I bought lg inverter v series just two and a half years ago and it was the top end in the segment then. Usage was frequent in summer
(Four-five months) and moderate during the rest of the year. I bought it for almost 50k for an aluminium condenser.

All fine until 2 years and suddenly ac was not throwing cool air anymore. Lg technician from "crystal air system" in coimbatore visited and said they need to inspect the product in their warehouse and doubted a leak is possible. They took both the units for inspection and under pressure checks they found the condenser coil was leaking and said the replacement would be 8k.

With moderate usage and within two years the condenser coil started to leak. Now why would i go for a high-end lg a/c with a low-quality aluminium condenser coil at 50k when i can have other brands which are way cheaper than this. Voltas five-star ac with aluminium condenser bought at the same time at 26k working fine at home. An ac technician from outside also checked the coil and said the quality of the condenser coil
Is cheap, hence the leak within 2 years and said it is common in lg and samsung.

I should have gone for a copper condenser or some other brand
With a quality coil. It looks like lg is doing a scam to loot its own customers. I am not the only one check out others pointing out the
Same issues from lg air conditioner coils before buying.

I hope lg will look into this issue and resolve my issue at the earliest.

Here is the Aluminium condenser coil.. It's cheap and leaking in just 2 years for a 50K product.

Hi,

Bought the LG invertor AC 5 years ago. I choose this over others as this was sold saying premium and the cost was higher than other 5* ACs. This year when I started, it was not throwing cool air. Called the mechanic and he suspected leakage and filled the gas, saying it may reoccur and LG invertor has these issues and they cut the cost using the Aluminum coil.

Why would a brand like LG use a substandard coil on a expensive product. The company mechanic himself is complaining that LG used to do this earlier and unaware customer seeing the price did not bother to see the coil and other details. Same was with me. I never expected an aluminum coil in 50k AC. Though I bought all the products from LG, now I have stopped seeing the issues.

LG cannot keep selling saying good customer service. The products also have to match. I have bought 2 more ACs after that, Daikin and Hitachi. Both are excellent. Would prefer a lower customer service on quality now.

Have to spend 12-15 k on this or throw it away.
I too face exactly same issue, my LG split AC aluminum coil is leaking, not even used it for 2yrs continuously. Bought the AC for 44K, not worth to spend another 8K for replacement. LG should not release low quality products and charge heavily.

    We have purchased lg refrigerator model no.17gl-u402jpzx on 22/06/2017 through girias showroom, near bel circle, bengaluru. Since day one we are facing problem with refrigerator, what ever we keeps it is rotting within 2 days especially vegetable, leafs & fruits. Complained several times with lg service person and also with showroom, they visited & verified the product by setting some temperature in the refrigerator & advised us to wait for few days (This has happened almost 10 times in six months), still the problem is not solved, really we are facing lot of agony & mental stress from this product. First time we have purchased lg product, that too this type of product, now we lost all faith about lg products. Still company people are telling their product is correct & good, they are unable to understand our problem & rectify the same. We hare requested the company to replace with good one or refund our amount. But they are not at all listening our painfull call.

    Purchased on T302RPZN refrigerator and requested for demo RAP#[protected]entire day passed so many phone calls made nobody came from LG for demo till the entire day.Pl send some qualified and capable engineer promptly for completing the instalation and demo urgently.

      I have purchased my new lg tv befor 4 year back. After one year tv is not working properly. Than after i complain to customer care on continuous basis and similar i paid to local authorized service center. But they are suggesting me to sold my new tv at less amout as 40000. But i denied the proposal. So he ask me to total 15000. I says why i borrow such pain. So please let me know proper justification and support.

      I have bought this lg g6 five months ago before January security update it was working well but after update it start somewhat lagging like Snapchat app not working well, it somewhat hang when we start internet connection and it start heating without any extreme use.

        Ok listen up i called to day about lg phones mine and my old man are having issues it dont give the full service plane it was dispose to be the 27th for both phones had to buy more minutes so we could use them even though we still had 7 days left and even after we bought minutes he still can't use his i paid 45 last month for both phones and this time 35 have had this problem every time we have 7 days left of service your not holding up to your bargain i will take matters else where if it don't get resolved thank u one pissed of phone user have a nice day

          My 32 inch led colour tv bought 11/2 year back is under repair for second time. Last time i had paid around rs. 3500/- to set it right. This time they say it will cost around rs7000/-.           Microwave gets switched off now and then. I bought just 5 months back.

