Sub: Selling of defective piece of Inverter split AC
With reference to the complaints registered RNP[protected], RNP[protected] RNP[protected] RNP[protected] RNP[protected] RNP[protected] RNP[protected] RNP[protected] & much more regarding complaints of a brand new AC purchased on 24/04/2017. The said AC was not cooling properly after a week of installation. The installation was done by the seller. The seller told me that installation ware made by the local people. The relevant points are produced below chronologically.
a. My Ac was running properly. After a week the cooling was slowing down gradually.
b. Generally in the night people set the AC within the range of 23-25 degree for sleeping, but my Ac is working at 18 degree and HC mode, but not able to generate the temperature to a comfortable label as the other brands do.
c. I am sleeping in the night at 18 degree with a thin blanket and service engineer said AC is working well.
d. After that, the Ac machine sudden stopped working while it is running. When I switch off then on the machine get started.
e. CH/23 error is displaying and the machine stopped working till the error.
f. Fog from the window of the AC was blowing more than 5 minutes.
g. Remote of the Ac does not working many times. In the screen of the remote all the sign and signals are been displayed at a time.
h. When I made the complaint, the service engineer who ware visiting the AC said that I am laying and they are not more interested to resolve the same.
i. Then I made video clips of all my claims. Telling lying or truth will be decided by the video in the court room very soon.
j. But the fact is, if I offered them Rs 2000/- only as a bribe, situation of writing of this letter to you would never come.
k. During 6 visit they wanted much more from me but I do not agreed, then the situation become much complex.
l. In the month of November here at kiribuiru the winter season started, I still sleeping in the night at 18 degree. At 18 degree the room must become chill. At 23-25 degree it is not working.
m. Now I feel that there is a fan installed in the shape of AC and sold by LG by the name “INVERTER AC”.
n. Regarding my complaints, I had telephonic conversation with Mr Satyajit, Mrs Mamta Sinha & Mr. Arka Ghosh.
1. Total six times visit was made by the service engineer.
2. During the first visit, the service engineer said that the installation is faulty since it was made by the third party and not by the LG. Hence the Ac is not producing much cooling.
3. Surprisingly he also said that the AC is working fine.
4. Service engineer once at a time how can he say the controversy statement? In one hand it is faulty on the other hand it is fine?
5. During 2nd visit service engg. Said that the electricity fault is there. There is no proper earthling in the electricity. If it is corrected the AC would be working properly. The pictures were also taken by the service engg.
6. In this context I have to say that I am residing in the SAIL’s quarter and the electricity supply system is same in all the quarters of SAIL. In all the quarters all the AC is working hassle free except mine. The above said electricity problem was a Ghost problem. If it has an adverse effect, all the electronic appliances in all the quarters would be damaged immediately.
7. However I made the earthling properly. After that as per the engg’s wording the AC must be run properly, but it remains the same.
8. In the 3rd visit, the service engg said that the AC is fine. However the service engg charged the GAS. After charging the cooling system crashed drastically. But surprisingly the service engg. Again said the AC is working fine.
9. In this context, I just have to say that no one is willing to take the responsibility of getting the products damaged by them. Hence they said that product is ok. Other main question of mine is that if the AC was working fine the necessity of charging GAS two times are not understandable to me.
10. In the 4th visit they again charged the GAS. But the result was same. The engg’s said that there is fault and the said AC will be replaced. However they said that the company has made lot of expenses over this issue and the company will do nothing. I, as a customer will have to carry the AC in the same situation. The company will never change nor repair the AC.
11. I also visited them another AC of Samsung, the service engineer said that the AC of Samsung is much better than LG. Hence is working well compare to LG. The LG is not much better.
12. As an engineer of LG how can they say like that? There are so many AC installed in the same room of other quarters and all are working well. But in my case the problem is out of control to the LG, since it does not intend to expense over the issue. I also wrote on the service report “NOT SATISFIED” but the complaint was made closed at the end of service centre without my consent.
13. In the 5th visit the engineer said the same words. When I told them the AC goes sudden trip, he said I am lying. If I arrange them for a night in the Guest house, then he can pay attention to my complaints.
