I have a LG Microwave, Airconditioner, DVD player, fridge and washing machine. I reside in Pune. This feedback is to warn people in pune - not to buy any LG products as the LG service in Pune is very very bad. Their products are good but service is terrible in Pune.
Their service engineers are openly telling customers that since they get paid only 30 Rs per call, they are not intrested in attending to customers on time. On an average, they take three days or more to come after lodging a complaint, in some cases, they have not even come after 7 days.
Since LG does not pay them, they are cheating the company. So if any engineer comes to you, ask him to lodge a fake warranty claim and they will happily do so in someone else's name and give you the part at a 50% discount. They routinely do this for all LG products in Pune. Its surprising how LG does not know this as almost all their senior Engineers are involved in this racket for atleast two to three years now.
All the engineers have also told me that the company takes very long to send the parts needed and they are helpless on that issue. LG has taken more than 15 days to source any part, on more than 4 occasions, in the last two years that I have needed a part.
Though they have changed their service franchisee recently, about 2-3 months ago, the new service franchisee is equally bad if not worse.
While in Mumbai, the LG service was good, but their service in pune is really very bad. So while their products are good, if they need service in Pune - may god help you.

I have heard that LG solves grievances in minutes but it is not true in my case.Hoping for quicker solution I am submitting this mail at your end.