          AC aluminium coil gone with in 3 years. Had to spend 10k

          Had LG smart phone also. Got display problem with in an year.

          My opinion is that LG's products are very substandard. Whatever specifications they show in catalog may look good but nothing works properly.

                We had purchase model No.GL-318PNQ5.ASGZEBN on 27th Aug'2013 from LG electronic India pv.t ltd, plot no.51, Udyog vihar, Surajpur Kasna Road, Greater Noida, UP. Also We had AMC No.15050968 dated 06.12.17 valid up to 05.12.18.
                The above mention product is giving problem for cooling in the below compartment and we are getting this problem since April'2017 and we had complained number of times to customer care and every time the executive comes and get the cleaning done and since last month the LG executive is saying that the heater of the fridge is not working thus it is not possible to make the product repaired. He had also changed the Bio Meter of the fridge last month.
                Now please advise us what to do as we are not in a position to purchase a new fridge and getting lots of daily problems as it is necessity now a days. Thus you are requested to kindly repair our above mention model No. fridge on priority and arrange to provide the alternate new fridge till the time our fridge get repaired.

                  I had purchased a charcoal heating microwave a few years ago. A month back, the start button stopped working. So, i had raised a service request. A technician came and took the panel, promising that he will get the repaired part in 3 days. He did not return the part, so i called him. He promised again to return the part in 2 days. However, he did not return it. After tried calling him several times and then to customer care, i got the part back in unrepaired state. Thereafter, i was told that lg has stopped repairing such parts. Such a royal cheating by lg. How come they are not able to repair the part of a microwave which they launched in the market a few years back. Lg should be banned for operating in indian market and their customers for a ride.

                    Sir,

                    I have a lg washing machine with model number as wf-t7512hn

                    This machine was creating a noise during the wash cycle.

                    On 16/1/2018 i called up the guy named mr. Kunal, he visited at my place on 17/1/2018 and checked my machine and told me that the gearbox will have to be replaced and took rs. 200 as visiting charges. On 22/1/2018 through lg service center i came to know that this guy is working for lg service center of nasik.

                    On 17/1/2018 then, i had registered a complaint rnp[protected] and technician named mr. Rajaram visited at my place on the same day and told me that gearbox is having an issue and it need to be replaced. I paid the visiting charges of rs. 300. Upon asking for a payment receipt he said i will get a message shortly for the same.

                    On 20/1/2018 i received a call and a guy said that he is calling from lg service center of nasik, india and told me that gearbox for the above model is not available and now machine cannot be repaired by them. After that on the same day i emailed to [protected]@lge.com and requested to see if part can be made available, i then got the acknowledgement email for it.

                    On 21/1/2018 i received a call from a guy named mr. Sagar and said that he is calling from lg service center of nasik, india and he said that he is coming at my place to repair my machine. He came along with other 2 guys. They replaced the gearbox with another one and took rs. 3400 for the same. Upon asking for a payment receipt they said i will get a message shortly for the same.

                    On 22/1/2018 i received a call and a guy said that he is calling from lg service center of nasik, india and he asked whether technician has visited at my place and how much charges i paid to him. I told him that i have paid the total charges of rs. 3700 (Rs. 300 + rs. 3400) and still my issue is not resolved. He was shocked after listening an amount of rs. 3700 and said that only rs. 295 is showing in their system. Then, within an hour i got calls from manager of lg’s service center of nasik city and then from head manager from aurangabad. They enquired me about those 3 guys who visited at my place on 21/1/2018 and asked for their mobile number and also asked how they were looking. Then, manager of nasik’s service center also messaged me their photos on whatsapp to confirm that they were the same guys. Both managers told me that these 3 guys were ex-employees of lg’s service center. Head manager from aurangabad told me that he called up these guys and threatened them that the police action will be taken against them. I was shocked after coming to know that these 3 guys were unauthorized persons who came to my place and replaced part of my machine and took rs. 3400 for the same and still issue is not resolved.