14. I agreed to that on the condition that if the fault is in my side then I will bear all the expenses and if it is on the LG side, then you have to bear the expenses. Then the engineer refused and my Ac was been unattended.
15. During the 6th visit the visit was made more than a month. During this time the rainy season was started. At the Kiriburu the weather gone chill since it is hill station and the LG’s executive Mr. Arka Ghosh who was monitoring my case have all the knowledge of weather of Kiribru. The service engineer visited my house at 8 PM in the night. The weather of kiriburu was 20-24 degree.
16. In such weather, if a fan is being made on, the temperature goes down 2-4 degree down. In the AC it reduced to same degree below.
17. The engineer also said in such a low temperature the AC cannot be tested effectively.
18. After the visit no any reply was given to me. Then I called Mr. Arka Ghosh, the monitoring officer of LG, he said that the air throw of SAMSUNG Ac is much better than LG. Again they said that the company has made a lot of expenses hence the company will not entertain you. And we do not have any responsibility. The AC is working well.
19. I also requested them to please confirm me in writing, and they said that please mail me. I wrote them a mail up to 2nd reminder, and then I talked over phone but till date no any confirmation was given to me till date.
20. When I made an online complaint in the forum, there are several call ware made to me from LG, but none of the executive was interested to solve the problem. All of them made a call and asked me about the problem. After hearing that they said the same process. When I asked to take the service centre on phone line, all the time the call was disconnected at their end.
21. After that they were making calls on Sundays, since they easily said that the service centre is off on Sundays.
22. I also informed them that if I made expenses o[censored]p to Rs 2000 over visiting service engineer, the whole problem would be solved. But they do not respond accordingly.
23. I also made a conversation with customer care executive and Mr arka Ghosh over conference on phone line, but no solution is there.
24. Sir, I am a Central Govt employee and I do not have much time to attend the service engineer frequently. On attending them I have to take half day leave from the company. So it becomes very inconvenient for me to attend them. Second thing is that I am not that idle to attend them fortnightly and my house is not a guest house.
25. During six time visit they do not even find the solution.
26. The other entire brand’s AC if it is running at 24 degree the room become chill and my AC at 18 degree and HC mode do nothing.
27. I made several complaints, e-mail to the LG’s website, mail to Controlling officers of LG and MR arka Ghosh.
28. All of them said that the AC is fine verbally but in the situation of giving it in writing, all of them refused.
29. The reason behind it is still unexplained. If it is working fine then please write it down and confirm me in writing.
30. If the AC is fine and If I were an engineer I will never charge the GAS TWO TIMES.
31. If there is electricity problem then all the AC and home appliances must be damaged in all the quarters of SAIL.
32. On dated 26/10/17 a message came from BP-LGCARE “your service request RNP[protected] is closed (reason customer cannot be contacted) ”.
33. So many times calls have been made to me from LG care from NOIDA by Mr. Bittu and their colleagues. You can check the call logs of the calls made to my No. [protected] & [protected].
From all the facts, observation is the problem is due to
1. Electricity fault
2. Third party installation
3. I am lying
4. I am not bribing them
5. The Company has made a lot of expenses hence it cannot be rectified.
6. I should buy a SAMSUNG AC or and other brand since its cooling is much better than LG “As per LG service engineer’s and MR. ARKA GHOSH voice”
7. If I made a complaint LG will send service engineer and he will say AC IS WORKING FINE. And so on in the cyclic process.
8. Like last 6 visit, it will be next and next. As all LG channel informed me their intention to not to make it correct.
The probable solution is:
1. The company has made a lot of expense. Hence I should not make a complaint
2. The company has a mind set to NOT TO TAKE A PROPER SOLUTION.
What I should do:
1. I should write it to the directors of the company.
2. If they not resolve move to the consumer court.
My wishes:
1. I want to donate the said AC to the directors of the company free of cost to either install it in their bed room or in the TOILET.
2. Against my donation, I need only a slip containing the name of donor and the motive behind it.
