Since 8th Sept 2017, have been raising multiple Service Requests at LG Customer Care for the same issue. Issue being lower section of the Refrigerator not cooling. First complaint for this issue was raised on 06/09/2017 (don't have the Complaint No. for it) and latest was raised on 03/01/2018, Complaint No. being RNP[protected]. In between this period, multiple Service Request Calls were logged from my Registered Mobile Number ([protected]).

Multiple Technicians have visited and serviced multiple times, including changing parts, and charged me multiple times for the same issue. It has been over 4.5 months now but the issue still exists. Multiple escalations to LG Team have been made but still they have not been able to resolve the issue. They keep coming back with different reasons but end result is that my Refrigerator has now become non-functional, mostly due to lack of proper expertise from LG Team in timely identifying the issue and resolving it.

My product is only 6.5 years old and had cost me around Rs 45, 000/-. In last 4.5 months, I have already paid around Rs 2000/- to LG Service Center but to no use. I need your assistance in getting a resolution to my problem as emails and calls to LG Team is not helping me any which ways. Either they repair it properly or replace it completely without any additional costs to me.

I am attaching a copy of emails being sent to LG Team (LG_Emails_20180111.pdf). Request your quick action as My Family has had to go through a lot of mental harassment over last 4.5 months due to this. It was and can never be expected from a reputed Organization like LG to treat and dupe it's Customers in this way.

    I bought a lg refrigerator model no. Gl-t402ensy. Dnszebn on 17/06/2017. Since, i have bought this refrigerator i am facing issues continuously. I have contacted many times to the dealer and lg company also, but i have not got any response from their side. I have also shared the photos of spoiled vegetable in my new fridge with the grievance team but they never came back. Vegetables are completely getting spoiled in the fridge because of no reason. Please call and speak to me and resolve the matter asap otherwise i will have to take up the issue to the higher authorities.

      I submit my mobile to service on lg service centre (Balaji enterprises, 7b, ekdalia road, beside saree kuthir, ground floor, premises of simon day school, gariahat, kolkata 700019) dated 28/08/2017 but till date mobile is not repair and no any phone calls from that service centre. Even i call them continuously no any proper reply from them. On 15/09/2017 got reply from them they will provide d. O to purchase new mobile because mobile was not repair so till date they are not providing d. O.

      Please help me and provide me d. O to purchase new mobile (If they repair my old mobile that i will not trust what they repair also my mobile guarantee period is over if any fault found in mobile then they will not repair after receiving mobile phone from them).

      I mail to lg customer care continuously but no any response from them.

        Lg team, this is to inform on misbehaviour shown by lg representative (Sitender singh). We called him and he repaired our lg refrigerator by putting 1100/- part. After when he has gone refrigerator was not working as it was expected. He has given his personal number to inform on any issue after repair. We tried to reach him continuously and he has been making excuses and its been 3 months that our refrigerator services are not up and running. This is a poor view of bad staff behavior and very bad on you to show this type of attitude towards customer service. Lkg should immediately take action on it. As my 1100/- and services are completely on stake.

          Very disappointing from a big brand, i have recently purchased a lg television (43 inches) from croma, it is getting restarted every 3 days and croma raised a complaint and a lg technician was sent to verify as he took photos, and now he is kind of impression that tv is a month old, it is very difficult to replace the tv but they will replace a board or faulty in the tv,

          First of all it is a defective piece sent and how can one say that,

          Am waiting for reply from executive and take it further to consumer forum if now replaced the entire tv, it is a hard earned money,

              We were extremely shocked to observe that fridge internal body started Cracking after 2.5 year.We informed to the seller and nearest LG Service Center.A technician came and checked the Refrigerator . He clicked Photos and taken copy of bill and said will respond back, but they never responded back, we called many times to dealer and he chased complain with service center but nothing fruitful. 7-8 months passed in all this procedure. From last 10-15 days same procedure started with fresh, I called customer care they said technician will come, after a long discussion customer care said me talk to their senior member named seema madan from karnal branch(haryana). I talked with her, she was so rude i explained whole situation she literally said after listen "ho gya aapka". I was shocked and sad to see such rude behavior of a senior member. she said she will call me again after discussion with our local dealer. Today i called her again she said they cant do anything they can only give 15% discount.Hot so reputed company is so irresponsible that i purchased asset of 16k and after 4 years again i have to spent such huge money on it.

