5 days.
      No response from him after that, till I called to customer care after an week.
      Complaint Status was not available with CC and they directed me to LG service centre.
      On my insistance they provided contacts of their CCO and ASM. Both contacts are of no use as the former no was in switch-off mode and not reachable. The later was always in meeting and redirected to one of hid subordinate and he in turn to the service centre.
      Contacting the service centre, they said some one wil come and have a detailed look at the problem, but that neve happened. On enquiry with the status of the complaint registered, it was found to bw closed with reason being PART NOT AVAILABLE.
      This is how the young technical service enginerrs at LG work. They are only for replcement and not for repair. They donot intend to do the hard work and only looking forward to quick easy options of selling and replacing with no repair.
      So my high end Microwave model purchased few years back seems to have been discontinued nad no support or service available for the same by LG.
      Its clear that all LG products have a very short life span and likely to be faulty and useless after a short period o[censored]sage.
      Quite disappointed with LG service.

      LG microwave service — service

      Hi,

      This is to complain regarding the poor LG customer service which i am facing. I have raised service request for the repair of my LG microwave on 15tH jan 2010 the service request no is SAC11500494 and the customer care officer told to me that the complaint will be attended with in 24hrs.Even after 48hrs and around 20 calls to the LG customer care center nothing seems to be working out for me. Please help me with his.

      Extremely bad service. It is the worst service provider in Kolkata. please do not buy anything from this store. Even the manager of the customer service Mr. Wasim never holds his cell when we call him after repeatedly bad service and he behaves so badly in case he holds the phone if we call from his unknown number. I think he is not right person for this type of reputed company like Reliance. I request to the head of the the reliance Digital to replace this guy with a decent guy.

      LG — heavy water leakage from wash tub

      20 days ago complaint of "heavy water leakage from wash tub" was registered at M/S 'Lotus, Indore'. The complaint was attended by company personals. But after 15-20 days the problem repeated & the washing machine is unusable.

      i had purchase L.G 0.75 ton window ac from VIJAY SALES on[protected].it was stateds that they will provide me with 3 free service .
      but after installing the ac no engineer came on the side to check it out if installation is done as per norms.when we ask to fill up the gaurantee card they said some one will visit and fill the card.but till date nobody has come to do that.
      now we have been after them for quite a long time to do the service but all in vain the response is that the engineer will come and do the needfull,now we are unable to enjoy the cool temparature as the cooling is not their att all
      so i will request you to the needfull.

      Reliance sucks ... the most disgusting company ever . . . They have been fooling the indian public from a long time. . .
      But hey, we are the modern generation of india, and we know which products are good for us and which are not .
      Why go for Reliance Big Tv, when we can get Tata Sky or Airtel, , they may be expensive but atleast they dont fool the public, like reliance did when they first launched their mobile phones, with a sceme- (get reliance mobiles for Rs.500 around[protected], and on the other hand the reliance postpaid users were complaing that reliance were making up false bills and charging the customers big time.
      ... even now after so many years, they still suck. One of my friend was using Reliance Wireless Internet, and i saw that the download speed is way too slow, like around 6kbps ... and on the tv, they are throwing ads that they are the fastest net providers ... huh ... i mean even a tortoise can crawl faster than that download progress bar of reliance haha.

      LG / Microwave — No service

      I have LG microwave convection model which is not working for past 10 days. i have registered complaints for the same first 10 days back and again 4 days back with a promise that their executive will communicate with me in 24 hours. however to date there is no call. while registering the complaint second time they told my complaint was cancelled due to "no answer on my mobile number"! my phone has been working fine, and i don't remember of having missed a call which i didn't call back though. and even if that happened my land line number is also taken for the complaint and i can always be contacted again in next 24 hours on mobile. it is possible that some one is occupied and can not take a call once in a while but that doesn't mean you cancel the complaints without adequate try!! And surely that doesn't happen twice!

      LG — No service even after complaint

      We have one 1.5 T Split Airconditioner of LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. We had taken Annual Maintenance Contract from them on 16/03/2011 by their document no. HLP No.: KF15883. We paid Rs.2206.00 for the AMC.

      We made a complain on 3rd May'2011 to LG India that our air conditioner is not cooling even when it is set at 18 centigrade. The docket no. is RNA[protected] dt 03/05/2011. Their person came on 4th may and after checking said that gas is not their and that is why AC is not cooling. So they will come again put gas on it. After that seven days has passed and no one came from LG service center. We had called three times since 6th May'2011 to LG toll free number and we get the same answer that the work in under process.

      LG has the worst service in Consumer durable.

      I want that action is taken against them as my office do not have any window and we are working in hot weather without air conditioner.

        Sir,
        We have been using the above mentioned washing machine for around two years.Suddenly,last week,the Start/Pause button stopped functioning. We registered a complaint vide RNA[protected] which was attended to by your technician on 05/08/2013.The problem was rectified and the Start/Pause button started functioning again.We were given Invoice No.8703 in lieu of payment of Rs.394.00. Your technician insisted that we join the AMC scheme on payment of Rs.5000 which we refused.The Washing Machine was functioning well till 11.08.13 when once again the Start/Pause button stopped functioning and we lodged a complaint vide RNA[protected] which was attended on 12.8.13 by your technicial.He informed that the PCB is detective and needs to be replaced which would cost around Rs.3000. Moreover, when the Washing Machine was switched on after your technician left, it was seen that none of the lights were glowing on the PCB though earlier all the lights were visible and only the Start/Pause button was not functioning.
        It appears that your technicians deliberately made the Washing Machine non-functional so as force us to change the PCB/enter into AMC of Rs.5000.
        I would request you to kindly look into the matter immediately failing which we will move the consumer forum for deficiency of service and willfully causing loss to us. We are also very much disappointed with your product breaking down just after the warranty period and would not patronize LG products in future.

