Subject: final reminder cum legal notice: grievance: washing machine defective, service center updating fake information on tickets, area manager refusing to have a look giving reason that my house is too far, needs refund

Dear sir,
This is my last reminder as well as consider this as a legal notice regarding my complaint numbers rnp[protected] and rnp[protected].

Needless, but once again to bring this to your notice that i purchased a washing machine cum dryer from your authorised dealer with the following details:-

I have brought to your notice multiple times that i purchased a washing machine with dryer with the above mentioned details.

One the first usage, i observed that the machine is not able to clean/filter the lint extracted from the clothes and instead of cleaning them, whole of the lint is sticking to the clothes making the other clothes unusable/dirty. The lint is also sticking to the machine drum and parts. Even you machine is having lint collector/drainer, but i cannot see any particle of lint in that, which means machine is not working properly and its not even able to fulfil its basic purpose of cleaning.

I intimate this to your demo guy on the first day, where he told me that he will raise this to lg team, but he never did. He never got any documents signed from me regarding demo completion. Here is what i have faced from day 1.

1. Your demo guys comes on the day of installation of machine, where he observed the lint collecting and sticking to doors and clothes and assured me that he will come back with the resolution, but he never came back, neither he got any document signed from me regarding the demo completion.

2. After a long wait, i raised a complaint rnp[protected] to your helpline by email. A guy from your service center visited my place and assured me that there is a problem and he will come back with the resolution but he never came back or contacted me. Whenever i tried to contact hime, he always informed that he has raised a complaint to lg, and lg will come back with resolution.

3. I once again raised a complaint rnp[protected] by email and your email also asked me to contact your service area manager mr. Sahil choudhary on his mobile [protected], but once i contacted him, i was shocked to hear his response as following:-

Your area service manager comments:-

Comment1: i sit in karnal, which is too far from panchkula, and i cannot come to see your problem.
Comment2: you may be mishandling the machine.
Comment3: its not in my hand to replace the machine.
Comment4: i understood your problem now, and i will get back to you on monday

But he never came back, never called me and i am seriously getting harassed.

4. Now if you will see the details of the complaints rnp[protected] and rnp[protected], you will see your service center has updated the fake statuses "pending for technical support", "under observation". But machine is still with me, who is observing it or who has given the technical support?

You will see what king of harassment i am facing after buying one of your premium product worth more than 80000.

Your machine was under replace warranty of 1 month, but your company has breached that and i not need the refund of my amount paid.

Now, since i am sufficiently harassed, kindly consider this as my legal notice, if lg is not going to take this seriously, i am going to file a complaint in consumer court.

Kindly take your machine back and refund my money. If not, kindly suggest me if i sould knock the doors of consumer court?

    Dear sir/madam
    I purchased an lg top loading fully automatic washing machine model no-t8018aeep5 on 19/10/12 its still under amc till 12/4/18, it was my ill fate that from the day i purchased the machine every 4-5 months some trouble arrives in it and a common trouble arrives every time i. E water inlet problem, harness failure and ae (Clutch error), my machine has been repaired several times for the same problem, so i kindly request you to please get my washing machine repaired properly or get it replaced.

      Irresponsible service and urgent problem resolving.
      I have purchase lg 43 inch led tv on dec 2018 and display problem on 05 jan 2018 and called customer service and informed regarding problem and informed them to attend on same day so that display line will not spread. Mean while our family have seen the seen the tv on these 3 days and spread the display line. On the second day i have taken image to show the proof. Next they have send installation person instead of technician and third day technician came and seen the tv and it was not covered under warranty and need to pay around 50-60% of tv cost to replace the display. And i asked technician why have not attend on the same day he made call to his and tl and manager and i spoke them they have informed that you booked for installation and the service. After some argument they have said that you should not on tv. I said we purchased for 70 thousand to watch tv and switch off. Its u r responsibility to give service. They are considering present condition tv. They they said you should talk to the customer care and not to us. And closed the service that i have registered and again made to cc and they said that it under discussion and we will resolve it soon...

      Check my post too pal. Post analysing the web and going through lot of complaints online I came to understand that LG is a poor choice for TV. I have a Samsung for ten years, but haven't faced any issue toll date.