                I visited a lg shop in kalyan i had to buy washing machine and oven. I was informed that there is an offer on icici and hdfc credit card ie. If i buy by using any of these cards there will be 0 amount processing fee and 0% interest rate on emi and 7.5% of the whole amount will be cash back. Apart from these he also told that if any lg product got burn or damage because of electricity problem they will replace it without knowing the cause. He offered 28lt oven and 6.5 kg washing machine in 42k and said that around 3k i will get cash back. I made transaction through icici credit card on 7th jan 2018. 2 days back i got emi statement and it was showing 42k+2309 (Interest)+207.8 (Cgst)+207.8 (Sgst) and monthly emi 4923 for 9 months. Now it become around 44k of those product.
                I inquired with the dealer again he again repeated the same scheme. I also inquired with lg company and icici bank they said there is no such offer. While lg company person said that once they had offer like cash back but that has already expired in month of oct 2017.

                I was getting those product in 40k from other shop but because of he misguide and fraud with us i bought. What to do in this case? Why will i pay 4k extra? Kindly suggest me.

                    I have purchased lg uhd 65 inch tv during june 2015. With 2 yrs warranty.
                    The problem started from day one. The package received was without the table mounting screws (Which raised doubt in my mind whether the same is the display pence which war in the store)
                    Post one year of purchase the display panel went blank and got the same replaced by the company as i the tv was in warranty period.
                    Exactly after 11 months of panel replacement, same issue occurred again and again company was courteous enough to replace the same. But never took the effort to understand why the same issue occurred again on may 2017. While asked for amc, the local service engineer assured that there is one year warranty for the panel, but there was not even a receipt for replacement handed over to me. Now, exactly after 7 month, in dec 2017, again the same problem occurred and the company personnel bluntly says there is no warranty and has to be replaced at cost. While the company had extended 50% discount, i wanted to know why the commitment is not honored.
                    Why is the same problem occuring again and again.
                    For a faulty manufactured piece, why am i getting penalized.

                      Then we did amc renew and amc expire on 31 december 2017

                      Machine was giving problem since november 2017 we have complaint also but no reply no one came t attend complaints

                      Now they came in first week in january 2018, give us a bill of nearly 10000 as part replacement and other services

                      I am unable to understand if machine was under amc then why we pay money to them,

                      What is the meaning of amc if they charge money

                        We have taken extended warranty from lg for washing machine paying around 5000rs. Machine had issues now and still under warranty. It took 3 weeks to get the parts and they closed the ticket. We called customer care and opened a new ticket and now lg is rejecting to cover the parts and asking us to pay 10000 rs for washing machine repair. We escalated to higher management but no use.                           This is my last reminder as well as consider this as a legal notice regarding my complaint numbers rnp[protected] and rnp[protected].

                          Needless, but once again to bring this to your notice that i purchased a washing machine cum dryer from your authorised dealer with the following details:-

                          Product name: washing machine with dryer, 10.5 and 7 kg

                          Delivery address: hno:945, first floor, sector 11, panchkula, haryana-134109

                          I have brought to your notice multiple times that i purchased a washing machine with dryer with the above mentioned details.

                          One the first usage, i observed that the machine is not able to clean/filter the lint extracted from the clothes and instead of cleaning them, whole of the lint is sticking to the clothes making the other clothes unusable/dirty. The lint is also sticking to the machine drum and parts. Even you machine is having lint collector/drainer, but i cannot see any particle of lint in that, which means machine is not working properly and its not even able to fulfil its basic purpose of cleaning.

                          I intimate this to your demo guy on the first day, where he told me that he will raise this to lg team, but he never did. He never got any documents signed from me regarding demo completion. Here is what i have faced from day 1.

                          1. Your demo guys comes on the day of installation of machine, where he observed the lint collecting and sticking to doors and clothes and assured me that he will come back with the resolution, but he never came back, neither he got any document signed from me regarding the demo completion.