          I have written many grievances to all departments including your LG office too related to my grievance but DC north and land & Building department has not been taken any action with regards to my grievance.
          The Concern officer are not only working illegally but also insulting the Supreme court judgment pronouns by 5 judges Constitution bench special set up for sec 6 of land acquisition act and also to Parliament, who has been given power to make law and ignoring the report of Law commission. Even Constitution Bench of five learned Judges in Padmasundara Rao’s case “fixing another period of one year from the date of judgment for making the section 6 declaration, would amount to legislation by judicial fiat. The Supreme Court observed that courts can only interpret the law and cannot legislate and that if a provision of law is misused or subjected to abuse of process of law, it would be for the legislature to amend, modify or repeal the law. Supreme Court is working within in its position,(attached the file with this email) Hon'ble Lokayukta Justice Manmohan sarin in case C-1373/LOK/2012 said "They (public servant) have to remember that while in office,they are to serve the public and not to rule them".
          Land and building delhi issued time barred(lapsed) notification u/s 6 of land acquisition act on the land of our colony situated on the land of village pansali delhi.The Supreme Court of INDIA in the case deep vihar welfare society vs LG govt of NCT delhi(appeal civil 3003/2012) on 21 march 2012, cancelled the notification of Sec 17 (urgency clause) of land acquisition act. Without considering our objection filed u/s 5-A sec 6 has been issued that too after expire of the time period specified under the act(one year) Sec 6 of land acquisition act “After receipt of objections, the concerned authority shall consider those objections, and if found unsatisfactory, then a final declaration rejecting the claims will be issued. Section 6 of the amended Act provides that the final declaration shall be issued by the authority within a period of one year from the date of issuance of preliminary notification under section 4(1) of the Act”. Explanation 1.- In computing any of the periods referred to in the first proviso, the period during which any action or proceeding to be taken in pursuance of the notification issued under section 4, sub- section (1), is stayed by an order of a Court shall be excluded.In our case Notification u/s 4 No F.10(29)96/LB/LA 11394 issued on 27/10/1999 and notification u/s 6 No F.10(29)96/LB/LA/19599 issued on 20/03/2013,(published in newspaper on 27/03/2013) even if case period excluded still the notification us/6 No F.10(29)96/LB/LA/19599 issued on 20/03/2013 is time barred invalid, void. Law commission of INDIA in his report D.O.NO.6(3)(78)/2002-LC(LS) dt 09 may2002 clarified the time period and said(page 4 line 10 of the report) "fixing another period of one year from the date of judgment for making the section 6 declaration, would amount to legislation by judicial fiat. The Supreme Court Padamsundara Rao v. State of Tamil Nadu JT 2002 (3)SC 1 delivered on 13.3.2002, observed that courts can only interpret the law and cannot legislate and that if a provision of law is misused or subjected to abuse of process of law, it would be for the legislature to amend, modify or repeal the law.Constitution Bench of five learned Judges in Padmasundara Rao’s case. In that case, the learned Judges have recently held that once a sec. 6 declaration was quashed or set aside, if the period of one year had expired by the date of judgment of court,then the Court could not under its judicial power, provide a fresh period of one year from the date of the judgment.The State, if it is still interested in the acquisition of the land, has to issue a fresh notification under sec. 4(1).In the report Page 7 para 2 line 6 "In law, if sec. 6 declaration was not made within one year as provided by the 1984 Amendment, it would be invalid. Once there was no valid section 6 declaration made within one year as aforesaid, the sec. 4(1) notification issued earlier would also lapse and the State would have to come forward with a fresh sec. 4(1) notification." In report page 10 para 1 "the Explanation inserted in 1984 does not exclude the period covered by the litigation where the various proceedings after sec. 4(1) notification (such as the sec. 5A inquiry) or the consequential section 6 declaration are held to be bad by the Court. This can happen, for example, where the sec. 5A inquiry is held vitiated on account of breach of principles of natural justice and consequentially the sec. 6 declaration is also quashed. The Explanation –I, it will be noticed, only covers cases where sec. 6 declaration is not quashed. In that event, in the absence of a provision in sec. 6, the Court cannot exclude the period covered by the Court proceedings leading upto the date of quashing of the proceedings or of the section 6 declaration. on above ground the declaration issued u/s 6 is illegal (time barred)”.
          LG office Complaint No [protected] dt 25/3/2013, on 04/5/2013 when Land and building did not reply LG office. Grievance Officer in LG office on my complaint remark as “Please refer to the complaint that was forwarded to your department. the report of which is still awaited. It is requested that the complaint may be redressed immediately and intimation to this effect may be sent on line to this office.” again on same complaint on 17/07/2013 remaks as "The Grievance is still pending. Please take necessary action on the merit, inform the complainant and update the website." But no action taken even then.

          On my another complaint [protected] dt 30/05/2013 LG office remarks “Since the matter pertains to Land and Building Department, immediate action may be taken update the website” The officers were not taking LG office remark seriously.

          Complaint no [protected] dt 04/05/2013, on 15/07/2013 LG office remarks "The Grievance is still pending. Please take necessary action on the merit, inform the complainant and update the website."What would you say about these officers. How our voice would get heard if even the comments of LG office were not taken seriously. If i am wrong please do inform me.