        Hi,
        I purchased an lg washing machine last year (2016) from vijay sales in mgf plaza mall. Firstly, the washing machine delivered to us had a crack in its base and this not notified to us by the engineer even after installing. We had to get back to vijay sales and luckily they helped us out. Please mind that the customer service from lg during this scenario was not even close to satisfactory. After that, the engineer started to bug us about taking extended warranty and descaler for cleaning the drum to which we were skceptical. We confirmed from lg that if it is required and the answer was affirmative so we bought it. However, when we used the decaler later on, it damaged our drum from the bottom. Our washing machine is in warranty so we contacted lg for the same and after much hassles and resistance, the company sent us one of their “so-called” engineers (Name: manoj). He told us that the descaler you are using is not of our company because we have started manufacturing ours. Now, this is either a fraud done by their engineer or they have just started manufacturing their own descaler. However, they are now asking us to pay for replacing the drum which is clearly not our fault but the company’s. And also, in order to confuse and cheat, they are asking things like who did your installation, what was his name, for what price did he give you this and things like that. The behaviour in general from the customer service team is very lethargic, pathetic and rude. They just keep saying things to piss you off in a calm manner and no work is progressed.

        We were buying a washing machine from lg ambala cantt .bt after 6 month we were facing prob. And we were complainting many time bt service man always come and.mis guide us .saying everything is ok bt after compliting one year now he saying there is one part of maching is not working it will be changed kindly intervene

          I have purchased dvd player last year i. E in february 2016. Immediately next month there was some problem in it. Hence by using the toll free no i lodged my complaint. Every time a new executive comes listens to my complaint and assured me resolving the issue.

          In the month of august 2016 a mechanic came and he took my dvd player saying the mother board will be replaced. Till date i have not recived my dvd player back.

          I have been complaining to customer care centre and have written to them several times but till date there is no resolution to issue. Neighter i have received my dvd back neighter it is repaired. The mechanic is saying they have placed the request to lg india for replacing the mother board. But till date i have not received any reply.

          Is there any forum where i can lodged legally the complaint.
          Should i go to consumer court?

            Hi,

            I have lg led tv model 42le5500. It was bought in 2011.
            Recently it had problem that there was no display and complained to lg service centre and they visited at home and informed me that the mainboard of this tv is at fault and has to be replaced that costs around 8500rs. The service guy informed me that he'll go to his office and raise for this spare part and will inform me.
            Today morning he called me today and informed that this spare part is no longer available with lg??? And therefore my tv cannot be fixed??? Lg discontinued the model and stopped the supply of the spare parts for this model?

            Now i'm surprised and confused that within 6 years of product cycle there are no parts available for my tv? And i'm not sure what to do with my rs 68000 (At the time of purchase) worth of led tv? I'm shocked at this response from a reputed company. By the way this led tv model was very popular and was sold to many customers and i wonder what will happen to them.

            Could someone give me a solution about what to do about this? My next tv planned to purchase is a 55 or a 65 inch led tv and now i am forced to exclude lg as a brand in my buying options.
            Note: i am a loyal lg brand buyer. I have my blue ray player and washing machine. If this si the service lg is offering, i am sure none of the customers would be happy with his service.

              I had purchased, lg home theatre, model sj 5 from dealer m/s rahul electronics pvt ltd located at kasturba road, opp. Hotel greens, borivali east, mumbai - 400066. Telephone no [protected]/05.

              The tax invoice no is 508-boe dt. 21.12.2017.

              The said lg sound bar was received without installation plate. The lg technician who had come to install the sound bar opened the sealed box for installation but could not install as installation plate was not in the box.

              I called up lg customer care dept [protected] but was directed to service centre number [protected] but they said they cannot help as they do not have sound bar installation plates. I again called up, customer care dept and i was asked to dial [protected] of synergy services, andheri. But on dialling it gave message that the number is incorrect. Again i got in touch with customer care dept, and i was given number [protected] of supervisor of synergy services mr prashant gaikwad. But upon dialling i was told that they are not into lg service and it's wrong number.

              I called up again customer care dept and narrated that none of the contact numbers given by them is of any help. I was then told that i should contact dealer rahul electronics, borivali (East), from whom i had purchased lg home theater (Soundbar). I am chasing rahul electronics but they are not responding and only giving false promises. I also posted complaint on their facebook link but till date the sound bar is not installed.

              I don't understand why lg is not registering my complaint for missing accessory and providing me installation plate to complete proper installation of the sound bar.

              Lg should immediately send technician with installation plate and complete the installation.

              Dear LG,

              I am surprised that with so much of data pertaining to the Dealer from whom I have purchased, you could not get my contact details from the dealer.

              Indian Consumer Complaint forum also stores the email ID and contact numbers.

              It's about straightaway sending someone with installation plates and installing the sound bar.

              I shall be constrained to file legal case claiming damages for harassment and delaying installation.