                    This is clear that some current employee from lg’s service center of nasik got private information of mine like my mobile number which was then shared with unauthorized persons to contact me. Unauthorized persons told me that mr. Rajaram of lg’s service center has visited at my place on 17/1/2018 and they will now fix the problem. They also deducted rs. 300 from their total charges as these charges were previously paid to mr. Rajaram. This was just to show me that they are from a lg's service center. This indicates that, some current employee of lg’s service center have leaked all this private information of your customer and your company to the unauthorized persons.

                    Also, if lg’s service center technician mr. Rajaram had given me payment receipt at my place on 17/1/2018 right after the machine was checked, then i would had objected unauthorized persons who had visited at my place on 21/1/2018 as they also denied the payment receipt and they told me that it would me messaged. Why lg’s service center technician mr. Rajaram didn’t give me payment receipt or messaged me invoice instantly at my place on 17/1/2018?

                    This entire incident has caused financial loss to me. I am also not sure that the part which was replaced by unauthorized persons is safe or not. It may be some cheap duplicate gearbox which can cause issues like spark or fire. Also, these guys were not able to easily remove the old gearbox which might have caused damage to the other parts of my machine.

                    I also done regular follow-up regarding this serious issue with the manager of lg’s nasik service center on 23/1/2018 and 24/1/2018 but it seems that he is trying to save his current and ex-employees and he is ignoring the important fact that private information like customer’s mobile number, invoice details and lg service center technician name was leaked from lg’s nasik service center office and their staff.

                    I was a big fan of lg brand and its products. My father used to buy all electronic appliances from lg only. Last year also i bought 4 appliances from lg only. But after this incident i am really in a deep shock because someone who is currently working for lg’s service center leaked the private information of mine and lg electronics like mobile number, invoice details and your technician’s name who visited at my place on 17/1/2018. This information was provided to the unauthorized persons to deceive me that they are working for lg service center. I request lg electronics to take an appropriate action and do the justice with your loyal customer by paying the compensation for this.

                    I request lg to look into this matter asap as this is a serious offense of fraud and breach of trust.in the event that lg electronics do not pay the compensation to me i will have to take further action to get the justice.

                        Purchased tv in aanjaneya enterprise, dassarahalli, on 29-01-18. Paid rs.50100/- on aanjaneya enterprise, through credit card. I went showroom directly, after a week. Mr. Hemanth said when you pay the money mr. Santosh is there, now he is not coming. You please directly deel with suresh. I can't do anything. Santosh is telling, his uncle expired in an accident, so he is in village, he called hemanth to send tv. But hemanth is time passing from last 10 days. Still he is saying i can't do anything.

                        First I asked, Hemant to give the no of Bangalore head for LG. He given Mr Kumar no.#[protected]. I called him but he is not responding. Than I have send all detailed sms to Mr Kumar.

                        Finally Yesterday[protected] send sms

                        Please suggest me what to do.
                        I finally decided that today evening, I will go to show room with my team, whether I will bring my TV, or return back my money, plus 15 days interest on my paid money. Otherwise We won't left the showroom.
                        If required I will come with media people.

                        Mean while I'm going to complain to LG online.

                        Than he respond and send me a message that "Give us time we team planned to visit suresh house today even i spoke with hemanth also will clear it as soon as possible'

                        Than I called Santosh, and said but Santosh told me that Who is Kumar I don't know, he is not our boss and We are handling directly from Delhi.

                        Now what to do? It's time waste and unnessary tension to me.

                          Worst lg service. Don't buy lg microwave ovens. Staff doing fraud. My lg intellowave microwave oven stopped working. Items put not getting heated. I have approached service center. They sent 2 persons they checked and told me magnetron is not functioning to change it takes 2400 plus service charge 500. I said it is too costly and said no need to repair as i am going to buy a new one. I went and buy new microwave of another brand bcoz i need it asap. Three days later lg service person whos name is shakir (His mobile: [protected]) call me and said he will come and check my lg microwave. He came and checked and told me that sir give me 1800 i will change the magnetron. After one day he came back with magnetron and took 2000 for magnetron and service charge. He said sir if you have any complaint on this magnetron please call me directly so that i will come and fix the problem. He has given no receipt for the magnetron that he replaced. I worked for one day and stopped working. I called shakir several times but he didn't shown up so far. I just realized that he deceived me with a fake magnetron. I just wanted to share this bcoz no other customers get affected by such customer service.