              Respected Sir,
              Our LG Refrigerator suddenly stopped working around 20 days back. We registered our complaint at LG Service Centre. After 3 days one person attended it and suggested that the compressor has failed. So we asked the company to do the needful. The Compressor replacement person came after a week saying that it was not in their stock and they had to order it from Noida. At the time of installation, another service person had come who said that compressor was working efficiently. There was some other problem. Again there was a break of 9 days and another (1st person who had come) service person came today just to say that the Refrigerator cant be repaired as they are unable to cite the problem and asked me to go for new Refrigerator.

              Our Concern, If this was the problem, why did the company personnel asked us to replace compressor?
              During third visit of the person (1st service man who had originally attended and suggested for a replacement in compressor) said that since he has not asked for money he is not liable to answer as to what exactly is the fault with the Refrigerator.

              How can we address the actual problem?

              LG/refrigerator — No One is attending to our complaint

              We stay in Moradabad and since the last 18 days regularly we are complaining about our refrigerartor but in vain. Neither the authorized dealer not the service centre has attended to our complaint yet.

              LG Refrigerator — Non-working of Refrigerator

              I have lodged a complaint for my refrigerator having complaint ID C[protected], but I am sorry to say that I am getting false assurances from the customer care centre that the engineer will come to attend the complaint. One gentleman came and informed that there is a gas leakage or compressor problem in it, and the mechanic will come within two hours. But after that more than 26 hours have been elapsed and after my so many complaints nobody is listening to me. I am sorry to same that the customer services provided by the agent of the company is very very unsatisfactory and required urgent improvement. I will be happy if some strict and effected action be taken in this regard.

It may be very dangerous because he is using very low Quality material. we have done its complaints.               LG — Repairing of Refrigerator

              This is regarding my complaint for the servicing of my LG 380 Liters refrigerator. It has stopped cooling. On 10.05.2011, I made a complaint to LG customer care ( No.[protected] and was given the request no. as RNA[protected] and was told that within 2 hrs. service engineer would phone me and within 24 hrs. the complaint will be attended.

              On 11.05.2011, one Mr. Manish ( contact no. [protected] ) visited my residence and noted the fault and assured me that the concerned service engineer will visit me the next day. Nobody from the service centre contacted me the next day. In the meantime, I made several calls to LG customer care only to be told that the reminder to my above complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department.

              On 13.05.2011, one Mr. Vivek (contact no. [protected] ) informs me in the afternoon that he will be visiting my place by 5 o’clock in the evening, but he did not. At 9.30 in the night he calls me up to visit my place to which I objected and requested him to visit sometime in day time.

              Despite my calling him a number of times the next day and requesting him to visit in the day time he calls me up at 7 o’clock in the evening and turns up at 8o’clock in the night.

              My refrigerator is placed in the kitchen and after 8 o’clock in the evening normally it is time for dinner and other household chores. It seems that this person is insensitive and is bent upon having with his ways and whims.

              Since then, innumerable times Mr. Manish Gupta has been promising that the service engg would be at my place ‘Within 2 hours’ but it seems as if his ‘2 hours’ never complete.

              Yesterday, 15.05.2011, Mr. Atul Wadhwa assured me that my complaint would be resolved the next morning on priority basis.

              Today i.e. 16.05.2011, Mr. Manish Gupta called me in the morning around 10.30 am and assured me that the service engg. would come in ‘2 hours’. But it has been more than 3 hours but no one has turned up.

              Sir, for past one week the whole day I am shunning my work waiting 4 the service engg. who doesn’t turn up and being deprived of the cold water in this scorching heat . My work is suffering and I feel frustrated to think that Mr. Manish Gupta and Mr. Atul Wadhwa are lying and playing jokes with me.

              It seems that the officers at the service deptt. are unresponsive and callous to numerous phone calls and messages. What is use of making tall promises mentioned in the beginning of this complaint?

              Sir, having left with no option, I am putting this mail to you in sincere hope that my complaint would be resolved.
              I thought LG Care ‘after service’ was very prompt and efficient. So please live up to the expectations of thousands of customers like me.

              I made a complaint to customer care at[protected] after 10.12.11 around 1 Pm after trying customer care and their local office No[protected] it was coming engaged continuously,[protected] to 17 was ringing no one bothered to lift.
              I had registered my complaint with no RNA/[protected] , i was told local service person will contact within 1 hour and the complaint will be attended within 24 hours, when I asked for their local service mobile no I was refused . again on 11.12.11 I contacted customer care at 9.44 Am I was told again that it will be attended to in 24 hours and fortunately the person gave me Mobile No [protected] to be called after 10 A M . i am still to get a response to my calls since no one lifting the mobile. I do not how many times I have to lodge complaint and do not know when the 24 hours will be come. It is may be like to morrow which never comes.

                COMPLAINT REF NO. N9C42913598 Dated 29 Apr 2009.
                1. I have put in a complaint vide above Refrence No. on 29 Apr 2009 at LG Call Centre regarding my 1.5 Ton window AC, which is under AMC. An engineer Mr. ABU IMAM visited on 30 April 2009. After the check-up he intimated that the AC will be picked up for GAS FILLING.

                2. After numerous telephone calls and complaint on LG Website the AC was picked up for repairs on 5 May 2009.

                3. After another round of telephone calls the AC was finally delivered after repaires on 11 May 2009 at 6:00PM. That is; after 13 days of lodging the complaint.Seeing this PATHETIC state of Customer Care, I am constrained to state that, neither I will go in for another LG Product and nor will I advise anyone else to go in for an LG Product.