                I have purchased double door refrigerator on 11-nov-2017. It worked one month
                Properly after that it stopped getting cool we have called so many times to showroom and service center. Service center people sent many people but nobody had resolved the issue.in that one person cutted behind (Compressor pipe) one pipe to check weather it is getting cool or not after checking it! He said some part (Compressor) has gone inside will replace it! 2 weeks over still now nobody had came my place to fix this issue. We had very good opinion on lg products but its disappointed us to take a decision. We are really fedup up of lg refrigerator. We don't want your product please take back your machine and refund the money or replace the product.

                  Lg 42” (42ln5120) change of motherboard
                  I raised this complaint on dec 10, 2017. I was told that resolution turnaround time would be maximum 5 days. After 5 days, i was told that the part has not yet arrived and it will take another few days or so. After that whenever i call, every time call center/area service center/area manager etc inform that part has not been arrived and it will take few days more.
                  It has been 23+ days now. And today i was told that it will take 10 days more.
                  I have been following up with your call center, area manager (Sarika), area manager (Sagar), area service center (Excel solutions), salman (Excel solution) and many more on a regular basis and till now i have not received any positive response and it is just getting delayed and delayed.
                  *i will launch a complaint in consumer court against lg and all of the names provided with highest escalation for:
                  · providing false information to customer repeatedly

                  · even after complaint is raised, no action on it from 21 + days

                  · harassment of customer in view of time, money and many more

                  · no resolution even after turnaround time has passed and delayed by almost 15+ days.

                    I have purchased a washing machine on 24/08/2017 and it got damaged on 23/12/2017 and subsequently i lodged the complaint with the customercare and thereafter a technician has visited my place. He has reported that one part has got damaged and he would order the same. Today is 30/12/2017 and for the last 5 days i was following with your stores which is located at ulhasnagar, mumbai. I have contacted the customercare and they have given the number of technicians. Twice they told that the piece has come and it is not matching. It is happened twice. Is it possible to happen the same. For the last 8 days i am facing too much problem and there is no proper reply from your side. Subsequently again i have contacted the customercare and they have given your service manager number, but it was replying that number is being forwarded. So i do not know to whom should i contact for this. If this is the service i am very much upset with lg.

                    I have purchased LG43UJ652T at your website it is mentioned that Multi View is there in this model. However as per the technician visit for Demo Multiview is available in higher model.Need your support in solving this issue. Multi View is must functionality for me

                    Please suggest else i will take this matter to next levels.

                      I have a lg washing machine. Few days back on 12th or 13th december 2017 i registered a complaint that my washing machine was not working (Water was not flowing in the tank). An engineer, named pankit shah (Contact no [protected]), visited my house. After checking everything he said estimated cost of about rs 2200 for replacing some parts. We said thats too much pls check & diagnose the actual issue to reduce the expense. He suggested to close the request so that he will get rs.70 from visit charges & than he will come offline & resolve the issue in about 1800. We thought he is familiar with this way of working, we said okay but we were not at all aware that we will not get bill for anything or any part. He visited later & replaced the water dispensing part. That part was not sealed pack neither any bill was given for that. After replacing the part, he gave me the demo where as soon as we switch on the power supply, tank starts rotating. Than he said that main switch board of machine has got some issues & that need to be serviced. I said that we need machine regularly & can not leave it close. Surprisingly he was carrying a display circuit of the same model in his bag (With his name written on it with pen) which he mentioned as one of another client who is out of town so he can fit that in to my machine by the time my machine's circuit gets repaired. After 2 or 3 days he came back stating my machine's circuit is repaired & its working fine now. He placed that & left. On very next day my machine's sensor stopped working & now there is no voice in to it of task completion. Today again he visited & said machine's speakers have got water in to that & they need to changed.
                      This is utter harassment to client & cheating to lg company. This engineer of yours is taking money from you also (None of my business & m least bothered) & cheating clients as well (Thats my point). Before his visit only the water dispensing issue & after his visit water dispensing, main display circuit & now the speakers, everything is damaged in a span of 4 days. I need your strict actions against the engineer & i need compensation against this harassment with proper & complete repair to my washing machine. I have been a loyal client & a great admirer of lg & its customer service but this guy has shown me the real face of your customer service. He has given his contact details to all my society's lg clients for all products for direct services.
                      If my this request is not taken in to serious consideration, i will not think twice to reach to your md & than to social media.

                        My lg washing machine got power issue and i raised the complaint with chennai lg customer care the issue is with the power panel on the washing machine. The lg technician took the power panel and promised to replace with new one. After week chaser, the lg customer care not responded and technician also not responded via phone.