                          2. After a long wait, i raised a complaint rnp[protected] to your helpline by email. A guy from your service center visited my place and assured me that there is a problem and he will come back with the resolution but he never came back or contacted me. Whenever i tried to contact hime, he always informed that he has raised a complaint to lg, and lg will come back with resolution.

                          3. I once again raised a complaint rnp[protected] by email and your email also asked me to contact your service area manager mr. Sahil choudhary on his mobile [protected], but once i contacted him, i was shocked to hear his response as following:-

                          Your area service manager comments:-

                          Comment1: i sit in karnal, which is too far from panchkula, and i cannot come to see your problem.
                          Comment2: you may be mishandling the machine.
                          Comment3: its not in my hand to replace the machine.
                          Comment4: i understood your problem now, and i will get back to you on monday

                          But he never came back, never called me and i am seriously getting harassed.

                          4. Now if you will see the details of the complaints rnp[protected] and rnp[protected], you will see your service center has updated the fake statuses "pending for technical support", "under observation". But machine is still with me, who is observing it or who has given the technical support?

                          You will see what king of harassment i am facing after buying one of your premium product worth more than 80000.

                          Your machine was under replace warranty of 1 month, but your company has breached that and i not need the refund of my amount paid.

                          Now, since i am sufficiently harassed, kindly consider this as my legal notice, if lg is not going to take this seriously, i am going to file a complaint in consumer court.

                          Kindly take your machine back and refund my money. If not, kindly suggest me if i sould knock the doors of consumer court?

                            I purchased an lg top loading fully automatic washing machine model no-t8018aeep5 on 19/10/12 its still under amc till 12/4/18, it was my ill fate that from the day i purchased the machine every 4-5 months some trouble arrives in it and a common trouble arrives every time i. E water inlet problem, harness failure and ae (Clutch error), my machine has been repaired several times for the same problem, so i kindly request you to please get my washing machine repaired properly or get it replaced.

                              Irresponsible service and urgent problem resolving.
                              I have purchase lg 43 inch led tv on dec 2018 and display problem on 05 jan 2018 and called customer service and informed regarding problem and informed them to attend on same day so that display line will not spread. Mean while our family have seen the seen the tv on these 3 days and spread the display line. On the second day i have taken image to show the proof. Next they have send installation person instead of technician and third day technician came and seen the tv and it was not covered under warranty and need to pay around 50-60% of tv cost to replace the display. And i asked technician why have not attend on the same day he made call to his and tl and manager and i spoke them they have informed that you booked for installation and the service. After some argument they have said that you should not on tv. I said we purchased for 70 thousand to watch tv and switch off. Its u r responsibility to give service. They are considering present condition tv. They they said you should talk to the customer care and not to us. And closed the service that i have registered and again made to cc and they said that it under discussion and we will resolve it soon...

                              Check my post too pal. Post analysing the web and going through lot of complaints online I came to understand that LG is a poor choice for TV. I have a Samsung for ten years, but haven't faced any issue toll date.

                                Hi,
                                I purchased an lg washing machine last year (2016) from vijay sales in mgf plaza mall. Firstly, the washing machine delivered to us had a crack in its base and this not notified to us by the engineer even after installing. We had to get back to vijay sales and luckily they helped us out. Please mind that the customer service from lg during this scenario was not even close to satisfactory. After that, the engineer started to bug us about taking extended warranty and descaler for cleaning the drum to which we were skceptical. We confirmed from lg that if it is required and the answer was affirmative so we bought it. However, when we used the decaler later on, it damaged our drum from the bottom. Our washing machine is in warranty so we contacted lg for the same and after much hassles and resistance, the company sent us one of their “so-called” engineers (Name: manoj). He told us that the descaler you are using is not of our company because we have started manufacturing ours. Now, this is either a fraud done by their engineer or they have just started manufacturing their own descaler. However, they are now asking us to pay for replacing the drum which is clearly not our fault but the company’s. And also, in order to confuse and cheat, they are asking things like who did your installation, what was his name, for what price did he give you this and things like that. The behaviour in general from the customer service team is very lethargic, pathetic and rude. They just keep saying things to piss you off in a calm manner and no work is progressed.