                I have purchased one top loading washing machine from Amit Enterprises, Shop No. Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi - 110023 with telephone no [protected]. I found them committing false promises to me. The have told me to pay the full amount for the machine and invoiced me the same on 26th October 2010 They committed verbally that it can be delivered only on 27th October 2010 by 1400 hrs. I have taken a leave only for this reason that the machine will be coming by that time. To my distresses they started saying it will reach to you by 2230hr or before 2400hr on 27th October 2010. After calling several times to the helpline and Amit Enterprises the response was very very poor. So I have no other means than just to wait for the machine to arrive at their mercy. The warranty will start from the date of invoice which only means while not using the machine my warranty date count has already started. I don’t know what will happen to the service in future if this is the kind of response I am getting before the machine is at my place.

                LG Products and its dealer’s service are very poor not as the say Life is Good.
                It became “Life is Hell” by associating with them

                  I purchased a LG Optimus L7 II P710 it clearly said 4 gb internal memory, where in the hell is it written only 2 gb usage from that 4 gb, the same is mentioned on www, THIS IS INCORRECT INFORMATION GIVEN TO THE CONSUMER! even your so called authorize dealer sell the same to customers, Non-sense, this post will also go up on the Consumer Court website shortly...                       My name is Arun Sagar , am from hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh , India .


                      I purchased a LG Home Theatre ( Model LG HT BH7430p ) on May 6th , 2013 spending Rs 35,000.

                      The installation engineer came after 3 days to my home where i was promised that he wil come within 24hrs after the delivery of the product.


                      He didnt bring his equipment to complete the installation process where he promised me that he would come again, but again.... only after i called the customer care he came and completed the installation.


                      After a few days i complained to the customer care that the USB port is not functioning where i found myself that am not using the correct usb port which is actually infront of the Blu ray palyer ( am using the back dummy usb port ) which means your installation engineer literally failed to educate me about my product .


                      Finally again after a month or so the correct usb port stopped working, its not detecting the usb drives nor HDD so as usual i raised a complaint on 20th June 2013 ( LG id - RNA[protected] and this time another engineer visited my home and again not on the promised date , and this guy forgot to bring his own usb drive to check ,he removed my whole Blu ray player and checked and said he would come back again next time with his own usb drive ....after he left i found that he didnt insert all the components properly where the buttons on the blu ray player stopped working .......unfortunately i was out of town for 3 weeks as my dad met with an accident n this engineer never checked with me the progress of our problem ..........

                      i came back to my room and called the customer care again and filed a new complaint on July 15th ( LG id - RNA[protected] and again the same old story as no one bothered to contact me and i even called a manger named rajitha( num was given by the customer care guy ) where she never answered my call...she called me back only after i sent an sms about the disgusting service am getting from one of the most reputed organizations in the world...finally an engineer came to my home on July 20th and confirmed that a board (smthing like a mother board in a pc ) is damaged inside the Blu ray player and it will alone be replaced .......wow wow wow what a product and service from one of the giants in consumer market .

                      am really wondering whether i bought a product from a local shop or from an MNC ...do we really think that this is LG ???????????????

                      Dear Sir,
                      I had purchased LG tv 21" flat screen from Vijay sales (Thane) on 04th Dec 2007.
                      I had given my landline as well as my mobile number to give me a call before delivery, but they failed to do that.
                      when I opened the box I saw thermocol where cut in small pieces which is of no use but still I felt as if I had purchased the second handed TV.
                      When I swiched on the TV I saw the perspective of the screen was not proper even I wanted to see demo.
                      Till date I had given 5 complaint but still no engineer had attend

                      In my life I had never seen such a worst service ever.

                        It is to my utter dissatisfaction that I write this mail and have to knock at your door as I feel cheated by LG Mobile phone department . I am continuosuly facing problems with the LG nexus device since buying it from Mobile Store in Kolkata from their Gariahat Branch .I should have taken a samsung or iphone and would be recommending that to my colleagues as well . The following are the complaints as of now -
                        1. The phone gets heated up abnormally even while talking just 5 minutes on it . Such is the heat generated that its impossible to hold it .

                        2. The outgoing voice call is not audible and the receivers always complaint on this .

                        3. The phone s battery life is pathetic with battery draining off every 1 hour even without talking much . Now if LG sayS that don't use internet then I must say that such smart phones shouldn't be marketed as a dead set if I'm not using the basic features .

                        I have given the set for servicing to Balaji services at gariahat kolkata and they also keep giving excuses and am not happy with the way the issues are dealt .

                        Another problem is that LG has given 2 numbers of mr.rahul verma (Mob No. - [protected]) who is the branch service manager and another of their personnel(Mob No. - [protected]) . Till date he has not picked up my calls on the number mentioned and neither bothered to respond . I will not leave this matter without dragging LG to consumer court and forum and will ensure this mail to be looked into by the highest authorities in consumer affairs department . Also would like to get a response from your national head or the eastern zonal head . I am a senior banker and being in a service industry such pathetic service delivery from LG is something had never expected . Want immediate replacement of the defective set and will accept any repairs on this . Its hardly a month I have purchased this and such quality is not acceptable .need a reply and also want an action taken on service managers .


                        The whole incident has resulted in a total financial loss of 27000 Rs to me as that is the price of the set and as the full set is defective it has to be replaced . The whole incident has also lead to a lot of mental harassment from LG s end as well as their service center personnel .
                        LG customer care with email id - [protected]@lge.com , have been sent many mails but they have all responded with false assurances and also faulty communication with no one contacting me from the company .

                        Spending 27000 Rs on LG mobile and then not getting any due replacement of defective set and neither a contact from the company is unacceptable.

                        samsung nexus — facing problems

                        I bought nexus s on 28th of april.I am having problems with touch pad,power key,batter standby and sometimes while surfing cell phone hangs up.So kindly try and do the needful at your and if possible then please try to replace the cell as i am facing problems since i bought it.I have complained twice in the sumsung helpline no. also.As it is its so costly but still it has got problems.I went to service centre but they said that they can apply siftware to it but i don't think it a solution bcoz i can't always run to service centre for this.

