I brought a plasmsa tv in 2010, its not really used alot as were at work most of the day. we payed £369 for the tv. which is now broken, the supply board has broken. we are very dissapointed with our tv as we have all our other appliiances with lg. which weve never had problems with. we are now without a tv which isnt nice for our family so near christmas. I recommend your products highly, unfortunatly this want be the case in future. j clark

    I purchased a new LG washing machine model No.T72 FSA 12P on 30.10.2013 from M/s Pro Visual, Bhadrak. Sameday LG Co. mechanic visited my house at Gopabandhu Nagar, Chapulia, Bhadrak, Odisha-756101 and fitted the machine and shown us the DEMO. on 1st Nov., the machine had shown problem; water did not automatically flow to the machine. I lodged a complaint with toll free customer care No.[protected] on 9th Nov and in the mean time I also personally contacted the concerned mechanic . Till date no body attended the complaint. It is a new machine, how it is showing defect on the first day of its use. KIndly take it seriously and send the mechanic urgently.

      Dear, I have purchased one brand new fridge -REF-338VE4(VB) (LG) dated on 1-Apr-2013 from Ace Electronics B-1/34 Sector -18, Noida-201301 invoice No-9. Door was rusted and i am very much disapponited beacuse its only six months old and door was looking so bed. If LG like company provide such bed quality product in india so we should take stern action against them. Kindly provide immediate solution or depute any service engineer to resolve this issue.         I purchased LG Microwave oven Model No.MC 808-WAR and the Touch Pad Control Panel of it is not working. It was previously replaced once by the company. Within one month of purchasing the item problem arouse and they repaired it several times and finally replaced it. Presently it is not working. The Technician told me that he is helpless as the company is not manufacturing and supplying the part presently. How to solve the problem because all the other parts are working perfectly other than the Touch Pad Control Panel.

          With reference to our previous mail dated 28.10.2013, we are really disappointed with worst ever service experience & our faith in this LG brand is totally shaken. We made a biggest mistake & regret our decision of opting for LG instead of Samsung.

          As per previous, after a lot explanation & discussion, the service centre finally realized the electric fault in the repair & again issued third complaint number after closure of previous two complaint numbers on the pretext of forceful closure by the customer service of LG to show prompt service in the records.

          Anyhow, the microwave got delivered back the machine on 07.11.2013. The oven was delivered to us with new problems. The bottom rotatory plastic part that holds the glass tray is supplied of some other microwave & the glass tray is vibrating on it. While taking the oven, the technician left with us only 3 wheel circle & the glass tray. On raising the issue, we were informed that they left that part also with us but on our strict refusal, they promised to bring the part next day as the technician who repaired it is on leave. But till now, there is no response.

          To further add to our woes & problem, we found that they have left the oven with hundreds of cockroaches coming slowly from the back side & in the front door of the machine. We are really fed up with this company its response. Oven is returned after 18 days without its usability & big breeding ground for the cockroach. We can understand that in what kind of deplorable condition this oven must have been kept in the service centre.

          If any shame is left with the entire service team of LG, we request you to please look into the matter & get the part replaced and send some senior technician to inspect the situation. Please also arrange for the cleaning of cockroaches & breeding grounds in the mechanical area of the oven.

          We are really disappointed with the extremely poor service of LG & our faith in this brand is badly shaken. LG customer service gave me one number of Ms.Shobha Pandey & we are trying since last one week but it is not reachable always and seems to be gimmick to fool the customers.

          Please inform us immediately when this shameful attitude of your service team will finally end otherwise we have to lodge a complaint with the Consumer Court on this. Your soonest possible reply is eagerly awaited.

          With reference to above said complaint numbers & product details, it is to bring to you notice that we had made the complaint about the defect in microwave oven on 24.09.2013 & your service engineer changed the part on 28.09.2013. Than after usage for day, the new problem started. The moment we plug the over to the mains, the main ELCB (EARTH LEAKAGE CIRCUIT BREAKER) of our electricity meter is tripping due to some short circuit of neutral & earth in the oven.

          On our complaint on 14.10.13, service engineer from your Azadpur Service Centre, Delhi visited us & could not rectify the problem. Than they called some senior engineer from the production plant on 16.10.2013 & found the electrical problem in the machine & decided to take the machine to service centre. As a cross verification, they also checked the oven in my neighbor’s house & had the same ELCB tripping problem. On 20.10.13, they took the machine & after that there was a big silence. On follow-up on 24.10.13 to LG customer care, we found that they have closed the complaint even without returning the microwave.

