I purchased 43 " lg led tv, model no. 43lf540a from ashwani electro world (Lg authorised dealer) kanpur on 07/09/2016 of rs. 39, 800/- bearing invoice no. 30/1474. On 22/09/2017 when i switched on tv, i saw a thin verticle pink coloured line on the screen. I lodged a complaint on 23/09/2017 to toll free no.[protected] and got a complaint no.[protected]. An engineer visited my home ater 1.45 hours from complaint lodged time. He saw the screen and told to my parents that there is some technical fault in the panel, it needs to change the panel and warranty period is expired before 15 days. Hence, the repairing expenses will be about rs. 20, 000/-. My parents called me over phone told me the cost incurring to repair tv as i was in my office and i came to know that warranty is expired few days back.
I shocked to listen such a big expense. Lg is a very big, reputed and trustworthy company. I used maximum electronic items of lg brand. I have lg refrigirator, lg microwave, lg tv, lg washing machine. I suggest my relatives to buy electronic items of lg brand.
But today i regret to say that i lost my faith on lg brand because the fault occured immediately after expiry of warranty period inspite of taking all care.
As the warranty period lapsed few days back, this is my humble request to waive the panel cost of rs. 20, 000 around. I will be highly grateful.