                          I've purchased an LG frontloading automatic washing machine on[protected]. The warranty was 2 years. Luckily still under warranty. The machine is not working for the last two weeks. Lodged a complaint with LG on 7th july 2013. the id is RNA[protected]. Next day the technician came and found that the control board is faulty and needs to replaced. He promised to order the part and replace it when it arrive. But 10 days passed and no info from LG service and we are left without the service of washing machine all these days. I want it repaired immediately

                          LG Washing Machine — FAULTY PART IN MACHINE

                          I purchased LG washing machine (model number : WP-95162D) on 18th sep 2010 ,when I was using it i found that water flow was not working for dryed ,so I called THE LG CUSTOMER CARE[protected] and locked a complaint about this fault .
                          A technician from LG visited my home on 19th sep 2010, he checked the washing machine and gave me a confirmation that the machine is faulty .Technician told me that he replace the faulty part in next 48 hours since he touched the machine is not working at all.
                          I am calling LG CUSTOMER CARE everyday and they are telling me the same thing that somebody will get back to me in next 24 hours, I even spoke to a manager ( Sandeep ) , he promised me that he will cal me back on 27th sep 2010 at 4 pm ,I am still waiting for that call. I even warned him that I will log a compalint in CONSUMER FORUM ,he hung up the call.

Very bad after sale service, really disappointed. LG used to have good service early, that is why I bought LG washing machine. It seems things have changed.

                          LG India — No repair of washing machine after 10 days of complaint

                          Hi,

                          My front loading fully automatic Complete Dry LG washing machine is not working since 11th may’11. Initially it was difficult even to reach LG call center number in 1st two day, Ithen I logged a complaint on 13th May’11 through LG WEB site.

                          My call log number is - RNA[protected]

                          Till 13th may'11 no service was provided to me. LG representative has bother to visit once and had commented on filter failure but no clue on recovery.

                          On discussion with LG representative, LG call center and LG service center I fill humiliated and no urgency was shown to me even after repeatedly request for early repair.

                          This is absolutely wrong way of provide service after selling high end goods with lots of promises.

                          I am very much dissatisfied with LG attitude and service quality, and am writting to consumer grivence as this type of service is not tolerated.

                          I would request LG senior management to apologize to me and place a replacement washing machine till time LG is able to repair the fault.

                          Hope working with consumer durables LG should have the sensativity to produce customer service as promised in India.

                          Please note - My washing machine has reported fault thrice in last 3 yesrs, this is a very high end machine and alwys during failure LG tells that spares are not available since this machine is having low sale due to high cost.

                          This is not the logic to customer.

                          I need your support to fight this ODD out.

                          LG India/Washing machine — Non-delivery on new product.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,
                          We booked our product with one of the LG India'g authorsied dealer in Cuttack, Odisha on 12th Nov.,2011 still we don't get our product. If we going to call a customer care peoples they are giving the irresponsible answers from them like, they don't have that product with right now, if it like it's take around more than one month to produce a product, we can choose your another product with same features. And sometimes they are calling and tells like we don't have a that product we come and take your money from us. Like this type information they are giving from there sides. If it's like then what you think to take further step against this. Either we contact their higher authorities if anyone please share that information or we register our complain with consumer court.

                          Since then it has been giving operational problems to us... till date!!

                          LG's Answer to my correspondence is as follows...."As per the terms of warranty, we have repaired the product and the same is satisfactorily working as confirmed by you.However we cannot replace the product since there is no such manufacturing defect in the product, you are already using the machine from one and half years."

                          This shows that the m/c has failed on 8 occasions since it's purchase for technical reasons. But our position is clear that the product which has failed in 2 years of its production is defective and hence should be replaced.I am fed up of everytime calling LG person and lodging a complaint; in addition to taking trouble of washing clothes by hand.

                          I now request you to help me fight LG in replacing this m/c. at the earliest and issue me a new one,

                          As u know that LG is registered as a CONVERGENCE brand.

                          I have a product of LG washing machine (Model no. F8068LDP). which was purchased in late 2011 and got installed early 2012, recently we have some voltage variation and this machine got breakdown. We called customer care and got one representative from your company and he said that PCB of the machine is damaged. I insisted him to check fuse of the power supply which was OK. He told me that if you take bill then you have to pay Rs.6000/- for this complain and if you donot want bill then you have to pay Rs. 2500/- We found this quite unethical. We did not say any thing to this gentlemen and he said he will revert back to us next day. Next day he came with new PCB and asked for 2500/- to install a new PCB with out bill. My wife refused to entertain him and instead he took Rs.113/- as service charge and he did not give receipt of the same as well. This is totally unethical from your service department.

                          My question to LG is that this is manufacturing defect and this should be replaced FOC why there should be charges to it and what kind of protection system is there in your product. I am hearing lot of complaints about LG products and now i have witnessed the same.

                          I request you to please take it up with your management and give me solution else i have to go to Korian management and ask for solution.

                            Actually I bought LG 1 ton split AC 4month back from Shah's Electronic shop. After a month AC cooling system very poor and also one side flow completely stopped, I have been register my complaint to customer care and also directly I went to LG service centre which is located in vadapalani. They have told me will send service person , but till date nobody has come and rectified my split ac problem. I made complaint since march to till date. But nothing response from LG people . So hereafter I will not purchase any LG product in my future and also I am advising don't go for LG product.

