Dear Sir, This is to inform you that today, my mother Bhavneet Kaur Sethi went to Mohali Phase-2 branch of LIC to deposit the premium and I'm sorry to say that she had to face the worst behaviour possible in the branch. There was a long queue and actually, no queue for ladies. The systems were not working and the person sitting on reception asked my mother to request the lady in the accounts department to get the work done. The lady from the accounts section was actually sitting there and just chit-chatting with coulleagues. The name of the lady is Mrs. Parminder Kaur. On requesting her, she started shouting and growling badly. Is it so because she is a government employee and was sitting in an office? Please tell me whether you are allowed to shout on any of the customers being an employee of any company? Being a government officer, she is in no position to shout on any of the customers. My mother got scared and came out of the branch and told me the whole story after coming back home. Thankfully, I was not there with my mother in your office otherwise I would have created a scene there itself. So what if she is a government employee, even she has a family, what if I start shouting on her. How would anyone feel? I would request you to kindly look into the matter otherwise I won't hesitate to take this issue to the senior level.     LIC Housing Finance intentionally approves the home loans to the eligible borrowers on the fixed rate of Interest for 2 years without even giving / explaining the option of Floating / Fixed rate of Interest.
    Borrower assumes that LICHFL is doing a great service as the Interest rate is quite reasonable and he blindly chooses the LICHFL for buying his dream house. Initially at the time of property valuation in collision with Engineers they under value the property and sanction the loan and state that top up loan can be availed after couple of months.
    It is obvious when the property is undervalued you will not get the required amount and when we approached them for the top up loan for interiors / repairs they state that though you are eligible for higher loan but they we will be able to provide you only a small amount and when we ask why the property was undervalued and sanctioned loan was less then they advise you to move to some other financial institution and if you want to move to other bank then they are asking us to pay the 2% on outstanding balance because the loan sanctioned was on Fixed Rate of Interest. Based on this I would like to tell the facts about the lichfl
    From the beginning of application - Agents or brokers are attached to you who are hardly able to explain the details or conditions of loan
    No one makes visit to the property for inspection or valuation as happened in my case and the Agent takes the photographs of the property and submits them to lichfl and Property Valuer gives report based on his own assumption and we can manipulate anything because corruption is so much rampant in lichfl.
    LICHFL intentionally puts the borrower under fixed rate for 2 years instead of 6 months and without even explaining the option of floating rate and this is nothing but a cheating and against the fair practice code which is written on its website.
    lichfl does not bother to service the customer as no one is there is to explain or resolve the problem and frankly asks to move out by paying the 2% on outstanding loan balance as they have clearly achieved their business targets and have got the bonus.
    I do not know how to get the justice because lichfl does not come under the RBI but NHB which clearly says that financial institution (lichfl) and the borrower is responsible for the deeds. NHB and LICHFL higher officials are not bothered to do any justice to the borrowers. When RBI passes the guidelines to the banks it usually says that there is no pre-closure charges for floating rate and I donot know why RBI does not allow or waive off the pre-payment charges on home loans on fixed rate of interest so that it helps lakhs of borrowers who are at the mercy of financials institutions such lichfl which demands 2% as pre-closure on outstanding loan for transfer to other banks. Request to please do justice as the borrower is borrower either the home loan on fixed rate or floating rate why this discrimination. Thanks
    LICHFL Sanctions home loans to its borrowers on Fixed Rate of Interest forcibily without giving them the option of floating rate of interest which is gross violation of justice.

      Hi,

      I have taken the housing loan from LIC Housing Finance in the year 2012,
      I am paying regularly my EMI, Recently due to emergency at home i could not pay the EMI for 2 Months which was bounced alternative month.

      I received a call from the number [protected] telling name as Ravindra from LIC office Gachibowli Hyderabad and started threatening me with filthy language with out even intimating on the bounce of my emi's,

      I am worried how an Government employee calls and warn me to come my home and fight with me.

      Please take necessary action on this. I am going to complain to police as well.