          After this another complaint is lodged in spite of previous one still not open and on 25.10.13, they brought the oven & found the problem remain not resolved. They found that when the oven door is open & power socket is plugged to mains, the ELCB was not tripping but the movement the door is closed, it trips again.

          To our surprise & dismay, after two hours, we received a call from Mr.Rajat / Ranjit from Azadpur service centre informing & complaining that why we refused to take back the oven while the decision to take back was there on own team as it was not working. Than on our explanation, he realized the gravity of the situation & asked us to give on more day to resolve,

          It is now 14 days & no result. We are really disappointed with the extremely poor service of LG & our faith in this brand is badly shaken.             I purchased approximately three lakhs worth of LG products when setting up our home on retirement during mid 2012. I regret having selected LG for two reasons, first, our refrigerator (LG DIOS 567L217BSXV) stopped working and it took eight days for a service person to come and repair IT. Now we have one of our split ACs not working (I understand it has a gas leak issue and needs to be soldiered and gas refilled)> The problem was registered with LG Service and confirmed vide SMS at 11.27 hours on 01 Nov 2013 (ID [protected]). I got a call from the service representative at 11.28 hours on 02 Nov 2012 that he would come home within 10 minutes; however, I was not at home and he satated that he would come on Monday, the 4th of Nov 2013, which was fair. However, I get a SMS at 18.49 hours on 02 Nov 2013, stating, 'your service request RNA[protected] is closed. Reason Customer Appointment over 5 days'.
            I am sure we all understand that only 2 days have elapsed and not 5. Sadly this this the second bad experience We have had with LG. First their products are very very bad and get unserviceable soon and second their service is atrocious. My advise to every potential buyer...DO NOT BUY LG PRODUCTS> I am changing house shortly, and I will definitely not buy LG hereafter and will also influence all my friends not to buy LG

            Two days since the complaint and we still do not have a representative from LG check on the problem. Very poor service. Sad that we went in for LG; any other company would have been better.

            It is now 22 days since we logged a complaint with LG service and sadly, the TV remains unserviceable for lack of repairs. Do advise as to how we can approach consumer courts for redressal...thank you

            Here's the update. I exchanged the damaged LG TV and purchased a new 3D LED TV (obviously NOT LG). The cost of repairs and services levied by LG is acceptable, but the time taken by them, in this case I waited one week only to be told that it would take more time for another part to come, is unacceptable when one is paying in excess of Rs 24, 000 for repairs! The last time repairs took 22 days. So LG, either improve your logistics related to service or expect people not to buy your products
            Here once again with the same complaint, the TV having the same problem 6 months after it was repaired after a wait of more than 22 days. Its been 9 days since the LG rep came and saw theTV and there has been no further action. On speaking to their complaint cell I was informed that they would spped up the case, but the fact is that they dont seem to have spares easily available and if it takes so many days to repair when we are paying a good amount of money, then their logistics setup is poor. I have told people who are purchasing new items to avoid LG products as their repair service is BAD

              Hi All, We are a loyal consumer of LG product since 2000 but unfortunately this product (32LN5400 LED TV) and services (Automatic washing machine) are forced me to write this. The whole thing started with we brought a LG LED 32LN5400 TV for Rs. 36000 on may 2013 within 3 months we are hearing humming sound from TV after complaining they advised us that setup box has 2 pins and TV has 3 pins because of earthing issue there is a humming sound now they have products with 2 pins while all this procedure we came to know the AV1 & AV2 slot is gone and its repaired with 3 months within a month we are facing a new problem that unable to see the picture it gives HORRIBLE sound like it gone be blast. filled a complaint id[protected] for TV. My tragedy doesn't ends here i brought a another product of LG fully automatic machine for replacing of old washing machine its delivered within 2 days and my old one was taken by the time itself and was promised that installation person will arrive within 2 days but after 4 days none of the person came complaint id :[protected]. they were assured that installation person will contact within 4 hours but still no one is shown. One of my friends has LG products and has one particular TV as per sheet attached which is not working now There was a problem in the TV I showed to the authorised centre in Indore who gave me in writing that this TV cannot be repaired since LG doe not provide spare parts and must buy a new one Somehow I was not convinced because a company like LG who believes in customer care and wants to retain customer will have such poor quality and selling products which cannot be repaired I request to let me have your comments as I feel this dealer has given wrong information’s and may be to defame LG However if this is true that you make not repairable poor quality items in India, I will be constrained to take it up on different websites and consumer forum so that people know while buying that their items cannot be repaired Look forward to your favourable and honest response Yours faithfully Rajeev Bhargava [protected]