                            Kindly listen my pain. I have purchased 6 unit of Lg Split AC's On January 2010 from Nandilath G mart for my Digital Imaging senter Called ROMANTIC Digital Book Album. Unfortunaitly the Instalation took littil later by mid february by the g mart Technician.after a week two of my units cooling capacity is started redusing we didi not realised. After three weeks my men complined to the local LG technician he came after two days and said gas leek . surprised . He call the immedeat Boos and left by saying technician will com next day. But until esterday 30/03/2010 I have contacted each and every personal of LG and Gmart.
                            Thay all said we will do it but when? when I purchased the Lg Ac on a hop of a branded Product any thing will com the LG Peuple will take care atleast One year. and a trust on the Lg Pruduct. when I spok to the Service Incharge of Kerala he said He is not responsible for this and he is doing a favor for me .                             We brought 2 LG Split AC for the hospital ICU.We have AMC for both the units.There has so many problems with the AC functioning 1 year after purchase.We have registered complaints so many times but they dont respond.I have also sent so many emails to the company, they asked for my phn num and said they will get back, which hasnt happened! I spoke to LG service centre in chennai,the supervisor sent a person same day.He came checked and said gas is empty ,one unit he has found the leak.He said he will come next day and do the work.Its been 4 days and nothing has happened ,this inspite of him knowing its a HOSPITAL ICU!                             I had purchased the Split AC-1 ton last year on 23 Mar 09. I have been facing no cooling problem with my AC repeatedly. I have been complaining regularly regarding this problem to LG custmor care and every time they came and repair but the same problem as it is. Today I make the complaint three times but even the engineer from the company did not come or nor call me.

                            LG AC 1 ton % star — No cooling

                            I purchased a 1 ton AC last year and is still within warranty period. Within six months of purchase and installation the cooling effect totally decreased. I raise a complaint and promptly their technician visited the home and found leakage of gas, but could not find the exact point of leak. He however recharged the gas and left onstruction to complain if the leakage persisted. Promptly within three weeks the AC again stopped giving cool air. I again reported the same and after one week the technicians came, checked the AC and said they have to take the machine to their workshop for rectification. They also said it will take one week to rectify the defect. I paid for the conveyance of the AC to and fro.They brought back the machine after more than three weeks and installed the AC.The monsoons had already started by then and the effectiveness could not be satisfactorily checked. Any way I switched the AC yesterday only to find that the same problem persists.I had again registered a complaint viderequst id C[protected]. The warranty period is expiring on 18/9/10 and Iam concerned.I request that immediate and final and satisfactory repair action/replacement may be please ensured at the earlist.Thanks

                            LG — Split AC Service

                            i have purchased a split AC (5 Star) of LG make. It was installed about a year ago at my petrol pump office of "Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (Shree Ambika Petroleum, Between 1st & 2nd gate of GIDM-Metoda, Rajkot-Kalawad Road, AT: Vajdi(Vad) Dist : Rajkot. The dranage water comes out from the inner unit.

                            i have logged the complaint on toll free no.[protected] for more than 5 time and i am logging these complaints from last week of FEB-2011 till the date.

                            day before yesterday, the water flow from the inner unit was so much excess that it went into the electric switch board which is fitted in the wall under the inner unit resulting in electricity failure and small office fire. I was sitting at my desk in my office and the fire took place just behind me. I have also informed LG people about the accident in last week of March-2011 but there is yet no response from LG.

                            i think LG people are agressive in selling their goods but after sale service is VERY VERY POOR. my complaint is still pending on the date.
                            I am also suffering problem with my LG ac since last 1 month. LG servive is horrible. Never buy an LG product.There are number of complaints pending since last more than 1 month in Rajkot and they are least bothered.All India customer care only receives complaints. They never act.I am damn sure they would not have taken any steps even in a single case. Pls. remember, never never ever buy an LG product.

You are requested to look into the matter and do the needful, forthwith, as inspite of I have installed four AC's I am passing the days in very heating atmosphere.

                            SIR,
                            I had purchased lg refrigerator on 24th may 2010.i have recently noticed that there is a problem of coolinf in freezer.I have lodged a complaint (Complaint ID - RNA[protected] with the customer care center on the 1st of May, 2011. This complaint was to be attended to on the 2nd of May, 2011.

                            Since then, almost everyday I have been in contact with the customer care executives. Everyday it is the same story that I get to hear from them. All they say is that the service center representative will be sent over to my place the next day.Another common dialogue that I get from the customer case is that the service center had made a call to my cellphone and that I did not answer it. Moreover, every customer care representative that I speak to, asks me to call back and ask for them if the complaint is not attended to the next day.moreover,they blame me and said to go to the dealer.
                            now tell me what should i do.i suggest to everyone that don't purchased lg product because its service is no good.i am waiting when my problem wil solve

                            LG Split AC — Poor Customer Service

                            I had purchased a LG Split AC 1.5 ton on 19 March 2011. The installation for the same was done on 20 March 2011. There was a concern raised by me for the installation as it was not straight in line. The LG service engineer assured me that this is fine and it won't cause any issue. I mentioned the same in the job sheet also. However as I suspected, there was a water leakage problem with the AC and all the water were flowing down in the room. I complained thrice in the month of April 11 and I was always assured that the problem will be rectified today/tomorrow. I am still waiting for the same.....

                            Lastly, I complained again on 8th May 2011 (Ref No: RNA[protected]. I was assured that the problem will be addressed on 8 May 2011 but nothing happened. Again, I called on 9 May 2011, same assurance was delieverd to me. Today, when I called up the cutomer care again, I was given the contact number of Officer Incharge of Service centre, Mr. Utsav (Contact Number: [protected]). He told me that my request is being handled by Service Supervisor Mr Ashraf. I spoke to him also and he communicated that he will call back me and address the issue on 12 May 2011 itself. Now, as expected, his phone is switched off and there is no one to address my problem. Now, even Mr. Utsav is also not picking up the phone.