                        My complaint was not taken seriously by customer care and today technical told no stock of spare power panel available in chennai.

                        Worst customer care by lg and no spare parts available even in big chennai.

                        This is not the service expected from an mnc company.

                        Even complaint number was not generate

                        I hope you supply spare part to chennai india and take action on the chennai lg customer care

                        Worst customer service.

                          Today on dated 23.12.17 in between 6pm to 7pm, i have gone to authorized service centre of lg electronics india pvt. Ltd at guwahati, name as "rbs refrigeration & electrical, bhangagarh, sreemantapur, h/no.22, near hotel utopia, guwahati-781032" to repair my tv of lg company which was almost dead condition ie no picture and no sound.in the service center they 1st change one board (May be smps where electricity board to tv connecting point is there) and checked but tv not run. Then they checked the another board (May be pcb where usv, entena, and audio jack etc connecting points are there) and tv start running ie became ok.
                          After became ok i request the concern engineer to check the tv by replacing the 1st new board to original old board as the tv became ok after changing the 2nd board not after changing the 1st board but the engineer told that they already check the 1st board before replace by giving registacnce etc.. "one mechanical sentence which i unable to understand and remember as i am not a mechanic" and at beginning i was not present there and while i was present there they changing the 1st board, so i convinced and paid the bill and returned with my tv and with both the old defective board but i was little confused and disturb about the 1st board.
                          Though after reaching home i felt very disturb about the replacement of 1st board so i myself opened the tv at 10pm today ie on dated 23.12.17 and changed the 1st new board to the old original board without any repair and i found my tv is ok and last more then 2 hour i am watching my tv without any disturb, which make clear that my 1st original board was ok and they change it unnecessarily which cost is rs.1933.
                          Sir, as my 1st board was ok then why they changed it? Why they make me bound to invest rs.1933 unnecessarily? Why they try to make me fool on my request?

                          (Also in lg customer care i register the complain on dated 10.12.17 which registration no is rnp[protected], and next day one gentleman come and taken the report but after that no communication and on dated 15.12.17 i received 2 sms by asking feedback where i replied as no service and again i called to customer care and they given a mobile no [protected] to contact where i tried many times but not pickuped. So today i bounded to search the service center by asking many people and in service center while i asked they replied that they as well as there customer care try to contact me but my mobile was not reachable, whereas my mobile is in full service in these days. Also if they can send sms by asking feedback then why not they send sms or mail if they not found me in my phone?. Also while i replied that i am calling in there mobile no which given by customer care they told it is not working but ringing. Is it a proper customer service?)
                          Please do the needful and justice.

                          As discussed with LG customer care officer of Guwahati ( Mrs Trisna Mahanta) who has taken serious initiate about my complaint and discuss with the concern LG service center by taking me in conference and as a result the service provider return me the whole amount which was taken at the time of service and I also returned the TV Board which they changed unnecessarily at the time of service. Thanks to the LG customer care team and all those who taken initiate about my complaint but my request to the LG authority so that they will take proper care to there customers and to do something so that no one can cheat and will try to make fool to there customers in future.                             Lg fridge heating element for ice maker (Ensures line does not freeze) in the door went bad after 10 months. I submitted claim 14 months after purchase and am begging for an exception and have got nothing but a run around, further exasperated by the unbearable experience of having to speak to a cs rep from india every time. Nothing against indians other than the fact i can rarely understand a word they are saying.

                              We bought top loading washing machine on 4th april 2017 and after a month this machine is not washing clothes at all. It is putting mud back in clothes. We lodged complaint and your service man cleaned up the lint filter and then the agitator but still it is pasting mud in clothes. None of the service center people seem to be knowledgeable and to help and yesterday they closed our service call without giving us the solution.

                              When we called up they are asking rs.2000 to clean up the drum and when we asked as to why within the first 4 months the drum is required to be cleaned they don't have an answer.
                              Request you to take back this machine and provide us with a front load as we have realized that this machine is either faulty or not capable of washing clothes.
                              Most importantly it is not capable of washing clothes and your earliest intervention will be really appreciated.
                              Please also instruct your service centre people to give out honest answers and not try to lie unnecessarily. We used to think that lg is known for its service but so far the response from your service centre personnel has left us shocked.

                                I have a model lmc1543ss microwave and i need a handle. Pretty common part. Part number is 3650w1a111e
                                Was told by lg to buy a new microwave as it is doscontinued
                                It is a sad world when manufacturers build in product obsolescence and fill our landfills. A perfectly good microwave built with a faulty handle and now i have to dispose if it and buy a new one. Wont be an lg for sure this time.