                                  I have purchased dvd player last year i. E in february 2016. Immediately next month there was some problem in it. Hence by using the toll free no i lodged my complaint. Every time a new executive comes listens to my complaint and assured me resolving the issue.

                                  In the month of august 2016 a mechanic came and he took my dvd player saying the mother board will be replaced. Till date i have not recived my dvd player back.

                                  I have been complaining to customer care centre and have written to them several times but till date there is no resolution to issue. Neighter i have received my dvd back neighter it is repaired. The mechanic is saying they have placed the request to lg india for replacing the mother board. But till date i have not received any reply.

                                  Is there any forum where i can lodged legally the complaint.
                                  Should i go to consumer court?

                                    Hi,

                                    I have lg led tv model 42le5500. It was bought in 2011.
                                    Recently it had problem that there was no display and complained to lg service centre and they visited at home and informed me that the mainboard of this tv is at fault and has to be replaced that costs around 8500rs. The service guy informed me that he'll go to his office and raise for this spare part and will inform me.
                                    Today morning he called me today and informed that this spare part is no longer available with lg??? And therefore my tv cannot be fixed??? Lg discontinued the model and stopped the supply of the spare parts for this model?

                                    Now i'm surprised and confused that within 6 years of product cycle there are no parts available for my tv? And i'm not sure what to do with my rs 68000 (At the time of purchase) worth of led tv? I'm shocked at this response from a reputed company. By the way this led tv model was very popular and was sold to many customers and i wonder what will happen to them.

                                    Could someone give me a solution about what to do about this? My next tv planned to purchase is a 55 or a 65 inch led tv and now i am forced to exclude lg as a brand in my buying options.
                                    Note: i am a loyal lg brand buyer. I have my blue ray player and washing machine. If this si the service lg is offering, i am sure none of the customers would be happy with his service.

                                      I had purchased, lg home theatre, model sj 5 from dealer m/s rahul electronics pvt ltd located at kasturba road, opp. Hotel greens, borivali east, mumbai - 400066. Telephone no [protected]/05.

                                      The tax invoice no is 508-boe dt. 21.12.2017.

                                      The said lg sound bar was received without installation plate. The lg technician who had come to install the sound bar opened the sealed box for installation but could not install as installation plate was not in the box.

                                      I called up lg customer care dept [protected] but was directed to service centre number [protected] but they said they cannot help as they do not have sound bar installation plates. I again called up, customer care dept and i was asked to dial [protected] of synergy services, andheri. But on dialling it gave message that the number is incorrect. Again i got in touch with customer care dept, and i was given number [protected] of supervisor of synergy services mr prashant gaikwad. But upon dialling i was told that they are not into lg service and it's wrong number.

                                      I called up again customer care dept and narrated that none of the contact numbers given by them is of any help. I was then told that i should contact dealer rahul electronics, borivali (East), from whom i had purchased lg home theater (Soundbar). I am chasing rahul electronics but they are not responding and only giving false promises. I also posted complaint on their facebook link but till date the sound bar is not installed.

                                      I don't understand why lg is not registering my complaint for missing accessory and providing me installation plate to complete proper installation of the sound bar.

                                      Lg should immediately send technician with installation plate and complete the installation.

                                      I am surprised that with so much of data pertaining to the Dealer from whom I have purchased, you could not get my contact details from the dealer.

                                      Indian Consumer Complaint forum also stores the email ID and contact numbers.

                                      It's about straightaway sending someone with installation plates and installing the sound bar.

                                      I shall be constrained to file legal case claiming damages for harassment and delaying installation.

                                        I have purchased double door refrigerator on 11-nov-2017. It worked one month
                                        Properly after that it stopped getting cool we have called so many times to showroom and service center. Service center people sent many people but nobody had resolved the issue.in that one person cutted behind (Compressor pipe) one pipe to check weather it is getting cool or not after checking it! He said some part (Compressor) has gone inside will replace it! 2 weeks over still now nobody had came my place to fix this issue. We had very good opinion on lg products but its disappointed us to take a decision. We are really fedup up of lg refrigerator. We don't want your product please take back your machine and refund the money or replace the product.