                            I hope my problem is addressed ASAP as its affecting the reputation of a branded company like LG.

                            Hi, I have a 1.5 ton Split Airconditioner which was purchased in May 2010 which was perfectly working fine in Chennai, I had relocated to Jaipur in the month of May and got my AC reinstalled at my residence by the authorised service centre people via a complaint number RNA[protected], the person (Ishwar) had attended on 3rd Jan 2012, they also charged me Rs. 1500/- for reinstallation. when asked about the Job sheet, he had said he has not brought it and after insisting he gave a jobsheet without a Job No and he said he will have to check at his office and provide the same. he never called back on the same. Being winter we never used the AC, but when we wanted to use in the Summer it was not cooling.

                            I had called the CC on 1st of April & mentioned about the issue and they had said somebody would attend it within 24hrs and they promptly came and checked the same. the service engineer who came for servicing asked for Rs. 4000/- when I asked him the reason for the same he said that there is Gas leakage, said him that this was installed by your guys just before 2 months and how can it leak. he connected me to his manager Mr. Ajayan. when speaking to the manager the service engineer said the charge for refilling the gas is Rs. 1800/-. when I spoke to the manager and asked him the reason for gas leaking within 2 months, he asked me if I have the reference number. had given him the installation ref number RNA[protected], he checked in the system and said that your request number was cancelled and the installation was not done by LG Authorised service person. I had said him that I had only called the CC for reinstallation and they had only given me the request ref no as mentioned above.

                            He said he will check and come back to me on 3rd of April. after this nothing happened, tried calling Mr. Ajayan multiple times and he never answered my call, finally on 6th he answered my call and again asked me to provide all details and asked me to call after 30 mts. from then on he stopped answering my call, had called CC multiple times and they kept saying that my complaint is moved to priority 1 and somebody will come in 24hrs, am writing this on 11th and till now nobody had called me

                            Dear Sir,

                            I have purchased the new A/c in the month of 28th March 2012, in Chellamani & Co vide bill no. 0824. Only two month is worked and thenav got repaired.

                            So I gave the complain on 12th June 2012 vide reference No. CHE[protected]. and engineer has visited and taken the OUTDOOR UNITfor that we have Rs.120/ towards service charges.

                            Almost second month in process so far they put the OUTDOOR unit in our house.

                            I find this is worst service in our India.

                            I have called up so many time to Chennai and also in the Call Centre - BUT NO USE.

                            what is use they are introducing new product.

                            I felt WORST SERVICE, NOT ONLY ENGINEERS AND ALSO THE SUPERIOR WHO HAS GETTING SALARY IN THERE ACCOUNT.

                              I bought refrigerator single door 270 lt. as on[protected], from ANUJ ELECTRONIC, there was no cooling at that time , we make complain then engineer changed thermostat, after that door was not opening easily, then engineer changed rubber gasket, from last three month there is heavy moisture inside vegetable basket , after defrosting water comes from front side of door, all fresh vegetables are spoiling in the basket, we complain many times but no solution has been made till now , we want to change this model so you kindly register our complain and take action, thanks.

                                Hi, Writing a painful complaint regarding a new 180L - LG Refrigerator bought 6 months ago in Unnao District UP.

                                Refrigerator developed a technical snag - (Water dropping from Chiller Tray to shelf) around a month ago, Several complaints have been logged with LG customer care since then. Two engineers visited the house. Engineer could not repair the issue. Engineer suggested that since Fridge cant be repair, they will raise the issue for refund/replacement since it is covered for replacement/refund warranty in 1st year.

                                It is more than a month now and there is no hearing back from LG. My father is being taken into circles.
                                He logs a ticket with Customer Care, Customer Care says the technical team will revert in 24 to 48 hrs. No one reverts.
                                My father also called Local Area Office in Kanpur. People at local office are responding in irresponsible manner and harassing my father. They are saying replacing does not happen normally and they do not trust on problem explained and say that they will send somebody to fix this.

                                3rd of 4th complaint logged on 10th July, No body visited the problem site yet despite being assured by Manager of Customer care Mr Bilal that problem will be attended in 24 hrs.

                                LG India Refridgerator — Serious Service Issues

                                Hi,

                                This is to bring to your notice about the service issue that we are facing for past some time. We are very disheartened by the services of LG India, as for past 18 Days we are given the false commitments by their team.
                                We have bought LG refrigerator from Kings Electronics Nerul on 24th March 2007. The product worked fine for first few months. Then In August 2007 it stopped cooling (in fridge as well as deep freezer). Then their service personnel came and serviced the fridge. He told us then that if the same problems persist then we would have to change the compressor. Now from 22nd Feb, its not working again as the same problem has re-occurred. But this time only fridge is not cooling whereas deep freezer is cooling.

                                We have been complaining in LG services from that time but only once their service personnel have visited to diagnose the problem but then no one turned up to rectify the same. We have complained LG many times like 23rd Feb (complain no w8c[protected]

                                3rd March (complain no w8c[protected], 8th March (complain no w8c[protected].

                                We have also called at many times at their service franchisee Shri Electricals, Sanpada.

                                On 10th march their customer care gave us the number of Mr Joseph Fernandes([protected]) but we found that the services to this number are terminated.

                                No one from their side is able to tell us any specific reasons for the delay in the servicing.

                                We would humbly request you to take our case into consideration and help us resolve the issue as soon as possible.