                                Still waiting to hear from LG. Not very impresses at how quick they are.
                                This is ridiculous. A large company like LG and I have to wait MONTHS for a reply or help!!
                                Worst company ever! Time to start complaining on social media to maybe get them to find this customer important enough to talk to.
                                I am having the exact same issue with my LG Microwave model LMC1543SS. The door handle has broken, and LG is telling me to buy a new microwave? This is ridiculous. The microwave is perfectly fine, and just needs a new door handle. Why are there no parts available for this? I will never buy another LG product again.

                                      Complaint received from pgportal - dear sir my grievance is against lg india, this company is the worst i have ever encountered when it comes to service, i have registered a grievance for my mobile service in consumer affairs under docket number 531844, they have closed my grievance stating they tried calling me many times, but the fact is even after updating my mobile number in the matter which i have written they have completely ignored and have updated a casual response, request your intervention, i am attaching screenshot for your reference - rakesh my last complaint was — dear sir please note that i had visited lg service center in k h road bangalore for mobile battery replacement of my lg google nexus 5 mobile, i purchased a battery worth 900/- through them, the technician installed the battery, the very next day morning much to my surprise the mobile had started to flicker, at times getting off & now the display has gone only notification light flashes every now and then, sir my mobile which has no issues from the day i had purchased has literally become stone

                                        Cannot think that buying lg products could be such a pain and such a frustrating experience. Trusting the company & product of lg and making purchases of home appliances worth of more than 2 lacs has proven to be a big mistake with reference to our lg product purchases made from, m/s vardhaman electronics, sector - 8, rohini, delhi-110085. The purchase includes two 1.5 ton split inverter a/c's, one 2 ton split a/c and one side-by-side refrigerator, which was bought on 31st oct, 2017.

                                        As part of the same purchase of side-by-side refrigerator (Sbs, gc – b247 scuv), the demo installation was booked on 26th nov, 2017, as the dealer had informed us that we can get the free demo/installation done anytime between the next one month from the date of billing. On 27th november, when the technician from royal services, sonipat visited and tried installing the refrigerator, the refrigerator was not functioning. There is power in the appliance but nothing else could happen, so the technician informed us that he has updated/informed about the error to the company and he will call us and let us know about the problems in some time. Whereas, when we did not receive any call from the technician or the service centre, we tried following up to know the problem but we were not given any specific reply and they gave us the number of mr. Rajesh saini at the karnal office to talk by saying that same was supposed to be done within 7 days only not in a month. Since, its more than a month now they would not be able to help. On calling mr. Rajesh, we were told that the refrigerator has some problem in the pcb and so it is not working and he will come back to us.in the meanwhile, we also called customer care of lg for more than 4-5 times as different executives were not able to give proper reply or were not understanding the issue. Customer care replied that we have forwarded your complaint and also directed us to talk to the service centre. Since then, we are trying to coordinate with each and every person possible, it may be area head - haryana (Mr. Rajesh), ms. Seema madan, our dealer m/s vardhaman electronics everyday but issue has not been resolved till today.

                                        After regular follow ups, ms seema, informed us that she has taken the approval of replacement of the refrigerator and same will be done in next 4-5 day. After few days, ms. Seema informed us same is pending with mr. Rajesh. We started following up with mr. Rajesh and he informed us that he has raised the requirement on last saturday and in next few days same will be replaced. We kept following with mr. Rajesh and in last three days every time he used to say that he will call in 10 min or some time but never called back. Today, once again i followed up with him and finally he informed us that this model is not available with him and he has checked that same is not available in entire india hence either he will do the needful for the refund or we can go for some other model by making differential payment

                                        • what about the time period of more than 18 days, we do not have active refrigerator at our home? Kids and entire family is suffering heavily due to no availability of suitable refrigeration space?
                                        • no one from lg called back so far to guide/update/resolve the issue, it we keep making calls every day. (Other than once, ms. Seema called to inform us that she has taken approval of replacement
                                        • we have tried finding (Spent 5-6 days in the market and much more on net for search) the best suitable model which fits in to our pocket as well as going with the interior of my new house, how come same can go for drain like this only.
                                        • how refund of our full amount can compensate our efforts and emotions.
                                        • what about the time and efforts we have spent on making 100’s of call to every person possible?
                                        • what about the money, spent on transportation of the same?
                                        • the treatment given to us is life time, even after making the purchase of rs. 2 lacs +.

                                        We have checked that the same model is available in the market very easily with many dealers as well as through online websites. It is expected that lg should understand the pain of customer and take the same very seriously.