                  My name is Srikar Kura, I have purchased a LG Spilt Air Conditioner(AC) 1.5 ton in May 2013 from Bajaj Electronics in Hyderabad, AP. Air Conditioner(AC) has 1 year warranty and free service. Since from last month i.e September 2013 I'm facing the problem of closing of indoor unit split cap . I have called LG AC customer care representative around 25 times (His name is Srinivas (his mobile no: [protected]), but I didn't get any response. Every time when I call him, he will say I will send customer representative but this never happened. He is very rude and don't know how to talk with customer. I have never ever seen this kind worst customer care in my life. It is already 1 month is over since from my AC problem occurred, till now LG neither has not sent technician nor called me back to solve the problem. It is like cheating and looting poor customers.                     My LG-P895 mobile has the following issues Initially the screen developed some problem, after giving it at the service center the screen was replaced. This happened just after 2 months after I purchased it. - Now the same problem but very little in magnitude is still existing - The sensor does not work consistently, after taking the phone off from my ear after every conversation, the screen fails to start to enable me to disconnect the call. This issue happens once in every 4-5 calls. I am forced to restart the mobile every time this happens. - When try to speak to anybody over speaker phone, the other person does not hear any thing. The songs and conversations are just fine. This happens only when i try to speak to somebody over the speaker. - I was told by the salesman that there would be a OS update soon but it never happened. I liked the G2 very much but just holding on, I have my apprehensions. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

                      I have registered a service request no RNA[protected] .The concerned technician visited on 25/10 and said that my refrigerator needs a gas filling.When asked when the work will be done he didnt give any fixed time frame and said he has lot of work to do.Till 26th evening no one visited for the gas filling. and all my medicines and items are getting spoilt

                      THIS IS MY THIRD REFRIGERATOR, AND PRIOR TO THIS I OWNED A GODREJ AND SAMSUNG PRODUCT WHICH NEVER REQUIRED A GAS FILLING IN JUST TWO YEARS.FURTHER SAMSUNG AHD GODREJ SETTLES ALL COMPLAINS IN 24 HOURS AND HAS AN EXCELLENT BACKUP AND SERVICE.

                      I AM REGRETTING FOR BUYING AN LG PRODUCT. THE SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE. I AM GOING TO PUBLICISE THIS THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORK AND MEDIA IF MY COMPLAINT IS NOT SETELLED BY TOMORROW MORNING EVEN THOUGH TOMORROW IS A SUNDAY (27TH MORNING). I FEEL THAT THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL MUST NOT BE CHEATED BY THE FALSE PROMISES REGARDING SERVICES BY LG.

                          1. I have a plasma TV 42 Inch of LG company which i have an AMC valid till Aug 2014. 2. I reported a complaint about display on 20th (approx) Sep and the RNA no is[protected]. 3. I am not being contacted by the company. However, when contacting the concerned engineer I am being told that the part is not available and has been ordered. I am also being told that it would be available in four days positively. This has continued for four times and therefore now almost 33 days have elapsed. 4. It is requested that the matter may be resolved at the earliest. I AGREED TO IT BUT THE NEXT DAY A CSE TOLD OVER THE PHONE THAT AS YOUR PRODUCT IS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THE PRODUCT IS NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE YOUR PCB. I HAD PURCHASED THE MICROWAVE OVEN IN THE YEAR 2011. HENCE NOW MY REQUEST IS TO SHOW ME A WAY OUT HOW TO REPAIR MY MICROWAVE OVEN. THE WAY OF SPEAKING TO ME BY THE CSE FROM YOUR SERVICE CENTRE WAS NOT AT ALL ACCEPTABLE. THERE WAS NO PATIENT HEARING GIVEN TO ME. I WANT A STRONG ACTION AGAINST THIS SORT BEHAVIOUR. THE CSE WAS A LADY AT THE LG SERVICE CENTRE.

                              Bought a LG LED Television Model 5120 on 1st Oct 2013.The salesman at the time of purchase showed mr the product featuring Model 5120 with IPS Panel but when the product was deleivered the product had VA Panel not IPS Panel. I have spoken to the delear several time about the same but they are reluctant to solve the issue and offered me to buy a higher version of the product Model No. 5150 with the extra price, then I have lodged a complain to LG Cusrtomer Care on 20th Oct 2013 and wrote mail to them on 21st Oct 2013 ([protected]@lge.com), but till date there is no reponse. Please help.