                                L.G — Complain for LG Refrigerator

                                Hi,

                                I purchased a LG Refrigerator on 19/04/2009 whose Bill Number is 623 and model no is 308VT4 Just within 6 months of purchase 2 times I have launched complains regarding its cooling.
                                The refrigerator has been opened 2 times for investigation.
                                But now since a month, the light and the cooling of the refrigerator is again not working properly.

                                If possible kindly replace our refrigerator as, not even a year has been passed and it’s showing a lot of problems.

                                LG-350L — Refrigerator

                                I have purchased a new LG Refrigerator on 28th of May2011. Right after delivery I found few small dents on the door, door alignment was not proper, gas-kit is not working properly, even door can not be closed properly. I purchased this fridge from vaishali sec-4 from the exclusive showroom of LG Ganpati plaza. Now I have paid all the money so company and dealer is playing around each other. I complaint to customer care but no response is there from company side. If i talked to the Area sales manager he said it happens in bulky products. I am shocked that after charging a new product price thay are giving us the defected products.

                                  But since today i have not received any information from them.

                                  I think both LG and Spectramind are cheating customers. I have purchased this LG monitor TV only because of this offer.

                                  lines are coming from bottom to top on the screen while starting it and onwards disturbing eyes
                                  the headquarter of LG is too busy to help me out. if the company treasure their reputation. how could they not care? but they do not. they looked down on ordinary customers. if they keep doing this, i guess the company goes nowhere.

                                  I am an ordinary customer, last year in May i bought a LG monitor, it could not display anything 3 days ago. the after sale workers of LG, came and looked, said that the main part of it need to be changed, it would cost RMB1300, I could not believe, i was told that the warranty is only 1 year, but i am still shocked, i bought LG because i thought the international brand would be good quality, but it is very disappointing.

                                  that afternoon the after sale man called said if i could not accept RMB1300 to change that part, at least i should pay RMB400. i called [protected], told them what had happened, then the after sale service man called me again, said he only said it would cost RMB1300 before. i am very angry, i do not know LG call center has the right to tell everything to the man, i feel fooled at this stage. because i told them to change the worker, i need someone honest.

                                  then i called [protected] again, i talked to the manager, but she is not going to do anything to solve this.

                                  LG is a good brand in my thought before, that is why i chose it at the first place. and 1 year 1 month the main parts need to be changed is unacceptable.

                                  I will never buy any product of LG again, that is what i learnt from my lesson.

                                  LG-monitor — monitor not working

                                  my LG 700e flatron was working fine but now whenever i start it the led blinks for about 10-15 minutes, , , , it first blinks at a faster rate and then it slowly decreases its speed and then after taking a long time it starts...

                                    We are thoroughly diappointed with the new refrigerator we bought on May 26, 2013 from Sony Mony store in Vile Parle (W), Mumbai. We had issues with a leaking door which after making several complaints and phone calls was finally replaced last weekend. Now we have issues with ice being formed all over the freezer section. What is the point of getting frost free refrigerator if there is ice/frost all over. We had initially asked for a complete replacement of the fridge since it was a faulty appliance in the first place. Even then only the door was replaced. This is by far the worst customer service we have experienced.

                                      I purchased refrigerator Model No.GL245 BEDGS on 13/12/2012 from your dealer OM Power Shalimar garden U.P. From the date of purchase the refrigerator start giving one problem after other. With in two months of purchase complaint was made for DOOR, Freezer , low freezing and Dip try, the problems were never resolved completely.
                                      I believe with surety that this refrigerator was used in display before it was sent to my home against my purchase. This belief of mine turned into reality when on 18/06/2013, the door of freezer came down when we open the refrigerator. The beadings of shelves are so poor quality that they break as they are of wax. This shows that material used is of very poor quality and refrigerator is used in display which made its doors, freezing & freezer door very pathetic. Please investigate the matter as highlighted above
                                      I would like to know why I have been cheated by supply the refrigerator which was used in display and material at beadings of shelves is very poor.
                                      It is requested to replace my refrigerator because of following problems urgently.
                                      1. Refrigerator freezer door has broken all of sudden
                                      2. Try bedding of all shelves are breaks at all places, it seems they are of inferior quality
                                      3. Dip try is not evaporating completely

No response from Service Department or able contact them via phone -all phone either busy or no body picks up the phone. I would suggest people should avod buying appliances or Tv or any high end items which might need service. Because their Customer Service is very pathetic, irresponsible and unprofessional.

                                        This is to inform you that I had purchased a 29" LG colour television from LG Shoppe, Apsara road,gandhi nagar 5 years back.

                                        The decision i took was on the basis of good quality provided by LG earlier. I already have a 21" TV alongwith 2 refrigrators & 1 semi automatic washing machine.

                                        But i believe, from time to time the quality of LG products has deteriorated drastically.

                                        After the purchase of 29" TV, it started giving trouble from very beginning & was being repaired on regular basis under warranty, but the problem was never resolved permanently.

                                        The problems persisted even after,product went out of warranty & we paid couple of times to the dealer for repairs.

                                        Again in this month,TV broke down but his time to my surprise even after complaining in the customer care twice, no body has turned up to repair the TV.

                                        Initially the complaint was lodged & complaint number was provided to me "RNA[protected]" (Complaint is in the name of Mr. Hari Krishan Saraf ). For next 3~4 day, we waited & an engineer turned up but didn't repair the TV saying the parts were not available.

                                        Again i called up LG customer care & again they provided me new complaint no "[protected]" & assuring me that the problem will be attended 7 resolved in 48 hrs. 1 week has passed by since then & my TV set is lying at home in as its condition & LG people are least bothered.

                                        Now i don't want any repairs & instead i want a new product or my full money back for so much harassment my family has faced from the very beginning.