                            I have had my nexus 5x for about 2 years now and just today it started restarting over and over again and getting stuck on the google screen as it boots up and then it turns itself back off again, gets to the google screen and repeats. i was able to turn on fastboot mode and i performed a factory reset. this did not fix the issue. i have been looking through forums and have seen apparent ways to fix it by flashing my device but i am unable to get all the drivers and programs required to fix the problem. how can i contact google to either help me fix this problem or send in my phone to have it fixed

                                One month back i got update about the new android version and i have updated it. After completing update it just keep restart and hang on the google logo. I have tried all the possible option and even when we visit the customer car of lg in pune, they just say that this is the known issue after android update and you need to change the mother board which will cost you around 12k, which is ridiculas.

                                This is the issue of the software which came after the update which released by lg than why we need to pay for it, there should be free replacement of it.

                                  Dear team, i have having 3 a/c of lg at my house at cuttack. I do all the services from your authorized service center at cuttcak. Last time your team was come for water dripping complain & what they do i don't know my a/c gas got blown out, i have raised a service request but no team came up and close the complain by themselves. Now when i am again complained to solve my problem they are demanding some unnecessary accessories to fit so that they can work. Misbehaving with family members and telling them to throw the a/c at dump yard, asking to do amc else every time you have to fill the gas, we will no take any responsibility. While i discuss the same with your distributor mr. Deepak (Mob-[protected]) he also threatens that they will not be responsible. But the failure happen after the servicing done by the authorized technician. I have faced the similar issue in my othera/c. Filled gas 3 times after doing amc its working perfectly. Your distributor at cuttack is taking the un due advantage of the brand and making your loyal customers to suffer. Hope you will listen to my plea and do the needful. My last complain no rnp[protected]. Pl look into the case seriously & help your loyal customers from these goons and mafia service centers. If not will force to change my preference. Waiting for a positive response.

                                    I have purchased a new Audio system of LG electronics on 22/1/18 from M/s Viraat Gift and Electronics, Hoshangabad road, Bhopal vide receipt no.HR 9652 dtd. 22/1/18. the Audio system is LG X Boom model LG OJ98. on detail inspection of the system it is observed that one of its tweeter speaker cone is torn, which means that the set has been supplied to me with damaged speaker the matter was reported to m/s Viraat, who have advised to talk to your toll free customer care no.                                       I was having drying and draining problem in my washing machine and made complaint to LG Customer care. A engineer has visited on 7th/8th January 2018 and told us that only the drain problem is there and all other things are well. I asked him for any other problem. Engineer suggested us to change only the drain motor and sent request to LG Company for new motor. A new engineer has come on 9th January 2018 and replaced the drain motor. We paid the bill. From that time machine started to make some noise, we thought because of new motor it started and would adjust later self. I would like to highlight here that machine was not making any noise/bubbling before the service and only drain/drying problem was there. On 30th January 2018, I made complaint again as noise become more loud and started drain problem again, customer toll free member suggested us to adjust the stand of machine. We did the same and that time the machine started working, so i cancelled my complaint. After 2-3 days, i faced same problem and made complaint again 3rd Feb 2018. ON same day, that first engineer visited my home and now suggested new services cost of Rs.[protected]. My complaint is that why engineer has not made me aware all about at that time/total cost so I could think to replace my machine at that time and did not expense of on drain motor and key pad cost. I am feeling that engineer has cheated me at that time by not mentioning total cost at that point of time. I also made this complaint to LG customer care. My concern is also that after getting this service, my machine may not work properly again and next time a new engineer would come and tell me to expense more on this.

                                        Hello my rnp is[protected] and note that in november month only we have service from you to change motherboard and again we have same problem in three month and tv is in out of warranty.
                                        We again raised an issue to resolve this problem but service mechanic said to pay 5k for motherboard... First thing what kind of part you are using to assemble your tv and this kind of issue we cannot expect from lg as after buying this tv my life is not going good either sucks. So change you lg name to ls from life is good to life sucks after buying your tv.