        Dear sir, i have a LIC policy[protected] and agency code through which i had purchased is 01675159. yesterday i received a call from LIC that i hadn't claim my bonus till now and it will elapsed if i didn't verified my identity on that same call. i refused to verify my identity on phone. May be its a wrong intentional call. Neither my agent remind me about premium till date nor he informed me about any such bonus. Kindly help me out ... Thank you Kuldeep

              I had applied for a top of my home loan with the LIC HFL Haldwani branch with the agent Neema Bhat. I submitted all the documents on 2nd October 2015 and the application was submitted. Since then the agent has been manipulating me and misguiding and giving wrong information on the status of the loan process.

              I had given 20k in the name of processing fee and stamp duties. PDC were taken from me and even they have deducted my first EMI but no money is disbursed till now.

              I am hugely disappointed and angry at this state of working and professionalism. I am not sure whether this behavior is in the best interests of LIC HFL and its agents.

              Need help and pls help if you guys can.
              and even after my numerous calls/messages the agent is not picking up the calls nor responding. Need strict action on such shameless treatment to the customer and more to an individual

                            Hi,

                            I have taken home loan from LIC Housing Finance, While applying for loan their executive came and visit my place regarding home loan. So we have given all the require document for processing it. After few days they informed us that your home loan is approved and you need to go ahead of Disbursement and you you need to give cash of Rs.2500, we gave all the document with ECS signature on the form and we gave them Cheque of Rs.2500 not cash.Again at the month end they approached with reason that "Sir your signature is not matching with your ECS Bank so you need to give a fresh ecs mandate with cash of 2, 500, so I have given the same and my loan got disburse". But after some days when I inquire in bank regarding my ECS.I complaint the regarding the same to the particular branch even they did not gave me and solution.So please look into it and and cash transaction why?

                              My name is Tapas Sen. My loan account number is[protected]. I applied for a copy of my sale deed on 29/08/2015. When I submitted the application, Customer service person told me that it would take maximum 1 month to receive the copy. He also gave me a contact number and asked me to contact after 1 month.
                              I called up in that number after one month. Customer Service person asked me to contact after another 10 days. I called up again after 10 days, they asked me to contact after 1 week. Since then I call them up in every week. Everytime they ask me to contact after 1 week. It more than 9 weeks now since I applied for the document. Today again they asked me to contact in next week. I tried to call the Area Manager. He is not picking up the phone. I am not sure what I will do next. Can you please help me.

                                    Someone has taken loan against my policy in 2008. I have already requested lic people and IRDA people but all in vain. I had requested that if i had taken loan kindly give me details of cheque you issued in my favour. Till date they are send me the details. I received last letter from Manager (CRM) LIC dated 11.03.2013 that we are seeking into the matter but till date no result. Kindly look into the matter and take necessary action against the culprit otherwise i will lodge fir against the LIC people and will also move to the Hon'ble Consumer Court.

Installment mode of policy is yearly and last year I was not made payment of installment ( 2014) for Rs, 12010/- due to financial problem. On the day i.e. on 28/10/2014 I approach to you above named satellite office to inquiry about the policy status. I personally ask the madam who was in office about status. She said you should be check the same from cash counter clerk. Thereafter I stand in queue of cash counter. When my number was came I ask cash counter clerk to check the status of policy. He again send back me to madam as the policy has been closed. Again I approach to madam and said her to give me correct status of policy. so that I can deposit installment amount at counter. That lady kept me waiting for half an hour and started to feeding new policies in computer . After an half hour again I request her to do help. that time she ask another person of office (office attendance) to check about policy status. The office attendance said I will check and he gone out of office to do another work and no body can help me. Sir I want to inform you that, this lady purposely kept me in waiting . Finally I went out from office gone in Kudal branch which was 22 kms away from this branch and confirm the status form Thesil - Kudal Office . where was the payment due for Rs. 25432/- which was suddenly deposited on same date in Kudal LIC branch . You can check the receipt against above policy. Sir It was not good thing . I am sorry to say that but this is very disgusting and painful that the staff appointed by LIC of India, the biggest Insurance Group of India, don’t know how to deal with the customers, they misbehave and harass the customers despite the customers are ready to give them the complete support to solve the problem if some mistake has been occurred from whom so ever. I request you to please get this matter resolved on the highest priority within a week’s time else I would have to approach to the Consumer Court. And please take a serious action against that lady which was neglect such thing, so that in future no other customer would suffer and image of the LIC will not be hampered anymore like it had been in my case.