                                Hi, I purchased this plasma TV on 10/08/12 (Model No. 42pt350r). Serial Number 202ppjc000524. I hardly used this plasma tv for a year and problem of distortion came into it. I called LG people and they told me that they have to change board and they took visit charge and price for board which they changed (amount around 2500). And they said that if you will not use your TV regularly than u might this kind of problem again, i dont know how this can happen. And again same kind of problem occur again in your product. I dont know what kind of quality you have in your product. I hardly used for more than a year and it is the 2nd time i am facing this problem. I used almost all the TV brands but LG is worse of the all. Please fix this problem, so that i can sell it and will not purchase any product of LG in future. I want to get rid of this product ASAP, please help me. Or i[censored] can purchase your 3rd class product from me than you are more than welcome. I have already registered the complain. Complain # is RNA[protected] and representative name is Mr. Deepak. As per your commitment, the problem was going to get resolved last Friday (18/10/2013) by replacing the panel. But as you are aware that the panel which you had specially got from Bangalore did not match and the problem still persist. It is little surprising that after so many visits by your engineer how come the panel was sent for different model. Anyway just to put on record here is the summary once again, please acknowledge the same. Developments that have taken place since the complaint placed with you 03/09/2013 – 1st Complaint RNA[protected] 28/09/2013- follow up complaint as the earlier complaint was not resolved – RNA[protected] In-between responses from your office from 03/09/2013 till 12/10/2013 1) Problem- Panel problem was diagnosed. Response- Panel will be replaced 2) Problem- Panel to available. Response- TV Set will be replaced 3) Problem- Same Model not Available. Response- Money will be refunded. 4) Problem- Panel available with Bangalore unit. Response- Panel will be replace within a week (as per your mail dated 12/10/2103 below.) 5) Problem- Panel brought from Bangalore does not match.                                     I have bought a LG LCD 32CS470 six months before but now it is not working properly, On complaining to LG care, a engineer came and took it to the service center and give it back to me still it is not working then i again complained and contacted service center they told me that part is not available so please wait for 3 days, they again and again told me to wait.                                       i went to a lg store at real tech park, vashi, navi mumbai. i wanted a 32 inch tv that i could use as a monitor via hdmi connection. i went in the shop and i asked the dealer what was the frame rate of 32ln5110 tv and he replied 100hz. i asked him about the frame rate many times clearly mentioning the term "frame rate" and he always replied stating the frame rate to be 100 hz. i bought the tv and i noticed while playing a game that frame rate is not up to the mark. i checked it out on internet and saw that the frame rate of the tv was 50hz and mci was 100. i contacted the dealer about the problem and he replied that by frame rate he meant "motion clarity index" and they are one and the same thing. i told him that frame rate of the tv is actually 50hz and then he replied that the mci is 100. he is telling that he cannot do anything about it. he called me to the shop so that he could explain me what mci is. he sold me a product based on false information which is now of no use to me.

                                      i registered a complaint to LG and they told me that i will receive a call back from the concerned department within 72 working hours. i called them many times and after 12 days when 72 working hours time period was long gone, i contacted them again and i got a reply that the complaint was not registered and i will have to register a new one.

                                      then the next time i called, i got a reply that i have to call a new no. which they have given me.

                                        I Bought this LG charcoal grill model For Rs.25000+ on August 15 2012, It was working fine for 6 months, after that suddenly it stopped working. There came a service guy & replaced some circuit board & then it was working fine. Suddenly it stopped working again From last month.

                                        I Registered a complain on 20- Sep, finally a guy showed up on 24-Sep & he tightened some screws & said its working all right, The same day it stopped working

                                        I Registered a complaint again, after 4-5 days of Follow up & with the Help of some senior person (Ms.Bharati Devi # [protected]) there came a person & he checked & said that some holder issue & he replaced & it worked ! but before he left (thank god) it didn't work.

                                        Then he came up with a solution saying Need to replace some parts ! i said ok, & he commited it will take 3-4 days max, its now exactly 15 days now & also the technician stopped picking up the calls ( & infact he was murmuring that its a useless model which does not have a good Door switch... isssssh )

                                        Finally i am hopeless, dont know what to do further... I[censored] call customer care they will be giving random complaint number & try to immitate world class service... BUT FINALLY NO ACTION... Now the so called senour person (Bharati Devi) & the technician stopped picking up my calls tooo.

                                        LG YOU ARE THE WORST - Pls stop advertising your products...& mention your machines can work only for a year.
